Taves woke up as they were arriving at Alderaan. He hadn't noticed how tired he was until he landed into his seat. It felt good to finally have gotten some sleep. He stepped off of the ship, still clothed in his robes he wore on Tatooine to cover up his Mandalorian armor. He walked around the port looking at things he hadn't seen before.
Suddenly he bumped into a man in an employee's uniform. "Oh I'm sorry sir I... Hey its you." Taves looked at the man. It was the old beggar he had met when he first had come to Alderaan. He had cleaned up, and now it seemed he was working in the platform terminal. "Oh thank you so much. I've been meaning to give you this money back." He tried to hand Taves one hundred credits, but Taves refused. "No, no you earned that money. If there's anything I'd want you to do its to give it to someone who needs it." The man looked at Taves, giving him a wide grin. "Alright, well thank you again." Taves shook the hand the man had extended to him. "Anytime" he said. He walked off smiling.
It was an odd thing. What Taves had done recently was a rather interesting corollary to his earlier life. As a Bounty Hunter he had hunted people down, and made their life miserable. In his new life as a Royal Guard he was going to help make people's lives safer. As a Bounty Hunter he had tracked down Jin-Ho, and tried to kill her. In his new life he had helped Jin-Ho to capture an enemy of the Rebellion. At the close of his life as a Bounty Hunter he had helped a beggar get on his feet. Now at the metaphorical champaign bottle hitting the ship of his new life he had seen the fruits of his labor. "It feels good doesn't it?" said the voice. "Yes" said Taves. "Yes it does."
