Kayen had just barely escaped from House Una with his skin intact. Currently, he was hiding in a dark cavern of Lessu. Breathing heavily, he took a sip from the water supply of his armored helmet. He had switched his helmet to night vision mode to see in the darkness of the caves.

Ryloth was a God forsaken planet, baked in enough heat to force its only inhabitants to live in caves to escape from the unsetting sun. And now, Kayen, a young bounty hunter, was hiding from the dozens of soldiers which were searching for him.

His helmet's sensors fluctuated and Kayen looked up, expecting to see a group of soldiers closing on his location, but what he saw was even more frightening...

A huge creature was walking right towards Kayen on piercing sharp legs, two long tentacles whipping around its exoskeleton covered body. It was a Lylek who had come into the caves to hunt for Twi'lek, but unfortunately it had found Kayen.

Kayen swore as he took in the huge beast in front of him. He stood up to his feet and quickly checked the power supply of his blasters. They were down to half. Kayen might have thought about running, but he didn't have time. The huge creature let out a shrill cry and started to run right at Kayen.

One of its long tentacles swung at Kayen, but he barely rolled under the attack and lifted his blaster. Two bolts hit the body of the beast, but there was no visible damage done. "Bloody hell!"

The Lylek swung round and stabbed at Kayen with its legs, but he rolled out of the way. Kayen was sweating and swearing, but he knew that he had to do something quickly. He quickly scurried under the body of the creature and slammed the power pack of his holdout blaster against his hand, before flipping a switch on the blaster. The weapon started to overload and beep.

Kayen quickly crawled up to his feet and started to run. The creature followed and Kayen turned around and threw the holdout blaster at the head of the Lylek, right into its mouth. The creature swallowed the blaster.

A tentacle suddenly wrapped around Kayen and started to lift him. Kayen covered his head with his hands when suddenly the creature exploded, splattering everything around them with yellow and green innards.

Kayen fell to his back before he quickly crawled to his feet and started to run towards the landing platform. This mission had cost him a blaster now!
