Hey there people, due to the success of the voting for the new planet, we have decided to add TWO more species to the Star Wars galaxy as option for characters. Why does it matter to us, we hear you ask. Well in time members will be allowed to have multi characters, depending on how well they were able to perform and handle their first character.

So now it is up to you what the two new species will be. You have TWO votes, please use both of them.

Do not simply vote with no explaination, as those votes will not be counted. Please post here your selection and also explain why you think they would be beneficial to the site and the RPG in general.

I voted Zabrak (for obvious reasons :P) and Togruta. For some reason, i'm hesitant to vote for races that are innately psychic / telepathic / precognitive / alloftheabove.

Rodian and Devaronian didn't make it either, because of their tendency to be teh eebil, whereas Rattataki looks a tad too human to actually be a different race.

Bothan came in third place though.

Also, as an added benefit, the Togruta Homeworld (Shili) is right next to Naboo, giving them a good opportinity to enter the RP from there.

My vote goes to the Togruta and Nautolans. My reasoning behind the Nautolans is because it opens a greater amount of opportunities to the site. The Nautolans beat out the Mon Calimari for my vote because they have abilities past being amphibious. That whole sensing people's emotions thing is pretty cool. However my main reasoning for wanting to pick between the two is because they are amphibious. Think of it. The site could have people who could stay underwater and go to submerged cities without those gill mechanisms. Plus it could open up the possibility of bringing in worlds that have underwater colonies besides Naboo. I picked the Togruta because the were the other race that had definitive special abilities. The sonic location feature they have would be a real perk.

My two votes are in. The Togruta and Nautolan seem like a very interesting species for the RP. The decision was tough because all of the other species to select from were very interesting as well. ;)

I vote for Togruta and Bothan because of the simple fact that both re ery beneficial to this RPG (ooh, listen to me using sophisticated words, hehehe) and because of the fact that both species have very unique and special ablities, that no other species on this site has, as far as I can tell.

I voted for Togruta and Rattataki. Togruta has always been a favourite of mine because of their gentle characteristics and their unusual, yet beautiful appearance. I think their character would be a great asset to the RPG and give some diversity. Rattataki because this is the species of Asajj Ventress who is an interesting EU character, though not much is known of the species, being able to base the look and the character on her would be interesting and would contrast to my first vote greatly.

I voted Rattataki because so little are known about them, and RP-ing them should be interesting!
Besides their violent nature kinda appeals to me... :P

Second, or actually primary; Bothan.
Excellent spies, cool looks (no!!!! bad reason!!!!), and I have always liked them! (Ever since SWBF II, that is :P )
Their different, internal looks would also be interesting!

I really wanted Togruta, too, but I chose the ever-mysterious rattataki instead.
In case of a new vote, perhaps my meanings have changed...

Mon Calamari and Bothan. I say these two species because they are both part of the Rebel Alliance. Don't know when they joined exactly.

Okay voting is over, it's been more than a week, however there is a tie. Togruta species is certainly one of the species that will be added. But, there is a tie between Nautolan and Bothan, so to save hassle, Kalin and I have chosen which will be the successor.

Apart from Togruta, the species that will also be added to the site is the Nautolans, simply because the reasons behind this species show more benefits, especially Taves' explaination won it over, and showed how they would benefit and allow us to open more watery worlds in the future.

Well that was fun lol I'm sure it won't be long until we hold another vote on species :)
