Family: His father and mother is poor, and had to leave the one-year old Tal to be raised by his uncle, a wannabe-nobility and a gentleman.

History: At the age of one he was given to his uncle to be raised.
The commonly accepted theory is that the uncle badly wanted a child of his own, and since the ladies had their own ways of drifting past him, he wouldn't get one soon.
Another no doubted more correct, is that he thought a little child would attract ladies, hopefully half-nobles, so that he could be accepted as at least a half-noble himself.
His whole life has been the life of a gentleman, and he knows how to manage himself in courtly relations.
His uncle also taught him the importance of having a fit body, and besides the vibroblade-duelling he takes push-ups, sit-ups etc.
He also takes long trips, often running, on the plains.
From the age of thirteen he has been interested in the arts of finance and business, and he hopes one day to run his own company.
Also, his uncles dreams of becoming a nobility has been planted somewhere inside him.
Politics has also nearly always interested him, so perhaps his ultimate goal is to become the financial advisor of the Emperor?
In the later years he has also grown more interested in the female parts of the population, more than just as interesting conversational partners, and objects to train ones charm and manners on.
Finding out that some also held him as interesting was, besides quite a shock, as he had never thought of himself as handsome or anything like that, a pleasure.
From the moment he stole his first kiss under the rosebush in his uncle's garden, he has dreamt of finding 'the one', and perhaps making a family.
Also, there are his parents.
He feels guilty for living so good in his uncle's home while they are living in the poorer areas of the city, barely managing.
As if that wasn't enough, his uncle has seemed to find love with a younger woman, a "half-half-nobility".
What will happen if they have a child?
Will that make him... superficial?
Something to spare?
Will he be sent back to the poor life with his parents?
These thoughts make him frustrated, as he tends to think they put his own family in a bad light, as if he himself despises them.
He has always had a good relationship with his uncle, and it is not likely. But still...
The main threat is the tremendous amounts of influence his new aunt has over his uncle.
Not only will this make himself act more careful, and suspicious, while in company of women, it may also jeopardise his future position.
And now that he is soon going to study in the academy, he will have less time at home to balance the weight into his favour.
Perhaps he must make haste with his plans of making a family on his own?

...And the reason that he keeps calling his uncle 'uncle' and not 'dad' or something like that?
Because his uncle thought (and Tal agreed) it sounded more sophisticated!

Okay we approve it. Well done on the secondary character ;)

What you will need to do is add some of your character details to your signature. The most important being credits. Now, whenever you gain more credits with experience, it is up to you who you give the credits to. Your primary or secondary character. However, you can not exchange credits between characters that have been earned. Best to have a little read through the rules concerning secondary characters, just so that you are refreshed on what is expected. :)

Of course, your new character starts with 500 credits as normal.

OK, thank you! I'm gonna read the rules right now.
Or after I've edited my signature, that is.

Thanks again! :)
