Title: The Meltdown Cafe
Description: Seedy joint

Ayanna Nyx - July 14, 2007 07:01 PM (GMT)
This is a seedy eating and drinking establishment. Famous for being a place where Bounty Hunters gather. Proceed with caution!

Kalin Thalis - August 2, 2007 10:31 PM (GMT)
This is the first place Kalin wanted to visit. If somebody knew about those Jedi...Bounty Hunters would. Though if they would release information about it was unlikely. It was 'their' bounty...only theirs to have, so why would they share it with someone? But catching a Jedi would be very difficult, so they might unleash some information cause they it would only be logical that they couldn't take up against a Jedi by themselves...at least that's what Kalin hoped how they would think...surely they would be smart enough to think like that...however his meetings with Resei proved against such thoughts.

He and Ayanna sat at a table. Kalin pretended he was actually having a conversation with her.

"Just pretend like we're really talking...I think I have an idea!" He whispered to her.

He continued to whisper and sometimes he raised his voice to make the name "Jedi" spread out even if it was just to the nearest bounty hunter who was sitting next to him. This way he tried to provoke them and catch their interest. And it worked. A scruffy looking bounty hunter turned around his seat getting closer to Kalin.

"I couldn't help it...But I heard you say something about Jedi...What are you trying to find here!?" He spoke in a commanding voice.

Still Kalin kept up his act and tried to unleash some information, but not too much information.

"Well euhm...I only know of some bounty that paid a high price for them...and I know from some sources that they are somewhere here...."

The bounty hunter looked angry at Kalin. Most likely he thought that he was here to steal his bounty. If somebody was going to get this bounty it wouldn't be Kalin, he thought.

"Listen, buddy! I'm only going to say this once....For your own sake, leave Nar Shaddaa at once...or you'll get yourself into deep trouble, you hear me!?"

Kalin grinned. He felt like he touched a nerve. He also felt there was no danger at all so provoking this bounty hunter was what he felt like he had to do to unleash some more anger and possible some information.

"No way I'm gonna leave here, pal! I'm gonna get my reward for getting that Jedi's head! If it's the last thing I do on Nar Shaddaa!"

Another bounty hunter stood up from his seat, clearly angered at his words.

"What makes you think you'll get that bounty! You're a rookie, kid! We're professionals...you're no match for a Jedi!"

Kalin stood up himself. Kalin was not as strongly built as his opponnent, but he stood taller.

"Don't underestimate me by my looks...I've seen a lot more than you could possibly imagine! If you don't fear to loose your bounty against a guy like me...then why don't you just tell me what you know and I'll let you walk out of here alive...." Kalin grinned once more, provoking them as much as possible.

Five bounty hunteres stood around him. Kalin was up for some beating, but he wasn't gonna get it...not yet. Now he didn't want to show off his Force abilities here so he had to try of another trick. He used the force to grab a heavy blaster from one of the bounty hunter's holster. Pointed it immediatly at the guy's head in an eye-wink. Through his abilities in the Force it happened so fast that nobody realised what really happened. But using more Force powers or a lightsaber was out of the question...

"Adanna...defend yourself against these guys...we're gonna get out of here alive...and with some information to help us....pretty please!"

Kalin smiled again at the guy while he kept the blaster pointed at his head. The other bounty hunters left their blasters alone. Unlike space pirates or smugglers they did care what happened to their collegues...depending on the situation. If they formed a threat to lose their bounty they wouldn't care...But in this case they still had some sense of honour to their comrades in the Bounty Hunter Guild.

"So...Let's hear it then...what do you know about these Jedi?!"

The guy trembled in fear of losing his head and replied while stuttering.

"I know nothing...I.....I...did hear of a Duros....who...who gambles in....the...the casino! He's a....a...heavy...gambler....and...s...spoke...of.....a...a...Jedi...he...spotted...in...in...t..this s...sec...tor"

Ayanna Nyx - August 2, 2007 11:23 PM (GMT)
Ayanna raised her eyebrow as Kalin had called her by her mother's name, but still she stayed focused and ready to strike any that would approach her.

Though the Bounty Hunters kept their distance because of Kalin's actions, they did have a certain lust in their eyes for Ayanna that she did not like.

"Corellian Sector eh? Thanks for the info..... Adanna, I think it's time to leave..."

Kalin kept pointing his blaster towards the Bounty Hunter while Ayanna moved over closer to Kalin's position, with her hand hovering around where her lightsaber was clipped. Although, for the moment she had no desire to use it.

They slowly began to leave, blending as best they could into the crowds.
