Damien having put his groceries up, once again traveled back into town and this time to the royal palace, as this is where Amelia said she was staying the night at after all.
Any palace guard that would be watching or looking at him, can see he is smart enough not to be armed. The only thing he seems to be carrying on him is a belt worn over his shoulder.
The young man approaches a guard at the huge palace doors after walking up the stairs and in his son of a noblemans voice and tone " Excuse me my good man, while visiting the local plaza, I came across a charming young woman. " he pauses before continuing " She has Chocolate Brown Eyes and Chestnut Brown Hair.."
with his right hand, he gestures her height (5'2") " She comes to about here and has on a magnificent black outfit with whiteish gold trim on it.."
Damien pauses to let this sink in. " Her name is Amelia and she told me she was staying here for the night and I just came by to give her this.." gesturing to the belt " she was looking for a belt to complete her outfit, as well as mentioning to me that it was her birthday.." pauses before going on "and I thought this would make a nice gift."
said in a friendly tone, and he awaits for the guards response in a non threatening mannor/posture.
One of the guards looked to him, "I will give the item to her.... I'm sorry but we can have no guests here who have not made an appointment with the Queen.... And those are restricted to certain individuals.... Hope you understand.... I will tell Amelia to contact you if she desires..... Move along now..."
The guard turned to seek out Amelia with the gift, turning and leaving the entrance hall. Other guards watched the stranger carefully, making sure that he left quietly.
Damien would leave, not puting up a fight or what have you as that is not the way to make a good impression, but would return a day later then walk up to the same guard and asks him..
"Hello again my good man, but I was wondering where I could go to about finding some means of employment within the palace, as by my trade, im a sailor and am "decent" with boats (being modest).."
he asks to him, hoping that he can be pointed into the right direction.
"I'm sorry but there are no jobs going at the moment.... If you want to seek employment then I suggest you look into Theed.... The Queen and her staff are very particular about who they hire...." The guard spoke as he stood at the doorway.
