Title: Market Place

Padmé - January 9, 2007 01:12 AM (GMT)
A busy area where all of your shopping requirements can be found. Here you can shop, dine, see entertainment and enjoy the sites of the beautiful city that is Theed.

Padmé - April 5, 2007 08:58 PM (GMT)
Ayanna strolled through the beautiful marketplace. She did not know why she had to urge, but she felt this was rest for her, and a way for her to collect her thoughts and plan her next steps.

Looking in a shop window, she saw a beautiful dress...... Almost too beautiful, but she couldn't help but step in and try it on..... It fit perfectly. Made of rippled silk and satin, in a mixture of purple, light blue and white. It reminded her of sea shells.

"You look beautiful M'Lady" Said the shop attendant.

She looked to him and then back to her reflection. She hadn't been called 'beautiful' since her father passed. She tied her hair up and wore it loose, she could easily have been a maiden of Naboo.

"Here"

She placed over 300 credits in the gent's hand and left the store.

Somehow, she felt free to be rid of her old clothes, although she did also sneak a white velvet cloak for times of need. She seemed like a different person, one of..... Light. Although inside, her feelings were still as dark as the shores of Mustafar.

She rubbed her stomach as it was now bare, she'd never worn anything like this, and she hoped that this would be enough to rid her of her suspicious looks....

Sitting down at a cafe, she ordered a drink, and soaked in the pleasantly warm sunlight.

Anakin - April 5, 2007 11:00 PM (GMT)
Kalin just arrived in Theed and walked around the plaza. It was very calm. People who were just buying and buying. He wore pretty old clothes which drew a bit of attention although his cloak certainly made it secure that he didn't draw too much attention.

People still kept their distance of him. Vague he felt something familiar inside the Force. It wasn't a disturbance. It felt actually peacefully. It was like a dark cloud was drawn away from the Force, although it still kept very clouded through the influence of himself and the Sith. The remaining Jedi were the only light who shined upon the Force.

Suddenly Kalin turned around and there the girl was, the girl from the Jedi Temple with that other Jedi. He still presumed she was a Jedi too. She was just denying it, trying to hide it, most likely for her own safety.
Kalin didn't immediatly run to her. He approached her calmly, waiting for her reaction and to his surprise, she didn't run away. She just kept sitting there, but she did see Kalin clearly coming towards her.

Kalin took a seat next to her. In a mocking voice he said "So we meet again...Jedi!"

Padmé - April 5, 2007 11:04 PM (GMT)
She laughed slightly at his words.

"I'm now starting to wish that I killed that old Jedi at the Temple ruins. Maybe then you would realize I'm not a Jedi, but just someone who is seeking revenge. Although that doesn't make me a Sith either."

She sat back restfully in her chair, still enjoying the warm air.

"I'm surprised to see you here on Naboo...shopping for a new tunic?"

Anakin - April 5, 2007 11:15 PM (GMT)
Kalin grinned and still didn't believe her words.

"So you are neither a Jedi or a Sith. I guess you are not a Dark Jedi either...."

Kalin waited for a moment for her reaction. But she didn't move and kept gazing upon the sunlight. He guessed she knew he was about to say more.

"Any luck in finding Anakin Skywalker?" He asked keeping his mocking tone.

Ayanna turned from the sunlight and was slightly biting her lip. Obviously he touched a nerve, which amused him.

"Well I admit it must not be easy, since he is dead. Hehe..."

Kalin paused, she was still biting her lip.

"I discovered you were investigating Tatooine, homeworld of Skywalker...But why were you showing interest in Senator Naberrie...It's obvious she's the reason why you are here...She must have told you something that sparked your interests..."

Kalin called for a bartender and asked for some Jawa Juice. In one zip he drank it all up and kept looking at those glowing green eyes of her, to his surprise, cause they were purple in the temple. What was this kind of transformation. The colour of her skin and her hair were different too.

Her skin was more tanned, almost copper. Her hair had a beautifully golden colour, while it was black in the Jedi Ruins. There was more about this girl, than her just being a Jedi, which he still believed although maybe she strayed from the good path...afterall he felt a lot of darkness in her when they first met....But now he felt more of the light side of the Force in her. She was more at peace.

Padmé - April 5, 2007 11:26 PM (GMT)
She answered his question about Skywalker.

"I had a feeling you were watching me...Every step I took. But even though I have not found him, I've found some interesting information.

Kalin responded: "And what kind of information would that be? Did you find his grave?"

"No...No grave...although I did see the grave of his mother...that was interesting."

She seemed to be amused.

"I learned some information that he had strong connections with politics afterall. He had a friendship with non other than Senator Padmé Amidala of Naboo."

She raised her arms as she spoke these last words.

Kalin was intrigued. "Interesting....."

She continued to talk: "Sadly, miss Amidala passed away long and can not help me herself.....But no matter....I've discovered that Senator Pooja Naberrie is her niece.

Kalin grinned. "Oh did you?! That is no secret at all....I have to say if you didn't even know that, your knowledge in politics is very poor."

"Remember, I didn't grow up in civilization...until a few months ago, I only knew two people in my whole life, my mother and father. I knew nothing of other people and certainly nothing about politics."

She smiled with these last words.

"I did find this converstation with Senator Naberrie to be fairly useful. Yet...like everyone else she is wrong about the fate of Anakin Skywalker."

Anakin - April 5, 2007 11:40 PM (GMT)
"How can you be so sure? You said yourself that before the last two months you knew nothing of other people...I guessed already that includes Anakin Skywalker himself...doesn't it?"

Ayanna sat forward, closer to him.

"I know what I was told...My mother told me what she heard, although I admit to you, the describtion she gave me of him, does not look like the image of him at all."

Kalin grinned, cause believing Anakin Skywalker was still alive was naieve, but believing it from her mother, who likely didn't even know Skywalker since she couldn't even give a good describtion of him, was certainly naieve.

"And of course, since she is your mother, you believed all this...no doubt of that, otherwise you wouldn't still pursue him. I understand why you believed her, but you said it yourself. She didn't even know how he looked like, how could she then even know if he was alive?"

Ayanna says: "My mother overheard the conversation between he and my grandmother An'ya Kuro. She called him Skywalker several times...nd he became angry when she did so. She pleaded that he returned to the light, but I don't know what that means...Anyway, he killed her that day and left my mother orphan and I swore to take revenge on that."

Kalin was puzzled about all this. Was she telling the truth? Why was Vader so interested in him. No! Impossible. It crossed his mind for a second that Vader and Anakin are the same person. But that couldn't be true. But still why was Darth Vader so interested in him to take him as his secret apprentice. Was it maybe because he was from the same bloodline as Anakin Skywalker? Although he was not closely related. He didn't know what kind of connection he had with him.

"Darth Vader killed the Dark Woman...not Anakin Skywalker...and that IS the truth!"

Padmé - April 5, 2007 11:46 PM (GMT)
"If you can proove that to me, then I will believe you."

She sat back annoyed.

"I don't know why my grandmother called him Skywalker, but it must mean something. The name could not just appear out of nowhere."

Kalin immediatly said: "Maybe she just took Vader for the wrong person?"

"You underestimate her. She was not naieve....and her and Anakin were once close...that is the tragedy in this."

Kalin interrupted her again: "From your point of view! And there is something else...you said that your grandmother called him Skywalker...NOT Anakin Skywalker...."

She sighs: "I don't expect you to understand this."

She looks at him bewildered.

"Why are you so interested actually. Im no one important...I'm not a Jedi, no a Sith...I'm no one...This is just a personal journey I'm taking. I didn't ask someone to come along with the ride with me."

Anakin - April 5, 2007 11:55 PM (GMT)
"You're a Force potential. The Sith cannot allow someone like you to be a Jedi, although you claim you wouldn't become one, I can't take that risk!"

"What would you have me do?"

Kalin kept staring at her.

"The only solution for you to live is becoming a Dark Jedi...But now other things are at hand...Your quest to find Anakin Skywalker has intrigued me...I admit there must be some truth behind what you said. I still believe he is dead. But something tells me there is more behind this mystery than is reveiled."

"To be honest, I intended to leave this universe once my quest is definatly over..." She said "I don't see why you think I would do any good as a Dark Jedi."

Kalin replied: "To the Sith you would be a great asset...that is the only reason. As a Jedi you would be a treat, which I cannot allow to happen..."

"Well I can not allow that you think I'm a Jedi to stop me with my search...even if I was to swear to become a Dark Jedi...my mission comes first."

Kalin was thinking. He was very interested in her quest. There was something mysterious about all this. Maybe her quest would reveal who the man behind the mask, his master...really is.

"What if I helped you with your quest...what would you do then?"

Padmé - April 6, 2007 12:09 AM (GMT)
She sits back again.

"Why do you want to help me...this has nothing to do with you and don't mistake me...I do not see you as my enemy...yet!"

Kalin responded: "How can you be sure this has nothing to do with me. You barely know me. There are things going on which I like to know too, which go hand in hand with your mission."

"How can I trust you won't kill when you've found out what you needed to know?"

"I won't...I still have my honour...I'm not an assassin. I see no purpose in killing you yet. Like I said before...The only reason I would kill you is if you became a Jedi...and you denied that you would become one. If you keep your word...I'll keep mine."

She nodds.

"Then I guess we have an agreement. And I suppose what my plans are here on Naboo."

Kalin smiled intrigigued. "Please do..."

She replied: "It's quite simple really. We are going to break in there."

She stretched out her finger towards the palace.

Kalin was surprised: "Are you serious?!"

She smiled: "Always...I've found something interesting in the Jedi Archives. It had more to do with Padmé than Anakin actually. Rumors about Queen Appilana...She believed that Senator Amidala was not killed by Jedi as was told. She thought it was because of Imperial matters...but she died before she found out the truth...I want to know what inspired her."

Kalin was baffled about what she said: "So you think that Senator Amidala was killed by Imperial forces. That's nonesense!"

"I think there was something more between her and Anakin, that we were led to believe. I got that impression from her niece also. Something strange happened...I can feel it. There is something we don't know about Anakin....and I met his steph-brother. He spoke about him in fear, not sadness."

Kalin responded "Interesting, yes I do believe there is more mystery to Anakin Skywalker than we know...I'm also determined to find out the truth as you are..."

"What is your impression?" she asked.

Anakin - April 6, 2007 12:27 AM (GMT)
"Well I still believe Anakin is dead. He was killed during the Jedi Purge just like the rest. I had access to datafiles which contained a huge list of deceased Jedi. Anakin was one of them. I don't know much about his relationship with Senator Amidala. I know that he helped her when she was a queen to relieve Naboo from the blockade of the Trade Federation. I know he served her as a bodyguard when the treat of the Seperatists became larger. There were a few assassination attempt on her life in the times of the Old Republic. There are a few more details, but nothing really important. That is all I know about them."

Kalin sat back waiting if she had some more information on this matter.

"I'll be honest with you. Sometimes I get this feeling in my gut that I am being foolish. Logically what I'm doing is mad, but something keeps me going. Wouldn't you know what drives you?"

Kalin simply answered: "Curiosity I guess...but maybe more is driving me. I don't know if this truth we might discover would be valid to me. Still something else is driving me, but I can't tell you what."

She nodds: "Fair enough. Although I do ask that we are honest with each other, otherwise we won't get very far.

Kalin agreed: "Indeed now is there something else you like to know...otherwise I would suggest that we start planning our "little break-in..."

She shakes her head.

"Good", He replied to her reaction. "Now let's start planning...this won't be easy. Although I might have something that could help us..."

Kalin stood up from his seat: "Stay here...I'll be right back."

Kalin used his transmitter and sent an eccoded message asking for the blue-prints of the Royal Palace of Naboo. A hologram of the palace showed up just a minute later which showed every detail of the palace.

He returns back to Ayanna and shows her the blue-prints.

He grinned: "This is what will guide us on our way!"

Padmé - April 7, 2007 03:53 PM (GMT)
Ayanna and Kalin walked through the streets together, glancing up to the beautiful Palace.

"It's not going to be easy, and possibly will provide us with no evidence at all..... But it will be alot of fun atleast" She grinned.

"I know you still think I'm being idiotic, but believe me..... Something isn't right...... Anakin may have died, fine, but something is out of place...... You must sense it also..... Plus there was something about Tatooine, the spirit of that planet was so strong, I could've sworn he was there almost...... He left his print on that planet........."

She looks away from Kalin as they continue to walk.

"Don't get me wrong....... I do hold.... some... respect for the man..... How can't I? And it's not because he was a Jedi...... My mother once told me that An'ya didn't feel he suited as one..... I don't know why..... Although An'ya thought the same of herself at times....... But someone killed her in his name..... You say it was Darth Vader but that doesn't make sense......"

She continued,

"Queen Apailana believed that Padmé Amidala was not murdered by the Jedi, as I said, and she believed that the Empire covered it up...... But that doesn't mean that they killed her....... Because afterall, why would they? She was just a Senator, nothing more...... Also she was pregnant....... Even for the Empire, it seems unhuman to do that to her...... So I want to know on what ground that the former Queen felt that this was a possibility that the story was false....... I even heard that the present Queen of Naboo, Kylantha, tried to investigate the murder of Apailana herself, but suddenly the investigation was stopped......... You are an Imperial, whatever you say, you have connections to them...... But you are also a Sith..... A Sith holds loyalty to nothing except themselves and their teachings...... So help me..... If the Empire did do this, then I want to know why..... I don't care if they help me or you..... They are merely an obsticle"

Anakin - April 7, 2007 07:37 PM (GMT)
Kalin stopped walking.

"Wow wow, stop! First let's get something straight! I...am...not...an imperial!"

He continued.

"Yes, I do work for Darth Vader, but I also work for myself. There is something out there, that I want to uncover. Why Darth Vader took me as his secret apprentice, is something that made me suspicious. There has to be some connection with him and Anakin Skywalker. So I thought, because I carry the name of Skywalker too. I guessed that sparked his interest in me."

"Okay, I believe you that Imperials covered up the murder of Senator Amidala. It's not impossible...I've heard many Jedi tales and if those stories are true, then the Jedi would never do such a thing. I don't hate Jedi, you know. I was just more attracted to the Dark Side, so the path of the Jedi was certainly not mine."

"Also about loyalty...you're wrong about that...I told you before...I have my honor so I would never stab somebody in the back...I hold my loyalty to Vader and I always will...But he doesn't have to know everything I do, as long as I get the job done, you understand what I mean?!"

Padmé - April 9, 2007 10:14 PM (GMT)
She nodded again as he spoke.

"Alright, well, I suggest we wait until nightfall, then we enter the palace. You know how to be sneaky right, just cause when I heard you "sneak" up on me and that old man at the Jedi Temple, I heard you coming a mile off"

She smiled in a joking way.

Padmé - June 14, 2007 10:53 AM (GMT)
Ayanna and Kalin strolled through the streets of Theed, there was a clear security presence after the events at the palace the night before. Ayanna couldn't help but notice that Kalin was still bothered about how the proceedings of the night before had gone through.

"I don't think it's wise that we stay here.... Neither of us blend in easily do we..." She smiled jokingly.

Anakin - June 14, 2007 04:24 PM (GMT)
"You think?!" He replied sarcastic.

Moving to her side he noticed somehing on her skin. But he turned around and pretended he wasn't looking at her.

"So remind me...What are we doing again...my mind is a bit blurry! Think I had a little too much Jawa Juice" He laughed.

Although he quickly stopped cause otherwise they wouldn't blend in very good. Something else was on his mind. He still was thinking "Should I kill her or not...It would be a waste...."

He walked further with her down the street, when both heard a sound behind them.

"What was that?!...Did you hear that?!" He whispered.

Padmé - June 14, 2007 04:55 PM (GMT)
She laughed slightly, she was surprised that this.... Stranger, was still wanting to follow her around, but she responded to what he asked.

"Security.... I think we have over stayed our welcome..... We won't be able to outrun them..... They would either shoot or stun us... So..... Any bright ideas blue eyes?" She smiled as though calm.

Anakin - June 14, 2007 08:35 PM (GMT)
"yeah...I'll hide behind you when they fire...then I'll throw your body at them, which will give me the chance to run away!" He grinned

Somehow it didn't sound funny.......

"You okay with that? No?...well just draw your weapon and give it the best you can....if that doesn't help...THEN I'll throw your body at them...sounds better?"

Both drew there lightsabers. The guards just saw them ignite and it spooked them away. Seeing a red and purple blade in the dark made them feel uncomfortable.

"Well that wasn't so difficult...."

Ayanna gave Kalin a slight slap in his face!

"Hey what was that for!?" He said annoyed.

Padmé - June 14, 2007 08:50 PM (GMT)
She laughed a little and began to march ahead of him.

"Well now we certainly can't stick around here!"

She runs inside one of the stores and behind a screen. A few moments of her warning Kalin not to dare look, she emerged wearing her original black attire.

She stood in front of Kalin, a little out of breath from the changing.

"Well..... I think we've out stayed eachother's welcome yeah? Have a nice life..." She marched out of the store, raising her hood over her golden hair.

Anakin - June 14, 2007 08:53 PM (GMT)
"Hold on a minute! Where do you think you're going?!" He said as he ran after her.

"First you want me to invade the palace with you, now you're just going to run off? Is that what you call gratitude?!" He stood in front of her with his arms folded.

"No no.... This is not how it works.... I helped you, now you're going to help me!"

Padmé - June 14, 2007 08:55 PM (GMT)
She raised her eyebrows a little in a sarcastic smile, "I don't know what you have planned but.... Count me out.... You're cute.... But not that cute!"

She walked past him still laughing.

"You helped me, but I never asked you to come along and find me..... You want to learn more about Anakin Skywalker? That's nice... Well you know as much as I do.... So good luck with that...." She kept a smile on her face.

Anakin - June 14, 2007 08:58 PM (GMT)
"And you don't?" He grinned as he followed her.

"Face it, you want to find out about Anakin Skywalker as much as I do.... So don't give me that attitude Miss!"

Padmé - June 14, 2007 09:01 PM (GMT)
"I never said that I wasn't going to continue my 'quest for knowledge' about him.... But, why does that have to involve you?" She turned and faced him as he stopped right infront of her.

She looked over his shoulder and saw a number of security guards coming. She pulled on Kalin's neck and darted inside a small alley way as the guards rushed past.

She looked up to him as he stood close in the crammed alley.

"Cozy..." She said rolling her eyes, "Now I helped you from getting caught by those guards.... So are we settled then?"

Anakin - June 14, 2007 09:06 PM (GMT)
"Not in a long shot! I could've taken those guards out myself.... You're just lucky that that stunt of yours worked....." He stepped out of the alley.

He grabbed her by her arm a d he yelled, "Hey guards!! We got ourselves a burglar here! She broke into the palace!!" He faced Ayanna again, "See? Now you got two choices.... Either you face those guards on your own.... Or you come with me back to my ship.... Then those guards wont be a problem anymore.... And believe me, if those guards get over here, I will talk my way out of it, but I'm not too sure about you..... I've got evidence..." He grinned.

Padmé - June 14, 2007 09:08 PM (GMT)
She continued to smile, but her eyes clearly showed she was far from happy, but she had little choice.

"Alright..... Alright..... I'll stick with you.... For now at least...."

Christopher Enyar - June 21, 2007 02:24 AM (GMT)
Chris walked through the elogent city. For the moment, he had no weapons at all, nor any armor. He was little more the an athletic and flexible human youth. He long black hair tied back into a pony-tail, he moved forword, looking like a simple civillian. He figured he might just question people casually, using the mask as a light-headed kid with big dreams of being a Jedi. It was always a good cover. He then heard a bit of commotion. Something about a thief. Well, he figured he might as well check it out. What could it hurt? He moved quickly through the clouds, his size and skinny body allowing him to move easily through th crowd. He found himself behind the one he thought had yelled, and he had grabbed a girl who Chris could only assume was supposed to be the thief.
Something, however, felt wrong. His ears perked up a bit as he heard him making deals with her, of some kind. She seemed to be unhappily agreeing. Well, he figured, he might as well focus on this. If he saw them fight the guards, he could be sure. So, he got a little closer behind them, and planned on 'accidentally' getting in the way when they would try to run.

Anakin - June 21, 2007 10:49 AM (GMT)
"Good!" He replied to Ayanna walking further down the dark streets, trying to avoid any guards. All they had to do is get back to his ship.
"So what are the plans?" She asked with curiosity although she didn't seem excited to join forces with him.

They walked further until suddenly Kalin heard something. He held his hand by his lightsaber.

"Shhh...did you hear that?!"

Ayanna kept silent waiting for the sound, Kalin heard.

"Hmmm I guess it was nothing", for a moment he thought someone was following them. Though he kept his suspsicion he just walked further.

"You really should be less jumpy with that lightsaber of yours...It will get us caught someday!" Ayanna implied.

"Hey I rather play it safe, okay!" He spoke annoyed

"Safe, you call that safe?!" She replied sarcastic.

Both walked further, not in a very happy mood. Kalin was annoyed by Ayanna's attitude and she kept wishing she never met him.

Christopher Enyar - June 21, 2007 09:31 PM (GMT)
Chris had to duck quickly to not be spotted, but he caught a glimpse of the lightsaber quickly. Of all the chances, it's the first ones I spot, he thought to himself. He needed to contact the other assassin now. The two could not be allowed to leave and it sounded like that was what they were doing.
Well, two choices. One is to continue following them, and the other is to try to get to the other assassin, and then quickly get back before they take off. While the second is safer, there is no telling whether or not I'll lose them.
He sighed, and continued his pursuit. Well, they were definately the two that were supposed to be Jedi. And if that was so, then he would have to kill them. However, he did not want to even try it when one of them seemed to be rather jumpy with that lightsaber.
His best strategy would be to follow them until he is spotted. If he gets spotted, he can try to run away. A. He would get caught and possibly held as a prisoner, or B: He'd get away and then get his partner and equipment and go for the kill.... then there was C: In which, he dies trying to run, but he did not think of that option to be as likely.
He actually liked A better. It offered more options, and more ways of deception, and he was rather curious if he could decieve a Jedi. It was more of a challenge for him, and he enjoyed the challenge.

Padmé - June 22, 2007 12:25 PM (GMT)
Kalin and Ayanna continued to walk, heading for the hangers.

Kalin looked behind him, "I'm sure someone is following us.... Though I can't sense anything.... Yet...."

She laughed a little, "Well we're not going to be here for much longer... So it doesn't matter..... Where are we going anyway... Since it CLEARLY seems that you are the one in charge now..." She said sarcastically.

"We're going to Tatooine.... I've heard it's nice and sunny there!" He laughed.

"You're wanting a holiday now?.... Great...." She said annoyed.

Kalin did not respond and kept walking. he then suddenly turned around again and ignited his lightsaber.

"Okay.... I'm tired of this! Somebody IS following us.... I'm sure... And I intend to find out who...."

Ayanna scuffed her feet as she turned around, looking less than amused. Kalin moved back in the direction they had come from, suspecting the one who was following them was hiding there.

Christopher Enyar - June 23, 2007 01:27 AM (GMT)
Chris could see they were not taking to being followed. Well, time to take on the act. His eyes seemed to widen a little, making him look a little younger, and more innocent. He then changed his posture, slouching a bit more, making him look more like a civillian then a soldier. He now felt prepared as he changed his outward attitude, his face seeming far more carefree and innocent. His voice would be a little different too, making it younger, and sounding slightly more idealistic. He also tried to think like that, as well, making the image complete.

Anakin - June 23, 2007 06:27 PM (GMT)
When he came closer, Kalin saw this young individual. He then turned his lightsaber off as he saw no danger at all. Still, there was something suspicious about this boy.

"What is a young boy like you doing so late on these streets?" He paused, "Anyway, I think you should run home now kid... Things could get dangerous... You never know who you will run into... Get the picture?" Kalin said threateningly, but not too much, as after all, he was just a boy, so he thought.

"That's real subtle Kalin...." Ayanna said sarcastically.

"Funny..." Kalin responded, not amused in actuality.

They turned and began to walk further from the boy who they presumed to be innocent.

Christopher Enyar - June 23, 2007 06:53 PM (GMT)
Chris found the threat as being rather weak, but he could not let it seem that way. His face expressed mild fear, as well as excitement. "I heard a rumor there was a Jedi around here," he said, his voice sounding amased and idealistic, while also expressing a minimal amount of fear.
Chris was coming up with this as he went along. The lie would grow into a life. And he covered it well. "Jabin will never believe this. Me, meeting a Jedi. Two Jedi! Wow..."
He seemed to be growing into character every moment. "Why are you two here? The way I hear it, Empire already has a team looking for you."

Padmé - June 23, 2007 07:10 PM (GMT)
"Excuse me son.... I am not a Jedi!" Ayanna said to him, annoyed that he had made such an asumption, "The Empire looking for us eh? Kalin....?" She said turning to her counterpart.

"Well if you 'happen' to run into this team who are looking for those Jedi, give our greetings okay?" He then muttered to Ayanna, "The Empire looking for us... Gimme a break.... Think the boy is too excited...."

"Well, you are 'bedfellows' with the Empire... Surely you would know about this..... I dunno... I don't buy this kid at all..." She said muttering back to Kalin.

"You're not afraid are you?" He asked with a smug face.

"No.... But I don't like the idea of hanging around here any longer.... We've attracted too much attention as it is, the perfect example being the boy wonder over there..." She turned her back to the stranger while talking to Kalin.

"I wouldn't worry about him.... I think I know how to deal with this.... So you just leave it up to me...." He said back

"Fine.... Just hope you know what you're doing...."

Christopher Enyar - June 24, 2007 01:40 AM (GMT)
Chris ears were rather good, but he acted oblivious. He could only hear small pieces of their whispered conversation. While being untrusted, his fake identity seemed to be working. He had to think about his next move. He had established an Identity, and that the Jedi were here. However, only one actually seemed to be a Jedi.
He made his face express discomfort a little. "So..." he said, his voice seeming nervous. "My name's Shen Starrom." That name he pulled from old family records. "What's yours?" he asked.
The best thing that could happen would be guards starting to come now. That would force the two into more rushed decisions, which might be able to make him manipulate them to where he wanted to be.

"Why do you keep following us, kid!?"

Kalin was annoyed at the boy's presence and he still felt something was wrong about him. His acting skills weren't very good but wheter he was a spy for the Empire or some other organization, he didn't know. Still he tried to keep his act up.

"In the name of...don't they feed you enough at home...is that the reason you keep following us?!"

Kalin walked further. So far no guards were in sight afteral it was night and they were in far reach from the palace. At night time not much guards could be spotted, at least not at such places as the market place. The Royal Palace was heavily guarded. Kalin and Ayanna figured that out themselves during their little 'invasion'.

"I'm telling you...go home...It isn't safe here..." He said one last time to the boy who kept following them. His curiosity was too big for Kalin to handle. At last the Hanger bays came in sight. It was only a few minutes away.

Chris was seeing his disguise was not helping. Well then, time for the other plan. But, for his exit, he would make it far more believible. He forced himself to feel emotions, whether they were real or not. Tears streamed from him from the fake sadness, and he ran off, running.
Well, that did not last long. He took a back way, but was running now. He went back to his own ship at the hanger bay, to inform his fellow Assassin, and put on his armor and weapons.
He then went back, towards them, but kept hidden, and readied for an ambush.

As the boy ran away Kalin was curious why he got so tense, so emotional...

"I think I scared him away...oh well...Come on, the hanger is just a few meters away!"

Sarcastically she responded to his words: "Yeah you handled that really well..."

"Don't make a big deal out of it....he's gone isn't he?!"

She stood with a smug face: "Yeah, but I'm having second thoughts....maybe I should have joined him...instead of you!"

"I can arrange that!" He pointed his finger at her with a grin on his face.

Both didn't worry anymore whether he was a spy or not. They just didn't care anymore and saw no danger at all. At least not for now. Finallly they arrived at the Hanger bay.

Amelia Rose Fitzwalter - August 6, 2007 08:46 PM (GMT)
At night, Naboo's climate wasn't much different from it's day, with the only difference being a slight drop in temperature, and a light wind that was enough to make Amelia shiver a little, but not too much.

This night was no different, and although she'd pulled the hood of her uniform down now, to make it less obvious that she was a handmaiden, and to make it easier to browse the stalls, she pulled the collar of her robes up a little higher to stop the wind from tingling the back of her neck. She could change back into her normal clothes, but that would mean having to find somewhere private to change. She could do that later when she got back to her room. For now, no-one would really notice, so she decided to stay as she was, in her robes.

Pulling the pouch of odd assortments from her little wooden box, she checked the amount of credits inside and decided that a night time tour of the shops and stalls would be a better idea than touring them during the day. After all, there would be less of a crowd at this time of night, so she'd be able to browse in peace. Plus there would be less people to comment on her clothing too.

Attaching the pouch to her white sash, she started off across the plaza towards the first stall.

Wandering over to the nearest stall, Amelia noticed something which caught her eye immediately. A box of bacta patches and salve.

"Perfect," she muttered, picking the box up to examine it. Noticing that the tired looking stall owner was eyeing her injured hand, she quickly adjusted her sleeve to cover it up and asked for the price of the item, knowing that it was already too late and he may well try and up the price because he could see she was in need of the item. She'd have to do some serious haggling now.

"100 credits?" She exclaimed after hearing the price. "Do I look stupid? They've got to be worth 50 at most!"

After some haggling, they still hadn't come to an agreement.

"Look buddy," Amelia snapped. "I wasn't born yesterday! I may not know a lot of things, but I DO know that this tiny box is not worth more than 50 credits! You think because I work at the Palace and serve the Queen, that I'm loaded? You think I have credits pouring out of my ears?"

This seemed to do the trick, and a few minutes later, Amelia was 50 credits down, but a box of soothing bacta patches and salve now sat in her little treasure box, waiting to be used to heal her minor training wounds.

Giving the stall owner an annoyed scowl, Amelia wandered off further along the line of stalls and shops, eager not to make the same mistake again.

However, half an hour later, Amelia hadn't found anything else interesting or useful that she could buy, and now the stalls were closing, so she decided to call it a night and started back towards the Palace, intending to find her room on her own, unaided, before it got completely dark. After all, how else would she learn to find her way around the luxurious Palace?
