A mandalorian hunter was studying a picture of the man he came to kill it was a light-skinned, black-haired man in his late twenties who went by the name Drake Garretson he was a Captain in the Imperial Navy and had recently taken an interest in Mandalorian ways and politics and according to the Highest Authority must be eliminated.

He started on to a walkway near the top of a cluster of skysrapers which were the most expensive apartments on the planet. He had searched the nearby nightclubs to see if he saw Drake at all but didn't.

That must mean he is in his apartment around here. That is strange considering captains don't make enough money to afford these exorbitant apartments either he is blackmailing somebody to give the place or he is working on the side... either way that is not good for his reputation. The only reason he is probably taking an interest in Mandalore is to save face and cover up this illicit business.

When he was walking near a gated entryway to an apartment of the shortest skyscraper he noticed two tall Imperial officials bidding farewell to each other, Scott hid in the shadows near the gate offered by the setting sun as the older grayish haired man opened the gate and entered an airtaxi.

The dark haired man then walked to the gate to close it, only to be thrown down by an uknown assailant.

When the man got up he saw that the attacker was a green and blue armored Mandalorian and said, "Ahhh I was wondering when they'd send the man to kill me it was only a matter of time."

"If you knew, why didn't you go off planet?" the helmeted man said.

"Because I am prepared for this confrontation." Drake said as he chuckled,"You honestly can't be foolish enough to think I got this high in rank and lasted this long just on being naive do you? I have my contacts and my training to rely upon."

"I don't see anything to justify your confidence." Scott said through his filtered helmet speaker.

Just then Drake drew one holdout blaster and a DH-17 blaster and held it toward the bounty hunter. "Your time is up."

Scott chuckled,"How absurd! The way I see it I am the one who should be talking considering I have so many weapons that you can't see I could just make a small move and you'd be dead, so do yourself a favor and tone down your confidence."

Scott let out an aura of extreme confidence to cover up his app-rehension that he can get the job done and get out alive.

"Incorrect, you should be the one to tone it down because if you didn't realize you are in the middle of the IMPERIAL Capital so if you kill me almost the whole Imperial Navy will come down upon you, just remember that if you survive that is." Drake said with a smirk.

"I will enjoy killing you more than I did anyone else or your friend, this is one kill my conscience won't have on me." Scott said cooly,"I suffer from every kill I make, it weighes on me and that is a reason I try to take as many live captures as possible. I am becoming something of a young alcoholic on Corellian Ale because of this job. Maybe I'll just do live captures, or just go to my old security job or one on Alderaan I don't know."

While he was talking Drake rolled his eyes and let his guard and gun down and this was the perfect opening.

Scott drew his blasters and shot Drake five times in the chest and reholstered his weapons. He walked over to the corpse to collect some value but when he flipped the man over he realized a thermal detonator was activated and about to blow and quickly dove away. When he got up all the weapons and the body were gone blown away.

What a waste Scott said as he got up and headed for the hangar to collect his fee on Mandalore.
