General Description: Jude has always been a bit of a maverick and has a talent for turning up wherever trouble's brewing. Although he is usually reluctant to get involved, he'll often find himself roped in one way or another.

Another talent of his is his rapidly changing emotions. He can switch from one emotion to another without warning, like the flick of a switch, and often it confuses those who don't know him too well...it even confuses those who DO know him well, sometimes.

Clothing: A modified black Imperial Officer's uniform (Lieutenant), with a dark cloak held at the neck by a silver chain. One black glove over his right hand and light shoulder armour, more for support of his damaged shoulder than for protection. Also black clawed vambraces on both arms.

History:

His father - Rodrick- was murdered by a bounty hunter when he was ten years old, because of his affiliation with known death stick dealers. Rumours surrounding his death suggested that Jabba the Hutt had been the one to hire the bounty hunter because he had angered the crime lord over his increasing demands with the dealers over prices and shipments. However, this has never been confirmed and several investigations into Rodrick's death were conducted, but no conclusion ever reached. Jude's family and the general population of Naboo have always denied that Rodrick had anything to do with these low-lives, and because there has never been any solid evidence, no-one can prove otherwise. Jude wishes that he had his sister's fortune of being too young to remember...but unfortunately he doesn't, and the image of his murdered father still haunts him at night, as he sleeps.

The day after his father's murder - 2 days after Amelia's very 1st birthday - their seven year old brother Kyle went missing, presumed dead after an outing with friends in Theed turned to tragedy and their borrowed transport mysteriously ended up in the lake. Again, rumours surrounded his disappearance, and once again suggested that Jabba the Hutt had been involved, and was targeting each of the family members, one at a time. Again, this was denied, and because no body has ever turned up, Kyle is still assumed to be alive - although after 23 years this is unlikely.

This just left Jude, his year old sister, and their mother Kendra. Amelia was happy and never made life hard for her mother and brother - somehow she understood the losses they had suffered, even if she was too young to remember them. Jude, himself, worked hard and completed his studies, before enrolling at the University of Theed under the protection services. He worked his way up steadily from being a Guard at the Palace of Theed, to being an Imperial Guard on one of their Star Destroyers.

When he was nineteen, his mother was fatally wounded by the same bounty hunter who killed his father - supporting the theory that someone was picking off their family, one by one.

After the passing of their mother, Jude became Amelia's carer - being ten years older, he could now be considered an adult, whereas Amelia was still a young child. The two grew up together, with Jude teaching his sister skills such as cooking, cleaning, and other basic skills that she would need later on in life. When she turned 20, Jude decided that she was now old enough to care for herself and left her their family house on Naboo, along with all his personal belongings. He was setting out to complete his duties as an Imperial Officer...duties that had been put on hold because of Amelia. Although she continually quizzed him about it, he refused to tell her anything about his job as an Imperial Officer and left one night when she was sleeping.
After three years as an officer, however, he quickly ascended the ranks, thanks to Vader's rather impatient way of firing those who failed him...usually those who failed him ended up with crushed windpipes and were either left for dead, or scared for life.

As he ascended the ranks, however, he saw just how corrupt the Empire had become, and wanted out. One night, he gathered his belongings and stole an Imperial shuttle, piloting it to the nearest planet, of Tatooine, where he burned any evidence of the stolen ship and set off into the desert, looking for another transport off this rock so that he could get back home to his sister, who he was missing dearly.

However, during his trek across a rather large stretch of the Dune Sea, he was ambushed by Tusken Raiders and barely escaped with his life. His shoulder was damaged, seemingly beyond repair, and his arm left hanging by a few muscles and ligaments. He forced himself onwards, towards a distant town, despite the massive blood loss, and the fact that his arm was a gruesome mess. As he reached the outskirts of Mos Eisley, he collapsed, but was found not long after by some Imperial Storm Troopers, who saw his Officer's Uniform, and unaware of his desertion, helped him. He was taken to a medical centre, where his shoulder was almost completely rebuilt using mechanics and cybernetics, though his arm was saved, meaning he didn't need a cybernetic replacement. Choosing not to have the more expensive 'invisible' replacement that would have made his mechanical shoulder look normal, Jude left the medical centre and set off back for Naboo again, making sure no-one knew where he was going, in case he was followed.

Back on Naboo, he purchased some shoulder armour, mostly to provide support to his still weakened shoulder, just until it could heal properly. Also aware that his hand had suffered from the repairs, and that his arm wasn't as strong as it should be, anymore, he bought a glove to wear, though he chose to keep his 'good' hand glove less whenever possible. He also bought some clawed vambraces which would aid him in hand to hand combat, seeing as he'd lost the strength in one arm.

Changing his attire slightly, so that he could blend in, but still use the officer's uniform as a disguise when he found himself in tight situations, Jude set out to look for his sister...
