Ayanna Nyx - July 14, 2007 07:03 PM (GMT)
A cantina where Bounty Hunters gather. Along with The Slag Pit and the Meltdown Cafe, it is one of the three most popular places for them to meet.
Taves Sarfell - July 19, 2007 12:13 AM (GMT)
Taves walked into the bar, checking his non-armor weapon at the door. He walked up to the bar. "Whats can I you good sirs?" asked the man at the bar. "How about a Corellian Ale." Taves replied. "Of course sirs" said the bartender keeping up his bad grammar.
"How is you enjoying your stays here sirs?" asked the bartender. "Feeling right at home" replied Taves. As the bartender passed him the ale Taves looked at it and said. "Actually" said Taves "a friend of mine suggested a drink to me awhile ago. He called it a 'carrier'." At this the bartender stopped polishing his glass. "Ah, yes sir." he said, dropping the speech impediment. "I'll get one for you."
After a short time the bartender returned with a small cylinder. "Take good care of this" he said. "Its owner would be very angry if it was lost."
"Of course" said Taves

OOC: remember in order to post on a planet you have to land on it. You havent posted anything at the docks stating your arrival. Remember the rules ;)

Resei delivered his blaster and holdout-blaster at the door.
Then he went in, heading for the bar.
The bartender smiled.
"Hello, sirs! What may I offer?"
"Information. A Bounty Hunter came by here a while ago, in a Light Mandalorian Armour. Did he not? Clawdyte, about this tall (Resei made a blurry attempt of showing how tall he thought he remembered Taves was). He got a certain... package, did he not? All I need to know is if he came by and got the... thing."
"I've heard more demanding grandmothers, sirs... It is tempting, but... I've got to live, too, sirs!"
"Then answering would be clever... No, just joking. Being a Bounty Hunter does that to your humour. I pay you 20 credits, you tell me: yes or no. Right?"
"Well... All..."
Resei interrupted, realising he could push the price down.
"But.. that's true... It is expensive to pay 20 credits for a 'yes' or 'no'! I say 10."
"That is riddicilous! I can agree on 15, but nothing lower!"
"15?! Are you nuts? On Mandalore I could get laid for less (this was actually true, as he had Moirine...) 5 credits!"
"Ok, ok. 10, we say. Give me the money, I say 'yes', and you go.. O darn... No, I meant I say no! I mean... Blast it!"
Resei smiled. Now this was unexpected.
"Know- I think he was here. I have the feeling in my stomach he was here... Well, I don't need to pay you, then. Goodbye!"
Then he leaft for the docs, leaving a cursing bartender behind him.

Scott Borek walked into the bar after he concealed his blasters and took off his blue and green mandalorian helmet.
The bartender offered him a drink and Scott replied,"No thank I'm just going to relax here and see if anyone needs a bounty around here."
The bartender just nodded and went back to serving his costumers.
Scott sat down in a dark corner of the bar.
scottborek - March 25, 2008 01:50 AM (GMT)
Scott saw a person carrying what looked like a dark haired human out of the bar. Scott got up and followed him to see where he was going and saw him go in the backway of the Meltdown Cafe. Scott thought maybe I can use this later to my advantage if somebody is looking for that human and, with that Scott went back inside to his corner and sat patiently.
Taves Sarfell - March 25, 2008 05:14 PM (GMT)
As Scott sat down, a tipsy toydarian flew over in his direction. Once he was right in front of him he squinted at Scott, closely looking him over. "Ohh... a Mandalorian ehh. You uhh you looking for a bounty? I got something I think might suit you, but first you gotta do me a favor. You interested?"
The toydarian stood in front of Scott's booth and looked at him with a face mixed with curiosity and inebriation.
scottborek - March 25, 2008 06:05 PM (GMT)
Scott looked at the Toydarian at said,"Yeah I'm interested, it has been getting boring on this rock anyway, so what is the task."
Scott leaned back with his arms folded waiting for this Toydarian to answer.
Taves Sarfell - March 26, 2008 01:39 AM (GMT)
"Well" said the Toydarian with a glint in his eye. "First the favor, and then we can move on to the money making work ehh. I don't know whether you saw anyone carrying a man out of the bar, but that happened to be my friend. The owner of this establishment has, ehh, a problem with me and my friends. What I want you to do is to get to that bouncer you saw there. Don't kill him, but shake him up. Make him think twice before he takes a hold of one my friends. Do that, and I'll make sure to pay you well for the job." The toydarian gave a little chuckle, before he yelled at a droid for another Corellian Ale.
scottborek - March 26, 2008 01:45 AM (GMT)
After mulling over his options of how to handle this he nodded at the toydarian and got up and headed out of the door for the bouncer. Maybe he has connections to the Rebellion, because he always disliked the Empire's 'policy' and he sort of always dreamed of being a Jedi and joining the Rebellion..., but that was in the past the Jedi are no more and he is a Bounty Hunter. I guess I'll ask if he is a part of the Rebellion when he gets back.
scottborek - March 26, 2008 01:58 AM (GMT)
After entering the bar the bartender asked nervously if he wanted a drink and the Comet said water. Immediately after drinking the water he sat at his booth relaxing for 10 min before approaching his contact.
"I finished your task, before I continue I have one question are you a rebel?" He asked the drunk toydarian.
Taves Sarfell - March 26, 2008 02:02 AM (GMT)
Taves walked into the room, wondering if this old bar might offer him some clues as to where Zen might have been taken. For all he knew Zen's captor might be in this very room. He walked up to the bar and ordered a Corellian Ale. The bartender looked at him quizzically. "Can I do anything for you sirs?" Taves looked at the bartender, whose grammar was as bad as before. "No, I'm just waiting." "For what might I ask good sirs." "I'm not quite sure" said Taves, taking a sip of his Ale.
scottborek - March 26, 2008 02:08 AM (GMT)
Scott noticed this mysterious character enter the bar and talk to the bartender about something maybe about the bouncer, maybe he is his affiliate at the Jewel Scott might approach him if he keeps talking to him to ask him questions about the kiddnapping.
Taves Sarfell - March 26, 2008 02:17 AM (GMT)
If the toydarian wasn't as drunk as he was he would have been more suspicious. "Hahahaha, a REBEL! A rebel he asks me. No, no, I don't have that good of morals. That and I have more brains." As he laughed on he finished the rest of his Ale.
"As far as the bouncer goes, I'm afraid all you did was force his resignation. No, what I want you to do has a little more impact. The owner of this bar is very much opposed to me, because he took over the bar and looks at me as a load of Bantha fodder. And how did he take over my Bar!?!? From spice. The idiot is a two bit spice distributor. What I want you to do is take him down. Kill him, so I can take back my bar. Here is the information you need." The toydarian threw a file across the table and flew, rather unstably, off.
scottborek - March 26, 2008 02:27 AM (GMT)
Scott looked at the datapad and saw that there was to be a secret spice shipment in the abandoned Old Duros district and the bartender is going there to secure the shipment.
Scott casually walked to the exit and waited across the street for the man to leave after about an hour of waiting the bartender secretly leaves the building and the Comet stalked his target all the way to the Old Duros area and hid in the shadows behind a crate.
Taves Sarfell - March 26, 2008 02:35 AM (GMT)
Once the bartender walked off Taves saw a Mandalorian follow close by. This raised up not only suspicion in his mind, but brought into his mind another theory. "Jedi Hunters" He didn't know how he hadn't thought of it before. This Mandalorian might have been the exact sign he had been waiting for. Without a word, Taves put down his Ale. He then put up his hood and followed after the bounty hunter, making sure to hide his presence.
