Title: Rescue of the Jedi part II
Kalin Thalis - September 23, 2008 11:31 PM (GMT)
Kalin landed his ship, followed by the delta shuttles in the Dune sea. He managed to fly into the atmosphere without getting under the radar. The ships landed and were immediately abandoned. Kalin kept his hood up to hide his identity, luckily the Jedi respected that. For the moment they thought they were safe, but Kalin could already see danger ahread. A sandstorm was breaking up.
"We have to seek shelter, otherwise we won't survive here long?!"
Suddenly there was a large roar. A Krayt Dragon appeared out of the sand storm. It stepped with its large feet on two of the Jedi.
The Jedi attacked the beast from all directions cutting at its legs. Kalin wanted to use a Force Storm though that would immediately blow his cover. He had to admit to himself, in the presence of these Jedi he was weaker as he couldn't use his full potential.
The Jedi wounded the animal very badly, but it was still alive. Then Kalin jumped up to give out the final blow. He tried to keep his balance on its neck and climbed his way up to its neck. He punched down the hilt of his lightsaber above its head, waiting to ignite it so the Jedi wouldn't see its red blade. He ignited it and the beast fell brain-dead on the ground. For a moment the Jedi could swear they saw a red flash up there. Maybe it was just the reflection of the suns. They didn't know.
Kalin climbed down from the beast, looking at the other Jedi who all gave a sigh of relief.
"I suggest we cut off the skin of this thing and cover the shuttles with it, so they won't be found... The sand will take care of the rest...." Kalin said.
The Jedi nodded and got to work cutting with their lightsabers through the hard skin of the dragon. It was huge and heavy, but in the end they pulled it off and luckily the skin of this giant animal was large enough to cover all the shuttles. Kalin stood guard during while they were cutting off the skin, mainly because he couldn't help them with his lightsaber as his blade was red and he didn' want them to know.
Finally finished they turned off their lightsabers and Kalin said to them, "Nice work... Let's move out and look for shelter. I think we'll get contact with the other Jedi soon enough... I hope..."

After taking Amelia's advice and using her ship as well as the one that Qurhon had acquired, they all made their way to Tatooine. It was not a planet that any of them seemed overly confident to visit again as it was not the friendliest in it's environmental state. But for the sake of these Jedi who needed them, they were willing to make such a pilgrimage.
After following the coordinates that Kalin had given to Qurhon, they found themselves landing in the Dune Sea, noticing a large dark grey starship sitting in the midst of the whirls of sand.
Immediately upon getting out of the two ships, they walked over to where Kalin and the others were. Alluria felt nervous but she couldn't help but smile to see all of these Jedi who were waiting there to be saved.
"Kalin..... You're always full of surprises...." Alluria said half sarcastic, but a lot of it was meant as an apology.
Asané nudged Amelia, "Uh oh, battle stations..." She snickered as she feared a full out fight once again between those two.

Kalin ignored Alluria's comment. But he didn't want to be too impolite so he replied, "Hey, it's me..." He said sarcastically.
"Qurhon is that you?!" One of the Jedi said.
Qurhon nodded, "Yes it's me Master Thavon. I'm glad my friend found you." Qurhon said.
"Your friend is indeed full of surprises!" He said with joy. Oh It was hellish, but we found our way out of that planet Ryloth. But if it wasn't for your friend, we would be in the hands of the Emperor now.
Qurhon nodded to Kalin as a gesture of gratitude.
"He sure seems to be shy, he never takes his hood off. Is there something we're not suppose to know?! What's with the mystery?!" Thavon asked.
Qurhon responded in a mysterious manner, "He has his reasons, now we have to hurry." Qurhon insisted.
Qurhon asked after the counting the amount of Jedi they had to transport, "Hey Kalin, I thought you said there were 35 Jedi, I can only count 30... What's with the rest?!"
"Let me answer that..." Thavon responded, "Three of us died on Ryloth trying to escape and 2 died at the attack of a Krayt Dragon."
"A Krayt Dragon?!" Qurhon said raising his eyebrow, "You confronted a Krayt Dragon here... Of all the luck..."
"Well we did. The Jedi fought bravely, but we had some losses. They will always be remembered. And the Force will always be with them.
Qurhon lowered his head, thinking of the losses, but still he was happy this large group of Jedi could be saved.
"They are in your hands now, Qurhon. I really have to get back or they will become suspicious..."
"It's all right, Kalin, we'll take it from here..." Qurhon said with another nod.

Alluria didn't say anything more to Kalin, but she did wonder how he was going to get off the planet since they were leaving all three ships here to take the Jedi to safety.
"Thank you Kalin...." She said briefly before turning to Amelia and Asané to get down to business, "Well, if you take your ship, Qurhon will take the one that Kalin arrived in and I shall take Qurhon's..... If that makes any sense at all..." She said as she walked towards the ship, "We'll need to get moving and fast, this many Jedi in the one spot are not going to remain unnoticed forever.... What should we do Qurhon?...."
Asané rolled her eyes a little, "She's playing mother again!"
Amelia Rose Fitzwalter - September 24, 2008 04:21 PM (GMT)
"At least there were no battles between her and Kalin this time," Amelia chuckled, quietly. "I guess she's gotta make up for it somehow..."
Then she turned to Alluria and Qurhon. "With me and Asané piloting the Gualara, I can take roughly five or six other Jedi with me...no more than six though. Where shall we meet, and who's coming with me and...well basically... What's the plan, Stan?"
Realising what she'd just said, she blushed slightly. "Ah...sorry...I mean...what's the plan?"
