Title: Buying a droid

Kalin Thalis - April 10, 2008 01:08 PM (GMT)
Kalin and Ayanna walked into the shop and Kalin asked what kind of astromech droids, the seller had in stock. The droid-seller took them into the back and there was a big stock of them. From the R1 to the R5 series. But Kalin and Ayanna were specifially interested in an R2 series droid because of their relationship with R2-D2 in the past.

"No we don't want an R5, we want an R2."

"There is a large choice in R2-units here, sir."

Several droids were displayed, such as R2-C4, R2-K2, R2-D5. R2-D5 looked interesting as it had the same colour as Artoo, but maybe they were interested in something different.

"I'm not sure, Ayanna, what do you think?!"

Ayanna Nyx - April 10, 2008 01:18 PM (GMT)
Ayanna walked up to the red R2 unit, then crouching down to see it. She looked to it's number, seeing it was the one mentioned as R2-K2. She placed her hand on it's dome,

"Hey there, I'm Ayanna...." She smiled slightly, then the droid gave some quirky little beeps and bops.

"Would you like to come with us R2-K2?" She asked, knowing it was probably strange to ask it, because it was up to her and Kalin if they wanted it or not, the droid would have to do as it was told, but still she asked.

The droid gave a few positive responses, almost sounding excited.

Ayanna stood again and looked to Kalin, "This is the one...." She said smiling, "Kaytoo...."

Kalin Thalis - April 10, 2008 01:28 PM (GMT)
"Kaytoo? Sounds cool, ok we'll take him."

Kalin turned to the seller. "I think we've got ourselves a deal."

Kalin paid the man 5000 credits coming from both his and Ayanna's salary. The restriction bolt was taken off the droid and he cheerfully followed Kalin and Ayanna back outside.

"It's not going to be easy talking to him..." Kalin said.

Kaytoo made some funny sounds but now with the droid at their side they could finally leave for the Jedi temple.
