Title: First step on a New Path.

Jikkata - February 2, 2008 05:26 PM (GMT)
As the ship finally landed in the hanger, Jikkata could feel a thrill of excitement rush through him. It had taken a lot of time and a lot of work but he had finally located a Rebel recruitment officer in a spaceport. Now he found himself on the jungle moon of Yavin. He gave warm thanks and bid farewell to the crew of the ship that had taken him here. As he stepped off the ramp he paused, eyes widening at the site of all the various starships and fighters in the hanger. "Wow." he rumbled, part of him wanting to wander around and tinker with all the different ships. However, he knew there'd be time for that later.

As he gazed around the hanger again, this time to look for what to do next, he had to admit a certain amount of nervousness was stirring too. There was no turning back now he was at the Rebel alliance headquarters. He took a deep breath and stepped up to a protocol droid he saw awaiting to greet new arrivals.

"Excuse me," he growled softly, "I..uh..just arrived here...to report for training...where am I supposed to go?" he asked somewhat sheepishly.

The Protocol droid shuffled slightly before replying, "Well em..... What skills exactly do you posses? There are many places in which I could send you....." The droid said in a worried tone at the size of the Wookiee, but it was merely trying to be helpful.

"If you would progress to the common area then I'm quite sure you will find an instructor for assistance....." It nodded.

Jikkata listened carefully to the droid and finally nodded. It seemed the droid wasn't entirely used to dealing with Wookiees but that was alright, he wasn't entirely used to dealing with droids. He flashed a grin at the droid and have it a friendly pat on the shoulder. "Thank you, you have been very helpful."

With that he made his way out of the hanger and made note of were some of the busy rebels seemed to be headed until he got his bearings and found the way to the common room.
