Title: Trails of the Jedi

Olly2007 - February 24, 2008 11:32 PM (GMT)
Zen and Taves had made a move in the early hours of the morning, They had hidden in the early morning darkness and left the city, it took them five hours of walking but they had found the town of Varykino, they stopped there for a shot time to aqquire some food and drink then headed north bound as told to do, It was not long after mid day and they where nearing the location the Queen had informed them of.

The lake country was boggy and swampy in places, allot of plant life grew here and some of the trees giant, though obviously not like the ones of Kashyykk. a little further ahead Zen could see a group of the giant swamp land trees.

"Some thing tells me we are nearing the location my friend". He felt a little un-nerved, he worried the hidden Jedi would mistake them for Sith or one of the Emporers secret force sensitive servants.
He touched his light saber, just to make him feel a little more safe.
"Near indeed"...

Amelia Rose Fitzwalter - February 26, 2008 06:03 PM (GMT)
Amelia's home wasn't far from Varykino, and if you looked to the east of her balcony with a keen eye, you could just about make out the lakeside retreat that Senator Amidala had once owned, and which now belonged to Senator Naberrie... sitting on the edge of the lake, surrounded by mountains.

So that is what Amelia had done. She'd made her way home as quickly as she could, dumped a few unwanted possessions, collected a few more sets of clothing from her wardrobe (as her current choice of clothing was very limited) then stood out on tha balcony and watched...and waited.

With any luck, she would be able to catch the Jedi sooner, rather than later, and sort this whole mess out. It did need sorting out, after all, because now she was confused. Did Taves have feelings for her? Was it just her imagination? And more importantly, was he allowed to have feelings for her?

Just before mid-day, she saw what she was looking for. Two cloaked figures, stopping off at the town a little way to the North of the lake retreat, and just visible, if she looked hard enough.

Straining her eyes to get a better look, she blinked several times afterwards, to try and refocus her vision, then grabbed her cloak from the wall of the balcony, made sure her home was secure, then vaulted the wall, threw the cloak round her shoulders again, pulled up the hood and started off in the direction the two cloaked figures had been heading.

This time, she was better prepared, because not only did she have her trusty hold-out blaster, but she also had her bryar blaster tucked into her belt, too. And she was constantly on the look-out for trouble...so hopefully nothing could catch her off guard.

Mind you, saying that, trouble always found Amelia, not matter how hard she tried to avoid it.

Taves Sarfell - February 27, 2008 02:14 AM (GMT)
Taves sensed Zen's worry. He then noticed where his hand was. Suddenly he felt a strange little sensation. To someone who was not sensitive in the Force it would seem like the slightest sound of a twig breaking. However Taves could tell by the quick sensation with which it left that someone was trying to hide from them. He put up his hand to deter Zen. "Stop, whoever it is we probably won't need that." Although Taves knew that one possibility was that their watcher on was peaceful, he knew that the other possibility his statement implied was that fighting this person would be useless. He had a feeling that he should try to coax them out.

"Brother" he hoped "we mean you no harm. We are sent by friends. This galaxy's flame has burnt low. We come to rekindle it. Our masters seek your assistance. Please, help us."

Taves was surprised by the eloquence of his speech. Although this took back seat to the presence that he suddenly felt not far off. His breath left him for a second. He knew that presence, but he thought it best not to acknowledge her until she either appeared or came up in the conversation. He turned his head over to Zen. He wondered if he had felt it too.

Olly2007 - February 27, 2008 01:38 PM (GMT)
Zen knew some one was watching them, he took Tave's advice and took his hand off of his lightsaber.
He looked around to try and spot their watcher, but he could not see anyone.
He could feel the familiar mixed presence of Amelia, why had she followed them, was she pursuing Taves or trying to help, had the queen sent her as an assassin, He did not know.

All he knew was, he did not like the situation.

He spoke allowed, "We seek out the Jedi hidden here, we mean no harm, we are as my friend says, Brothers, we need your help".

He sat down crossed legged and began to meditate, he hoped he would be able to pick up on some of the Jedi, they did not know how many Jedi where he but he hoped it was allot.

Ayanna Nyx - February 27, 2008 05:04 PM (GMT)
OOC: Guys, thankfully someone alerted me about this. You both know that you can not play as an NPC Jedi, and any Jedi characters who are to appear have to be okay'd by me for me to play them. The fact that meetings with Jedi can influence both your knowledge and training, it can not be the job of any member. The mission on Naboo was merely about knowledge, and if either of you had wanted to meet up with any Jedi, all you had to do was come and speak to me firstly, so I would know to RP as them.

Olly2007 - February 28, 2008 12:03 AM (GMT)
OOC: I assumed you where going to jump back in soon, we havent played any parts yet, we only said that we felt like we where being watched, leaving it open for you to bring the jedi in.

Amelia Rose Fitzwalter - February 29, 2008 07:29 PM (GMT)
Amelia finally caught up with the pair as they stopped in a clearing. Zen was sitting cross legged on the floor, whilst Taves was standing close by. They were looking off into some bushes, talking to someone...or waiting for something. She wasn't sure what, but she decided that it was probably Jedi business and she needn't get involved.

Climbing a nearby tree, she settled herself down on one of the lower branches and waited, occasionally trying to listen to what was being said, although she was too far away to hear properly. In the end, she decided that moving a little closer would do no harm, and began to move along the branch.

However, half way along, she heard a crack and froze, glancing back at the point where the branch joined the main trunk of the tree. It was bending and a split had appeared in the bark.

"Uh-oh," she muttered, trying to edge her way back along towards the trunk before it split completely. She wasn't that far above the ground...about ten feet, if that...but it could still hurt if she fell and didn't land properly.

And that's what happened.

The branch tore completely from the tree and she fell with it, to the ground, landing rather unceremoniously on her backside with an 'oof'. Then she glanced up at the two Jedi, and blushed in embarrased that she'd interupted whatever it was they were doing. She could feel her cheeks growing red, already.

"Erm...hi...sorry...just, pretend I'm not here. Sorry."

Taves Sarfell - March 1, 2008 02:46 AM (GMT)
Taves stood there. He hadn't wanted this. Whatever was happening he hadn't wanted this to interrupt it. He felt that he could not keep Amelia out of any danger, should danger arise, and judging by the silence that had plagued them for more than a minute Taves felt a bit wary. It was nothing in the Force, since they could not sense their unseen seer. It was intuition, it was common sense that made him feel something was awry. He felt that if this person were a Jedi they would have had more than enough time to feel his true intentions as well as Zen's. However, many were likely driven into paranoia and distrust from this period of Darkness.

"Brother" once again trusting to hope. "Come forth, we don't have time to tarry." At this point he almost sent Amelia away, but then realized that she would probably be better off with them for the moment. He turned to Zen "What do you sense?" he asked in a whisper, almost wanting to make sure their seer couldn't hear him.

Amelia Rose Fitzwalter - March 2, 2008 11:44 AM (GMT)
Amelia frowned. Something was going on, but she didn't know what.

Getting up, she brushed herself down, and then took out her hold-out blaster. Something was making the Jedi jumpy...and that could only mean something bad.

Stepping forwards towards the bush, she tried to take a closer look, to see who was hiding. Then she frowned again and turned back to the Jedi, an annoyed expression on her face.

"You guys feeling alright? There's no-one here...you're just jumping at your own shadows."

Rolling her eyes at their apparent paranoia, she stepped completely into the bush, seemingly without fear for her own safety, and vanished from their sight.

Taves Sarfell - March 4, 2008 02:41 AM (GMT)
Taves decided that there was no longer any reason to try and hide Amelia from sight. It now was probably better for her to be where they could see her. Taves motioned toward her to come over to where they were before returning his focus back to Zen. "Do you sense something Zen?" As he asked he inched his hand toward his lightsaber hilt. Whether it would be pointless or not to try and face this being he thought he might as well have his weapon in his hand. He then stretched out his consciousness to see if he could find their looker on.

Olly2007 - March 4, 2008 11:24 AM (GMT)
Zen new Amelia was there, but he did not move he tried to stay focused on his meditation, "There is at least one person here, besides amelia". He said with a slight smile.
"I can't pin point them though, i can not tell of their intentions, i-i can't sense anything but their presence".

He too was becomming unnerved, He moved his hands so that he had his hands at the top of his legs, close enough for one hand to touch his lightsaber, making him feel a little more safe.

Amelia Rose Fitzwalter - March 5, 2008 10:10 PM (GMT)
Amelia returned after a few moments, a scowl of disapproval on her face.

"Seriously guys...no-one there," she said, brushing a few leaves out of her hair. "You've just convinced yourselves there is, and gotten yourselves worked up over it. Come on...lets go before you start spooking at your own shadows, or something. My place isn't far away...you can stay there the night and sort everything out in the morning, when you can think straight."

Then, realising that this invitation could have been interpreted as something more, given the recent behaviour of a certain Jedi, she blushed.

"Of course...that's only if you want to? Its well out of the way...safe...no-one would know you were there. Or you could risk trying a hotel, back in Theed, if you'd prefer?"

Amelia Rose Fitzwalter - March 5, 2008 10:12 PM (GMT)
OOC: By the way, guys...there isn't anyone there...you do realise that, don't you?

Just coz the Queen said that is where you'd find the Jedi, doesn't mean you will...I thought Tori had explained to you already that you wouldn't meet any Jedi just yet?

Olly2007 - March 6, 2008 12:14 AM (GMT)
(OOC: She didn't say there was no jedi she said just told us not to play the part our self, plus we never got told if Kalin was going to bring a sith into it or not.)

Zen stood, she was right, if some one was going to show they would of by now, hiding his embarrassment he looked at the ground, "Come on my friend, they have evaded us this time".
He began to walk in Amelia's direction.

He then stopped, "Actually, lets stay a while, this place... it seems to have a feeling of its own, its like a ripple in the force has been left by the Jedi who have been here, i think we should at least find where they apparently stayed".

He turned an began to head to the group of trees he had been drawn to earlier, they where already quite close, the trees where huge. He figured some one could of built a hideaway within them.

He didn't know what it was but something seemed to hold him there.

Ayanna Nyx - March 6, 2008 06:14 PM (GMT)
OOC: Sorry but I never said anyone could play the part of any Jedi apart from myself cause that condradicts with the rules. There is no Jedi on Naboo, the point of the mission was to find out if the Queen had any prior involvement with Jedi, cause that will lead to a further storyline. And as for a Sith being here, Kalin is not keen on the idea cause he sees it as rather pointless as to why any would be there. There's bigger things going on right now with them. But anyway, your adventure on Naboo won't last much longer, then you'll be taken to Tatooine to see a REAL Jedi, Obi-Wan Kenobi ;) So look forward to that and gain experience in the mean time. I don't know how long it will be until I can come back to this properly, my face is swollen like a beach ball right now after a wisdom tooth extraction. Which as you can imagine, doesn't make me feel too hot lol

Taves Sarfell - March 7, 2008 04:08 AM (GMT)
Taves decided that Zen and Amelia were right, and despite the fact that he obviously had things to talk about, he thought he would indulge his friend and follow him awhile. There was something though that was strange about this forest, this environment. It was as if something in the forest caused there to be a print of a former resident there. The sensation was strangely realistic.

Taves motioned to Amelia to follow them. He strolled along and wondered if she would follow him. He hoped she would.

Amelia Rose Fitzwalter - March 7, 2008 09:51 PM (GMT)
Amelia hesitated.

She'd never been this far out into the Lake Country before...who knows what they'd find out here, so far from civilisation. Holding her hold-out blaster a little firmer, and making sure that her other pistol - the Bryar Blaster - was within easy reach, she started after them, all her senses on high alert for anything...any sound of danger, or trouble.

As she walked on, she wondered what could have brought on this sudden feeling of fear. After all, had she not boldly stepped into the bushes to investigate, just minutes before?

Shrugging off this unease as being nerves because of her present company - she'd never met real Jedi, after all - she put on a brave face and continued to follow the pair, deeper into the darkness of the unknown.

Taves Sarfell - March 9, 2008 02:12 AM (GMT)
Taves and Amelia kept apace behind Zen as he walked forward. They walked side by side for awhile, neither looking up at the other. Taves sensed that she was nervous about something. "I know I'm not one to talk due to my show back there, but there is nothing to worry about. This forest may be strange, but I sense no danger here." He looked up and gave her what he wished would have been a reassuring smile, but it dissolved when he caught a glimpse of her face and his face shot down.

"What am I doing?" he asked himself. Had this been before he had recognized his potential in the Force a small voice would have run through his head. However now that he was a Jedi that voice seemed to have disappeared. The silent hollow of his mind remained empty, apart from the thoughts that rushed by faster than he could recognize most of them. "What I wouldn't give for that voice now" he thought.

Amelia Rose Fitzwalter - March 9, 2008 08:27 AM (GMT)
"I'm not afraid to die," she replied firmly after a moment, and strangely enough, this was actually the truth. "Therefore...why should I be afraid of a stupid forest?"

Because I don't know what's out here, and I could get hurt...or worse...the Jedi could get hurt, because of me...I couldn't bare it if someone else died because of me... She thought to herself sadly.

Asane was there in her mind, joking and laughing with her...and then she was lying on the floor, dead in a pool of her own blood...and it was all Amelia's fault.

She sighed sadly, and looked back to Taves, hoping to find something to take her mind off her dead friend.

Olly2007 - March 9, 2008 10:22 PM (GMT)
Zen and the others approached the base of the tree that had a hole much like a cave entrance, It was dark, he had nothing with him for light so pulled up his lightsaber to light his way forward.
He could see that it was a small corridor like set up, it lead to a large open area that was covered with different marks on the floor and the remains of an old fire.
He could see a large dusty spot where a bed seemed to once be, small pieces of wood crafted into seats where sat around the area.

"So sense or see anything" He said to Taves, "I'm drawing a blank".
He looked to Amelia, "Can you see anything, Amelia?"

(OOC: Sorry for lack of posts been very busy lately)

Amelia Rose Fitzwalter - March 10, 2008 09:01 AM (GMT)
"Hey, you're the guys with the super senses! It should be me asking you," Amelia grinned as she stepped forwards to take a look, tucking her blaster into her belt now that she felt there was no immediate danger. Besides, she had two Jedi to protect her...plus she would need both her hands to climb over and about the cave as she explored it.

"But, as a matter of fact, yes I can see something...look..."

She started to climb over the remains of what she guessed must have been some sort of fireplace built out of mud bricks that were made of mud from the swamp.

The dry mud crumbled beneath her as she gingerly scrambled over it, and then it gave way completely, sending her rolling down the other side out of sight.

"I'm fine!" a voice called back moments later, as she picked herself up and dusted off the dirt. "And look what I found!"

She held up a large, dusty cloak - similar to the ones the two Jedi were now wearing...only it was a very dark brown, whether through age, dirt or natural colouring, she wasn't sure...but still...

"Seems whoever was here left in a hurry and forgot this," she said as she climbed back over the mess, towards them, the cloak grasped firmly in one hand.

Olly2007 - March 10, 2008 10:18 AM (GMT)
Zen looked at the cloak, "Most intriguing" he said.
"Can you see anything else under all that?".
He started to get excited, maybe the jedi had left something here, he knew that it was unlikely but the thought of finding artifacts of the Jedi such as old lightsabers, crystals and even Holocrons made him crazy, he was indeed studying the profession as a Jedi Healer but he still liked the historian side of everything, maybe one day... when the Jedi where strong again, he could be a master historian and healer. He could only hope.

"Taves, you find anything?" He said to Taves who was looking at the other side of the cave.

Taves Sarfell - March 11, 2008 02:09 AM (GMT)
Taves stood in the cave, his eyes closed. Zen's question barely reached him. He felt a strange flow of feeling flow over him. Although they were not his own. He saw in his mind a picture of a figure, whose face was hidden in shadow, sitting cross legged inside of the cave in front of a fire. Suddenly, the figure looked off and rose up. It ran away into the blurred fringes of the picture.

Taves opened his eyes. "I feel a strange feeling. Whoever was here was forlorn. It was as if..." as he tried to find the words he ran his hand down the cave wall. "As if they had found some measure of peace to live in this cave, but something or someone drove them away." Taves couldn't bear the thought of it himself, he remembered the days of torture he had, trying to wash his hands of the blood he had spilled. He could not bear the thought of being in a place where someone had been robbed of such a thing. "If you don't mind" he said to the two "I'll be outside." He stepped out, as he did trying to not touch a single thing, so that if that person were to return one day they might find that peace left there.

Amelia Rose Fitzwalter - March 11, 2008 07:24 AM (GMT)
Several minutes passed in silence, before Taves was finally joined outside.

"You ok?" a gentle voice said from behind him, and then a hand was placed on his shoulder.

Amelia stepped up beside him and gave his shoulder a comforting squeeze, just so that he knew he wasn't alone, and that she was there for him, if he needed someone.

"You seem upset...want to talk?"

Taves Sarfell - March 12, 2008 02:44 AM (GMT)
Taves, didn't feel Amelia as she approached. When she spoke he was a slight bit startled. He listened to her voice, his tension over this phantom of the past beginning to fade as she spoke. He took a deep breath an exhaled in a deep sigh.

"My past is not what you see before you now." He turned and looked her in the eyes, trying to make her understand. "I wasn't always a Jedi as I am now. There was a time when my inner demons consumed me. I have blood on my hands" he said holding his hands in front of her. "I've come to terms with what I have done, but I don't know whether I am worthy of compassion that the innocent receive. Whoever was in that cave years ago seemed to be in the same situation, and they lost whatever peace of mind they had. I can't bear that."

He looked at her, hoping for compassion, wishing to wrap his arms around her and just stand there without anything else to get in the way, but thinking that she would shudder away from him as if he were a monster. This was also a thought he couldn't stand.

Amelia Rose Fitzwalter - March 12, 2008 07:57 AM (GMT)
Amelia, on the other hand, thought Taves was anything but a monster, and stepped forwards, wrapping her arms around him in a comforting, friendly hug.

"Tell me," she whispered into his ear as she held him. "I want to help you...but I can't if I don't know..."

Besides, you're life can't be as messed up as mine, she thought sadly, but then quickly pushed these thoughts aside. Because now was not about her...it was about a friend in need. And anything she could do to help him...she would.

Olly2007 - March 13, 2008 10:21 PM (GMT)
Zen, though he thought he should leave the cave, was drawn to continue exploring. He moved around it lifting up random wooden debris and hoping to find something.

He came to a darker area of the large cave, suddenly he felt the presence of some one more than just Taves and Amelia, he turned quickly going to grab his lightsaber, but he was to late, he felt the blow of something hit his head. then.... darkness.

OOC: I have posted in absences and i shall be away for some time so i am just taking my self out in a interesting way :)

Also i will still be checking in until monday (which is when i leave) so if theres anything you want me to do or sort let me know, as soon as possible.

Taves Sarfell - March 14, 2008 04:15 AM (GMT)
Taves felt the warmth of Amelia as he returned her embrace. He could have stayed there forever, frozen with her. He leaned down and began to whisper in her ear. "Well you see..." suddenly he felt a strange tremor in the Force. Whatever it was it was from inside the cave. Despite all of his wants he tore himself away from Amelia and grabbed her by the arm. "Stay close" he said, pulling his lightsaber from his cloak.

He led her back into the cave, looking warily around to see where Zen might be. "Zen?" he questioned the dark. "Zen?!" he exclaimed this time. He looked at the floor and saw where it seemed a being had been dragged along the ground. Then he saw the small holo map of the Theed Palace that Zen had previously had in his cloak. He picked it up. Once he did he projected his senses throughout the cave. There was no sign of Zen in the immediate area.

Taves turned to Amelia. "Do you have any transportation you used to get out here?" Whoever had taken Zen was long gone by now. He would need to get Amelia back to Theed and consult his masters before he could go any further with this. "Well?" he said. Although he castigated himself for the semi harsh tone he used to address the person who had only a minute ago been trying to help him. He looked into her brown eyes once again compassionately. "I'm sorry, it's just something has happened to Zen and I need to get you out of danger before I can worry about him." He wished that this had not ruined what had seemed like the most wonderful feeling he had felt in a long while.

(OOC: Umm as far as Zen goes is there anyone in particular that has kidnapped him, or not? Because I don't necessarily want to send Taves on a wild goose chase across the Galaxy.)

Olly2007 - March 14, 2008 08:57 AM (GMT)
(OOC: I was thinking, we are eventually going to Obi-wan, i was going to end up with him some how, but im trying to think how. Im not sure though, we need to think of some one or something that could hide from the force. We could just have some one with a Ysalmari or something)

Amelia Rose Fitzwalter - March 14, 2008 06:38 PM (GMT)
(OOC: You could just have a bounty hunter mistake him for someone else and take him to Tatooine, lol)

"It's alright," Amelia replied calmly, completely understanding of the situation. She looked round the cave and had to wonder how this had happened...And right under their noses! Surely the Jedi should have sensed something? She had her pistol in her hand again, a finger hovering over the trigger.

"Don't worry about me, I can take care of myself. You've got to find Zen, before anything happens to him, and I'll do whatever I can to help. I've already lost one friend...I don't intend to lose another any time in the near future."

Dragging Taves back outside, she glanced about and then looked off into the distance, as if judging the best thing to do.

"Come on..." she said at last. "My home's about twenty minutes away, ten if we run. You can contact your Masters from there...or work out a plan of action...or something. Anything's better than hanging around here! And I can organise us some transport then, too."

Taves Sarfell - March 15, 2008 04:44 AM (GMT)
With the haste that they went with Taves and Amelia made it to her house faster than expected. Taves decided that he should speak to his masters before he did anything else. He went immediately to the holo projector. After typing in the receiving code his masters appeared in front of him.

"My masters" he said bowing "I have bad news. Zen and I both met with the queen. She told us that there might have been a remnant of Jedi in the Lake Country so we went to see. Unfortunately not only were there no Jedi, but Zen has been captured and is currently beyond the reach of my senses. I don't know how to continue. I have sent the following coordinates of where I am currently if you need to pick me up. I just need to know how to continue."

Amelia Rose Fitzwalter - March 16, 2008 08:07 PM (GMT)
Whilst Taves was contacting his Masters, Amelia had hurried about her house, tidying it a little, but also gathering a few things together in a satchel...preparing for a journey that she had no idea how long would take. She still didn't know if she was going with Taves...would that be allowed? Or would she have to stay behind and watch him fly off into the distance, possibly never to return?

When she'd done all she could think of, she went back to Taves and just stood, watching him quietly...wondering what was going to happen next...what would he do? What would she do, for that matter?

So many questions inside her mind...and no answers...it was infuriating!

Taves Sarfell - March 16, 2008 09:49 PM (GMT)
As his masters prepared to respond there was an interruption in the transmission and his masters disappeared. "Oh for the love of..." Taves said. "Oh well they have the coordinates. I guess they'll have to get here." Since the transmission ended he started to pace back and forth, pondering the situation. However, after about a minute of this Taves noticed how out of sorts his feelings were.

He decided he should meditate while his masters made their way there. He sat down on the floor and crossed his legs, just as he did the first day he was on Alderaan. Now that he was calm he noticed a presence outside of the door. He opened his eyes and saw Amelia standing there. "Oh, I'm sorry. I just needed to contact my masters. Is there something you need?" Now that he looked back on the situation near the cave. He had a feeling what it was about.

Amelia Rose Fitzwalter - March 16, 2008 09:53 PM (GMT)
Amelia shrugged.

"Just...wondered if you were alright...that's all...back at the cave you seemed upset...I understand if you don't wanna talk though...just tell me to shut up or something...I always talk too much..."

She laughed nervously and looked away, trying to hide a blush that was creeping up on her cheeks.

Taves Sarfell - March 16, 2008 10:13 PM (GMT)
Taves smiled. "No I like the sound of your voice. It..." Now that Taves thought of it the thought seemed a bit childish. "It reminds me of my mother's voice. She was the only person who was truly kind to me after my father died, and before I became a protection service agent. It reminds me of a time before I got into such a gruff life. Before I had to face the harder facts of life. I know that sounds a bit immature, but it seemed a bit better back then, a little bit more like the way life should have been."

Amelia Rose Fitzwalter - March 16, 2008 10:20 PM (GMT)
Amelia grinned. "I'm glad I could be of some help...in a weird sort of way...and I'm flattered...I think...to be compared to your mother..."

Her expression showed that she was clearly confused...but confussed about what? The compliment that she wasn't so sure was a compliment? Her feelings for Taves? Or something else?

Taves Sarfell - March 16, 2008 10:42 PM (GMT)
Taves grinned. He supposed there was something cryptic in what he had said. "It's nothing, it's just" he looked at Amelia. "Your presence is very soothing."

He looked at Amelia. Her smile, her eyes. They all brought a warm shiver through his body.

Amelia Rose Fitzwalter - March 16, 2008 10:46 PM (GMT)
"Wish I could say the same," she smiled, then realised that this might have sounded wrong, or not how she'd intended it to.

"I mean...it's not that I don't want you here, coz I do, obviously...wouldn't have asked you otherwise, would I? What I meant was that I don't have your Jedi senses...I don't have a clue what this Force is that you guys apparently swear by...so I can't feel what you feel...with the Force and stuff...that's what I mean. Course I can still feel stuff...I still have feelings," for you she almost said, but stopped herself sharply, and blinked.

She hadn't been just about to say that, had she? Had she almost told Taves she had feelings for him? She cursed inwardly at herself.

Of course, she couldn't deny that such feelings did exist, deep down...but to admit such things to someone she barely knew was madness! She just hoped that Taves didn't sense these feelings...although she knew that it was probably already too late.

Taves Sarfell - March 18, 2008 07:54 PM (GMT)
In truth, Taves could feel her emotions deep down. Not because he was trying to pry deep into her soul. It was just the fact that he wasn't in control of where he was. This was becoming increasingly apparent by the fact that once again he was moving toward her without any control of his legs. Once he was within a foot of her he found his feet stuck to the floor, and his body unable to move.

Without words he found his face slowly moving in toward hers. His hand slipped onto her shoulder. However, just as he was about to meet her his mind began to race with all of the events of the last few days. A single tear dripped onto her cheek, but she wiped it away furiously, and walked from the room.
