Title: The Great Tower
Description: Ray's hangout

RayCaptain - October 12, 2007 01:04 AM (GMT)
Ray arrived at the tower and noticed his perfect view of the beautiful temple and everything else on this side of Yavin 4. It was smaller than he'd thought though. Only about as big as a large bedroom but it'd be big enough. When he got out he noticed a planted laser turret and he fond it odd that it was not ancient but was manufactured only 2 years ago...He pulled his pistol and search for any way to his position via walking but there were no paths. To get here someone had to use an aircraft. He set up his shelter and started cooking a part of the bird. A few minutes later it was ready to eat so he sat down and try to ignore a new suspicion of military forces here but it wouldn't go away. It was probably a secret Imperial Base which sucked for Ray because if he was found AWAL then he couldn't imagine the consequences...

"Oh no..."

He'd been gone from The Devastator for at least two and a half weeks now and he knew they'd send a search party, put up pictures, and other stuff...or maybe, just maybe, they’d put him as M.I.A.. That'd be nice but Ray knew it wouldn't happen because someone from Bespin or Coruscaunt or even Korriban would tell. DANGIT!!! Ray hadn't meant for it to go this far. He just hated being on that ship. He just wanted a little fun but now look at him. He'd shot a Sith, went AWAL on active duty, and was wounded!

"Argh! KALIN WHERE ARE YOU?!” He screamed at the top of his lungs.

The yell echoed through the dense jungle and Ray covered his mouth and gasped as birds flew out of the jungle and it went silent. He crawled and peaked over the edge of the tower to see if anyone had come to check it out. To Ray's dismay there were two armed men walking towards the tower...FROM THE TEMPLE! They weren’t Storm Troopers or anything though...they didn't even where a particular uniform. Where they hunters or stranded men? It hadn't crossed Ray's mind that maybe-

"Rebels? Oh please no!” He whispered to himself.

It all made since: the rockets, the tunnel with lights, the distant voices of men, and the un-uniformed men with guns. He watched as the men stopped at the edge of the tower and slowly looked up. Ray slunk back down and prayed he'd hadn't been seen or set an alarm. He waited for the longest time before looking back and when he did there were not two men but six or seven men. All armed and on lookout. Ray was stuck and sooner or later they’d find him.

"I'm an Imperial Assassin I can kill them...or at least beg for mercy,"

He dressed in his robes and hid his Clone Armor under the seat of the Missing Hope. Ray rubbed some mud into his skin and added a few minor details so not to be recognized. Then he put his Holdout Blaster in place in the sleeve and he grappled down the back side of the wall. He walked around front and was met face-to-face with a Blaster Rifle.

Ray spoke quickly, "Pleasesirdon'tshootI'lldoanything!"

The Rebel cocked his eyebrow and looked at Ray odd, "What language are you speaking in boy?"

Ray felt his heart sink and he slowed his speech, "I said please don't shoot....please," Ray gave a sligh pathetic whimper and the Rebel pulled the gun away.

"How'd you get up there boy? Don't you know this is restricted area to civilians?"

Ray hadn't looked at the man before but he did now. He was about 40 and looked very rough. He had grey hair and one eye shut with a huge scar on it. His voice was ruff and as low as distant thunder.

"Didn't you here me boy? I asked you why you were up there,"

Ray let the words stumble off, "I'm sorry sir. I-I can't f-find the Refugee C-Center. I heard y-you took in people oppressed by t-the Empire,"

The man looked gloomy but understanding, "We're all oppressed by that damned poison called the Empire..."

Ray nodded to show confirmation. The man called over the already approaching others.

"This boy-" He turned to Ray, "Sorry I didn't catch your name son,"

"Um...Tymon Underlun," Ray had learned to use this name in time of need, "Please though, call me Ty,"

"Ty here heard we took in refugees,"

The others rolled there eyes as if put in between a rock and a hard place. They muttered a few words and finally one seemed to take charge and went up to Ray. It was a lady about 20 she had long blond hair and eyes that shot right through Ray. She grabbed his hand and lifted his robe sleeve to expose the Holdout Blaster. The others raised there guns halfway as if Ray was going to try and fight of that many people.

The man pushed Ray back and half way yelled, "Why are you here?!"

"I told you I thought you took in people,"

"Alright and how did you know about us if even are best friends weren't told?"

Ray hadn't thought about that. After a few seconds the man knocked Ray back again and this time he'd swiped Ray's weapon.

"Ow! Alright, alright I'll talk to you. I have a friend with the Alliance and he knows my situation. He said come here and ask for help,"

The lady blurted out immediately, "I'll except that answer,"

The older man though was still unconvinced but he motioned everyone back to the temple. The young lady stayed back and when the others were out of earshot she came to him and whispered.

"You idiot, the Empire thought you'd got killed!"

Ray stepped back and gave a dumbfounded face, "What is your problem lady?"

She seemed to get angry and she pulled him back close to her head and again whispered, "Lieutenant Ray Captain I am Major Senh Misomi, spy of the 103rd. Now don't play dumb with me!"

Ray was stunned, "How'd you know did they-"

Ray was interrupted when a soldier ran up and asked, "Uhm...coming?"

Senh turned and nodded as she whispered one final thing, "Address me as Leona and I'll cover for you,"

They walked towards the Temple.
