Title: The Crystal Caverns

Padmé - January 9, 2007 01:33 PM (GMT)
These caves are crawling with Kinraths. It has been known for countless decades that this was always a hive for these creatures. Reaching any of the crystals is a grueling task, and you must battle your way through the creatures that dwell within.

EACH VISIT, YOU MAY ONLY TAKE A MAXIMUM OF 5 CRYSTALS........ AND VISITS MUST BE SEPERATED BY 1 WEEK

Crystal colours found here are:

Green
Blue
Purple

Jin-ho - July 1, 2007 11:32 PM (GMT)
[Hidden Rebel Base]

While driving around in the more secluded areas of the plains of Dantooine, Jin-ho noticed a couple of caves a bit further ahead. Curious, she guided the hoverbike over to them, and unholstered her blaster as she crept closer, not willing to stumble onto some wild animal that had made its home there.

As she peeked into the entrance, she noticed no animals moving, though her attention was drawn by a strange light at the other end, shining softly in several colors of the visible spectrum. Carefully, she sneaked closer, eyes glued to her immediate surroundings in case she'd draw the attention of something else in return.

Jin-ho - July 1, 2007 11:41 PM (GMT)
Jin-ho crept closer to the other end of the cave. From her current vantage point, she noticed the glow was caused by strange looking crystals, of a type she had never seen before. They appeared to shine with an inner light, casting lights on the cavern walls in various mixtures of green, purple and blue.

It looked quite pretty, actually.

Attracted to it like a fly to a light, she got closer, until she noticed something moving in the distance, and froze, crouching as she squinted to make out what it was.

Jin-ho - July 1, 2007 11:47 PM (GMT)
Not being able to make out some movement, she blamed it to be a trick of the eyes, and started to creep closer again. Due to the darkness however, she stubbed her toe on something. Looking down to see what it was, she froze, recognising animal bones even in the dim lighting the crystals provided.

Her head shot up again, towards the end of the cavern. There was movement there, of more than one creature. Carefully, she backed away, her free hand feeling the cave wall as her other kept the blaster pointing in the direction of the glow.

Jin-ho - July 1, 2007 11:51 PM (GMT)
The movement increased in the distance, making it painfully clear to Jin-ho that she was, in fact, quite outnumbered. Even though the small blaster would help in fending one or two off, there would be no way it would hold all of them back.

Tearing her eyes away from the apparent commotion ahead, she turned around, breaking into a dead run towards the cavern entrance. Shrill cries came from behind her now, and the sound of animal legs on stone as the kinrath were starting to give chase to the prey they sensed.

Ayanna Nyx - July 1, 2007 11:58 PM (GMT)
Out of the darkness a figure appeared, it was a woman in her 30s, dressed in a brown cloak.

"What are you doing here? This is too dangerous for a girl like you to be roaming around in....."

Jin-ho - July 1, 2007 11:58 PM (GMT)
- "Sorrybeingchasedrightnowcan'ttalkbye!"

Rushing straight past the woman in her haste, Jin-ho made it out of the cavern in time, though the sheer running speed she had managed could mainly be accredited to panic and her being in her prime. She hardly slowed down as her eyes took a second to adjust to the daylight, and she was able to spot where she had parked her hoverbike shortly afterwards.

Not wanting to pause a second, believing the kinrath to be on her tail still, the red haired girl jumped into the saddle, making its engine accellerate so violently that the front of the bike lifted up in the air... Well, further than normal, anyway.

After she had put a considerable amount of distance between herself and the cave's inhabitants, she slowed down again, relaxing somewhat now that that was finally over. The crystals had looked rather pretty, but she suspected a fair amount of people had gotten themselves killed doing what she had just done. Circling around the uninhabited areas of the Plains a bit longer, she returned to the Rebel Base again, to see if Bail and Leia Organa would be ready to leave now.

Olly2007 - July 25, 2007 11:34 PM (GMT)
Zen crept into the cave, it was dark but he pulled out a small welding torch from his small tool kit, that gave him a little bit of light.
Walking abit further he noticed the light began to ever so slightly brighter, he looked at his torch but nothing had changed, he then looked ahead and from arround a left turn he could see a slight glow of what appeared to be various colors.

He took a few more steps forward then from behind he heard a small rustling, He turned and there was nothing there, he turned arround to come face to face with two young, not yet fully grown, Kinraths.
Zen jumped out of his skin and stepped backwards, his instinct made him draw his Vibroblade, The Kinraths charged at him, Zen stood still and once clopse enough he crouched and spun in a circle on his heal, slicing the bottom halfs of most if not all the young Kinrath's legs.
Zen quickly put the beasts out of their misery and sliced into the head of each Kinrath.
He looked down at the corpses, Zen did not like to kill wildlife, for some reason he dealt better with Intelligent life such as Humans, Twi'leks or any other alien, but when it came to animals or any other creature Zen felt a sadness, especially when he had killed the creatues, He was a lover of wildlife and hated harming it.

He picked up the torch he had dropped in the quick fight and placed it back in his small tool kit, the kit was so small it fit on his belt. The light was no bright enough for him to see infront of him, so he carried on walking.
Zen approached the bright light and when he turned the corner and was amazed to see a bright array of different crystals, he was attracted to a purple crystal, he walked closer to the crystal and then noticed 3 piles of what appeared to be fairly large eggs, there seemed to be at least five in each pile. He took a deep breath those things he just killed must of been protecting the nest meaning that if the others where not there now they would return soon, Zen picked up a peice of the Purple crystal that was on the floor, he then noticed a strange, crystal glowing a Green colour, he picked it up and placed both crystals within his tool kit.

He heared scurrying and decided to make a run for it, he drew his Vibro blade and then with the otherh and took out his Torch so he oculd see the darker parts of the tunnel, a few minutes later he could see the glowing light of the sun form outside. He heard the scurrying again and turned to see three fully grown Kinraths.
"Ahhhh Bantha Fodda!" he quickly ran to the entrance but it was blocked by another two Kinraths.
"Sith spit, im done for"....

Olly2007 - July 26, 2007 05:21 PM (GMT)
Zen moved quickly.
Spinning he threw his Torch at the Two in the main entrance, they backed off scared of its flame. Zen quickly ran through the gap that had been made grabbing his torch as he did.
The five Kinraths chased him and he ran as fast as possible, soon they stopped and headed back to their nests.
"Thank the force" Zen said to himself.

After doing another very long walk Zen had finally come to the Refugee centre he had come ot earlier.

Cordelia - August 6, 2007 01:41 PM (GMT)
After finding a suitable landing area on the snowy fields of Dantooine Cory hadn't come upon any life forms or for that matter, any life at all except for the awesome below zero temperatures on the planet. Alena had fallen asleep during the long journey and had retired to bed leaving Cory alone with her thoughts. As she started the landing procedure she placed the holo-disc into the main screen in the cockpit. On the tele-screen Diego's form shimmered to life once again.

"Good Girl Alex! You're a smart one you know that!?" he smiled briefly at her and then turned serious. He sighed out loud and then looked down at Cory.

"The information you've downloaded onto your data collector has to be taken to the hands of the only Jedi I know, who lives in the Cyrstal Caverns. She won't mean you harm but use extreme caution. Don't trust anyone. This information is vital to the Jedi. Be very careful on your way through the caverns. Tell the Jedi when you see her that I have been killed and you are here to represent me with the information in which they seek."

Diego smiled again. "I love you my dear heart and I'm sure you will be on the path of greatness. Never fear my daughter. I'll always be in your heart."

The image then faded from the screen and Deigo was gone forever. Cory chewed her bottom lip as numerous thoughts of Deigo ran through her mind. So he was doing something good with his life after all which greatly pleased her. Cory knew she would follow down his path and help the Rebels with their fight against the empire. She knew she had valuable skills as a pilot, hacker, and computer whiz. She rose from her seat and took out the holo-disc and placed it into the destruction bin where it was disintegrated into nothingness.

She took out her data collector and burned the encrypted files she found on Diego's computer onto a holo disc for this Jedi who was supposed to meet her. She hoped she would believe her story and wouldn't kill her. Cory was sure she'd see the truth of what she spoke within her heart and soul. Convincing Alena not to come was another story. That story that would require gaining the girl's full attention and making her understand it was too dangerous.

Cory stepped from the cockpit and walked back into the kitchen. She tucked the disc into a case and tucked it into a hidden pocket in the back of her pants. She then gathered her bet cold weather gear that included: a small hand held holo lamp, a thermal suite, and gloves, boots, and a pair of goggles to protect her from the weather. She placed everything but her clothes for outside in her backpack. She knew it was winter on the planet and she had to be prepared. As she walked into the bedroom she found Alena still asleep.

As she sat down on the bed beside the girl she gently nudged her hoping she would wake up. After a few more nudges Alena woke up yawning. “What is it Cory?”

Cory smiled down at the girl. "We have arrived on Dantooine but I fear it’s very cold outside and I’ve got to go into town to meet somebody Deigo asked me to meet. Now...I know this is going to sound rough and you’ll think I’m being a mean person but it’s for your own safety. I want you to stay on the ship until I return. Okay?"

Alena got up and walked out into the cockpit and peered out the window. Cory came up behind her and gently touched the girl’s shoulder. That was when the girl flung herself into Cory’s arms and cried. "Be careful Cory! Come back to me Okayy?"

Cory nodded empathetically a she wiped away the girl's tears. "I will little one. I promise."

Cory knelt down and pulled a communication link from her pocket and handed it to the girl. "If you have any problems contact me on that. I’ll check back in with you in an hour but I shouldn’t be gone too long. If you get worried call me on that okay?"

Alena took the device and nodded. "I’ll be a good girl and watch some more cartoons."

"That’s my girl!" Cory replied as she led her into the living area and turned on the tele-screen. Alena sat down and placed the communicator beside her leg. As the young one started watching the shows Cory began to put her gear on which took her about ten minutes. When she was all geared up she left the ship and put the door back up so Alena wouldn’t get cold plus she felt safer with the security system on as well. She pushed that button on the panel as she walked out into the snowstorm which was beginning to increase in strength.

She didn’t know how long she had walked but finally she saw a cave in sight and as she entered inside it she found it wasn’t as cold in there as it was outside in the storm. Taking out the holo-lamp she made it light up and picked up the lamp. As she began exploring the cavern she noticed several different crystals along the walls. Some were green while others were blue, and some were even purple. She stopped at a batch of green ones and frowned because she didn’t know what they were used for. Somehow she knew one day they would be of value to her she plucked five green ones and tucked them into her backpack but she wasn’t here for crystals.

As she made her way deeper into the cavern she realized she was being watched by something or someone which worried her because she didn’t have any weapons on her except for her martial arts skills and perhaps her brute strength. She stopped as she walked down a turn and whispered, "Hello?? Is somebody there?"

Ayanna Nyx - August 6, 2007 04:10 PM (GMT)
All that could be heard in the darkness of the caves were faint whispers. Whether they were real or just the hissing of the winds that blew through gently would soon be revealed. The air seemed to change, a sense of security which was rare in a place such as this, then out of the shadows came a figure dressed in a dark cloak, hiding it's form and appearance well in this place. But then it spoke,

"Yes...... I have been waiting here for you..... For one who would stumble across me whether on purpose, or by accident......" The voice was now clearly feminine, and sounded surprisingly gentle.

The figure stepped forward more until some of the light that was clinging to the surroundings showed her face. It was a woman in her forties, though still youthful in appearance, her eyes told the tales of much struggle and hardship.

"Don't be afraid, I will not hurt you......" She spoke carefully, "What is your name?"

"Don't be afraid, I will not hurt you......" She spoke carefully, "What is your name?"

"My name is Cordelia Lavinseer, daughter of Diego Mandrake." Cory replied as the woman took a few steps toward her. The woman seemed to come out of nowhere. Cory was surprised anything could survive in this cave but as she peered curiously at the woman she saw that she had indeed lived a harsh life. It seemed that whatever she had learned had saved her life numerous times.

"I've come with information that Diego wanted you to have. It's secret information that he told me to give to you and he wanted me to see you too....but what it was about I will never know because he is dead. Jabba the Hutt killed him two months ago."

It had been a harsh two months but Cory had finally accepted Diego's death and that it was indeed a part of living. Death came quickly or slowly. It didn't matter when Death decided to visit the intended person. The end result was death. Cory knew that you had to live life to the fullest extent but the main thing she learned in the past month and a half was that she had to be happy. She had to be happy no matter what she was doing in order to get by. As long as she was happy with what she did then nothing else mattered. Cory looked down at the snowy ground and then back at the woman before she gave her a warm smile.

The figure stayed a little cautious but spoke,

"Continue, what is it you have to tell me Cordelia..... But we must move while you tell it to me, it is not wise to stay here for too long..... There are many men and beasts that will discover us in time...... Follow me...."

The woman walked ahead of Cordelia, waiting to hear what she had to say. It seemed that she was leading them both deeper and deeper into the caverns.

The woman walked ahead of Cordelia, waiting to hear what she had to say. It seemed that she was leading them both deeper and deeper into the caverns.

Cordelia listened intently as the older lady spoke. That was when she heard the sound of a monster not too far away. It's growl penetrated her ears and she swift fully moved behind the older woman. As the two of them began walking through the beautiful but deadly crystal caverns Cory began telling her humble but sad tale.

"Well rather than bore you with my history let's just say that Diego isn't my real father but I thought him that way. My biological parents didn't care for me or love me in any way a set of parents should have loved their child. In reality they loathed me. They were too busy with their own lives or I should say lies they were wrapped up in I was nothing but a burden in their home. So they sent me away to a separatist university where I learned many things such as hacking into any kind of mainframe or anything to do with electronics. I can also fix any type of electronic you give me. I'm also very agile and strong because I work out on a daily basis although as of late I've been a bit slacking." she took a deep breath before continuing.

"Eventually, I met Deigo at the University seeing how he would visit on a regular basis to give us kids goods he had stolen or in his terms...."borrowed". He was the one who got close to me and from then on you could say he took me under his wing and taught me everything he knew. I became a pretty darn good pilot but I knew I would never have the skills he did. I had no clue he was working for Jabba the Hutt. Well I knew he did a few jobs for him because he mentioned them here or there when we had our late night talks."

"Apparently, he had stolen a new blaster called the Firestorm. I did research on it for him and showed him where a large amount of them were hidden. I got holo-maps of the building, the sentry hours, whether the place had any traps or cameras, and the whole kit and caboodle. So needless to say he went in, stole the guns, and that was when the empire attacked my university. Unfortunately it was because of Diego's recent visits the empire took great interest in him and attacks many students including myself and killed many teachers. I was in the hospital for about three months until I healed. My biological parents came to visit me but they were disgraced by my recent actions and my wanting to become a pilot and I was even thinking of becoming a Smuggler but I wasn't sure yet."

Cory wet her lips as they continued as the two women walked deeper into the caverns. The beast's roars were far in the distance and when Cory looked down she saw that her boots were no longer making any footprints in the snow.

"Once I healed Deigo and I went Tatooine so Deigo could pay up and ask Jabba to release him from his services. Well anyone who deals with Jabba the Hutt is in for life but Deigo was hoping he'd get away so he could be with me. Naturally Jabba killed him and since then I've been on my own. Deigo left a final message. One was to go to his house on Alderaan and get a clue. That clue is on this holo-disc." Cory held out the holo-disc. "He said it was some kind of information that you knew would be vital to the rebel alliance. He made me solve an encryption code and then had me blow up all of the evidence in his house. He gave me anther holo-disc which told me to bring the information here and give it to you. Then he said that you would know what to do from there on."

The two were very deep into the cavern now that Cory had totally lost her sense of direction. She didn't know whether or not they were going north, south, east, or west. She swallowed as she let the older woman walk a head of her. She waited patiently with her hands clasped behind her back.

Ayanna Nyx - August 8, 2007 03:24 PM (GMT)
The woman lead her into a small section of the cave that appeared to be the place she had lived for some time, although it was wide open on first appearance, seeming that it would be dangerous to live there. With that, behind the two, countless rocks began to raise from different parts of the cave, and blocked the passage way behind them.

"Don't worry, it is only temporary, this is how I managed to stay out of sight for so long, from wanderers, hunters and beasts..... May I have a look at the disk please....." She waited as Cordelia handed it to her, and she began to look at it carefully, though she seemed to know what was contained in it.

"You have taken much caution and risked so much to bring this to me..... If the Empire were to discover you here with me, we would both be killed........" The woman gave a faint smile, "I'm sure it is no secret to you that I was once a Jedi...... I guess I still am but now that the Jedi are no more, I am unsure whether I can hold that title any longer......... My name is Sabria Odai...... It's been so long since I spoke my own name....... I have dwelled in this place for so long...... And in all fairness, I was only a Jedi for a matter of months before the Jedi Purge struck......... But anyway, this you have given me will be of great help to the Alliance...... We are indebted to you....." Sabria waited to hear what she had to say.

Cordelia - August 8, 2007 03:49 PM (GMT)
Cory's eyes widened as the supposed 'door' to Sabria's house appeared and shielded them from prying eyes and ears. She listened with interest as Sabrina told her of her past history and she was a bit shocked to hear that she was a Jedi but now that she looked at her she knew it was true. She was in the presence of a Jedi! She knelt down and bowed her head in respect before she rose again to her feet. Looking at Sabrina she wished she could do more to help her.

"I only did what I knew was right. I know that this information is vital to the Rebellion. If we are to one day have peace then the Rebellion Forces need all the help they can get. I know this isn't my choice but is there anyway that I can aide you further in your cause? You see my cause too is to put an end to the Empire's Tyranny. I want the Alliance to take control so all who are slaves can live free. I want peace again. I know one must live day by day and keep in mind experiences they've gone through. I wish to help you and other members of the Alliance. I know that if Degio could put his life toward helping the alliance then I would like too as well."

She stood patiently waiting for a reply. The woman indeed had been alone for a very long time. She remembered reading about the horrible executive order 66 which had wiped out nearly all of the remaining Jedi. She wondered if her two heroes were still alive. She had come to respect Master Yoda and Master Obi-Wan's history, even though she had never met a Jedi before she knew they were great people.

Ayanna Nyx - August 8, 2007 04:00 PM (GMT)
Sabria listened to her words, "Well, it is merely a dream that the Rebellion is able to claim back what was destroyed in those final days of the Old Republic...... Though it was a corrupt system, it was better than what the people must suffer now....... A New Republic must be formed, and the mistakes of the past remembered...... Only through learning to overcome our mistakes can we secure a bright future....... You sound as though you do not yet hold any connections to the Rebellion, but you do support them...... Have you ever had the opportunity to join them" Sabria asked.

Only through learning to overcome our mistakes can we secure a bright future....... You sound as though you do not yet hold any connections to the Rebellion, but you do support them...... Have you ever had the opportunity to join them" Sabria asked.

"Me...? Join the rebellion.....I must admit I am very flattered that you ask me. However, I would be glad to accept whatever offer you may wish to bestow upon me. Although I will have to send my kid sister somewhere safe. I would be honored to help you with your just cause. I know one day the dream will come through but for now I fear we are still in the darkness of the empire. One day the Light will shine through. You have my word."

Maybe this was her true destiny to help those who had the same ideas as her. What Sabria said about the past events which happened to the Jedi and the past and had to be remembered. She knew what that was like in some ways but not to the extent of people being killed because of their beliefs in peace and a firm democracy. The slate had to be wiped clean from time to time and now seemed like that time once again to clean the dishes. However, it would take a lot of work and effort from her and many others whom she hadn't met.

Cory bowed her head politely but that was when a thought struck her. What about Alena's safety? If she was indeed chose to join the Alliance against the Empire then she couldn't let the girl alone. She had come to love the girl as her sister and she wasn't about to abandon her after they had become so close. She knew she would have to mention this as well.

"Sabria, I wish to join your cause but I must ask. What can I do to keep my sister Alena safe? I certainly don't want her to be left alone. I'm the only family she has, you see the girl was a thief and runaway on Croscuant. I found her, helped bail her out of trouble with the law, and we've been together for about a month now. I've just gained her trust and she has gained mine. I don't want to disappoint her or make her hate me for leaving her alone."

Ayanna Nyx - August 8, 2007 05:55 PM (GMT)
Sabria smiled at what she said, "Well I can't say I am a member of the Rebellion myself, I was only wondering if you were in fact one..... However I do have my sources...... I could gain you access to the Rebellion, but there is something else that I sense in you, something more powerful than that of a freedom fighter. You have a great light that shines in you Cordelia......" Sabria continued, "If we lived in the time of the Old Republic, you would have been a Jedi..... Although..... That doorway is always open to those who wish to walk through it......" Sabria watched her face very carefully, "Concerning your sister, I can have her protected if you wish....."

Cory was stunned at Sabria's words her a Jedi? No way. That couldn't be possible but then again Deigo had always told her she was a very special girl and had a greatness about her soul. She was glad to have once called him her father. She knew he would be proud of her recent actions. She pondered if she would be of any use to the rebellion now or should she consider becoming a Jedi. She knew in her hear that this was her true calling. She was overpowered with joy and she bowed her head and gave a silent thank you prayer to the spirits above.

She looked at Sabria and smiled at the woman before she dropped to her knees and looked up at her.

"I would be honored if you can protect Alena. I would be forever grateful and in your debt. I have never been in the rebellion but my father said my spirit is wild and free and I would be a perfect member for the Alliance but my wishes are not to walk down that path. Instead I would ask of you that I am willing to learn from you the ways of the Jedi, so I may protect the future of the Republic and those who are free. I am yours to command. Your life is my life. Thank you my lady for this great honor."

Ayanna Nyx - August 8, 2007 07:26 PM (GMT)
Sabria nodded her head towards her, "You will become a great Jedi Cordelia, I take you now as my Padawan Learner...... I will teach you all I have to give, but always leave your mind open...... It will take a long time, but you will be a true Jedi in time, just have patience, and have faith in the living Force..... As for your sister, the best option is for her to be brought here to Dantooine, I have friends in the hidden rebel base here who can keep her there, it would mean that you would also have closer contact with her...... I know this cave is not the most cozy or exciting place to live but it is the safest place for us.... The Empire has little interest in this planet, that is why the Rebels are also here..... However the day may come that we have to flee from this place, the future is uncertain and clouded..... So victory for the Jedi or the Rebellion is unclear......"

OOC: I have now made you a Jedi by category now ;)

Cordelia - August 8, 2007 11:19 PM (GMT)
Cory waited patiently as her master discussed with her the options of having Alena brought her to Dantooine. She knew that she now was walking down a path of goodness. She knew her sister would be proud of her but she wondered if her sister even knew what a Jedi was. She knew the road was going to be a long one and she was glad she had a sturdy pair of walking shoes. She was sure many sticks and stones would present themselves in time but she would over come them. She knew Deigo smiled down upon her this very moment because she felt a whisper on his mind saying, "I love you girl and I'm proud of ya."

Looking at her master with new eyes she nodded her head in confirmation. "I'm willing to learn all that you can teach my mistress. I am yours to command. I will not let you and the remaining Jedi down. I give you my oath. Where you go I shall go. I don't mind leaving a place if there is known danger from the Empire in sight. I know they are always on the move to learn anything they can about the Jedi's whereabouts."

She licked her lips and smiled. "Yet, If I might speak freely.....I want to let you know that I own a ship, the very ship that Deigo once owned, The FoxFire. My sister is aboard that ship at this very moment waiting my return. If you wish it; we can take my ship and you can point me in the right direction of the Alliance's hidden base. Then without worry we can go there. I'm sure you would like to warm up."

She bowed her head with respect at her new master.

Ayanna Nyx - August 8, 2007 11:49 PM (GMT)
Sabria smiled, "No, I will remain here, it is best to remain out of sight..... It is the only way to ensure our survival..... As for the hidden rebel base, it is situated in the plains here on Dantooine, it is of limited access, but I can get that for you..... I will wait here for your return..... While you are gone, you should think of which areas in the Force you would like to be taught in, I shall teach you the core elements, but it is your choice of instructions that will shape you to the Jedi you are to be for the rest of your life...... Also, while you are gone, I will acquire a training lightsaber for you....... I wish you luck getting to the Rebel Base Cordelia......" She smiled

"I shall think about what you said concerning the three areas of study for my Jedi Training. I will let you know what they are upon my return from the base. I look forward with great enthusiasm about our first lesson." Cory stated very quietly and she left the humble home of her master Sabria. As she quickly made her way back through thought of the areas of study and she knew there were several to select from. She even knew there were areas of study for the Dark Jedi but she didn't want to try and learn them. She shuddered at that thought.

She carefully made her way back through the caverns but had to stop several times as she became lost. Stopping just short of a drop off point she waited for a few moments. As she closed her eyes she thought she felt a physical tug at her to retrace her steps and then take a left at the corridor and not a right. Opening her eyes she nodded and retraced her steps. Finally after another fifteen minutes of walking she made it to the head of the cavern. As she put her goggles on again and pulled up her thermal coats hood she made her way back through the snowstorm. She took her time as she made her way across the terrain to where she had hidden FoxFire. Looking in front of her she saw her ship waiting for her return.

As she disabled the security system and lowered the platform, she finally walked aboard. She was a bit cold however but she was sure she would warm up once they found the hidden base. She couldn't tell Alena of it just yet. Once inside the docking hanger, she pushed a switch and the platform rose, sealing the ship shut. As she dusted the snow from her boots she squealed as Alena jumped up onto her back. She wasn't expecting the girl to come out of no where.

The two girl's fell to the ground laughing with each other. Alena smiled up at her sister who was covered in a layer of snow. "You look funny with that on. I missed you."

Cory smiled down at the girl. "I'm sure I do look funny but we need to go now. We are going to visit some friends. If you would please let me get up...?"

Alena giggled and got off Cory's back. She then rushed back over to the table where her master piece lay in front of her all colored in. "I have a gift for you..." she stated with glee. "Come here! I wanna show it to you!"

Cory smiled and laughed. "Hold on munch kin let me at least get this coat off."

When Cory had finally struggled out of the coat's firm grasp she shook her hair letting the snowflakes fall onto the floor before they melted into nothing. She walked over to Alena who stood grinning from ear to ear. As her eyes fell upon a beautiful portrait of the two of them her lower lip quivered. The drawing was beautiful and the girl did a very good job. The piece was so well drawn and colored in it looked as if she had been an artist all of her life. Maybe she could ask those in the hidden base about an art program to keep her occupied and not worry about her.

She kept that thought in her mind but what she was more concerned with was the three training paths she would have to choose while she trained to be a Jedi. She would have to look them up while she was at the base. Surely they had some manuscripts there but if not she could hack into the Jedi's former database, which she had come across before, and she figured it could be easy but then again it might be hard too. She knew the Jedi were very smart. Looking down at Alena she carefully ran her fingertips on the portrait. "That is the most beautiful piece of artwork I've seen in my entire life. Thank you very much Alena. It's very beautiful."

The young girl beamed from ear to ear. When Cory had finally warmed up she led Alena to the couch and sat down in front of her. She then hugged the girl and when Cory finally released her the girl looked up at her. "Alena...honey, I’m going to be going away for a while."

"Where too?" Alena asked as her blue eyes become large and filled with tears. "You aren’t leaving me are you?"

"No sweetheart, I’m not leaving you. You’ll be at a place where I know you’ll be safe from bad people. I’ll be just down the street. You see I’m going to train with a lady I met to become a powerful knight. You know like the knight in the story I told you the other night about him saving the princess from the evil queen?"

Alena nodded. "Yes I remember him so you’re going to be a knight in shinning armor?"

Cory laughed. "A knight yes but I don’t want to wear armor."

Alena laughed with Cory and hugged her. "Promise me one though Alena."

Alena looked up at Cory as she was nestled in her older sister’s arms. "What?"

"I’m going to ask you to stay with these people until I return but I want you to consider one thing. Considering I love your painting of the two of us so much I want to see if you are interested in one thing and that is painting all of the pretty pictures you can for me. Wouldn’t that be fun?"

Alena nodded but her eyes lowered to the couch. "Won’t I get to see you?"

"Of course you will. I’ll visit you. So if you could draw me the best pictures you can while I’m away, okay?"

Alena smiled. "Okay I’ll be a good girl. Don’t worry."

"I also want to ask you not to steal anything from anyone. They are nice people. Okay?"

Alena smiled. "I won't. I promise."

"Good...now let’s eat something and then we can go to the hidden base where these nice people are."

Alena nodded enthusiastically as she got up out of Cory’s arms and went over to the table to clean up the mess and disarray of papers, crayons, and markers. When she had cleaned all of them up and put them back into the proper resting place she washed the table off and sat down. Cory went to the refrigerator and pulled out a few sandwiches she had made just before she left earlier along with two cups, a jug of apple juice, and two apples. She sat down and handed a tuna fish sandwich and an apple to Alena who sat it on a paper towel. Cory then took her own sandwich and said a thank you to the spirits above. The two girl’s began eating quietly and in that silence Cory mused over what particular areas of the force she was to study with Sabria. The two girl’s finished their sandwiches and Cory started up the FoxFire’s engines. In no time they were in the air.

Zen had been in these same caves only a few weeks earlier, he had spent much time with his friend Joraan after finding his crystals, he was now mkaing his way to the entrance, he had taken a liking to the crystals and wanted more, who knows, he could come across a jedi who needed them.

As he walked into the cave he could see the rotten corpses of kinrath from his previous journey, as he walked further in he could see the glow from last time, he quickened his pace, Something moved behind him, there was a shadow....

As Zen spun arround, with his Virboblade in hand, nothing was there, "must of been the peerpers winding me up" he said to himself...

as he walked on more he could swear he heard sounds, like very faint foot steps following him, he went on to the main crystal cavern, he was shocked this time he was not attacked, only two small Kinrath resided there and they where not intrested in him, he looked at the crystals, last time he had picked up a purple crystal and a green one, He figured he could use some variety, "blue seems good" he said to himself, picking a peice from the formation of crystal, he moved onto the green formations a little further into the chamber, "I like green" He grinned to himself, his favourite color was indeed green, but he had no one arround and thought he would joke with himself.

He placed the two peices into his pouch, the egg piles form before where still there, a few of the egss open, probably fomr those little ones he saw earlier, as he began to walk away something behind him moved, he looked arround as all the eggs hatched together, "Uh-oh, they'll be hungry" he said, beginning to pick up pace, as he began to run the baby kinraths could here him and began pursuit, he ran faster holding onto the crystals in one hand and his blade in the other, as he could see the light form the entrance something blocked it, shadowing onto him was the form of some thing....

The figure walked forward until finally she revealed herself, lowering the hood of her cloak. It was a woman with braids in her hair. She seemed to be in her mid twenties and rather bewildered at why he was there.

"What are you doing here?.... You could get yourself killed in these caves...."

Olly2007 - October 7, 2007 12:02 AM (GMT)
"you know i could say the same to you, right?" he said sticking out his hand, "im here for these" He displayed the crystals, you know im being chased here, lots of baby kinraths.. you may wanna move".
He moved closer to the woman, grabbing her arm and dragging her out of the cave, he hoped the kinraths would not come out.

As he dragged her out of the cave he brushed agaisnt her, her cloak fell open revealing something... a hilt... a lightsaber hilt
"Y-Y-You're a J-Jedi!?" His Ithorian parents had praised the Jedi, they told him often of how 4000 years ago a great Jedi aided an ancestor on the planet Telos IV. The Ancestor being Chodo Habat, an Ithorian priest. The Ithorian preist where force sensetive, but only very very lightly they where not hunted by vader as they caused no threat.
Zen quickly thought, "Wait, you could be a dark jedi".

He was confused now, "Who are you?!?"

OOC: thanks for playing along lol

Ayanna Nyx - October 8, 2007 03:01 PM (GMT)
The young woman looked a little suspiciously to him.

"I'm not a Jedi.... I found this during one of my gatherings here.... This cave is filled with wonders..... I was.... Looking for someone here.... But it seems she is no longer here...... My name is Alia....."

She quickly removed her cloak and twisted it around her waist, underneath she wore a metal plated armour, elegantly designed.

"Baby Kinraths huh? Not a problem..." She sniggered a little as she held up a Kinrath scent gland, "These are pretty rare to come by... But here..... On the house...." She said as she threw one to him.

"Well common then.... The best crystals are in the deepest parts of the cave..... Don't trust your eyes.... There's a lot more to this cave than it seems..... People think they've explored it all.... They haven't...... Do you know the great chasm with the rock bridge crossing it? You should climb down there..... Some of the most unusual crystals and items I've ever seen...... Common, let's have a look...." She said as she began to lead the way.

Olly2007 - October 8, 2007 05:03 PM (GMT)
Zen followed, intregued by the woman, "Ive never seen this bridge? please lead the way". They went deeper into the cave, the ypassed through a small inner cave that Zen had never seen before, well had not noticed before.
"So, who are you miss Alia? You say your not a jedi or dark jedi but no one carries a lightsaber unless the ycan use it... and only the best can wield al ightsaber without jedi training".

"Oh it's only for show...." She said dismissing it, "Come, it's just through here....."

Finally they came to the large chasm with the shone bridge going over it.

"I know the other side of it looks interesting but trust me, it's not.... All you will find there are bones of people who got lost..... But down there..... That's where the business is!" She said, looking down into the seemingly never ending pit of darkness. She pulled some ropes that had been trapped around her back and began to tie it to one of the rocky pillars.

"Here, tie yourself a piece, and make sure it's tight! If you fall, it's not the ropes fault.... This is high quality stuff.... You could hang two banthas from one of these babies and it would still not give..... So make sure the rope is secured..... Then, we'll get going....."

She lit a few flares and threw them down into the pit. After a while, the echo of them clattering off the bottom lingered upwards. It looked nearly half a mile deep....

"You ready?" She said, waiting to jump from the side of the chasm with the rope attached to her.

Olly2007 - October 8, 2007 05:16 PM (GMT)
"im ready", he said, Zen enjoyed rock climbin, especially scaling the walls and cliff sides, the bit he enjoyed the msot was just dropping extremly fast for a good 5 seconds before stopping to kick from the wall again.

"So tell me why you here?"

Ayanna Nyx - October 8, 2007 05:34 PM (GMT)
"Hunting for treasures...... Isn't that why you are here also?" She said as she jumped off the side of the cliff and began to edge herself down, pushing her feet off the walls of the chasm, as she slowly began to descend into the darkness, with only the light of the flares at the bottom for guides.

Finally, her feet slammed off the ground of the chasm. It was eerily dark. She picked up one of the flares and through another to Zen.

"We'll keep that flare where it is, otherwise we could get lost here...... So..... Why are you here then?"

Olly2007 - October 8, 2007 05:40 PM (GMT)
"I've taken up history, mainly Jedi history, i wanted to find as many artifacts and thing from the jedi as i can, including lightsaber crystals, that way i have a varied collection of jedi pieces".

He sighed, "Im going to be honest with you, i hate the empire and the sith for what they have done, palpatine keeps his sith identity secret but i think its kinda obvious, they slaughtered the jedi, hunted them down, now there are none left, well veey few..."

He looked at his small crystal collection, "I was raisedo n Ithor, everything there is cherished, my ithorian parents told me many times of the jedi, how they saved the galaxy countless times, why would the empire do that to them, well its obvious, the mepire is sith conrtolled, i hate them for what they have done... they destroyed my heroes".
"well shall we get going?"

Ayanna Nyx - October 8, 2007 05:45 PM (GMT)
"You'll want to throw away those crystals when you see what this place has to offer, just around here......"

At first there was nothing to be seen, but then as they turned the corner, the entire chasm came alive with different crystals, every colour imaginable...... The collection was completely priceless.

"I have traveled the galaxy and this is still the best collection of crystals I have come across..... In the one spot at least..... Of course you can find high quality ones, but they are usually on their own.... But here there is enough to create a lightsaber of really high standard that's for sure......"

She looked to him with a raised eyebrow, "So you want to learn everything there is to know about the Jedi..... Ha.... Well you can rarely find ACCURATE information these days...... They are known now only as traitors to the Empire...... What nonsense....." She said with a hiss in her voice.

Olly2007 - October 8, 2007 05:54 PM (GMT)
"Sith spit!" he said in amazment, he instantly went for a strange green colour, a viridian crystal, he picked it up, "Oh my, theres so much here". He quickly grabbed an orange crystal, but then somehting caught his eye.
It was clear, you could practically see through it, Zen took a peice frmo it. "Wow what is this thing?"

"You say that stuff about the jedi like you know it for sure, like you have some first hand experience". He knew she was hiding somehting, he could tell form the way she was speaking.

Ayanna Nyx - October 10, 2007 03:04 PM (GMT)
Alia smiled a little, "Well, let's just say in another lifetime.... Perhaps I would have been.... But the Emperor saw a clean end to that...... I was..... I was a padawan when Order 66 was enforced..... My master was killed and I was left to fend for myself.... Though I was only 6 or 7 when it happened, I was smart enough to know never to speak a word of the Jedi again...... Now it no longer matters..... Almost everything I learned has gone....." She said as she looked away towards the crystals.

"The Jedi are all gone..... But I had heard rumours of one residing in this very cave.... I admit..... That is why I came here...... To see if it was true..... But yeah, then I came across you instead......" She said laughing a little.

Olly2007 - October 10, 2007 10:29 PM (GMT)
"You should not give up as a Jedi, just because your masters are gone does not mean your power in the force is, trust me, my father being an Ithorian priest meant he had a small connection to the force, and occasionly even he could lift something with his mind".

Zen took a sigh, looking at her lightsaber, "Your lightsaber, is it a training saber, or- or did it belong to your master?"

He felt sorry for the woman, he wished he had the power to do smoething, but he didnt, all he had was a bit of dumb luck form time to time when it came to finding and fixing things, otherwise he wasnt that good, "I bet there are more Jedi arruond than you think".
"Though im no Jedi or as far as i know, have no connection to the force, im willing to help ytou reach your jedi potential, hell maybe you could tell me what you remember help me on this little history project."

"Hell even if i cant do anything with it teach me what you know, let me help you carry on the jedi".

Ayanna Nyx - October 12, 2007 05:59 PM (GMT)
"This lightsaber was indeed my master's.... It's the only thing I have left from those days..... Everything else I had to leave behind..... Concerning continuing as a Jedi? My main focus today is survival... Though I admit I am interested in pursuing something..... That is why I came here to find the Jedi..... Of course, it could have just been a rumour..... But I have seen enough here to believe that a Jedi lived here..... And recently too..... Well..... I say a Jedi lived here..... I guess I can't prove that.... Only that someone has been living here..... But I can't think of any 'normal' person who would be able to survive living in a place like this...... Perhaps if we stay here long enough then we could come across something....... I'm not sure......."

She shook her head as though trying not to think too much about the past.

"Anyway, what crystals are you going to take.... I have to admit, I have already taken the best beauties...." She said with a slight grin, "But there are still some fantastic crystals left here..... You'd be best not to tell anyone about this place..... Otherwise the next time you come here..... It will be empty..... Leave the basic crystals up there to the simples..... These are for us......"

Olly2007 - October 12, 2007 09:24 PM (GMT)
"Alia" Zen said, "im sorry, for everything you've been through".
He quickly changed the subject.
"The crystals, ive always been a fan of Orange, so i took an orange one" he chuckeled, "Viridian, because the Jedi that is in my Ithorian family tale was said to have a Viridian coloured lightsaber, said to be the first the jedi had ever seen".
"But this one"... He pulled the clear one form his pouch, "I- I was just drawn to it, it seems to glow with power, a glow you cant see, its not a bad sense of power, its the kind of feeling of power from good" He looked at the Woman and smiled, "I think you should take it, add it to your lightsaber, it feels powerful, the force knows you could use it more than me".
He stuck his hand out to give her the crystal, "As for the secret, its safe with me".
