Looking down at the holomap, Diego wanted to make haste to get off Cloud City. He knew Alex was anxious to leave and he felt the same. Alex stood beside him in silence but her eyes were wary of every passerby who could possible steal their credits. Looking at the map Diego found the route he wanted which led back to where he had landed his ship, Hawkeye, only this way would be less crowded. He took Alex's hand and led her down a corridor and they were out of the general public's prying eyes.

However this way was much more dangerous. He pulled forth his blaster as he wrapped his arm around Alex's waist. The long alley was littered with trash, food, and many rats scurried around eating what they could. Large men who had nasty looks on their faces watched everyone who walked through their alley. Two men were fighting over a women who was in shackles against a wall. They both wielded very large swords and they were fighting like crazed animals. He leaned in close to her and whispered, "Don't say anything, keep your eyes on the ground, and follow my lead."

Alex merely nodded and let Diego do his job. She knew what dangers lurked here and she wasn't about to be some scumbag's next female companion or worse, slave. Diego had to stop several times as he pushed Alex against the wall and placed his face against her so they were touching cheeks. By doing this it made the two of them look like they were making out. All who saw the two of them quickly scurried away and kept their noses to themselves. Turning around to see the corridor was empty Diego led his partner out of this hellish place. Thankfully, the alleyway opened up and they were on the more civilized part of town. The docking station was directly in front of them.
