Title: Onderon

Kalin Thalis - February 25, 2008 01:36 AM (GMT)
While they traveled all the way to the Onderon system, Kalin still hadn't woken up. He still breathed and his heart started to beat faster, but he was unconscious for a long time now, which wasn't a good sign. Ventress and Ayanna were in the cockpit as she piloted the Thranta to land somewhere safe, where she hoped to meet an old 'friend' who might be able to help Kalin in his situation. Though Asajj Ventress had her doubts about all this. And she knew Ayanna was probably going to run away from him if he could be helped or not.

"Why are you doing this. Are you that afraid of what he's going to do, if he survives or wakes up? He's not a monster... As I was."

"There are worse people to fear than Kalin. If Kalin doesn't return or doesn't leave any news, then Vader is going to look for him, which might mean the end for him. Are you just going to leave him to his fate? I can't believe you would, Ayanna..."

Ayanna Nyx - February 25, 2008 02:02 AM (GMT)
She shook her head, "No.... No I won't let that happen to him..... I was rash to say I would run off as I said I would.... Maybe I will leave, once things have calmed down..... I owe him that..... I'll make sure no harm comes to him...... Even if I have to do that from afar...... I just feel so ashamed...... Of my mother..... I didn't know what kind of woman she was when she died.... It was only through time that I began to realize more and more the kind of person she had been.... Then learning more through Li and such..... Only made it worse..... But now this...... I can't bare it...... We'll never be the same after this..... Not that we were anything but..... He saved my life.... So many times..... And for what..... The daughter of the woman who killed his mother...... I have carried all of Adanna's crimes..... She paid for one..... I must pay for them all..." She said saddened as the ship finally came out of Hyperspace. She landed the ship in the city of Iziz, "His name is Rell Dinoa..... He and my mother worked together a long time ago..... I'm going to send for him using my mother's transmission code..... He'll think it's her but it's the only guarantee he'll show up...." She said as she sent out the signal. She then walked out of the ship, waiting at the bottom of the ramp, and sure enough, within the hour, a man in his early 40s arrived on the scene. He looked as though he had ran the whole way.

He stopped for a minute as he looked at Ayanna, as though he were baffled, "You're...... You're not Adanna......" He said with a serious expression, that then suddenly broke into a smile, "Little Anya?! Is that you..." He said as he neared her.

She gave a fake smile, "Hello Rell.... I'm sorry I used my mother's code but I really need your help, right now and no question's asked please....." She said seriously to him.

"Well alright.... What's your problem?...." He asked.

She led him into the Thranta, taking him to Kalin where she explained exactly what had happened.

"Right, we'll have to take him back to my medical facility.... I have a private area..... Something tells me you want this to be off record huh?...." He said as he looked to her, but she did not answer, "Uh huh.... Just like your mother...."

That comment normally would not bother her so much but in this case it certainly did. They were able to take Kalin further into Iziz, securing the safety of the Thranta as they left. Kalin was then hooked up to a life support machine and given all the adequate serums and medicines that would hopefully help.

"Okay that body got a serious bold of electricity through him.... What have you been up to?... Tell him he's to stay away from any main power sources when he has an arm like that!" He lectured her a little.

"Is he going to be alright?!" She asked concerned.

"Well it really depends on him... He's comatose right now.... So we just need to give him time and keep an eye on him... Don't worry it's safe here....." He assured her.

Kalin Thalis - February 25, 2008 02:38 AM (GMT)
Kalin seemed to have some nerve reactions as he strained his eyes or flinched his neck. It was maybe a good sign as it showed he was clearly alive, though there was nothing what could have caused this.

"Is this an after effect from what happened to him? He did get a large amount of electricity through him" Asajj asked the medic.

"No, normally the serums should work... I gave him something to avoid such reactions. The effect of the electricity should have been gone by now..."

"Well what does it mean?" She asked again.

"I'm not sure. Let me get the new readings from the terminal. It should show me more of his brain activity." The medic said as he rushed to the terminal. He studied it, but he couldn't make out what was happening. "This is a bit disturbing. This isn't some after effect and if it continues like this... Well who knows what would happen... I've never seen anything like this."

Suddenly Kalin opened his eyes clenching his teeth. As they watched him his eyes had turned to fire, which shocked the medic, though Asajj Ventress already had seen them before.

"Those are... Um... Well it's unusual isn't it?" Asajj said innocent as she did not want to reveal anything about the Sith.

She whispered to Ayanna, "Something else is going on with Kalin. I don't know what it is, but I saw his eyes burning. It's a typical Sith trait that only a few of the Sith had. Only the true Sith which let themselves consumed by the Dark Side had such eyes. Call it a side effect from becoming a Sith. I just know it's not good. Not even I was ever so consumed by the Dark Side, not even Dooku was!"

Ayanna Nyx - February 25, 2008 02:43 AM (GMT)
All Ayanna could do was look to Kalin with sorry eyes, she didn't know what to do, and she felt it was somehow all her fault that this had happened. He had always been one to walk the balance between both the light and the dark, and now this sign showed that things could be changing with him, "It's all my fault....." She said as she bit on her finger, "When he wakens he's going to kill me..... Then maybe worse.... He may hurt others also....." She said as she began to think it through, "Remus-Qui...... Kalin always respected him.... That's where he said he learned mostly from..... Perhaps if I try to contact him alone and ask him to come to Onderon to help him....." She said as she looked to Asajj for her opinion.

Kalin Thalis - February 25, 2008 03:07 AM (GMT)
Asajj Ventress seemed a bit skeptical about contacting this man.

"Are you sure we can trust this man?!" She said in doubt, "I mean... If he truly is a man of balance, then who knows how he'll react if he sees how Kalin has changed? I'm not sure it's permenant, but most who walked the Dark Path so far as this, never returned."

"Anyway, if you are going to bring this man here to Onderon, then I think it's time to leave. Don't worry, I won't leave the planet. And I'll stay close, but I can't permit myself to be seen with you two! And that is for all our sakes. My reputation is well known, and no doubt this Remus-Qui knows it, so if he sees me at your sight, who knows what he'll think. No, he'll surely think you only walk the dark path if he sees me at your side."

Ayanna Nyx - February 25, 2008 03:15 AM (GMT)
She nodded, "Alright, but I'm sorry I don't have a choice... There's no one else I can turn to.... He was Kalin's master.... He's our only hope...." She said as she wandered off to make contact with Remus-Qui. She sighed a little before she opened the transmission,

"Remus-Qui, this is Ayanna Nyx.... I'm in desperate need of your help..... Kalin has been seriously hurt, and I fear he may be walking into a dark path.... Something has changed in him...... I'm too afraid to report any of this to Vader, as I feel it will not give Kalin the help he truly needs..... You were his master.... He always respected you.... So it is you that I come to now in my most desperate hour..... I'm sending you our coordinates.... You must find a way to get here as soon as possible, but please try to keep this just between us for now..... This is our most desperate hour..... Help me Remus-Qui.... You're my only hope....." She finished her message as she sighed once again. She knew it was dangerous sending such a message but she didn't care anylong what would happen to her, she only cared about Kalin's safety. She made her way back to the medical facility. She had given Remus-Qui the exact coordinates so he would likely show up right at the front foor. She sat outside the observation room where Kalin lay, a pale of glass between them. She was too afraid to go closer and yet didn't want to leave either. She lowered her head into her hands, and could barely stop crying.

Kalin Thalis - February 25, 2008 03:49 AM (GMT)
Hours passed after Asajj Ventress had left the facility and Ayanna was waiting for Remus-Qui to arrive. Suddenly somebody bashed on the metal entrance.

"Somebody is here!" The medic said as he rushed to the security cameras, "Look! Is it someone you know?!"

"Yes! It's Remus-Qui! Open the door!" Ayanna said.

The door opened and Remus immediately saw Ayanna, but to his right he saw Kalin laying down... He didn't move at all.

"Alright Ayanna, I came as fast as I could, but you'll have to tell me everything what happened."

If Ayanna wanted his help, he expected her full honesty. But could Ayanna do that? Could she tell everything that had happened. Asajj Ventress adviced her not to...

Ayanna Nyx - February 25, 2008 03:53 AM (GMT)
"Something happened, he found out something concerning his past that deeply disturbed him.... Someone informed us that well.... My mother was actually the one who killed his own mother..... I didn't know prior to it but when it was revealed.... I just knew it was true..... Kalin went insane.... He.... He choked me.... I don't know much of what happened after that but he used Force Lightning on himself..... I brought him here to help him get treatment from Rell, he's a friend of my late mother...... But when his eyes opened earlier they...... They burned like fire..... Like the eyes of a Sith......" She said concerned and clearly she was deeply shaken about the whole thing, "Please..... You have to help him.... I'm useless to home now....."

Kalin Thalis - February 25, 2008 04:00 AM (GMT)
"I'm not sure what I can do in this situation, Ayanna... If he is so far down the Dark Path, he could be beyond saving."

Remus walked over to Kalin and closed his eyes,

"Maybe if I merged my mind with his... Though that would be dangerous... For now I'll only try to heal him with the Force... Maybe he'll wake up then..."

Again Remus closed his eyes and concentrated on Kalin's body holding his hands above his chest as a light appeared.

"He seems to be alright. His body seems to function normally. It's something in his mind that is.... Not normal. I feel a presence that isn't Kalin's."

He turned back to Ayanna,

"It's like there is another spirit inside his mind. Another soul that uses Kalin's body as a host. I know that sounds crazy, but I've heard of this theory before. 'Force spirits'. Souls that return from the living force. Darth Plagueis was the one who invented this theory. But no Sith has succeeded in this. But it seems there is another soul in Kalin's body which did succeed to return from the living force."

Ayanna Nyx - February 25, 2008 04:08 AM (GMT)
Ayanna was scared to hear this news, and even more scared of the consequences of this, "Well.... What can we do? Is there a way to stop it? Get rid of it?" She asked though she felt she already knew the answer to this, "How could this have happened?" She began to think of Asajj Ventress, even though she had been seen as trustworthy, was she indeed? Was it a coincidence that it all happened when she arrived? And it was her who told Kalin about her mother killing his, but she waited to see what Remus-Qui had to say firstly.

Kalin Thalis - February 25, 2008 04:15 AM (GMT)
"No, this is beyond my knowledge... I'm afraid I can't do anything about this, we can only hope he wakes up. And when he does. We can only hope it's Kalin himself. This is a battle Kalin has to win... In his mind."

Remus-Qui felt pretty frustrated about all this. Kalin was his most beloved acolyte and he didn't want to lose him just like that, cause he already felt he did.

"You're holding something back from me, Ayanna! You haven't told me the full truth yet. Tell me what it is!"

Ayanna Nyx - February 25, 2008 04:22 AM (GMT)
She closed her eyes for a moment before blurting it out, she knew it could mean that she would be killed, and perhaps Kalin too but if there was a chance that this knowledge could save him then she was going to take it, "Master...... it was Kalin and I who destroyed part of the Academy..... We took Asajj Ventress prisoner..... She had told him something about the Son of the Suns, he became convinced that he was him..... And that there had been others, that's what we have been doing..... Asajj Ventress has been helping us.... Li attacked us and nearly killed me.... It's just..... Just a big mess...." She said worried that she'd be killed right there and then.

Kalin Thalis - February 25, 2008 04:35 AM (GMT)
Remus-Qui couldn't believe what he was hearing. He believed in logic and common sense, not in ancient prophecies.

"I can't believe Kalin bought this nonsense! I thought I trained him better than this. And you were speaking about Asajj Ventress? This is worse than I thought! Trusting such a dangerous person." He sighed, "Really has he not learned anything from my teachings at all?!"

"Anyway, we can't leave him here on Onderon. But we can't take him to Korriban either. We need to find a better facility than this! No offense, doctor! But we have to transport him where he is under constant surveillance. Who knows what would happen if he woke up and it isn't who we hope it is. We can't allow that this man becomes a victim from your and Kalin's mistakes, Ayanna!"

Ayanna Nyx - February 25, 2008 04:38 AM (GMT)
She couldn't stop a few tears from falling from her eyes as the guilt swelled inside her more, "I'm sorry..... I didn't know what else to do.... At least I am being honest to you now.... Maybe it's too late but better late than never...... Please..... Where should we take him......." She pleaded with him as she had no idea in this matter. Usuing Rell for help was a last order in her mind, she knew of no other places freely that he would be safe to go to.

Kalin Thalis - February 25, 2008 03:06 PM (GMT)
"I'm not sure. I still have some friend on Alderaan who could help me out. Though they only know me to be a Jedi. That is why I still have some contacts with them. Their medical facilities should be advanced enough to help Kalin out, but we have to hurry."

Remus took Kalin in his arms, but with all the armour he wore, he wasn't light to carry.

"By the Force, he should eat far less, he almost ways a ton!" Remus said exaggerating. He took him back into his own ship.

"Will you pilot the Thranta, follow me on my coordinates and try to reach the planet as fast as you can."

In secret Asajj Ventress already had sneaked on board the Thranta where she was hiding in the cargo hold. When she heard in the distance Remus wasn't coming on board, she thought it would be a good opportunity to consult about what would happen afterwards.

Ayanna Nyx - February 25, 2008 03:21 PM (GMT)
Ayanna followed Remus' advice, setting in the coordinates of Alderaan, though she could not deny to herself that the thought of running away now would be a far easier thing to do, but she would not do it. Unaware that Asajj had entered the Thranta, Ayanna simply sat back, worried and consumed. She did not know what was going to happen now, even Remus seemed uncertain, but for now all she could do was wait.

Kalin Thalis - February 25, 2008 03:27 PM (GMT)
Still in hyperspace Remus looked after Kalin and tried to read his mind as best as he could. Something else must have happened, while he used force lightning on himself. His theory of Force spirits was not fully proved, but it could maybe explain why Kalin wanted to choke Ayanna. Maybe it wasn't Kalin at all. Maybe there was 'someting' or 'someone' else controlling him to do so.

Inside the Thranta, Ayanna kept thinking about everything that had happened and Kalin. Then Asajj Ventress appeared in the cockpit and suddenly announced her presence as she said: "Hehe, do you mind if I drop in?"

Ayanna Nyx - February 25, 2008 03:32 PM (GMT)
"Asajj?!" She said a little shocked, "What are you doing here? You know we are following Remus-Qui to Alderaan..... He..... He knows we helped you..... I'm sorry but he knew I was hiding something..... And I couldn't risk keeping any kind of information from him that could maybe help him save Kalin..... I know you'll feel betrayed by me.... But I'm sorry..... I didn't have a choice...." She said feeling ashamed of herself.

Kalin Thalis - February 25, 2008 03:47 PM (GMT)
"Don't worry about it, Ayanna. There's little Remus can do to me now anyway. If he betrays me and claims I'm still on Onderon, then he's sadly mistaken. But you can't tell him I've come along in the Thranta."

Ventress sat in the cockpit talking further with Ayanna while Remus knew it was time to get out of hyperspace. They were getting closer to Alderaan so he turned off the hyperdrive and stopped right above the planet, but waited for Ayanna's ship to appear before he would make his final landing to the planet. There he hoped to finally find the help he needed to save Kalin, though he though it was unlikely as he had never seen something like this before.

Kalin Thalis - September 7, 2008 04:28 PM (GMT)
The shuttle landed on one of the platforms in the capital. The Jedi departed from it looking at the glorious city. Onderon was a monarchy. There was a beautiful palace right inside the city. Though ruled by a King and a Queen, Onderon had no choice but to serve the Empire. Though many know of Jedi who look for refuge on Onderon. While walking through the city, Qurhon looked at the palace. He asked his companions, "Any idea where you would like to go. I believe there's a cantina in the neighbourhood, I could surely use a drink" He said with a smile. "Getting the taste back of Jawa juice... It's been such a long time since I had a proper drink!"

Amelia Rose Fitzwalter - September 7, 2008 04:36 PM (GMT)
"I never liked Jawa Juice," Amelia grinned as she walked beside him. "I always preferred blue milk...or on the odd occasion fizzade...though I only really drank that when I was on Coruscant. You ever tried it? Quite refreshing, actually..."

Then she looked about.

"This place is beautiful...very like Naboo...and yet in a way nothing like it at all. I wonder if the Palace is similar?"

Ayanna Nyx - September 7, 2008 04:46 PM (GMT)
"The palace is beautiful, the Queen here was once a handmaiden in the court of Naboo, though this was her native world. There are certainly a few people I think you should meet while you are here, one in particular. But we can come to that once at a time. Qurhon if you would like to go to a cantina then it's fine with me. Later we can all go to the palace, I know a secret way in, the Queen here is extremely lenient with concerns of Jedi. She has been most helpful." She smiled, semi-glad but semi-worried to be back on the planet again.

Kalin Thalis - September 7, 2008 04:54 PM (GMT)
Qurhon nodded and after just a few minutes of walking they found the cantina. Inside they ordered their drinks but Qurhon requested to keep their voices down.
"Well I do know a few Jedi here. You know I've traveled a lot searching for Kalin. There is one Jedi who had a strange experience with him. Anyway let's not dwell on that subject anymore. My point is that if we need help from Jedi, I think I can easily find them."
Qurhon took a zip from his drink,
"The Queen also has been very helpful giving refuge to Jedi even risking her own life in doing so. She could have lost her throne, her life if the Empire found out."

Amelia Rose Fitzwalter - September 7, 2008 04:59 PM (GMT)
"I know that feeling," Amelia muttered. "It's like that on Naboo...though Kylantha's a little reluctant when it comes to the Jedi...but I know that's only because she's afraid. And for good reason. Her heart's in the right place though."

She glanced around, feeling a little uncomfortable talking so openly about Jedi in a place like this, even though their voices were low.

"So this Queen...who is she? Do you think she'd be able to help us?" she asked curiously after a moment. "If she was once a handmaiden on Naboo, I'd very much like to meet her, anyway..."

Ayanna Nyx - September 7, 2008 05:12 PM (GMT)
"Her name is Queen Ardria, she has been very careful in concerns with connections with the Empire. Of course she can not seem to be hesitant, but she does not accept their full 'protection'. She has allowed many Jedi to escape from here and even live within the hidden underground floors of the palace. She will certainly help us in any way she can. We will go to see her as soon as we can, like I said we must be cautious, there is a secret entrance for stranded Jedi." She said quietly so that only her, Amelia and Qurhon could hear her words in the midst of the cantina.

A buzzing sound came from Amelia's comlink that Ayanna had given her,

"Hey Amelia, not sure when you're going to get this. Just wondering how you're doing and more importantly if you actually got out on Alderaan ok? I bet you did but still, always good to know. I'm sorry that each time we meet it's under stressed circumstances, one day I'm sure it won't be like that, at least I hope so. Anyway, hope to hear from you ok? See ya...."

The transmission ended.

Kalin Thalis - September 7, 2008 06:35 PM (GMT)
Qurhon ignored what Alluria said and thougth about the comlink, He was doubting if Amelia should make any transmissions back. Even though his confidence in Kalin had increased by a long shot, he didn't have his complete trust yet. He was still Sith even though only in name as he claimed,
"Hmm, well I'm not going to tell you what to do, Amelia. But here's my adice. IF you are going to answer that, I would be honest and tell them we got off Alderaan safely with no problems. Stay polite and yeah you can even tell her that we did as Kalin requested and met Obi-Wan kenobi, however I wouldn't say anything about our current whereabouts. It's the only way to be sure.... To be safe."

Amelia Rose Fitzwalter - September 7, 2008 06:42 PM (GMT)
"I know," Amelia nodded, looking about. Did she send the message now? Or did she go outside where it was quieter so that Ayanna would be able to hear better? If she chose the latter, however, others might overhear.

In the end she replied to the message where she was, then looked back to the others.

"Done," she said as she put it away in her pocket. "So, ah, what now?"

Ayanna Nyx - September 7, 2008 07:06 PM (GMT)
Ayanna transmitted back to Amelia,

"Oh sure we're fine, having eh.... Fun I guess.... Kalin said that if you're on Tatooine that it's best not to hang around there cause the Imperials are tightening their security. Just saying. Well anyway, I'll let you go, I'm sure you're busy with your training, if you need any advice just give me a call. I'm also learning so I can drop you a few pointers if you like, wouldn't mind a few from you as well. Right, I'll be odd, take care and say hi to the others from us. May the Force be with you...."

The transmission ended again with Alluria feeling a little uncomfortable about what was said, "Are they trying to pin point where we are? I don't know, sometimes they confuse me. Anyway, we have things we should be doing, don't you agree Qurhon? I'd like to speak with the Queen as soon as possible."

Kalin Thalis - September 7, 2008 07:17 PM (GMT)
Qurhon wondered about a few things that was being said.
"Well again why did he warn us about Tatooine. Was that a real warning or a fake one to gain our trust." He sighed, "After all this time I don't know anymore. And yeah in case you do exchange some advice concerning your training. Beware that she's Sith... Well from a certain point of view. Anyway don't let her say anything concerning the Dark Side. Other than that I have no problem that you take advice from her or give advice back."

Qurhon emptied his drink and stood up,
"I agree with your master, though. We should be heading to the palace."

Amelia Rose Fitzwalter - September 7, 2008 07:23 PM (GMT)
Amelia finished her own drink, although it was one she'd never had before and couldn't actually remember the name of. Though that was probably a good thing as it wasn't really that nice.

"Ok...lets go then...if you're ready? I'll let you guys lead the way, as you probably know where you're going."

She stood, too and smoothed out a few creases from her cloak, waiting for one of the others to make the first move and lead the way.

Ayanna Nyx - September 7, 2008 09:12 PM (GMT)
Alluria led them towards the direction of the palace. Though the palace was not as grand as the one of Naboo, it still had it's beauty to it, and like the one of Theed, it was thousands of years old, though Alluria was aware of the modifications which would allow them to sneak into the palace without anyone else detecting them.

"Come this way, the Queen will know when we arrive and rid herself of any company that she may have. Then we will be able to speak with her." She said as she was slowly gliding her fingers off the wall of the palace. There seemed to be no visible way of getting in from the outside at least, but eventually Alluria stopped herself at one point, "This is it...." She said, then getting her lightsaber and stabbing it into the wall, though it did not burn or melt it, but instead the cracks of the golden steal building began to open up.

As they entered the underground passageways, the secret entrance closed behind them, and for a moment they were in complete darkness. Though it was not long before the lights finally switched on one by one, leading the way to the Throne Room. They reached a dead end after a decent fifteen minute walk, and that is where they stood and waited, "The Queen must indeed have visitors, so we'll need to wait here until it is finished. She will know that we are here, and this door will open when the coast is clear. I'm always very grateful of the security measures the Queen is willing to go through for the Jedi. It is a very rare thing, but that is why it must be kept secret. I think if even Kalin found out about this then he would feel forced to inform the Empire of her leanings. And that would be the last thing that I would want...."

After a few more minutes of waiting, the doors finally opened to reveal the enormous Throne Room. It had the feeling of a giant golden temple instead of a royal household. Alluria walked with both Qurhon and Amelia towards the Queen before bowing.

"Queen Ardria, I know it has not been long since my last visit but I assure you it is important. This is Qurhon Vos, also a Jedi Knight, and this is my padawan Amelia Fitzwalter. It is thanks to your help that I was able to find her again."

The Queen smiled as she walked to them, "Well you are all welcome of course. I'm glad that we were able to help you Alluria, to find your padawan. Though it was really through Leinia's help."

Alluria sighed, "Yes, your majesty, is she still here in the palace?"

"Of course, she is still in my service, this was the safest place for her after what had happened." The Queen nodded.

"Could you ask her to come to the Throne Room please? It's important." She said with a somber voice.

"Of course..." The Queen said before ordering for the girl to be brought.

Alluria turned to Amelia, "Now you'll be able to rest those demons you carried ever since Mandalore, I'm sorry I had to keep this from you for so long, but it was important, not only for you but for her."

After a few moments, one of the loyal servants of the Royal House of Onderon was brought by the command of the Queen. Someone who had hidden within the ranks she was familiar with while she could continue her training in secret. It was Asané.

Immediately, she saw Amelia's face and could hardly believe her eyes. The last time was on Mandalore, so many months ago, "Amelia?!!" She said shocked and surprised.

Alluria gave a little smile, as she was glad that now the truth was revealed. That Asané had been hiding on Onderon to protect her and also Amelia from the wrath of the Mandalorians. She did it to protect her friend and also that of the Jedi that would have also been betrayed.

Kalin Thalis - September 7, 2008 09:40 PM (GMT)
Qurhon too was happy for Amelia to see Asané again, a person she presumed to be killed by the Mandalorians. Though he did not agree with one thing Alluria said. If Kalin knew about the Queen protecting Jedi, he would not report it. So he thought, after all, he did not report the location of the Rebel Alliance. He wasn't sure on the subject but that didn't matter. He just dwelled too much on Kalin. He knew he was still too worried about him. Qurhon bowed to the Queen and to Asané, "It is my honour to meet you finally. And you Asané, it's always nice to meet a fellow Jedi. I presume you are happy to see Amelia back finally after all those months?"

Amelia Rose Fitzwalter - September 7, 2008 09:49 PM (GMT)
For what seemed like an eternity, Amelia just stared at the woman she had believe, for so long, had been dead. She completely ignored Qurhon's words...didn't hear them, even.

"But...but...I saw you die..." she gasped at last, her voice suddenly cracked and barely a whisper. "I...I had to...I thought..."

Tears stung her eyes as she looked upon her best friend...a friend she'd believed to be dead for so long. And then she was running...not caring who was watching or who she was in the presence of. She was running towards Asané. and then she was hugging her like a long lost sister, never wishing to let her go, in case she lost her again.

"Oh god...I thought I'd lost you..." she sobbed as she held her friend close. "I grieved for you! I even gave you a bloody funeral! And all this time you were alive, you sneaky cow!" This last part was said with a smile through the tears though...showing that even at a time like this, Amelia still somehow found the time to joke about.

Eventually she stepped back and let Asané. go...suddenly becoming aware for the first time since her friend's appearance that they weren't alone in the room.

Asané laughed but also cried slightly as she hugged her friend again, "I'm so sorry Amelia, I'm so sorry. There was no choice.... I was captured by them, they held me there for days and they were beginning to track down my identity, my real identity. But then, the Jedi came and took me, they rescued me but told me I could never return to Naboo again. And I wasn't allowed to contact you in case you were being monitored, watched. It would have brought you into danger too. So I asked to come here, somewhere where I felt almost at home, not quite but almost. And of course now you know my name isn't really Asané, it's Leinia. But I don't mind being called Asané, not at all." She smiled, "It reminds me of happier days. Things have been so troubled, but my training was completed at last. When I had a chance encounter with Master Alluria, I told her about you. I knew you would be more reluctant to trust a stranger but I thought if she dropped my name then perhaps you would. I really hoped you would take her offer to come a Jedi, and you have! I'm so glad." She said breaming with happiness.

"It is just as much I that should be sorry Amelia for keeping the truth from you, but I knew that if you took the path of the Jedi then you would be able to see her again. If you hadn't, then sadly she would have remained dead to you." Alluria said with a somber tone.

The Queen also seemed to be happy with the reuniting of old friends on all sides, "Master Vos, your reputation proceeds you, Master Starfire has already spoken very highly of you."

Kalin Thalis - September 7, 2008 10:09 PM (GMT)
"With all due respect, your higness, but what reputation would that be?" Qurhon joked. He didn't really think high of himself. Wasn't really in the nature of a Jedi to think so anyway.
"I mean I'm pretty much a rogue. For years I've been hunting down this man who killed our kind. And now I've finally settled down and hope to take Master Alluria's example and take a Padawan of my own when the opportunity presents itself of course."
Qurhon looked to Amelia and smiled,
"Master Alluria should feel very lucky with Amellia, she's a promissing student and no doubt she will once be a great Jedi Knight. I only managed to train one Padawan which for my age isn't such an accomplishment, but that is because as I said I was too busy hunting down this man... This threat, which luckily now has ended." Though that wasn't a fact that was more what Qurhon hoped.
"So the Jedi should feel a little more safer and therefor I am happy. With what we three experienced the last days I think we are indeed looking at a brighter future, despite how dark and somber it might seem now. We recently had contact with a Jedi who you no doubt may know, namely Obi-Wan Kenobi. I think that after talking to him, my heart feels more at peace now. Though I will only find truly peace once this war will end and when the Sith are no more..."

Amelia Rose Fitzwalter - September 7, 2008 10:17 PM (GMT)
"I found my peace about five minutes ago," Amelia muttered to Asané , grinning at her friend. "I was in such a rage after I escaped...I don't know what came over me...and thinking back on it, it scares me to think of what I was like. And the burden I've had to bear ever since...I'm just so relieved you're alive...I really thought you were dead! Oh...and by the way...I believe this is yours..." She pulled out the pendant that had contained the lightsaber crystal.

"After your 'death' I kept it...I couldn't bring myself to burn it with all your other stuff...but it was never mine to keep...it's still rightfully yours. So is the little item inside it."

Then as an afterthought, she added with a slight cringe, "Erm...I burnt most of your stuff at your funeral, coz...well...there was no body, obviously...ah...hope you don't mind?"

Ayanna Nyx - September 7, 2008 10:23 PM (GMT)
Asané laughed, "Of course I don't mind. Jedi have no possession remember? But thank you for the lightsaber crystal but I always intended to give it to you. I always knew you would be a great Jedi, I just wished I could've told you the truth myself. Well anyway, so much has happened since then! You're still Queen Kylantha's decoy, now a secret Jedi. The future has a lot in store for you. I wish I could help you with your training but that is now Master Alluria's job, I only became a Jedi Knight quite recently. Though I'm not sure I'm capable of having a padawan yet, it's a daunting thought." She laughed, "Master Vos is a bit of alright isn't he?" She whispered in Amelia's ear before laughing.

The Queen replied to Qurhon, "Well Alluria told me you were one of the best Jedi Knights that she knew of. That there had been another but he has now, well yes, we all know about that. I'm sure that her words were all true about you, you're of course welcome to stay, it is quite safe here." She spoke in a welcoming tone.

Kalin Thalis - September 7, 2008 10:33 PM (GMT)
Qurhon sighed, "Yes, your majesty. There was another. He wasn't very experienced when he left us, but he had a lot of potential. There are just some thing that are inevitable." He said looking back at Alluria, but for other more private reasons.

"Anyway I want to thank you for your hospitality, your majesty. We could use it, cause there's hardly any places to hide. We recently had to leave Alderaan because a batallion of Stormtroopers arrived, the 501st, the elite. And we couldn't afford to stay too long on Tatooine either. A.... Well a 'friend' informed us the security was going to get tighter on that planet. Though the security was never that tight on Tatooine as the Hutts were still pretty much in control over the planet, so I wonder, why the sudden change?"

Amelia Rose Fitzwalter - September 8, 2008 07:27 AM (GMT)
"Indeed he is," Amelia giggled under her breath, quietly answering Asane's question. Then she cleared her throat and looked to the others.

"Thank you, Your Majesty, for the hospitality. I'm sure we both," she indicated herself and Asane, "have much to catch up on, and I'm sure Masters Qurhon and Alluria could do with the rest, too. We've kind of been all over the place these past few...well I'm not sure if it's been days or even just hours. I'm afraid I've kind of lost my sense of time...but even so...we've barely had a chance to rest since Master Alluria and myself left Naboo, and I doubt Master Qurhon's had much more rest than us, either."

Ayanna Nyx - September 8, 2008 11:34 AM (GMT)
"Well, I can't speak for Qurhon but Alluria is always a bit like that, I don't know if she's ever had a holiday." She laughed, "My god, it's so good to see you again! I'll help you of course with whatever you need, will just be like old times. Master Alluria? Sorry to interupt but is it alright that me and Amelia go and train? I can show her where all the rooms are and such for we Jedi." She smiled jokingly.

Alluria laughed, "Yes alright, I'll see you both later then."

Asané grinned, "Excellent, so have you started building your own lightsaber yet? You really should, I can help you with it if you want." She said as she led them back into the secret passageways of the palace where they had come from.

The Queen listened to what Qurhon had to say, "Can't say I'm familiar with what is going on with Tatooine. But don't worry about the Empire here, indeed representatives come from time to time, but this palace has too many secrets hidden away, that's one of the things I like about it. Even if the Empire did find out about the Jedi here, we have ways of allowing the Jedi to escape safely while leaving no trace behind."
