(OOC: Just a short post to start something before I leave. I may edit while I come back, tho, and naturally, if the admins wants to edit to make it more cannon, as I do not have the time to check wookieepedia for details before I'll have to get some sleep.)

Surrounding the lake hiding the underwater world of the Gungan is a forest.
As many creatures can be found in here, it is said, as beneath the surface.
And Resei and 'Roar' were indeed looking for a rare species. A Jedi.
Rumored to hide in theese woods.
It would eventually be Resei's first Jedi...

Checking and double-checking the equipment for the five-houndred-and-ninethy-nineth-millionth time, they readied for the journey...

"Well, Roar... You lead on."

Following 'Roar', Resei soon found hoimself in the forests.
They snuck through it, now, looking around for traces of the Jedi.
For a long time they searched the woods, until they found an abandoned camp.
They examined it, and finally 'Roar' spoke.

"This is hers camp. I'd say she left two days ago. From here we may find more tracks. It's now the hunt begins. Feel ready?"

"I'm always ready," Resei replied, before again entering the woods.

More woods... Why can't those Jedi hide on an open plain? Darn!

For hours they walked, following tracks. Everytime they thought they were closing up, it seemed the Jedi had suddenly vanished, and they had to waste time to refind the tracks.
After another while of forcing themselves through the thick underbushes, Resei suddenly got the feeling of being watched.
From the way some of the Wookie's fur started to rise, he felt it too.
Resei held his lightsaber-handle in a tight grip where it hung at his hip.
Everything was so quiet... Deadly quiet...

OOC: Since Taves has retired for now, I will be handling his posts. So I will be the one posting as the wookiee. Just so you know and of course Ayanna will post as the Jedi.

A voice echoed from the trees,

"You have come so far just to find me young one... What is it you seek truly? Wealth? Glory? Or something more significant? Peace..."

The voice seemed to come from all sides making it indistinguishable to determine where the person was. It seemed to be referring to Resei.

"...Peace... What a wonderful, grand word... Like a glorious remnants of a time long lost, long forgotten... How is Peace even possible in this Galaxy? I am here to kill you. Only because I am old to. But is that truly what I want? Is that truly what I seek?
Any man or woman, guilty or innocent, whose life I end, I try and trick myself to believe is a step towards peace.
But I am not really doing that, am I...
The only ones who tries to lead the Galaxy into a lasting, good peace is the Rebels. And the Jedi.
And here I am, supposed to kill one... But that is not what I seek.
I seek only to fulfill my destiny, however small, and seemingly unimportant. A good thing to stribe for, a goal that will always be achieved... Though no one can know what it is, as destiny is clouded, shruded... Any step may change it, and bring new possibilitys...
Well, it seems it is time for me to be silent, before I truly start sounding like an old Jedi..."

All the time while he had been speaking, calmly and firm, he had calmly let his eyes scan the surrounding forest, not finding any trace of the Jedi.

"You make the first move, I suppose. Or we could keep speaking. You decide."

'Roar' pointed at his head and shook it pointing out to Resei to his lessons. Don't let the Jedi screw with your head, it will distract you or take over over you! Stay focused on the mission. Don't listen what a Jedi says...Go immediatly for the kill when you can!

He pointed forwards as though where the sound of the voice seemed to be coming from and he leaded the way. Taking his weapon, but since this was a lesson for Ressei he would only be there for back-up Resei had to go for the kill, not the Wookiee himself.

Resei sighed. He guessed 'Roar' was right.
For a moment there he had felt so... so sad... so... old, tired...
He felt a pang of symaty for the hiding Jedi, before shaking his head, clearing it.
He was a proffessional killer. That was what he did. Taking lives...
He followed the Wookiee into the forest, now helding his lightsaber in his hands, ready to turn it on and fight at a split second.
He would be having to go for the kill.
He knew it. They both knew it. Or, perhaps, he corrected himself, they all three knew it...

The voice spoke once again, "There is a light inside of you... One greater than you realise... But if you continue on the path which you are now taking.... Then it will fade and die.... And then nothing will be able to save you.... Ask yourself what you truly seek.... Is this your true self?...."

The figure finally emerged, dressed in a dark cloak. On the belt, a silver hilt of a lightsaber was visible, but not in hand. The Jedi was not threatening either of them, and instead tried to show they meant no harm.

Resei grinned and rose his lightsaber. This was easy!
But something stopped him. And it was not the force.

"...It started out as a revenge. It was me against society. Now the tusken are dead... I have... killed. Many people.
What you say now seem... Impossible.
I thought... I thought I had... no, I thought light had abandoned me so long ago...
But now...
Look at me!" he suddenly roared, looking frustrated up in the sky.

"I have become what I was never supposed to. In my hunt for revenge, murder and death I have abandoned, and been abandoned by, the good in life...
Look at me! I am killing innocents! I am facing a Jedi, who has done nothing wrong, but being what she is!
My revenge never went this far.
My revenge ended after my first kill.
But I ignored that... I never saw!
...My... My mother... What would she say? This is not what she wanted.
Perhaps have I never avenged her... Perhaps I only avenged me...
Do I deserve this? Do I deserve a second chance?
A chance to truly avenge my mother. By simply being good.
Abandoning the path into darkness..."

He looked directly at the Jedi. Such a good person...

Resei laid on the ground. His back... It hurt!
But the other kids were gone. Instead a man stood abowe him.
Such kind, blue eyes. Seeming to see deep, deep inside his soul.
They smiled at him. His mouth smiled at him. Not the fake, polite smile of a politican or a merchant, but the true and honest smile of a true and honest man.
He wore his hair in a strange fashion.
Long, and with a braid.
He stretched out a hand, and helped him up.
He smiled again, and patted Resei's hair.
Resei smiled, and held out his hand.
Smiling even wider, the man took it, letting Resei lead him to his home.
Well inside, his mother looked shocked.
She gave the man a strickt look, and hurriedly pushed Resei out of the way.
Conn, held his shoulders tightly, and pulled him gently in towards the livingroom, to play.
Then the two adults went in to the bedchamber...

...Only minutes later, the two of them came out, together.
is mother smiled at the man, and, eyeing Resei, she smiled at him, too.
Resei did not know, but still he knew.
They had only been talking.
His mother seemed so... Happy.
Happier than she had been since his father...
The man wore a kind, sad smile.
A compassioned smile.
His mother smiled at him, and he walked slowly out.
While passing by Resei and Conn, the last holding Resei's shoulders in a loose grip, as he, too, had understood, Resei heard a voice.
Inside his head.

"You will manage. The Force will be with you..."

When the man was gone again, his mother smiled even wider.
So did Resei. And so did Conn.
Then his mother started laughing. They all laughed.
The laughter almost, for the short while it lasted, filled the hole in their hearts.

The man had been a Jedi.
Revan knew.
He had given them new, fresh hope.
He had helped them to survive the time before Tatooine.
And no Resei faced one of his kin.
Was killing her a way to repay some of..
No. It was no debt. Somehow he knew, the Jedi had not wanted to bind him.
But it was still not right to kill a Jedi after what one had done for them.
And none of his family were bad persons. Or had been.
His father, his mother- they had been good persons.
His mother had only sold her body for her children to survive.
His brother, Conn- aside from playing with Resei all the time, being both an idol and a best friend, he had gone of to join the Alliance.
A whole family of good.
And them him. Facing a Jedi, with a lightsaber, to kill her.
It was not right.
Furthermore, he realised- it was not him...

"I am sorry, my furry friend, but I cannot do this."

He sighed, and turned his lightsaber off.
He looked into the eyes of the Jedi, ignoring 'Roar's' roars.
So deep, kind eyes, seeming to see deep, deep into the muddy waters in his soul...
He looked down, and the tears started coming.

The wookiee looked angered at Resei, frowning it's big eyes at him. He grabbed his lightsaber in one hand while keeping his blaster pointed at Resei in his other hand. The wookiee growled hinting at Resei that if he did not kill the Jedi, Roar would do it instead and he would kill Resei also.

He kept his finger tightly on the trigger while igniting the lightsaber facing the Jedi. Though he was outnumbered, he was a very well known Jedi hunter. Maybe he was overconfident but the wookiee was certainly not to be underestimated.

The Jedi finally stepped into the light, taking down her hood. From her appearance she was in her early forties though her skin glowed with youth. Her face showed that she was indeed kind and not wanting to harm either of them.

"Please... Calm my friends... You do not need to attack me nor any Jedi... We are not your enemy...." She said in a soft tone.

The wookiee roared once more and tried to slash at the Jedi first as he did not see Resei as a large threat yet. It was the Jedi who was the real threat.

As he swayed his arm to the Jedi, she very quickly grabbed her own saber in her hand and removed the wookiee's arm. It fell onto the leave covered ground with a thud, still holding onto the hilt of the lightsaber. He roared out of pain but quickly recovered pointing his blaster at Resei.

"Kalm down, Krane!" For once Resei used the wookiee's real name.
"Haven't you already been humiliated enough for today?"
He turned to face the Jedi.

"That was some good fighting. I was just wondering, you must forgive me for being so direct... If I turn to the light... I mean, not that I need a reward to, but hypotetcally... Would you take me your apprentice, and train me to become a Jedi?"

Krane roared once more, he definetely did not want to give up this fight. He changed the position of his blaster to the Jedi as she was responsible for this mess. He fired the blaster but the Jedi quickly deflected it with her saber right into his chest. He fell to the ground dying, giving one last roar to Resei out of anger for his 'betrayal'. He could still feel the life inside him though he was not capable of defending himself or do anything in this situation.

The Jedi looked to the wookiee as it lay on the ground, then looked to Resei,

"You wish to train to be a Jedi? In such dark times as these, our kind are hunted down as you know.... In the times of the Old Republic, we had friends all over the galaxy, now only there are enemies who hunt us down for revenge or for rewards.... But if you wish to follow the path of the light.... Then you must leave behind everything you knew of.... I will be leaving this planet.... As your presence and that of this wookiee shows that it is no longer safe here.... If you wish to come along... Then I will be happy for you to accompany me... Then we can discuss what options there are.... For someone like you...."

Resei bowed.
He felt a sudden pang of sadness as his gase swept over the big, furry creature on the ground.
A tear slowly sarted its journey downwards, accompanied only by silence.

"I am sorry, Krane. It just... It just didn't feel right. No, It wasn't right."
Turning again to the Jedi, he said:

"I will follow you on this journey for safety, and a journey into the light."

He walked over to the Wookiee, and bent down.

"I think he is still alive. Barely. Do you do anything?"

(OOC: Me and Amelia have gotten sort of a plan to meet afterwards... So if the Jedi could just try to get us some transport, leaving me to wait in the city?)

"He will live..." The Jedi said looking down to the wookiee, "He will be alright.... For now, we have to look for transport.... Sadly this will take us into the public arena.... We must go to Theed... And I will try to gain us a ship... Something.... Anything to get us off this planet... But we must travel quietly... Do not let anyone know who you or I are... Never give your real name... Now that you have betrayed your friend and those you hunt for... There will also be a bounty on your head... Even if you join me or not...."

The Jedi began to walk, heading in the direction of Theed, though it would take many hours to get there.

Resei took a breath, before taking the first real steps on his journey into the light, following the Jedi.
He guessed he was Revan Ebony again...

Hours later, the Wookiee began to wake.
Furry made his eyes close to red.

Traitor! I trained him! Just wait till Boba Fett learn this...

"Traitor!!!!" He roared, so loud that the birds in the trees flew away, scared.
He had to tell Fett, quickly. And then, he was going to Bounty Hunt...
After he had gotten a new arm, of course!

(OOC: Hope you don't mind me remoting him? After all, he is Mandalorian property, meaning, at the moment partly mine property! lol :P )
