Title: The Main Hall

Kalin Thalis - November 10, 2007 01:02 AM (GMT)
If you have passed the entrance, then you will find yourself in a dark hall leading to all the different sections of the Academy. Here, the acolytes and masters sometimes gather to talk though most are not talkative at all. The numbers of death is very great here as conflicts often arise in the main halls. Ones that can only be solved with a lightsaber.

Ayanna Nyx - November 10, 2007 01:51 AM (GMT)
Kalin and Ayanna began to walk their way through the halls after her interrogation which turned out to go very much in her favour thanks to Kalin's intervening.

"Kalin.... You never seize to amaze me..... You could have easily let me boil and fry in there, and you'd be left with nothing effecting your every day life..... Yet you sent them on their way as though you were the one in charge of this Academy.... Not them..... So I have to ask.... Why?...." She said as she stopped in front of him, looking to him with intrigued eyes.

"Why? I care for you! And second, I like to put those masters in their place! I may not be in charge here, but I know I'm better than them..... They are rotten beings, hiding in the Dark Side..... They know nothing of what is on the other side..... They are ignorant...." Kalin spoke his last words with clenched teeth.

Ayanna was somewhat taken aback by what he had last said, "You.... You care for me?" She said with a half laugh, "You don't care for anything Kalin, apart from your own backside perhaps! If I saw you show one slightest bit of affection to so much as a flower, I'd die of shock!" She laughed again.

"Well yeah, I care for you.... Only because you protect my back.... Which I care for a lot more than you of course!" He said in a sarcastic voice. He said this only to deny his true reasons why he cared for her.

"Well that's logical.... The most likely person to stab you in the back is me! I've heard you sleep.... That's enough to drive anyone to murder!" She laughed again.

"Then why didn't you?" He provoked her.

"Oh I found it more interesting to watch than to ruin it all....." She said sarcastically.

"I didn't know I was so fascinating in my sleep! I must be more charming than I thought!" He said with a boastful voice.

"No, it's just that when you sleep, you are so much more charming than you are when you are awake!" She laughed as she hit her hand off the back of his head in a joking manner.

He laughed but his smile disappeared as he saw a familiar figure appear from the entrance.

Kalin Thalis - November 10, 2007 02:31 AM (GMT)
As the figure entered and the light cast his shadow before them, it was revealed that it was none other than Darth Vader. Kalin stood firm as he stepped closer to him. Ayanna froze but managed to force herself to give a slight bow of respect.

The masters looked intrigued in what this conversation would result in, as it was not often that Darth Vader visited the Academy, so there must have been good reason. They secretly hoped it would be the end of Kalin Thalis.

"So Kalin.... What news do you have about Li?...." He said coldly.

"My Lord, I returned to Ryloth and used Ayanna as bait to find him.... He swore he would come after her and kill her.... So I figured it best to keep her close by if I was to capture him..... But I had no luck.... And there was no trace of him....."

Vader raised his finger, showing he was not pleased with Kalin's failure to find Li, "So I have heard..... Rumours are spreading he still is in the Outer Rim..... Ironically, my spies told me he is hiding in the Aargonar system......"

Kalin was surprised when hearing the name of his homeplanet, was this a coincidence or did he go there because he knew Kalin's roots? He did not know.

"Why would he hide there, My Master....." Kalin asked.

"Perhaps there is a reason..... So I advise you to watch your footsteps Kalin..... You should not unerestimate him....." Vader said.

Ayanna stepped forward to speak, "Lord Vader..... If I may be so bold as to ask to accompany Kalin on this mission to Aargonar....." She said bowing her head as she spoke.

"I do not care if you would but do know, that you will both follow my lead..... I will join you as an assurance that he will be destroyed....." Vader turned around, heading for the entrance, "Now follow me to my shuttle.... My star destroyer is waiting...."

Both were baffled to hear that Vader would join them on this mission, why he would od this was a mystery. Perhaps there was a personal issue between Vader and Li, they could only speculate. They followed Vader all the way back into the port where the shuttle had landed. As they entered the craft, the shuttle took off, landing later in the docking bay of the Devastator.

lewy - November 12, 2007 12:04 AM (GMT)
esei felt the great roof above the hall was pushing him down. He felt alone in the darknes, and, truly, there were few others there, and they all stayed away from him.
It seemed his reputation as a x-jedi-and-bounty-hunter-and-womaniser-and-regulary-just-a-worthles-piece-of-bantha fodder-that-could-be-used-for-practising-force choke had beat him to it. Again.
He sighed, and looked around for Remus-Qui.

Kalin Thalis - November 12, 2007 12:15 AM (GMT)
Remus-Qui appeared in the main hall, he could see Resei had a rather puzzled look on, his face. He asked to him immediately,

"So, what have you already learned? I can sense you are not unfamiliar with the teachings of the Force.... Don't show me.... It might be dangerous to show these things here..... Just tell me...."

lewy - November 12, 2007 12:26 AM (GMT)
"Mainly I learnt that all Sith seem to be grumpy all the time, and very touchy... Not to mention pure sadistic and malevolent...
But my old master thaught me basic protection bubble and battle precognition, and was about to teach me mind tricks.
And... that is mostly it."

(OOC: Are there any forms of the force known to all jedi and sith, that do not count as the extra you must add on your profile? Like push or pull, force leap / jump or such?)

Kalin Thalis - November 12, 2007 12:38 AM (GMT)
OOC: I'll reply later, no there are no basic force powers you can add, if you add them you should learn about them and in the beginning you are limited to only 3 force powers you can choose to learn, later the choices will increase

Kalin Thalis - November 13, 2007 03:13 AM (GMT)
Remus was known for his sarcastic attitude so he made comments towards the Sith's attitude. "Yes, they are not very well known for their 'kindness'...But these aren't real Sith... They are Dark Jedi... Arrogant Acolytes which try to prove themselves for their strenght in the Force and they will always try to top each other... Maybe even you..."

Now he turned back to his training.

"About what you have learned so far... It's not very impressive... The Jedi who taught you must have had a short training herself... You said she wanted to teach you mind tricks... Would you like to learn about that... Well if you do... First of all you must know that they only work on the weakminded... The stronger you are in the Force... The better your knowledge is in this technique and of course... The weaker the mind... The more you can manipulate them..."

lewy - November 13, 2007 04:27 PM (GMT)
Resei looked sceptically at him, before replying.

"If I could not stand competition I would not have been alive now. And I have only trained in the force for a little (week/month)... But I am here to train, you know..."

For a moment his eyes wandered over the hall.

"So... do we start, then? what are we to start with?"

Kalin Thalis - November 14, 2007 05:56 PM (GMT)
"What do we start with? Knowledge!"

A Sith Acolyte passed by and Remus waved his hand

"You don't want to go to your training today, you feel tired...."

The acolyte repeated what Remus said and did as he commanded.

Remus turned back to Resei "Well his master is not gonna be happy today haha!" He lauged

"Anyway that is only a little what you can do with mindtricks....if truly can grasp it and are strong enough, they will even follow you in death!" He explained

He tried to explain Resei what the reason was why many Force Potentials wave their hand when they use mind tricks. It makes it easier for the victim to forget what they are about to do.

"If your victim is too focused on something, you must make him forget... Use the Force to tranfer your thoughts to his... Some can use mind tricks without speaking, but again it is easier to vocalize your mind trick as it will transfer faster to your victim's mind."

lewy - November 15, 2007 07:32 PM (GMT)
Resei watched with a look close to awe.
he tried to speak, but ended up looking stupid, opening and closing his mouth, in a manner quite like a goldfish.

"Did you..? He was a... How? Are you...? What?"

Rese was in shock. That was even more awesom than he had thought. And that guy had been an Acolyte! Resei was astonished.

"...Make them forget... Use the Force... Transfer thoughts... Eeasier to vocalize...," he mumbled absentmindedly.

He thought for a while, before deciding to make one first attempt. He whiped away his uncertainity before waving his hand randomly in the air.

"You wish to have a cookie," he said randomly, but with a certain force in the voice.
He spoke clearly and loudly, and certain, firm, and though very hard on wanting cookies.
He tried to locate the mind of Remus, and send him waves of Force that carried his thoughts...

Kalin Thalis - November 15, 2007 08:42 PM (GMT)
Remus looked at him... Would Resei really think he could manipulate his master?

"What are you doing, you fool! I said it only works on the weak-minded! You think I'm weak-minded?!"

Remus was a bit in a huff. "No you'll have to find someone weaker. Usually if you focus on someone's thoughts. By concentrating on you're victim's thoughts you'll find out if they are easy to manipulate or not.

"Follow me to the torture room... When prisoners are 'broken'... Their will gets weaker so they are easy victims to manipulate... We'll try to trick someone there..."

lewy - November 15, 2007 09:08 PM (GMT)
Resei grinned vaguely. He had only meant it for a joke, but it could have been fun had it worked!

"That sounds.. as an Acolyte would have said... delightul. At least I could learn something from it!"

He grinned a bit more wide.
Even though he dreaded the thought of going near those areas again he was looking forward to test mindtricks!
He therefore followed Remus to the torture rooms.
At least here they didn't have to disguise its purpose, by, like on mandalore, calling it "torture chambers".
They were honest, if nothing else!

lewy - December 8, 2007 03:43 PM (GMT)
Shooting a last, Kayt Dragon-killing glance at the human, he ventured out into the academy.
The last thing he saw inside the sleeping chambers was that the human force-pushed a Clawdyte down from his bed.
The laughter seemed to follow him all the way to the main hall.
How could he not focus his anger on anything else?
He finally settled with swearing an oath to kick his arse darned well once he got skilled enough himself, and turned is focus to look for Remus. He had said he had something special in mind...

Kalin Thalis - December 10, 2007 12:19 AM (GMT)
Finally Remus appeared on the scene. He seemed to be holding something in his hands and grinned.

"Here's a real lightsaber, so be careful when using it... We're going in the valley... and beyond. It's very dangerous there but you will be able to use your precognition there... Focus your senses... You will need to out there..."

Remus and Resei both left the academy going down the hill into the valley. As they passed the valley Remus looked concerned to the tombs. Something worried him about the tombs. He remembered when Kalin entered them. He managed all right... But he wouldn't want to go ever again in one of them. Not a good place for a Dark Jedi of his kind... They walked further over the valley into the desert. There Resei would be put to the test.

The Desert beyond the Valley

Ayanna Nyx - January 13, 2008 09:10 PM (GMT)
Kalin, Vader and Ayanna made their way back into the Sith Academy with their 'prize' from Aargonar. Ayanna did as Kalin had told her, she kept her mind cleared of thought completely, otherwise Vader would pick up the treachery that was going to take place. Ayanna found herself glancing to Kalin ever so often, she didn't know what to make of him. She almost felt he was too evil to ever be a Jedi, but also to good to be a Sith..... And he would stab the back of either side, making her not sure whether he was trustworthy or not. But he had done much for her to this point, so she was not going to do anything to betray his trust.

She was still no closer to knowing more about Li, he was out there somewhere waiting and watching her no doubt, and there was little she could do about it. She tried not to think about it, and a part of her had given in to the fact that she was probably going to be killed by him, just as their mother was. So instead she tried to keep her thoughts on the present, and this business concerning Kalin.

"So what now......" She spoke quietly to Kalin, "Is there to be a meeting?...... Torturing?...." She grinned a little.

Kalin Thalis - January 14, 2008 02:44 AM (GMT)
"I don't think that's going to happen..." Kalin looked over where they were taking Ventress, "She already had it pretty hard. Vader gave her a good slash in the back... No torture for her... She's going into a bacta tank... Which gives us an advantage... But also a disadvantage..."

Kalin looked back to Ayanna,

"First of all, the security is not so tight in the medical bays... Which won't make it so difficult for us to get inside... But how are we going to come up with a credible story how she got out there by herself in the condition she is now!"

Kalin looked back at where Ventress was taken,

"Maybe we should wait a bit... Maybe we should first concentrate on Li... That IS what Vader expects of us... Then we can concentrate on her... If she's not already dead by the time we return..."

Kalin sighed as he didn't know what path to choose... Luckily Vader was nowhere in sight, so he couldn't hear what they were up to, though no doubt Vader wanted to see them both any time now.

"I guess you still have no idea what to do with Li... Or where he is..." Kalin sighed once again "I have a bad feeling about this..."

Ayanna Nyx - January 14, 2008 10:45 PM (GMT)
She shook her head, "I only know he knows where I am..... Which doesn't make me feel too good but.... What can I do?..... What can any of us do?......" She stopped walking for a moment and looked to Kalin.

"I have an idea concerning 'her'...... But it's tricky.... I don't know why you want to free her..... I don't trust her..... But I will follow you to the end, you know that....... Now listen..... If she escaped from that tank, it would be suspicious, this is true..... But there is a..... Realistic way in which she could escape.... But not befall any suspicious light on us......" She pulled Kalin back a little, trying not to be too suspicious while they were at it, "Listen..... The chamber she's kept in is directly underneath a supporting bridge of the cliffs outside in the valley..... A geological disturbance such as a landslide would be enough to crack through, destroying much of what's in that room..... If it were.....'Encouraged'....... She could be broken out of her bacta tank..... And what do you know..... It gave her the perfect chance to escape..... Wounded, but healed enough to get away......" She stepped closer to Kalin with a sneaky expression, "And also, say she was able to kill one of the pilots at the landing dock and steal herself a transport..... Who'd say where she'd gone........" She smiled slightly, "Then..... You could offer to go and track her down, believing that she may lead us straight to Li...... We store her in our transport...... Take her as far away from here as possible..... Then you can do with her as you wish......"

She became a little uncomfortable as she stood so close to Kalin and backed off, "Considering Li, I think it's pointless for us to look for him any longer..... It's hopeless..... He will find me and kill me when he's ready..... So why dwell on it..... Until that day falls on me, I'll help you however I can....... "

Kalin Thalis - January 15, 2008 01:25 AM (GMT)
Kalin was a little confused at what she proposed,

"Create a geological disturbance? And how do you propose we do that? Besides... If we get her out... We're not going to let her escape... We'll hide her under our supervision... But we can't let her escape again... It will take us a lot more time to find her back again... We need her to get information about Li and this 'Son of the Suns' issue..."

Kalin was a little shocked at Ayanna's behaviour... She seemed to be more on the path of the Dark Side as he hoped her to be... Maybe he couldn't educate her aswell as his own master Remus-Qui... Maybe he overestimated herself. The point was to make her see that things aren't so black and white. To give her a wider view of the Force... But she was getting consumed by the Dark Side, more than he was...

Ayanna Nyx - January 15, 2008 02:40 AM (GMT)
"You are very powerful with the Force Kalin...... Use your skills to move the rocks of the valley, create a terrific landslide..... We will use that opportunity to break her out of the bacta tank ourselves.... We'll drug her..... And stow her away in a place no one will find her while everyone runs around in confusion..... Once we are sent on our way.... We take her with us..... The area is known for geological events..... It would just be terrible luck that she 'escaped' for Vader and the rest of them..... But then you will have her....." She smiled, "It will work.... I know it will..... That way.... No suspicion befalls on us..... She doesn't get away...... It's not going to be easy...... But it's worth a shot.... Otherwise she may be killed and you'll never get the answers you are looking for from her......" She said as she looked back to him, "What do you say?...... Though we will need to plan in advance..... While one you start the landslide and break her from the bacta tank, I will head to the port in disguise and murder one of the pilots there and dispose of his ship.... That will confirm that she.....'Left'......" She didn't like the idea of having to kill an innocent person, but she saw it as necessary.

Kalin Thalis - January 17, 2008 01:09 AM (GMT)
After all the chaos that happened, Kalin found himself between suspicious Sith Masters. They called themselves that way, but in fact there was only one. But there was only one Sith he respected, that being Darth Vader. Being his Assassin was a real honour for him, which he knew many were jealous about, which just gave him more trouble... certainly in a situation as this,

"Where is your apprentice, Kalin... Strange that she left at this moment..." He said in a suspicious tone.

"Well I already told you... She's after Li... Vader requested his death and she is the only one who can find him... I'm using her as bait!" He said to sound as if he was more on the path of the Dark Side, but he was looking for the perfect alibi.

"So you know where she is?!" One asked quickly after Kalin's explanation.

"Well somewhere in the inner rim... I asked her to wait there... Cause we have every reason to believe that Li is hiding there..." Kalin explained but he was only making this up.

"How is that?!" One asked in disbelief.

"The signal on Aargonar... It was leading to a planet in the outer rim... unfortunatly we have no idea where it was going to... But the signal should still be transmitting, so we can pick it up once we get there..." Kalin added to his alibi.

The masters walked away grumpy, they didn't believe much of what Kalin said, but what could they prove? Ventress dissapeared, but there was no evidence to link that with Ayanna's 'mission'... Kalin grinned as he felt his alibi worked. He hurried down the hangar bay and took a Sith Interceptor to find the Thranta. It would be difficult to find it again and he hoped Ayanna wouldn't be in any danger.

Ayanna Nyx - February 26, 2008 03:10 AM (GMT)
Ayanna's journey to Korriban had finally come to an end as she finally landed Remus' ship on the landing platform. She stared out of the window for a moment, this is what she had been fearing but she had to do it now, she had no other choice. She lowered the ramp and began to make her way through the corridors of the Sith Academy. She was a little afraid to run into one of the other masters before seeing Lord Vader, but he was who she feared most of all. But there was no turning back now.

Kalin Thalis - February 26, 2008 03:23 AM (GMT)
The masters glanced at her, but they knew they couldn't do anything now that Vader is present. For a long time Vader just looked Ayanna straight in her eyes.

"So it has come this far, has it..." He said is a cold manner.

Vader turned around to the exit, "Come with me, Ayanna. There is a lot we have to talk about..."

They both walked to the Imperial shuttle, which would take them to the Devastator. Apparently Vader did come here for Kalin, but as he didn't get what he wanted he left with an 'alternate' choice. They both entered the shuttle and Vader said nothing to her yet. Who knew how long he was going to wait without actually saying something. But was that Ayanna's biggest concern now.

Ayanna Nyx - February 27, 2008 02:58 PM (GMT)
Zaria finally landed the ship back on Korriban, though like her alter ego, she was not so fond of returning here, but she was not afraid as she usually was. Her eyes were still set black and her skin so white she looked like a walking corpse, especially with the dark purple veins across her skin and face which seemed now to be even darker. She walked through the halls in search of the masters, entering one of the chambers as she saw them,

"Remus-Qui is a traitor..... And Kalin Thalis is no more.... Consumed by the spirit of..... Exar Kun..... Darth Vader has instructed me to kill him..... And I am obliged to also rid the galaxy of Remus for his treason.... I need to find out everything I can about Remus and I want detailed listings of every arrival...... The Thranta is a recognizable ship.... We need to send out it's details and hope for a response....." She stated with more determination than Ayanna Nyx ever seemed to show. She had confidence and attitude that was not like her.

Kalin Thalis - February 27, 2008 03:47 PM (GMT)
It sounded like music to their ears, that Vader was looking for Kalin and Remus to finally kill them off. The other grand masters of the Academy were never fond of Kalin and Remus as they were jealous that Kalin was chosen to be Vader's apprentice and Remus was also not very accepted in this academy, because his teachings were very different than that of the other Grand Masters here in the academy.

"We have every bit of information in the main terminal about Remus-Qui. You'll find everything what you need in there. Kalin's profile should also be in the terminal, though it is not complete. We never learned much about his history as Vader demanded that his profile was to be terminated when he became his apprentice. Though we were able to save some of it."

Ayanna Nyx - February 27, 2008 04:12 PM (GMT)
At that moment, a pupil entered the chambers to report a message from Remus himself, stating that he and Anakin were on Onderon.

"It's a lie.... Send no message back to him..." Zaria spoke determined but did not wish to speak to them further as she then turned and immediately went to the Terminal. She looked up as much as she could firstly on Kalin, but she had learned more about him through Ayanna Nyx than this collection of pitiful information held. She then looked into Remus-Qui, but there was nothing strange that she could use as help to determine where they had gone, apart from his alternative form of teaching. She couldn't find anything from either profiles that could help her, there was something else. She decided to do as Vader had instructed her to do frequently, meditate. She entered one of the chambers and sat herself on the floor. She meditated for hours., staying calm but using her inner anger as a way to guide her. And then in front of her she saw something, a reminder of her attack from Li.

But why was she being shown this? Li was of no significance to her at this time, but then she began to see the almost red rocky sands of Aargonar. Kalin's homeplanet. She could not hear a thing, only the faint sound of the wind and the blustering sands. her eyes opened, still with that dead blackness. She felt certain of it, they had gone to Aargonar, which she saw as an unusual choice, and the last place she would have originally expected them to go. She raised to her feet, she was not going to report to the masters of this, Vader wanted action, not constantly debating with committees. She walked back out, immediately entering the transport that Vader had given her, then she set herself on her way to Aargonar.

Ayanna Nyx - February 28, 2008 02:38 AM (GMT)
Finally the Thranta came into view of the Sith Academy as it entered the atmosphere. Zaria walked with Kalin and Remus through the halls. Though she was uncertain of what was going to happen. Inside her was constant turmoil. The person that was Zaria was remaining calm and cool, yet still enraged, but there was also Ayanna, scared and alone, suppressed by her alter-self and unable to speak one word. But Zaria did not care, she even wondered if she cared about her own demise, whereas Ayanna certainly did, and also Kalin's fate.

Kalin Thalis - February 28, 2008 02:58 AM (GMT)
It wasn't long before the Dark Lord of the Sith appeared on the scene. He looked at Kalin as well as Ayanna. He felt a lot of disturbance in Ayanna. "Well Kalin, what happened?!" The Dark Lord demanded a full report.
"Well, it's a long story. Once the Sith Lord entered my body, I felt he was getting stronger. When I heard of my mother's fate, my hatred and fear became too strong for me to surpress him. He surely was stronger in controlling it. Thanks to my old master, he was weakened. Ayanna created a diversion and my master was able to take the oppertunity to strike him down. When he was weakened I could feel that his soul was returning to the living Force as I had grown stronger since he had outcasted me out of my own body. I've learned much when I was one with the living force." Kalin explained.
"Yes, I can sense something else about you. It's like you posses this new power, I've never felt before. It's a bit dissapointing you lost your body, due to this Sith, Kalin, but you have once proved yourself by defeating him!" Vader was worried though. If he was capable of defeating Anakin, maybe he would be capable of defeating himself too. Though Kalin only defeated him mentally. How would they stand against each other physically.
"But what will happen now, my master?" Kalin asked.
"I want you back at my side. Things will return to normal and you can take Ayanna back as your apprentice, if you still want her. Consider it a gift for defeating this Sith!" Vader said.
"I don't know if the choice is up to me for Ayanna to become my apprentice again. Is she wants to, I won't refuse her to become my acolyte again... But what about my former master? In the end all he did, was buy time so I could defeat this Sith Lord. Who knows what would have happened if I was killed. Maybe he would have tried to transfer his soul to another one's body. No I don't think he could be defeated physically... And I respect my former master's wisdow in it."

"Very well, his honour shall be restored in the academy Kalin. As I said everything will return back to normal and you shall continue to serve as my apprentice." Vader thought it was a little unfair to Ayanna to take Kalin back. But two things bothered him about her, I could sense a lot of disturbance in her now as if she was in conflict with herself. He didn't trust how she transformed. Though he still was impressed how fast her strength increased in such a short time. But she was not ready yet and too unstable. "I have to go now and deal with other issues. Let this now be done with. I don't want to hear anything about it any longer!" He said a little angered. This business with the spirit of Anakin really stressed Vader. He was only lucky, Kalin was able to defeat him thanks to his former master.

Ayanna Nyx - February 28, 2008 03:37 AM (GMT)
Zaria said nothing as she watched Vader leave, she felt disappointed, but felt that it was her weaker side that had caused this defeat, rather than her herself. She began to walk through the Academy, watching to the other pupils and wondering, though she could not find absolution on what she should do now. Should she follow Kalin just as Ayanna did, or could that endanger Zaria's being? She quickly held her hand to her forehead as she felt the most piercing of headaches, even giving a gasp of pain, but she then again recovered and tried to act as though nothing had happened.

Kalin Thalis - February 28, 2008 03:45 AM (GMT)
Kalin stayed with Remus to talk: "Well that worked out, just as I predicted..."
"Don't get cocky, Kalin, we were lucky this time." Remus replied to him. Kalin simply nodded as he saw Ayanna walk away:
"What do you think will happen to Zaria, I mean will Ayanna return... Isn't their something we can do?" He wondered.
"I'm afraid not. Maybe an old feeling, will make Ayanna stronger so she can win over her alter self, just as you won over Anakin."
"It's so strange. Anakin was thought to be evil. Yet he was a Jedi. And I think the only way he could have entered my body, is that we are so similar in so many ways. It actually frightens me, to be honest..." Kalin said thinking back of the time he fought Anakin in his mind.
"I can understand. But you won Kalin. Don't worry, he's gone now."
Kalin listened to his master's comments, but just sub consciously replied: "Yes....". He was thinking of something that worried him even more. Was Anakin truly gone. In his quarters he looked into the mirror, but couldn't see his own face any longer, but only saw Anakin's reflection. He always had the burning eyes when he looked at himself, while his eyes were still normal blue. Anakin's soul never left him. While he may have defeated him. It would always remain a shadow of his own. Somehow it made him feel stronger, but he couldn't deny that it frightened him. He would be the only one to know about this. It was a miracle, Vader didn't sense it. It was well hidden in his mind, though could he keep it hidden forever?

Ayanna Nyx - February 28, 2008 04:17 AM (GMT)
As Ayanna slept in her quarters, she was in constant confrontation. While she was awake, she was a zombie, and while she slept, both sides competed over and over in a never ending battle. Any who would walk in on her now would see her shaking from head to toe uncontrollably. In her mind, both her alter selfs fought on Cophrigin V, her homeplanet and the planet where her hatred was created. At one side there was Zaria, who stood wielding a red lightsaber, her hair and her eyes blackened and her skin a sickly white with those horrid pulsing purple veins. But on the other side was Ayanna, but not as she was always seen even before these days. She stood in pale robes, similar to her black ones but not exactly. Her skin was golden and her hair the colour of the suns of Aargonar. Her eyes shone as emeralds. But in her hand, she wielded her grandmother's lightsaber.

"You can't win this!!! You don't have what it takes to be a Sith!" Zaria hissed at her.

Ayanna said nothing but held the blade towards her.

Zaria took the chance as they both clashed lightsabers together fiercely. But Zaria, using a Force Push, sent Ayanna crashing backwards into one of the trees.

Zaria laughed uncontrolably, "You see? You are pathetic..... Weak..... The Sith will never accept you...... Only I can proceed through the ranks... I have already sparked interest in Vader, I know it!!!" Zaria said confidently.

"If that is what gives you pride Zaria..... But a place among the Sith is not what I seek...." She said calmly.

"Then you are a Jedi scum!!!" Zaria hissed as they then clashed lightsabers together. Pressing the blades forcefully together, both of equal strength suddenly and unable to move.

"You are so blind Zaria...... So lost in darkness.... You do not even know what it is to walk the light..... I don't know who you are, but I know how you were created..... You were created by my fear..... My fear of loss..... My pain..... My suffering..... You shielded me from my pain..... But you were never meant to consume my soul....." Ayanna spoke.

Zaria merely sneered, "Finders keepers!"

The pair fought once again but this time Ayanna had the upper hand as she entangled Zaria in a maze of vines that she controlled from the ground itself. But Zaria was unable to do anything.

"You see Zaria? This is a skill you do not have..... This skill was passed down to me from my mother..... From my grandmother..... And the gift is not yours to wield..... The truth is, I am not stronger than you, but I am not weaker either....." Ayanna said in a calm voice, "A woman once spoke to me, when I was a child..... I do not recall her name..... Only her face.... She said to me, 'Look within yourself, and you will find that you have strength beyond anything you could imagine.... And if you are ever lost in the darkest of places, always look for the faintest of lights, for the light can be the beacon that will guide you back home'......"

"NO!!!!" Zaria said through gritted teeth as she was still consumed by the vines.

Ayanna smiled, "And now Zaria..... I'm no longer afraid..... And I know what I am......"

"ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Zaria screamed as suddenly beams of light began to burst from her skin until she completely disappeared.

Ayanna suddenly wakened from her sleep, panting and slightly shaken. She looked to her hands with surprise, immediately raising from the bed and looking to her reflection. She no longer had her darker appearance, but not the one she had come to know so well either. She looked as she did in her dream, with her blonde golden hair and golden skin. She sat herself back on the bed as she tried to collect herself, for what was she going to do now?.....

Kalin Thalis - February 28, 2008 04:27 AM (GMT)
Kalin walked with a bad mood through the academy. And the other grand masters weren't pleased to see him back alive either. They really hoped Ayanna would have killed him when he was posessed by the Sith. Little did they know that the Sith was still inside him, but now that Kalin had the upper hand, he could no longer control his body. Kalin was back in control and he intended to keep it that way, but to secure that, he needed to become stronger. He knew he had to. He didn't want to look in the mirror anymore and see the reflection, which was not his own. He wanted to see his own reflection again, no matter what the cost would be. There was only nothing he could leern anymore from his former master. And Vader was too busy to teach him more, but he knew that he could still learn more from Vader. So he wondered if there was a way to reach him and convince him he wanted to go beyond of what he had learned from him. He didn't want to become stronger as Vader. He just wanted to become strong enough so he could keep this Sith Lord under control. Other matters came to his attention how he could accomplish this. Dark thoughts crossed his mind to pick up the courage to blackmail Vader himself with the knowledge he posessesed that he knew Vader's true identity, though he felt it was too risky and perhaps too soon to reveal his hidden card. Other thoughts dwelled on his mother. He thought back of something she said to him: "Look within yourself and you will find that you have strength, beyond anything you can imagine. And if you are ever lost in the darkest of places. Always look for the faintest of lights for the light can be the beacon, that will guide you back home."
That was what his mother always repeated to him when he was just a little boy. It was one of the few words he could remember her saying to him, cause he didn't remember much of her as she died when he was very young. Saiya was always his beacon of light. If he was lost in the dark, he only had to think of her. Though it was now like a new beacon has been lit, that being Ayanna. Though now due to her transformation as Zaria, that beacon was now suddenly destroyed so the only beacon he could count on in the dark was his mother. It was like when she transformed, a part of his strength had dissapeared. The strength to survive in the dark as this place consumed him and it was already very difficult to surive in this place and now with a Sith always lurking behind him, it was getting more and more difficult to follow the beacon of light that was like a symbol of his mother. When he tried to think back of his mother, it made him happy yet sad at the same time. She was the one he treasured the most. Maybe he treasured Ayanna more now or certainly equally as much. Or maybe it was just that as his mother, she was now lost in his life and he deeply missed her, while she wasn't even dead yet. Zaria destroyed something important in his life, which made him then thinking back of revenge. For if Ayanna was truly lost forever, maybe it was the best to kill Zaria. His master tried to teach him otherwise. Always lecturing him 'Revenge' would never pay off. But wouldn't it in this situation? Wouldn't it give him some feeling of satisfaction that he avenged his true love. Cause know he finally could admit it to himself. He loved Ayanna. He just never had the courage to tell her and because of Zaria he might now never have the chance to do so. He loved Ayanna, but his hate for Zaria was maybe stronger. What could stop him from killing her? The rules in this desperate place? No, he was the apprentice of Darth Vader. Why should he listen to any rules, except those coming from Vader himself. He again felt overconfident and thought himself to be better than any other individual in this academy. His pride to be Darth Vader's apprentice got the best of him. He knew Zaria was only chosen to replace him temporary. She was only chosen because Ayanna had an emotional link to Kalin. Unfortunately Vader didn't know at that time that link was lost when she transformed to Zaria. He didn't know that her mother Adanna had set her up from her birth to kill all what remained of the Skywalker family. Since he was a part of the Skywalker familiy, he felt a certain obligation to get rid of the threat against his family. It was still present in her and she was still walking around feely in this academy. How could they have allowed that in the first place? But he forgot it was him who allowed Zaria to walk around freely, cause he couldn't see the change yet in her, at least not completely. But now he saw it and was no longer blinded by the love he felt for Ayanna was his eyes were opened by the hatred he felt for Zaria. Yes it was time to face her and to finish her miserable life once and for all. It was his duty as a Sith Assassin, and his obligation as a Skywalker. It was the only way he could avenge his mother for he could only take revenge on Zaria, but not on Ayanna, so hoping that she would return would be pathetic and pointless. He drew his lightsaber and finally stepped towards Ayanna's quarters, and he knew he would show her no mercy for she never showed mercy to him and from his point of view she also didn't show mercy to his mother, while she wasn't the one responsible. Though Kalin didn't know, his hatred for Zaria was fueled by the shadow that now constantly lurked behind him. Now he was not only endangering Zaria's life but also his own, cause if his hatred became strong enough, then the soul of Anakin would gain the upperhand again, if Kalin would get consumed by his hatred and be weakened by it. Zaria's quarters were only a few meters away now and he was determined to kill her. He ignited his lightsaber and prepared himself to face the monster that killed his mother and Ayanna. But instead of seeing the white zombie with the black eyes and the purple veins, he saw somebody else. He saw a girl with beautiful blond hair, with a golden skin which no longer showed the ugly purple veins, Zaria showed on her skin. He stood finally before Ayanna again, with water in his eyes. He looked at her as he still stood there as if he was in a trance, with his lightsaber ignited. Ayanna herself was a little startled when she saw the lightsaber beam that towered above her. But now that he realized again, it was not Zaria he faced but Ayanna, Kalin turned off his lightsaber and he calmed down from all the hatred that was swelling inside him, while he kept walking around in the academy thinking about the death of his mother and the tranformation that caused Ayanna to dissapear, that felt the same like death itself. He didn't even realize his eyes started to burn when he walked inside her quarters, just as in the reflection he saw in the mirror. But when he saw Ayanna again, they turned back to normal blue and he felt finally more at peace.

Ayanna Nyx - February 28, 2008 05:18 AM (GMT)
Ayanna held one hand up to almost try to stop him when she had seen him enter in her chambers with his lightsaber ignited, but when he hesitated and then switched it off, she finally spoke.

"Kalin...... Are you alright?...." She asked as she walked towards him, "I'm sorry for what happened with Zaria.... I.... I can't explain it....." She looked around to see if anyone else could be listening, "She's gone...... I killed her...... She was my fear, my pain, my suffering solidified..... I fought her in my dreams and..... In the beginning I couldn't fight her..... I was losing, but this time..... Something happened..... I remembered such..... Such strange words..... They would mean nothing to you but.... When I was reminded of them..... I realized that I could defeat her, because she was not me....." She smiled a little, "But things turned out different than I even expected them to..... Perhaps you will even be disappointed now....." She said unsure.

Kalin Thalis - February 28, 2008 03:59 PM (GMT)
"Disappointed? What do you mean. I'm not sure about that. I was now on my way to kill Zaria, as I felt I had lost you forever. I have to admit that I constantly dwelled on the though, she killed as well you as my mother, though Zaria or you weren't responsible. I wanted blood, I wanted to avenge you both, though something clouded my thoughts, which made me think not clearly enough on this matter. I didn't think enough on the consequences. But I am glad you are back, Ayanna. I'm glad things now are fully back to normal. Cause when Vader left and said everything had turned back as they were, I disagreed. I've changed and you had changed dramatically. You became Zaria and I wanted to erase that. That's why I stood here with my lightsaber ignited, but you probably figured that out by yourself." He gave a slight grin, though he didn't know how to feel at this moment. He felt both happy and ashamed, cause Ayanna had returned, but he didn't give her quite a warm welcome she perhaps expected.

Ayanna Nyx - February 28, 2008 04:26 PM (GMT)
She smiled though still showed sorry eyes, "I know..... And if you had come moments before then I would have still been sleeping..... Then I guess we would have known the rest wouldn't we...... Listen.... I have to get out of here.... I can't stay on this planet..... I don't care where I have to go but I can't stay here..... I'm not going to push you into coming but..... I'd welcome your company..... There's much we need to talk about..." She said as she walked over to the door, looking out to ensure that there was no one around, she then turned back to look at him, "I'm glad you're back Kalin.... Though through Zaria you could not tell, I was devastated that you were gone....."

Kalin Thalis - February 28, 2008 04:37 PM (GMT)
"I'm sorry you had to endure so much, the fear of losing me must have encourage Zaria to appear. I only hope she won't come back again. That's the same I hope for myself. I hope Anakin never returns. I know he was more like Vader, but it's confusing calling him like that, isn't it." Kalin then heard some whispering in his head, though he couldn't make out what it was.

"Why do you want to leave this place. I know you don't like it, but you are a Dark Jedi, you chose to be. So we live to serve this place. I want to come with you, but you know I can't stay away from this place forever. I've heard news of Jedi being on Naboo, though I'm not sure I will go myself."

Ayanna Nyx - February 28, 2008 04:47 PM (GMT)
"There's something I have to do.... And I can't talk to you here Kalin...... I fear what would happen..... Come with me to Cophrigin V... After that I will leave then for Aargonar.... Don't ask why just yet..... We can discuss it once we leave...... But soimething has changed in me..... Well not completely..... Just I've now realized something about myself...... I'd prefer to leave before people ask any questions........ " She looked at what she was wearing, though she had chosen it herself, it no longer reflected who she wanted to be. She took a clip and tied her golden hair up, something she had never done before, though she felt a few loose strands. She sighed for a moment, but she was no longer afraid.

Kalin Thalis - February 28, 2008 04:54 PM (GMT)
Kalin had no idea what was going on, but if she wanted to go to Cophrigin V, then it probably had to do something with her grandmother, the Dark Woman.

"Okay, let's get as fast as possible to the Thranta. Then we can reach Cophrigin V in only a few hours if the hyperdrive is fixed."

Both walked in a rush to the Thranta and stepped on board, before the other grand masters could ask any questions. It didn't matter much any way. If they reported his absence for Vader, he would always have an excuse waiting. The Thranta took of and as it left the atmosphere, it disappeared into lightspeed set for Cophrigin V. Now they could finally talk about what was going on, but little did they know, that there was a third passenger on board, sneakily listening.

Ayanna Nyx - August 31, 2008 11:25 PM (GMT)
Ayanna and Kalin emerged from the chambers, Ayanna could barely wipe the smile from her face, it was beaming with both happiness and smugness, "Well concerning my attire, I'll be certain to make some 'changes' for you, it would be my pleasure." She grinned, "Now let's see what those old farts are moaning about this time, I don't think I can stomach putting up with them again."

Ayanna seemed certainly more herself now, not so serious and conflicted as before, she was comfortable finally in Kalin's presence, not rigid.

Kalin Thalis - August 31, 2008 11:40 PM (GMT)
Kalin was curious what those 'changes' would look like. He certainly looked forward to it. Then one of the masters greeted Kalin. Not in a very positive manner though.

"Hi Kalin, you've been away so long. Rumour has it you captured Li again. Though I still think you had a hand in his escape last time. Anyway what was going on in your quarters. We heard loud noises. I could barely sleep!" The master said annoyed.

"Oh it was nothing." Kalin said before the master interrupted him, "It surely didn't sound like nothing!"

Kalin grinned, "Well anyway could you explain what's going on here."

The master responded, "Nothing big. Just some acolyte who thinks he can outsmart us. He'll be hunted down and destroyed..."

"Hmmm, I would hate to be in his shoes right now... Well anyway, we've got to go, duty calls." Kalin said and they both left back for the Thranta. Kalin couldn't help but laugh by the look of that master's face. "What an idiot... Anyway any ideas where you want to go?"
