Title: New Character Race & Planet
Description: Question concerning specifics

Hello. I am Michael but I go by Syvirci. My question is may I make a Arkanian from the planet Arkania? I have all the information filled out for a character but would like to play this race. If not then I will make him human from a world from the list of approved worlds. Thank you.

Sorry I thought I would add a little information. It is a droid repair specialist who is an outcast on his homeworld taken in by a Jedi in hiding. He learned about the force but the Inquisistors came and killed his Father/Teacher, so he used his training in droid repair to disappear and make a living.

Everything that you listed is granted, however we can't allow the scenario where you had some Jedi training. That would give you a too big advantage to the other members. None of the other members have been allowed to have any Force training. When it comes to training in the Force you are elected depending on your character, which profession he performs etc...

So may I use an Arkanian if I take out the Jedi training or should I use a human? Also if I want to make a character who is more likely to be trained in the Force would I give him force sensitivity? I mean would I have him be extremely lucky or unnaturally good at his profession showing his ability to use the force? I am not sure on what makes one worthy of being seleted for training on your site. If you could explain it to me that would help.
Thanks

Actually, no. To explain it in game terms, being Force Sensitive is kind of like a Prestige Class: When you're good (or bad) enough at what you normally do, you may be approached by the Jedi or Sith in a recruitment attempt. Until that time, no mention of Jedi, Sith or the Force as a whole may be made for any starting character, though it can of course still be a conversation topic in the RP itself.
Just keep in mind that Jedi are outlawed, and Sith are considered a myth. That pretty much sums up what everyone knows about them (apart from the actual Jedi and Sith themselves, of course) since both are keeping a VERY low profile for obvious reasons.
As for the Arkanian... I think Kalin just said you could, provided of course you don't abuse the natural abilities every other post of course ^^;

Ok last question before I post my character. I had created a little 2ft droid w/repulsors in the shape of an Arkanian Dragon (no it doesn't breath fire :P ) Can I have it and include it in the character application or create it after approval? Would a mini droid count as a second character? If I can't use it no worries but I created it because my character needed a sentry like droid with a weapon as he doesn't use any weapons.
Thanks

Well, you'll need to wait until you can purchase a droid, no one starts with one straight away. You start with no posessions, but when you save up credits you can buy a droid if needed, and it will not really be as a secondary character, it will always stay with your primary character.
