Title: Disembark

Cory had finally gained access to land from the security officers of Alderaan. She had only visited the planet once in her lifetime but she was too young to remember her visit. During the journey over she had fallen asleep and woken up several times covered in sweat and tears. She had been having a few nightmares about what really took place inside Jabba's Citadel. What went on she would never know and in all honesty she Didn't Want to Know. She left Diego's death alone because she knew that his death was part of something bigger and better in life.

Once she had landed FoxFire she turned on the security system again. As she rubbed her eyes and stretched she rose from the pilots seat and walked into the kitchen. She had put on some coffee earlier on but hadn't had a chance to get a fresh cup yet. As she poured herself a cup of hot Caffè Verona she took a long drawn slow sip. As she savored the sweet blend of coffee beans she took the cup in hand and walked into Alena's room. The girl was still asleep in bed which didn't worry Cory.

As she watched Alena's sleeping form Cory was reminded that she too had been young once and innocent but she had to grow up quick at the boarding school. Then again Diego had taken care of her and reminded her constantly she was still young and to enjoy life. She had done that very well. Life had been tough on her as it was for Alena. Unfortunately she was now considered an adult and she had Alena to care for now. She hoped she could teach the girl to no longer steal anything. As she drowned the rest of the coffee she fixed herself a bagel with cream cheese and wolfed it down.

Alena woke up and rubbed her sleepy eyes. Yawning slightly she pushed back the covers with her feet and got up from the bed. She walked out into the kitchen where Cory was fixing a bowl of cereal for her. To Cory's disbelief the girl walked up to her and hugged her.

"Good morning Alena." Cory replied as she nuzzled her hair.

The girl looked up at Cory with big blue eyes. "Morning Cory."

Alena sat down and started eating the bowl of cereal that Cory had prepared for her as Cory went into the bedroom and laid out Alena's outfit. She had pulled out a pair of brown khaki's, blue t-shirt, and a pair of good walking shoes. Once Alena finished her breakfast she went into the bedroom and took of her pajamas. Cory helped Alena put on the clothes and helped her with her shoes. She then brushed Alena's hair and fixed the pony-tail she had given her. Alena smiled up at her and went into the bathroom where she brushed her teeth.

When Alena was finished Cory sat her down in front of a monitor and put on some cartoons for her as she got into the shower. She shaved, shampooed her hair, and rid herself of all of the sweat and stench. After getting out of the shower she dried herself off and put on a pair of black leather pants, a black shirt with micro-fiber cloak, and a pair of black walking shoes. She brushed her hair and fixed her bangs and once she brushed her teeth she walked out into the room once again to find Alena fixated on the cartoons.

Walking up to the girl she rubbed her hair gently with her finger tips and the girl stood up. "Are we ready to go exploring yet?"

Cory nodded and turned off the projection screen with the cartoons. After she grabbed her small back pack she put a small amount of credits inside and buckled the pack back up. Taking Alena's hand the two walked out of Foxfire and once they were out of the ship Cory turned on the security system and turned off the power. She had carefully placed the entrance keys on her necklace. Then the two of them entered the wondrous city of Alderaan. Cory wanted to see what Diego's house was like and she wanted to be sure everything was in perfect order.
