History: F’nor was born in 18BBY on the planet Arkania. He was an outcast, a sub-race that the pure race instantly discarded. With rare black skin, upper and lower fangs, two slender horn nubs and eyes that were solid royal blue he was an oddity. As the group around him, including his parents, looked at him it was decided that he should be taken outside town and left to die.
Droid mechanic Balonat found him and took him in. Balo lived on the outskirts of Adascopolis, in a very large tent like hut. For the next three years Balo, who was Corellian, raised F’nor as his own son. When F’nor turned three Balo started instructing him in droid maintenance and for the next three years he helped maintain the shops and the house droids while Balo was working.
When he turned six his Father started teaching him how to repair droids and how to build basic droid models. Balo also spent this time teaching him to hunt in the wild and how to use both a blaster and a vibroblade. F’nor much preferred working with the droids however so he was proficient but barely average with his weapon skills. His time passed quickly during these years and it wasn’t until he was eight that he started noticing strange visitors who usually came at night and were gone by morning.
During his tenth year two things happened that would forever change his life.
The first was his construction of his first droid. He designed and created it himself. Now as his Master watched, he activated his two foot tall Arkanian Dragon droid. It came to life with barely any sound and flapping its wings, activated its repulsor lifts. As it floated a few feet above the table it chirped and beeped in binary, requesting orders. F’nor had given it an advanced security and engineering program to help him with his droid construction and repairs, and to help him hold off any threats with a built-in blaster pistol and small ion shocker. Now he gave it instructions to diagnose a security droid his Master was working on. After it flew over and preformed its diagnoses, it beeped and chirped some more than adjusted a few wires. Balo powered the broken droid on, and it whirled up fully functional. His Master was congratulating him when the next major event happened.
While they were busy with the droids, Storm Troopers and an Inquisitor had quietly entered their hut. They both sensed them too late. As Balo and F’nor turned drawing their blasters, his father was shot down. Not thinking about his actions, and fearing for his Father, F’nor blasted away and managed to cut down most the troopers. He then turned on the Inquisitor, who suddenly started choking F’nor with the Force. Calling to Arkay, he ordered it to attack. The ion shock distracted the man long enough for him to shoot the Inquisitor’s square in the chest. Then he ordered Arkay and the other droids to attack. Then he fled into the back escape tunnel and followed it to the private shuttle hanger of his father’s. Getting in the hidden, and highly modified, shuttle that belonged to his Master. He ordered the pilot droid to take off and avoid all Imperial ships. He also ordered it to make a jump to Corellia as soon as possible.
Over the next six years he jumped from planet to planet working on droids. He feared that the Inquisitors would eventually catch him, so he sold his Father‘s shuttle. He learned to repair small starships, construct and repair blasters. All his skills working on droids and ships allowed him to survive as he used them to barter passage safe havens to work from.
Now living in fear of the Empire, forced to hide in case Inquisitors come looking for him. He finds himself working in a slum of a place, he wasn’t sure of the name, fixing droids and having that feeling of needing to move on again.
RP Style (Example): (I'm using one from another character as I have already played it and would rather save an example for my first on board post. Please and Thank You :D . This is a conversation between my character and another PC that we rp'ed out before posting. Enjoy!)
After the meeting was over and people were heading out of the room, he thought now would be the best time to talk to Komae. Standing up and hurrying up to her, he lightly touches her arm near the elbow and says, "Might I have a moment? I would like to explain my actions from when we first met. I was extremely standoffish and would like to tell you why." His hand was shaking just faintly as he spoke and the look in his eyes was one of need and something else that wasn't easy to decipher.
Normal instinct for her would have been to pull her arm back but Komae found something in his eyes and the way his hand shook, something like pity for the man. She had no reason to feel that way yet she did. “If you wish.”
He felt the need to tell her something even though she had already forgiven him. “They will all leave soon.” Taking a seat again Komae waited patiently for the others to leave, even giving Lut a slight look to let her know she will be along shortly.
Finding a chair near hers, careful to leave a seat between them, he gratefully sat down and waited. Once the last person left the room he leaned forward and clasped his hands in front of him. Pausing for a moment to gather his thoughts, he started slowly, " I'm Corellian, and from a decent family, I tell you this so that you can understand why individuals took the actions they did." He looked at her and seeing he had her attention, continued at a more normal talking speed, " I went to the CorSec Academy just as my parents and I wanted me to. I excelled at pilot training and scouting and recon training, so I was placed in the specialized Scout and Recon program. When I was fifteen I met a girl my age, Feranna, and through the year we grew very close. Unfortunately, my grades were suffering, and as we were talking about her meeting my parents and sharing some very fond moments I was thinking of asking her to marry me when I graduated. That night was the last night I ever saw her. I was devastated and when I asked about her, I was told she had been transferred to another Academy, that I needed to refocus on my training. I did and graduated at the top of my class. However, I never forgot her." He looked at her, but instead of tears or hurt in his eyes, there was resignation again mixed with something else, as he continued once more, " I have feared getting close to women because of that, but have come to the conclusion that I can't hold on to her or to that fear. I can't let myself not be friends and get close to a women because someone or something might take her out of my life." He paused again and this time he looked at her without turning away, his emotion was plain on his face and in his posture as he softly said, " I want to get to know you, as friends of course. You are Jedi and I will always respect that, I would never ask anything of that would make you go against or choose between me and the Order. I think what I want is clear upon my face, but all I am asking for is friendship. I am an honorable man and will keep my word."He sat back and looked at her quietly. He honestly expected her to either get up and leave, never looking back or to calmly tell him that there was no way it would work. Jedi form no relationships at all. So he sat patiently and calmly waiting.
There was nothing for Komae to say. She let the man speak. She had done a slightly smaller and perhaps a weaker confession to Valen earlier. At least now she understood why he was as he was. What was disconcerting was his need to be her friend. In war friends don’t last long. Komae knew this very well. She worried for Lut almost every moment since they had first talked.
She respected Valen for his honesty, warmth and understanding, Cuthus for being everything she wanted to be and now Dainys with her pity. The problem was keeping them all alive. She could not have them all. Missions would end; they would be called elsewhere by the force. Perhaps even from the plain of the living.
There was no way to have what any normal person would want. A lasting relationship, friendship, partnership. No way for her to have what Dainys wanted. She smiled. “I did not see that coming. Kavar would be so disappointed.”
She hated dealing with these types of situations. Give her a battle or some trade negotiation not some man interested in a relationship. Thinking on how to best do this she found no way to say all she wanted too.
“I can offer you what I gave when we first met. Friendship. I am sorry for your Feranna. She may have left your school but she is still out there somewhere.”
It was obvious she was thinking about her response, which he saw as a good sign. While listening to her he kept his outward appearence calm, inward he was overjoyed that she chose to at least be his friend. It was the only fair thing to ask, anything else, especially a future love, would have been asking her to give up eveything she believed in. He couldn't, and would never, ask her to do that. Careful to keep a respectful distance between them, he said softly, " I am grateful and happy to hear that you are willing to be friends. I don't think anyone saw this coming, as feelings can be swift and decisive in their control. I will promise you this, I will never cross the line of friendship without your clear consent. I will also never let my feelings interfere with our friendship, your position as a Jedi or my duty as a soldier in service to the Republic. I will worry about you if you are in danger but I will trust in your abilities as a Jedi, just as I know you will trust in mine as a soldier." He waited a moment to see if she wanted to say anything else.
She tried to find comfort in his words but knowing to well how quickly words can fail and how quickly a person can die she forced a smile on her face. “You were chosen by Master Cuthus for a reason. He would only take the best. I trust him. I trust you. I hope to the force that will be enough for us all to survive this.”
Dainys nodded and standing up was pleased at the outcome of this conversation. " The Force is always strong with those who serve justice. I believe that is something a Jedi would say. As for me, the Force guides me but so does my training and skills. We have a good team and I'm positive we will all come back alive and well. I believe we both need to prepare so shall we carry on and work on this friendship after?" he said holding out his hand.
“That is a good idea.” She had a cold look in her eyes but she left with him none the less
Accepted, but you have to either change your age or your birth date as the time is now 2BBY, so if you were born in 17BBY, that means you are only 15 yet. Not a big detail, just a small adjustment. Welcome!
Ok, I looked and couldn't find an edit option. I will change the DOB to 18BBY to keep him 16. If someone could tell me how to edit a post once it's up I would appreciate it. Thanks
Syl
Edit: Hehe found it. I wasn't signed in  .
