Hi guys. Been a while. I was one of the earliest members here, back when the member count was below 10. I think my original character was the first full bounty hunter actually. I left a while back because life stuff got my time full. I only had time for one forum, and as I was a major staff member at another forum, I chose that one. Wasn't anything personal.
But recently, I've been in the mood for some RPing and now that a lot of the craziness has settled down in my life, (though not all, lol) I thought I'd come back here. The site I used to go to has since died (ironicaly) and the new site I'm at (administrator of actually) doesn't have the best RP crowd. So here I am again. My account is gone, but I didn't really like that character anyway, XD.
So, reading through some of the updates since I left (definitely made more than a couple of changes) I find myself wanting to take a different route. Which brings me to my point. Is there a possibility of introducing medicine as a profession? Medics, doctors, etc. You could build hospitals, start pharmecutical companies, etc. For those interesting in the Force, they could become skilled healers and such. Hell, if they wanted to go a dark side route with this, they could even use their knowledge of medicine and anatomy to work on bio-weapons. Viruses, chemical warfare, etc.
What do you think? Is it viable? Or does is this already part of one of the other professions?
Medics is mostly done by droids. You have medical droids... There're not really doctors anymore. Plus it would make things very limited for yourself as not many members would get in the mood to make themselves wounded or sick I think lol. Maybe you can try to become a Jedi and learn to become a Force Healer, but that's the only thing I can think of at the moment. I would consider another profession, but if you are really determined about this, then we can always try to work something out.
