Title: Hunting

Ayanna Nyx - July 14, 2007 07:12 PM (GMT)
Although the area of Old Duros has been abandonded, many Bounty Hunters and assassins come here to train against the horrific beast found within.

The spice trade was almost completed. The Corellian Comet waited until it was completed and when he was about to shoot the target a loud growl came from his left and his shot twitched to the right missing the target by a hair and the man started to run but Scott shot the whipcord at his feet tripping him.

As he got there the man got up ripped the cord off and punched Scott in the helmet and almost knocked him out. Scott was about to flamethrower him he kicked his arm away and smacked him down and Scott dropped his guns. The man was extremely strong and about to kill the Comet but was kicked in his large stomach and face knocking him back.

Scott grabbed his gun and shot him in the stomach and aimed for the killing blow in the face.

Taves Sarfell - March 26, 2008 05:42 PM (GMT)
Taves had followed the bounty hunter through the alleyways of Nar Shaddaa, trying his best to keep out of sight. He had watched as the bounty hunter had dispatched the spice dealer, but as he aimed the gun at the spice dealer's head, Taves decided that he could not allow someone to put a death on their conscience as long as he could prevent it. As the bounty hunter's trigger finger twitched, Taves reached out in the Force and brought the bounty hunter's whipcord around his feet. He gave a tug and brought the bounty hunter down. Once his grip was off of his weapon, Taves brought it to where he stood in the shadows.

"You don't know what you are doing" he shouted from the shadows.

A second ago he was aiming for the dealers head, but now he was on the ground tied by his own whipcord. Scott was so tired and beaten up if he didn't have a strong will he would have gone unconcious. He yelled, "Your the one making the mistake this guy illegally owns a bar called the Burning Deck."

After a second he toned down his anger and asked,"Who are you, your a Jedi aren't you," and beginning to sit up he asked, "What do you want?"

scottborek - March 26, 2008 10:57 PM (GMT)
After a couple of minutes went by he asked,"Well are you going to answer?"
He was getting impatient with this Jedi wanting him to answer.

Taves Sarfell - March 27, 2008 02:17 AM (GMT)
Taves stood in the shadows, his arms crossed. He turned in his mind how to answer the bounty hunter. Finally, he spoke from the shadows. "I am here to keep you from making one of the biggest mistakes in your life, next to starting this profession. Firstly this man may have done illegal business dealings to buy that bar, but you have no right to end his life. Yours would be the worst of the two crimes. Don't be so eager to take the law into your own hands. It bears a heavier burden than you know. Secondly, you are not one to end this man's life. I sense something in you. A will to return to the past, a will to end the tyranny of the Empire. You won't find the realization of these dreams as a bounty hunter." Taves could only hope the bounty hunter would hear his words.

scottborek - March 27, 2008 02:21 AM (GMT)
Scott felt completely calm now he was surprised at what the man said."You may have been right but that dream is dead you're probably the only Jedi left and even though I wanted to be one I can't I am too old and I can't help the Rebellion now because there is no way I could find any that would admit they were one."
Scott was thinking of what else to say,"I noticed you earlier who do you work for?"

Taves Sarfell - March 27, 2008 02:37 AM (GMT)
"Who I work for is not important. In fact, I'm quite sure that I work for no one." Taves thought of what the bounty hunter said. It seemed sad that one who seemed to have such aspirations would be so ignorant and hopeless. "You are wrong in your assumptions. There are more of the Jedi around. Although the old order is shattered it is not totally gone. Your age matters not, but your disposition is less than keen. However there is some way you can help the Jedi, and thereby the Rebellion."

scottborek - March 27, 2008 02:43 AM (GMT)
"Ok tell me what it is and I'll do it if it in anyway helps the Jedi and the Rebels," the Comet replied suddenly staring at the old spice miner he continued, "Sorry old chum,"

The man nodded. As Scott finally got the whipcord off he stood up and said,"You can come out of the shadows. I have two other questions, one what is your name I think I should know if I'm going to help you and two should we be talking about this in front of him?"

Taves Sarfell - March 27, 2008 03:05 AM (GMT)
Taves was a bit wary of this offer. "I'm afraid that now is too early a time for me to reveal myself. If you are willing to help our cause, then return to Mandalore. I will keep an eye on you and contact you there. As for my name, that too is too personal a subject for now. However as a show of good faith." Taves took five hundred credits from his robes and threw it to the bounty hunter. "I am sorry for the double standard, but I'm afraid that your armor is too vague for me to identify you by. Do you have a name?"

scottborek - March 27, 2008 03:10 AM (GMT)
Scott thought about returning the no-name answer that this Jedi said but he thought what the hay what do I have to hide,"My name is Scott Borek of Coronet, Corellia, I'm sometimes called the Corellian Comet but if you like a different nickname feel free to call me that."

Scott picked up the 500 credits and put it in his utility belt and extended his hand for a shake."Maybe one day you can call me a friend."

Taves Sarfell - March 27, 2008 03:23 AM (GMT)
Still keeping his face hidden from Scott, Taves shook his hand. "Oh, I don't know any reason not to call you a friend now. Hone your skills as a bounty hunter, but don't kill anyone. Believe me it is an experience that you never want to have to go through." With an invisible grin, Taves shot off with a burst of speed, aided by the Force. He was glad that even if it was no great consequence in the Galaxy for one more spice dealer to still be alive, he had stopped a life from being needlessly ended.
