Hey all,

This is a notice to let you all know that we have submitted a request to update our forum to zetaboards. This will mean the entire forum will be reconfigured into a new forum style with many more options available to you all, which we are sure you will be happy about. This process could take anything from a few hours to a few weeks, and sadly we do not have a way of finding out how long this will take.

We should warn, that everything on the forum, every post, every member etc will be converted, but as of the moment that the true conversion process begins, any posts made AFTER then could be lost. Again this is difficult for us as even though the request has been sent, there is no way for us to know when the process truly does begin. This shouldn’t effect your posting habits but we thought it best to inform just incase any become aware of posts disappearing, and if that happens then we’re really sorry *points to zetaboard controllers* their fault lol

But we are very excited about this conversion, it will open up many opportunities for members and options. For us, one of the biggest opportunities lies in the usage of subforums , to which we were greatly limited under invisionfree, which prevented us from wanting to expand the forum, but now, subforums are almost limitless. Members will also have the opportunity to join member groups, create blogs, more customizing of member profiles, etc

And the great thing about zetaboards is that it is being updated all the time, more features are being added which will make the forum more user friendly and fun to explore. Invisionfree forums are growing old and not very well supported any more, which is one of the reasons we have decided to convert.

What we suggest you do NOW, is to save any information added to your profiles concerning your character, as this will likely be lost during the upgrade, not a guarantee but we would rather be safe than sorry.


Once conversion has been completed, the forum will remain offline for 24-48 hours, this is so we can set up all of the board rules, add the new skin, pictures and so forth, and we will do our best to have the forum back online as soon as possible.

UPDATE:


Just got this back from an Admin at zetaboards, so I don't think we need to worry about losing posts any time soon:

"We haven't released an estimate for the next batch of conversions. I would expect them to occur before the end of the year for sure, but I don't know if it will be closer to now or the end of December."
