Zen had lead them to the Refugee sector, he managed to lead the around all the likely mugging and attacking areas.

"I am afraid this is the best area i could bring us to, though if we are indeed going to be training master we will need to find a place that is completly hidden, if any one here can find info to get them money they will use it".
He quickly approached a woman holding a baby, she looked scared of him to begin with. "no need to be worried, Im just new here and i need to know... Who is the elader of this area?".

She pointed to a bearded man in brown, battered robes. Zen gestured for his fellows to walk with him as he approached the man.

"Excuse me sir?" He said with a small smile, "Am i right that you are in charge here?".

"I am" the man said.

"We need some where to stay, nice and quiet, this is my partner", he grabbed Alia's arm. He then looked at the Jedi, "this is her mother, she is ill. we can only wait. we lost everything on Tatooine when some smuggler stole our things, please help us". He looked at the pair of women with him, giving them a chance to speak...

Alia looked a little baffled, "Eh yeah that's right......"

The Jedi smiled a little while passing her fingers in front of her, in a moment, the man began to direct them to their new abode, and left soon after.

Alia spoke, "Woah..... He gave in quick..... Was it my charm?" She said a little cocky.

The Jedi seemed amused by what she said, "The weak minded can be easily fooled, and luckily he will not remember meeting us, but he will know this place is not available to give to another...... Here we can hide, rest, and begin both of your training.... Though I'm concerned about having to teach both of you.... It's not the way of the Jedi..... It would have never been allowed in the days of the Old Republic...."

"Well those days are long since dead...... The Jedi are not in a position I think to be fussy about these things..... May be blunt, but you know it's true...." Alia said as she sat herself on the floor.

"Yes.... You are right...." The Jedi said a little quietly.

"That's quite a nice trick, I never got around to that part with my master....." Alia grinned.

"You were very young clearly when Order 66 happened, I doubt you had much chance to learn anything outside of what you learned in your classes....." The Jedi said as she looked around at the place they would all be calling home for the next while.

"What would you have us learn first master........ actually master should you not tell us your name? even if you are a hiding Jedi, we now have joined those ranks.... So master Jedi please.... What is your name?". Zen semi-pleaded with his new master.

He then turned to Alia, "Im sure my padawan partner would agree".

Alia raised her eyebrow, "Hey, I ain't your padawan boy-o..." She said with a jokey tone.

The Jedi smiled to what he said, "My name is Lamyra..... Concerning your lessons.... First I will help you both feel focused.... To feel the Force around you..... Please..... Sit on the floor..... Cross your legs and sit comfortably with your eyes shut...."

They both followed her instructions and sat on the floor.

"Now..... Clear your minds...... Listen not to just my voice.... Listen to everything that is around you..... Things that are distant.... Far off...... In the next room..... At the other end of the city...... At the other side of the planet..... Focus yourself...... Feel the force flowing all around you....."

She watched as they both followed her instruction,

"Zen..... Now I am going to think of something specific.... An object.... I want you to focus.... And read my mind..... Tell me the image I am thinking of....." She said as she looked to him.

"Its - ummm- its blurry.... i can, can see an image of... Ah the ship, its our new ship.... wait i see somehting deeper, as i feel your mind something its -" Zen's jaw dropped, "Its Vader".

Zen had found that difficult, he could feel everything around him, he could sense the humming from a very small power generator in one of the rooms near by.

"Am i right master?"

The Jedi smiled, "Yes...... I'm surprised you were able to visualise it so easily....." She said as she concentrated again, "Try one more..... Concentrate..... I am thinking of something very specific...... Concentrate....." She said as she closed her eyes.

Alia watched both of them, she did not seem to be so impressed as she had done training of this kind when she was just a child

Zen tried to focus, the Jedi master was obviously trying harder to block him this time, it was clouded and he could not see.... "I can't.... Its dark, clouded.... Wait" Something began to emerge.
"I can see, The... the Jedi symbol?" He half questioned.

Was that to easy? He was unsure.... Either way he was about to find out...

She sighed, "That is correct..... It is surprising how well you were able to tune into what I visualised so easily...... Not for now.... I want both of you to decide which skills you would like to concentrate on..... Do you have any skills in mind that you would like to focus on?" She asked to Zen.

"I am already a historian of sorts but in times like these, i believe the best course of action would be to learn a mixed aspect of the force, both the combat and force side of being a Jedi, like the ancient Jedi Sentinel". Zen looked to his master, "I would also like to learn the ways of the Jedi healer... i want to help where ever i can".

He smiled, never in a millions years in all of the galaxies did he think he would become a Jedi...

"Excellent choice...... It is something that will take a great deal of time to learn..... But I have faith that you will be able to accomplish it.... Nar Shaddaa indeed is a fortunate place for you to begin your training.... If we walk around the Refugee sector then we are likely to find many people who would need our help. Though in these times we must be careful.... We must disguise out help as medical rather than being the ways of the Force..... If rumours run about 'magical healers', then we could find ourselves in very great danger..... But I am glad of the skill you have chosen... It is a good insight into the Jedi you will one day become........ Come then..... Let us look for someone who could use our help..... Either the very young or the very old would be our best options......" She spoke as she raised to her feet, waiting for Zen to follow her.

"I guess I'll wait here.... I'm not so interested in healing.... No offense..." Alia spoke to the Jedi.

"It is your choice of course..... You can focus on meditation if you wish....."

Zen followed the Jedi into the open area of the refugee sector, people where everywhere, He spoke quietly to himself, "You think the all mighty empire would do something about this...".

He carried on walking with the Jedi for a short while untill he noticed an elderly man sat alone, he was holding his side and coughing badly, "Master Lamyra?" Zen said to the Jedi.

She nodded, "Yes..... Let us try..... First, I want you to concentrate..... What is his illness..... Focus very hard until you see what the problem is..... When you have an idea of it..... Tell me....." She said as they began to make their way over to the old man who was still coughing.

The man coughed again, this time blood spat onto his hand.
"I believe he has a broken rib that has caused an internal bleed". Zen said, fairly confident.
He looked at the man in pitty, he then looked to his master.

Lamya looked to Zen nodding, "Now..... Concentrate on the wound..... See the broken bones.... The torn tissues..... And will them to heal.... The force is in everything..... Will it to rejuvenate what has been damaged..... But slowly..... Focus and control it..... If you can manage it..... Let it heal slowly.... The contrast could prove too much for this old man..... I will help you if you go too far....." She said as she encouraged Zen to begin.

OOC: Just in case you didn't see the announcement, me and Kalin are going to Scotland for a week as of tomorrow, so if I take a while to reply, it's not because I've forgotten about you ok? :) I'll reply as soon as I possibly can :) You're about to get your first Jedi skill under the belt ;)

IC: Zen looked at the old man, he put out a hand, concentrating on the old mans injuries. He focussed his will and everything he had into it. The man stopped coughing and actually looked a little better, Zen could feel the body parts healing themselves within the mans body, the torn flesh coming back together, the broken bones reforming, blood flowing back into the right places. It made him feel... good, good to know he was helping another.
"I-its working master". He said to the Jedi

Lamya smiled as she too concentrated, "Good.... Just keep yourself focused......" She said ash she edged him to continue. She sincerely hoped that he would be able to heal the man completely, for if he did then Zen would have impressed her with his skills, considering he had only just begun to learn the ways of the Jedi.

Zen continued to focus his energy, the man began coughing again this time no blood was seen, he then felt his chest and his throat, feeling the healing process taking place, "Its amazing@ Zen said aloud, "i can feel the healing, i can feel which tissue needs healing and which does not".
He pulled his arm down and stopped focusing, "Master Lamya, i think i have done it".

Indeed Zen was able to heal him, but he was still in bad shape.

"Yes you were able to help him... Now he will certainly recover with ease... You felt his energy... You used yours... That is how the Force works... It flows through all of us... And by your hands you have made it possible for this man to heal... I am proud of you, Zen..."

Lamya herself still concentrated on this man. He still had some injuries that could damage Zen's work as a Force Healer. She concentrated to heal the man as best as she could, securing his life.

"Use the Force... Use it for good and your path as a Jedi will be secured...Do not walk off it... Focus on your destiny and avoid the Dark Path... I will help you to do so..."

"The dark path, master i could never, with all its temptations and all of its so called power, i could never".
He thought for a moment, of Darth Vader the Sith lord of the empire...
"I could never be like Vader".
He looked to the man, he wanted to tell him how he had suddenly healed, but to do so would most likely give them away.

"Come.... You have done well for today.... We must return to our residence and rest.... We have made a long enough public appearance for ourselves I think....." Lamya said as she watched to the man who was now sleeping after being healed.

Zen and the master Jedi made their way back to their current home, He was excited he had started the path to the Jedi, but as he would most likely learn, he tried to control his emotions.
As they entered the make shift building, he noticed Alia was actually meditating, "Not so sinical any more?" he joked, he did not give her chance to finish, he started to explain what had happened, "I actually healed him", he said. "I could feel his broken bones and tissue... AND I HEALED IT". He got very excited then calmed himself again.

Alia gave a slight snigger, "Arrogance already....." She said shaking her head jokingly.

Lamya sat herself in one of the corners of the room as she began to think to herself. She seemed to be somewhat troubled.

Alia continued to laugh, "So what's on the menu for your next lesson? Learning how to levitate small rocks?" She said sarcastically. She seemed to have a bad opinion of all the teachings that was going on, perhaps a part of her was troubled being reminded of the old times, but she would never willingly admit that to anyone.

"Both of you should now rest..... I feel that we will soon have to leave this planet already..... Something is luring me to Coruscant... Yet I am uncertain why....." Lamya spoke suddenly, breaking Alia's concentration.

"Coruscant?! Fantastic! Count me in!" Alia said in delight.

"Woh" Zen said at Alia's mood change, "Some one likes coruscant". He stopped and looked more serious now, "why do you hate all this so much? what is it, is it being reminded of the past, the idea of taking up your old teachings again, or can you not be bothered... or is it pain...Do you still miss your master".

He noticed she was becoming angry, "I do not mean that in any bad way at all, i just want to help if there is something troubling you".

Alia sniggered slightly, "Oh I don't need any kind of help thanks..... So when are we going?" She asked quickly to get out of the subject.

Lamya responded, "Soon.... Is there anything else here that you have to do before we leave?....." She asked to both of them.

Alia shook her head, "None.... Let's just get out of here.... It's depressing....."

"Agreed, i believe that even with my training to become a healer there is still way to much illness and disease here".
He bowed to his master, "I am ready when you are master jedi".
