Title: Droids & Slaves

Buying droids & slaves is an option. Only when you buy one, it becomes your NPC, so you are not allowed to use it as a secondary character, meaning it can't travel on its own. Either it travels with you or it doesn't come with you at all. You are allowed to make the droid or the slave travel in short distances, meaning you can have them walking short distances like from Mos Eisley to Jabba's Palace and they can speak for you. But again they can't act on their own or for their own benefit. Selling slaves or droids is now allowed as a job. Only when you sell slaves or droids to NPC's you're not allowed to add that money to your salary. Only when active members buy either slaves or droids from you, you can add that money to your salary. The prices differ, depending on quality and their function. A Magnaguard droid is much more expensive as an astromech droid, as it is trained in combat and can fight in your place, with weapons you provide it with. Though the price depends on the age of the droid as magnaguard droids are no longer in production, though their successors will be more expensive namely the IG-88 series. If you have more questions, just ask.

I have one.

Since i'd still need to start up the story for Amaya again, what's the average price range for a slave? She's owned by Lewy's NPC at the moment, but last i heard he was a bit bogged down with work these days so i'd like to know just in case.

I would say depending on the slave they cost about 4,000 - 10,000

That's interesting to know, as I'd been toying around with a character concept for a couple of siblings who were sold into slavery and separated.
