Title: Royal Hangers

Padmé - January 9, 2007 12:16 AM (GMT)
These hangers are for use only of the Queen and her forces. The hangers have been the subject of outside battle in the past, but in recent years it is kept under strict supervision.

Padmé - April 17, 2007 02:58 PM (GMT)
Queen Breha's ship landed safely inside Queen Kylantha's hanger. There were handmaidens of the Naboo Queen there to greet them with flowers, and also as an aid for the company.

Saiya walked down the ramp of the starship, with Jin-Ho closely behind with the other handmaidens. Queen Breha and Princess Leia walked ahead of them.

Jin-ho - April 17, 2007 04:28 PM (GMT)
To the casual onlooker, Jin-ho didn't appear to stand out amongst the Alderaan handmaidens. Yet the girl kept her eyes glued on the Handmaiden walking in front of her, using her full concentration to mimic the more experienced woman's movements to that of her own. It was all she could do, feeling as if the blood in her veins had been replaced by adrenaline as her heart beat in her throat.

Saiya might have been able to hear the girl's ragged breaths, and feel the nervousness and tension coming off of her red headed pupil in waves.

Padmé - April 17, 2007 06:44 PM (GMT)
Saiya turns to Jin-Ho and the other handmaidens.

"There has been a situation at the palace this night, the security is now extremely high so we will have to be searched thoroughly. I know it's not flattering but it is neccessary to ensure security....."

Saiya walks over to Jin-Ho to talk to her personally as a trainee.

"It appears that there was a break in at the Palace last night, the Queen is rather shaken but there was no attempt on her life at all. Just some data was accessed, although 2 guards died for it so it must've been pretty important to go to that trouble...."

Jin-ho - April 17, 2007 07:50 PM (GMT)
Jin-ho felt herself tensing up like a coiled spring at the first announcement, and even moreso at the second. Two guards died. Palace guards, meaning they wouldn't have been your average green recruit.

Like her.

The girl's breathing sped up and deepened, as she now imagined a hidden threat behind every corner, and it didn't occur to her that her fingers were staring to tingle, being one of the first signs of hyperventilation. Trying desperately to push down the levels of stress, she took a couple of (relatively) slow deep breaths, which would be audible to the others in her group.

Padmé - April 22, 2007 08:42 PM (GMT)
The Royal Family of Alderaan and all conterparts were escorted quickly through the underground walkways to the palace. Normally they would have been forturnate to walk through the Plaza, if they were not too suspicious, but now was not the time.

And after a firm and hasty march, they arrived at the Royal Palace....

Amelia Rose Fitzwalter - July 14, 2008 01:19 PM (GMT)
Several weeks after leaving the planet, Queen Kylantha's ship returned and landed gently in it's hangar. With a hiss the doors slid open, and the Queen herself walked out, followed by Amelia, the other handmaidens and a handful of guards, who escorted them all back to the main Palace.

Amelia was tense as she followed behind the Queen. She hadn't liked the idea of returning so soon, especially seeing as there had been no word from anyone that the intruders had been caught, or if even an investigation had gone on in their absence. For all she knew, they were walking right back in to a trap.

But when she'd voiced her concerns to the Queen, Kylantha had just laughed and told her she was being paranoid. If there was going to be an attack, it would have happened by now. There had been nothing to stop anyone from following them to Coruscant and carrying out the attack there, yet all had been peaceful, and the Queen had eventually tired of the hustle and bustle, and expressed her desire to return home once more.

"But you could be in danger," Amelia had tried once more to voice her concerns, but again, the Queen wouldn't listen.

All she said in reply was, "I guess you'll just have to protect me, then."

Not at all satisfied with this answer, Amelia knew better than to argue, however, and had reluctantly agreed to the Queen's decision to return. But just because she'd agreed to it, didn't mean she had to like it.
