Title: Exploration
Description: Jin-Ho and Me only
Christopher Enyar - July 3, 2007 02:51 PM (GMT)
Chris had come here for one purpose: to plan. This place provided a large amount of schooling options, and Chris would need to be very knowledgable. He would need to know law, politics, science, and possibly more for his own plans.
He was in his normal clothing at the moment, leaving his armor hidden away. He wanted to try and work on his lying skills while he was here. Perhaps build a false little life to keep in cover.
He had to think of his new identity. He wouldn't use a false name. No, he just needed a different persona for the public. But what should be the personality? He thought of it for a bit. Polite, innocent, submissive, and a slight bit of fear of the world. That seemed right. Now, he needed some kind of quirks, something that instantly made him recognizable figure. Perhaps a shyness of females around his age? That could work if he would be able to make himself blush at the sight of a girl, or fake fainting when one touched him. He almost laughed at the thought.
Now, he would have to change his posture. His stance became different. Rather then a slouching rebellious youth who counted himself as higher then normal Dark Jedi, his posture became more of a nervous little boy. His facial expression also read out as nervous and easily manipulated, and his eyes, while still red and animalistic, had more of a tone of vulnerablity, like a kitten.
He started walking a bit. While his stride was usually more strong, he made his steps short and nervous. It made him seem like a kid who had only today stepped into the outside world. The image might draw sympathy from people. He would have to test it by meeting someone, hopefully a female, and interacting with them. If possible, he'd like to establish a 'friend'. Someone who might back him up in tough situations, or give him valuable information. Or even just someone to help him work on his social skills.
Jin-ho - July 3, 2007 06:52 PM (GMT)
[Protection Services Training]Jin-ho walked down the street, until she noticed a person behaving kind of... odd. She could see a boy of around her age, and from being around guards and Handmaidens a lot she could tell his body knew combat...
...So why was he behaving like a 13 year old schoolgirl?
In her civilian clothing herself, she walked up to Enyar, whom she had mentally categorised as a 'wolf trying very hard to be a sheep'. Tilting her head a bit as she looked at him, she decided to take the polite approach, just in case.
- "Excuse me mister... Can i help you with something?"
Christopher Enyar - July 3, 2007 07:32 PM (GMT)
Chris looked at her and then made himself blush on realization of a female presence. This might actually be a fun Identity to act out. "Uh..." he stuttered, his voice nervous and childish. "Not... not really.. I just arrived here from Dantooine... This place is very different from Home..." Chris kept the lie sounding honest. He was from Dantooine, even if it never actually felt like a home to him, and he had come from there... with a detour to Kamino, Coruscant, Naboo and Korriban. Chris had made extra careful to seem as shy and nervous as possible.
Jin-ho - July 3, 2007 09:14 PM (GMT)
The nervous tone still sounded somewhat odd to Jin-ho. The voice of the man didn't really sound like the ones she had heard in the Base on Dantooine either, though that could be blamed on the Rebels in it traveling a lot between the planets themselves. She looked around her, at the city of Aldera, and recalled how she had felt the first time she came to Alderaan... Well, after having left it as a baby, anyway.
- "Hmm... Yeah, i know what you mean. Lots of agriculture on Dantooine, so seeing a city like this can be overwhelming at first."
Being a farmhand could accredit for Enyar's build, but there was still something odd about him that she couldn't quite place. Perhaps she'd figure it out if she'd stick around for just a while longer...
Christopher Enyar - July 3, 2007 09:20 PM (GMT)
Chris had to think a moment. Nothing in his voice or face would give him away, but she seemed to be rather suspicious of him. Perhaps it was natural to be suspicious around strangers. He kept up a blush, and then said, in a nervous and quick stream of words put together, "ChristopherEnyar.... my name... is Christopher Enyar.... most people call me Chris..." He was about to raise a hand to shake, but made it seem like he was too nervous to fully extend his hand out.
Jin-ho - July 3, 2007 10:18 PM (GMT)
Jin-ho could only sigh and shake her head at the amount of shyness this boy was radiating. She was right the first time she saw him, he was almost too introverted to be true. Wanting to speed up the process of him getting settled in a bit, she reached out and simply grabbed his half-extended hand, shaking the limb as she gave her own introduction.
- "Hiyas, nice to meet you. I'm Morinagare Jin-ho... Errh, Jin-ho. Last name first on my home planet, long story." ^^;
She'd then let go of Chris' hand, and fold her own behind her back as she looked at him, waiting to see if she could help him with anything.
Christopher Enyar - July 3, 2007 10:30 PM (GMT)
Chris blush increased with the touch of her skin, and he looked like he was going to faint, but it slowly faded when the hand shake ended. Chris had to admit that was fun to act out, but didn't show it. He then looked around shyly.
"How do you even get around this city?" he asked shyly. "It's so big. I can't find anything in it. I need to get out of my brothers clothes." He had said this to explain his rather dark look. For an innocent shy boy, he was dressed like a Sith, even if these were his clothes before he joined the Empire. "My brother, Shin, gave me the clothes for the trip, 'cause all mine got lost during the Kath Hound raid. I think Shen might have stolen them."
Using actual history for his false personality was excellent. It gave it a sense of truth he could cling to to help the act. And gave more identity to the character he was playing out. Something more real then a voice and posture. He then looked at her shyly again. "Um... could you possibly... show me around? I'd appreciate it..." His face kept it's shyness, but also had a sense of pleading, as though he would be lost and alone without her help.
Jin-ho - July 3, 2007 10:39 PM (GMT)
Jin-ho took a second look at the boy's clothing, it did[ seem somewhat off compared to his personality. Still, she figured she might as well give him the benefit of the doubt and show him around Alderaan a bit. After all, her cousin helped her settle in back when she moved to the planet again after all.
- "Uhh, sure... Where do you want to start? I can't claim i know this city like the back of my hand yet either, but i know how to get where i need." ^^;
Christopher Enyar - July 3, 2007 10:45 PM (GMT)
Chris thought for a moment. "I'm not sure..." he said, honestly. "Somewhere I can get new clothes, I guess." He had to wonder for a moment. How far shall this go? Oh, who knew...
He looked around. "I also need a place to stay, although I don't know if you could help there." He said, shyly. "I might also want to see the school here. I was thinking about trying to get a tutalage for Science." As well as other subjects, but he wouldn't say that.
Jin-ho - July 3, 2007 10:51 PM (GMT)
- "Oh sure, no problem. The Shopping District is over there, next to that tower with the commercial screen on it. Then there's the Residential Area around there, there always seems to be a couple of openings. The University's behind that though, near the Spaceport."
During her explanation, Jin-ho'd point in various directions, turning partially around to help jog her memory as to the exact locations. She was prety familiar with the residential area and the Palace, though she guessed that most of the areas she'd be free to walk through would require a good deal of clearance for Chris.
Christopher Enyar - July 3, 2007 10:57 PM (GMT)
Chris had looked around with wonder in his eyes, along with a sense of being so small in the universe. This, however was all the act. He entered the shoping district with her. He was looking around.
In it there were shoppers all around. The were busy looking through the sales, finding the deals, and in general being a noisy crowd.
"I wonder where I can find clothes in here. It's rather... chaotic in here."
Jin-ho - July 3, 2007 11:14 PM (GMT)
Jin-ho gave Chris an encouraging smile as they made their way towards some of the larger shops. Such a town boy, he was...
- "Heh, don't worry, you just need some time to get used to it, especially with Dantooine being mostly farms and all. This place has over a thousand times your home planet's population, so it's bound to be a little busyer here overall..."
She pointed out a couple of shops in the neighbourhood, explaining what they more or less sold at decent prices. It would be up to Chris where they'd go to next (barring certain others, of course :P)
Christopher Enyar - July 3, 2007 11:25 PM (GMT)
Chris reflected on her smile. This persona was becoming quite good. She seemed to be starting to trust him. He entered on of the shops she had indicated. He had to try out clothes, with an embarressed look here and there when he tried out his choices and showed them when he put them on.
One outfit was a correllion style outfit, making him look rather like a smuggler. Another was more Higher class clothing, making him look like a politician in pale blue robes. There were other choices he did not try out, incuding a rather skimpy looking outfit that made Chris blush when someone recommended it on him, saying, "He'd look like your slave, darling." to Jin-Ho. The blush might not actually been an in-character move, that time.
"Which do you think?" he asked her, still wearing the higher class robes.
Jin-ho - July 3, 2007 11:33 PM (GMT)
Jin-ho grinned at the 'slave' comment, though the joke was pretty obvious in it. This was Alderaan after all, not a planet like Ryloth, where such a comment could be taken seriously. Still, she looked at Chris again, watching him change into different sets of clothing.
- "Hmm... that suit looks good on you, i'd say."
She had to hand it to him though, for a farmboy he knew how to pick out a set of clothing, which only added to the odd feeling that surrounded him like an aura. She had also kept in mind the clothes he had picked out earlier, somewhat matching the current set he had been wearing. Would they be his own, she wondered...
Christopher Enyar - July 3, 2007 11:42 PM (GMT)
Chris bought the outfit and put back the Correlian clothes, noting, "They were more of Shen's style." He then walked out with her. He noted how is mannerism should change as he became more use to her. His blush had lessened a little, but still was there, and he was less nervous around her, but still kept a sense of a submissive and shy personality.
The crowds were thick and tiring to try and find a way through them into the residential district. Chris saw an alleyway which seemed to head toward it. In the effort to save time, he would have to take it.
"These crowds are never ending," he said, with a shy sense of being overwhelmed by it. He then gazed at the alley. "Hey, this might get us through quicker. And no crowds! Should we take it?" He was going to ask permission merely to keep himself as submissive as possible.
Jin-ho - July 3, 2007 11:49 PM (GMT)
Jin-ho looked down the alley, going through what she knew of the city's locations in her mind. Realising something, she shook her head as she figured out where the alley would lead to.
- "Hmm... not really, no. That alley ends up at a construction site, some old building they tore down in favor of a new apartment complex. We'd end up back here anyway."
Not that she minded, though. She had no problems with helping out a stranger, but walking into a near-empty alley with him... Nuh-huh. ^^;
Christopher Enyar - July 3, 2007 11:56 PM (GMT)
Chris was now really glad to have her around. He might have actually gotten himself rather lost in this place. He showed such things on the outside, as well.
"Oh," he said. "Thanks. I would have been totally lost if I didn't have you guiding me." He smiled at her, then blushed again. He found it amusing how easily his character seemed to be having an evergrowing crush on her. The character itself was evolving beyond it's original limits.
He continued onward with her, through the crowds. It took them a while to get to the residential area. He looked around. Several apartment buildings going what seemed like miles up. "Hmm," he said, looking nervous. "Which one should I try and go for?" he questioned.
Jin-ho - July 4, 2007 12:04 AM (GMT)
Jin-ho looked up at the apartments. Most were simply too high up to see if someone was actually living in them, though she figured the agencies selling them would more than likely have better information than she could give him.
- "Hmm... I don't know, actually. When i moved to Alderaan, i started living with my cousin, so i never really paid attention to the housing market... Just ask around, that usually works."
She felt a bit sorry for Chris that she couldn't help him with that, but hey, she couldn't know everything, right? Besides, she had told him the truth, she had never lived in a house on her own before.
Christopher Enyar - July 4, 2007 12:14 AM (GMT)
Chris had nodded to her advice, and picked places at random. Some were too expensive. Some were only for Royals and Politicians. And the rest did not really seem worth the risk of the floors falling in.
He had checked alot of hotels, and none of them were right yet. He wondered what his character would do in this situation, and then he decided on it.
Chris went to an empty alleyway entrence and sat down to rest. His legs were tired, and he was rather tired. He accidentally let a couple of tears slip from his eyes and tried to wipe them away before she had seen it. Well, he actually wanted her to see it, but he did not make it that way. He seemed to be overwhelmed with the sense of not having a home.
"What am I going to do?" he asked, more as a rhetorical question to himself. "No home, little money. No ship. I don't have anything of value." Well, he had a lot of things of value, including two rather rare lightsabers, but that was not information to share.
Jin-ho - July 4, 2007 12:27 AM (GMT)
Jin-ho sighed, leaning against one of the alley's walls to give her legs some well needed rest. Massaging her calves, she missed the tear falling from his eye, though she did manage to catch his lament though.
- "Well, i'm afraid i can't help you there... Like i said, i'm sharing my cousin's apartment already, and i could hardly have you stay at... where i work."
Honestly though, who'd have thought the guy was a fortune seeker? Going away from home, expecting the riches and opportunities to be stacked on top of each other wherever they looked... She had seen it happen often enough already, and knew similar cases generally ended up working for criminals. It'd be a waste, really.
- "Umm... some of the larger companies arrange housing for their employees, something about lessening their obligatory pay for travel expenses. Maybe you should try to get a job?"
Christopher Enyar - July 4, 2007 12:40 AM (GMT)
He smiled to her. She was rather kind, falling for this so easily. It would have saddened him to use her like this if he was a normal human being. But something did feel odd in him about it. He seemed to be tearing up from the gesture of kindness and wiped his eyes.
"Thank you," he said. He paused for a moment. "For everything. I'd be lost here if it wasn't for you." He waited for a moment as he thought. How far would this little 'friendship' be going? Temperary or long lasting? Well, she had been useful and kind. Perhaps he should take this to a more perminate and risky level. He looked her deeply in the eyes and said, "Um... can I tell you a secret? And you have to promise to tell no one! If my secret was found out... the Empire might try to kill me." He had a serious plea in his voice. Her response to this would be interesting to watch.
Jin-ho - July 4, 2007 12:47 AM (GMT)
Jin-ho looked back at Chris, the smile on her face turning into amusement. Though Chris would have no way of knowing, the red headed girl's amusement was mostly due to self-irony on her behalf. She envisioned herself walking around with a sign saying "Rebel Alliance - Join Here" taped to her back, and barely managed to stifle a laugh.
- "Heh, sure thing. Though if the Empire gets any more bureaucratic, they'd have to make you fill out and sign a form to arrest you anyway." :P
Even if he had misread her grin, the tone of her voice would have told the Dark Jedi she was just poking fun at the Empire a little. Much in the same way any normal girl would joke at the people in charge where they believed they wouldn't hear, actually ^_^
Christopher Enyar - July 4, 2007 12:52 AM (GMT)
Chris looked at her. His face was serious, scared and childish. "I'm serious," he said, his voice had an urging sound to them. "Darth Vader himself might come after me if my secret got out." Which was true. "Please tell me you'll keep it. I can't keep it in me anymore." Chris had to admit, he was pretty convincing with those tear filled eyes, and that sad pleading face.
Jin-ho - July 4, 2007 01:02 AM (GMT)
Jin-ho looked into his eyes. Again, there was nothing beside the scared country bumpkin to be seen, which was suspicious in itself. There was, bluntly put, no way in Hell such a person would manage to get in trouble with Vader himself, which would denounce the entire personality she was looking at a lie. Still, the man was a good actor, and to say she wasn't interested for the reason would have been a lie on her behalf as well...
- "Don't worry, i won't tell. Still, how'd a guy like you get into that much trouble?"
Failing to resist the temptation, she decided it was time for a little acting of her own, Casting a semi-frightened look around her to check for possible eavesdroppers, she leaned towards Chris, eyes widened in shock while talking in a hushed tone. As a young girl growing up on a spaceship, she had managed to become quite good at acting herself, when the time called for it.
- "Wait... There was this HoloNews item about some spy infiltrating on Kamino... Was that you?" :o
Christopher Enyar - July 4, 2007 01:09 AM (GMT)
"Kamino? No," he said. He had been prepping this story for a while, and now it was about to come out. "I'm.... I'm... well... Maybe I should show you.." he crept in deeper into the alley, away from prying eyed. He gestured for her to follow him.
He then put his hand up in an empty space and used Lightning. The electricity shot out in blue sparks and lasted for two seconds before he allowed it to dissapate and looked at her. His face said he was afraid of her running away, of telling somebody. The truth was, he would have killed her if she did, but that did not show. He waited to see what she would do or say.
Jin-ho - July 4, 2007 01:19 AM (GMT)
Jin-ho scratched the back of her head, clearly impressed with what she had seen. She didn't run though, since Jedi were supposed to be allies with the Rebels, and she was a Rebel too now, in a way. Still, it would probably explain what she had felt to be odd about the man.
- "Whoa... Jedi huh? No wonder you've been acting like that. I mean, with Jedi being outlawed here and everything, i mean."
There was no doubt in her mind any more that the image of the farmer's son was just an act. She had heard rumors about the amount of mental training that was required to even touch the Force, even when it came naturally to some, and there was no way he'd have fit that picture.
Christopher Enyar - July 4, 2007 01:44 AM (GMT)
The character had just gotten to be interesting. Oh well. It would at least be possibly rewarding to have this new one. His posture had changed into something more himself. In fact, everything became more himself. His face was impassive and cold. He looked at her with an emotionless gaze.
"Glad my senses were right about you. I think you can be trusted. However, I'm not a Jedi. At least, not completely. I am self-taught. I was unfortunately tracked down by the Empire. I've been hunted by some top-class Storm Assassins, bounty hunters. You name it. I've been trying to get in contact with some full Jedi, and hopefully the Rebel Alliance itself. I had heard rumors of it's presence here, and have come for assastance."
Well, he could sense a difference in her. Still kind and friendly, but the girl was smart, and quick to judge his identity. Perhaps... No, it couldn't be, could it? Well, he took a guess and decided to run with it. If he was wrong, oh well.
"Your part of the Rebellion, aren't you?" he said. Hell, she could deny it, but it seemed plausible. If she was part of the Rebellion, he could break something big. So far, the all out Galactic Civil War had been more rumors then a war now. More like the calm before the storm. But, if he could get the location of one of their bases, well, it wouldnt be a war. More like a massacre. Suddenly this conversation had become more vital then he had intended in the beginning.
"If you aren't, well, then that proves my low skill level in the Force. But... but if you are, then I can finally do what I have set out to do; Help the Rebellion to defeat the Empire."
Jin-ho - July 4, 2007 02:22 PM (GMT)
Jin-ho felt some satisfaction in having seen through Chris' initial deception. Though the new personality he had switched into was a lot colder and more detached than the other one, this one at least seemed to fit his personality a bit better. At least to the degree of it appearing to be more like his true self. Even though the girl still suspected him to hide something, what he was telling her about himself seemed quite interesting to her...
- "Wow, self-taught huh? How'd you manage to do that? I wouldn't even know where to start looking, myself."
Even though she was being her usual open self, she blinked as he brought up wanting to join not just the Rebellion, but the Jedi as well. Leia would want to hear about this, though she could hardly introduce the Princess as one of the Rebel Commanders to a total stranger...
- "Umm... i don't really know how to help you with that, but i'd advise you to keep this quiet... As per Imperial Law, Jedi are outlawed here, and i doubt they'd care for you to explain the difference before tossing you in a force cage."
There were rumors that Jedi could detect a lie within a nanosecond. There were also rumors that Jedi could fly, but that was beside the point. She had chosen her words carefully, and not a word of it was a lie, since she really didn't have a clue how to help Chris join the Jedi. That she was a Rebel herself, or even the Corporal of the Royal Guard, she decided to keep quiet for now.
She definately needed to talk to Leia about this guy.
Christopher Enyar - July 4, 2007 03:12 PM (GMT)
She had not confirmed it, but she did not deny it. That became indeffinate proof for him. She was indeed a part of the Rebellion. This had turned out for better then he had hoped. Now, the next step would make it much more intrusive for him.
He reached to her with his mind, trying to dominate her own. "Who is your leader?" he asked, making it seem less intrusive and demanding then it really was. A command made in the force was a hard one to resist. But she was rather strong willed. It could take some work to brake into her mind and control her, or it could take very little. He was a beginner in the art of dominating minds, so he would not know till he tried. It would be a battle, but she wouldn't notice right away it was happening.
Jin-ho - July 4, 2007 06:36 PM (GMT)
Jin-ho was surprised by Chris' sudden question. Her leader? What could he possibly mean by that? However, even before she managed to figure that out, she found herself answering.
- "My leader? Umm... Bail and Leia Organa. I'm a Royal Guard, so..."
This sudden urge to answer Chris despite believing him to be a Jedi, struck her as odd, and she tried to counter whatever was causing it, not wanting to spill all of her secrets, or end up telling him personal information she didn't really want him to know. There were some creepy guys out there in Aldara, after all...
Christopher Enyar - July 4, 2007 07:21 PM (GMT)
Chris continued the siege into her mind. It was difficult, as she resisted well. "Is your name really Jin-Ho?" he asked. He would try to have to work with more simple questions. And make his way up, and continue this. Control Mind was difficult to work with.
Jin-ho - July 4, 2007 08:36 PM (GMT)
Again, the mental assault continued, yet Jin-ho felt she was starting to get the hang of it. Just a few more questions, and she'd be able to mount a defense against... whatever it was Chris was doing to her.
- "Yeah, of course, i told you so, remember?"
The signs of her losing her patience were becoming clear from her speech, her words gaining a slight note of irritation in them. She absently rubbed her temple, not really aware of the movement and would have paid it little notice even if she had. She figured it was time to try and turn the tables a bit, in an attempt to disrupt whatever was happening.
- "So tell me, who's YOUR leader?"
Christopher Enyar - July 4, 2007 08:51 PM (GMT)
Chris was struggling now. His face made him look it too. Her will was too strong to break through, but he was still trying. "I have none," he said. He was moving closer to her. He might have to take an alternate plan for this. "How old are you?" he said, still trying to keep it simple.
Jin-ho - July 4, 2007 09:13 PM (GMT)
Jin-ho had the feeling she was getting closer. She could read from the look on Chris' face that he was indeed the one that was trying to invade her mind. That he had resisted her own attempt made sense to her, given her lack of experience in the matter as well as her not being able to use the Force.
- "Sixteen. Jedi or Sith?"
The question that had come after it was a fast spoken one, and while she did she recalled a blur of memories from various movies she had seen as a kid, mostly present day ones with space travel. Superimposed on those memories however, she kept repeating 'Jedi' and 'Sith' in random order, mashed together as much as she could. With a little luck, she'd manage to beat him at his own game.
Christopher Enyar - July 5, 2007 03:25 AM (GMT)
Chris heard the question so randomly he wasn't prepared for it, and his answer came blunt and atomatically. Such a strange way does the human mind work. "Sith," he said. And then his brain caught up with him and he grabbed her.
He put his hand over her mouth to keep her quiet, and pulled her in close. He then dropped his body on her, pinning her to the ground. He then used his free hand to grab her hands. His legs pinned her legs down. It would happen so fast during their mind game she would most likely be helpless for tthose few seconds.
He dropped the mental game. It had weakened his will as well as hers. Such was rather dangerous ad stupid to do.He would need to rectify his mistake now. But, he couldn't kill her. Too public, he'd never get out afterwords. He would have to do this more privately.
Although, killing her would be such a waist of his time and energy. Since she was a Rebel, she had valuable information on the enemies of the Empire. And for another thing, something told him not to kill her. Whether it was the Force or his own locked up feelings, he did not know.
"Scream and die," he said. He then let go of her mouth for a small moment. He hoped she was not stupid enough to scream. But he already knew she wasn't. He then ripped off a piece of his new robes, and spun her onto her back and tied up her wrists. He then used another piece to gag her mouth and make sure she stayed quiet. He then tied her legs too, and then pulled her farther into the alley, and kept her close. His next move would be a difficult one to determine, and he had to think for a moment.
"Dammit," he said. He was loosing his calm and cold nature, and getting frustrated. "You should not have asked that. Now you are in far deeper then you should be. All I had to do was test my acting skill, and then you turn up, and everything goes fine. Damn, I've been stupid for this one." He was muddering curses to himself now. He hadn't lost his cool like this for a long time, and it was really frightening him. He looked at her, his cat like eyes seemed infuriated, frustrated and rather frightened. His true nature seemed to be wanting out now, and it seemed to be coming up through his own cold mask.
Jin-ho - July 5, 2007 11:55 AM (GMT)
Jin-ho had asked the question without thinking. To her, both Jedi and Sith alike were the stuff of stories, and would have seemed supernatural altogether if there hadn't been an Imperial Law out for them. Yet, when Chris had replied, she found cold sweat breaking out, and the few seconds she froze were enough for the Sith to tie and gag her.
She looked up at him, hearing his unease, noticing the glint of fear as she looked directly into his eyes, defiant now even though she was racking her brain for a getaway plan. Had he been looking directly for her? No, he looked as if he was being forced to improvise. Sitting up against the alley wall, she tried to turn on the communicator in her back pocket, attempting to press 'repeat' to call Leia. Perhaps she'd be able to hear them, but whether she'd hear or not she'd know something was wrong, and the call would be easily traced back to where they were. Her tongue managed to push the makeshift gag out of her mouth, and she glared at him as she worked on his insecurity. It was all she could do.
- "You should leave before they find you, Sith. The Royal Guard isn't known to give up easily, especially if one of them was harmed."
While talking -- and hopefully being overheard by Leia -- she'd carefully try to wriggle her hands free, though they'd remain behind her back until she actually had a chance to get away: She remembered that lightning erupting from his fingertips all too well. She didn't think her bonds would last long anyway, the strips of cloth weren't made for such treatment, and Chris had ripped them off easily enough as well.
Christopher Enyar - July 5, 2007 12:29 PM (GMT)
Chris heard herspeak, but because of her gag it was incomprehensible. He could sense she was trying something, and he was not take chances on this anymore. He raised his hands. "Be quiet," he said, as lightning shot out. It would not be enough to burn her severely, but it would be enough to quiet her down and perhaps even knock her unconcious. It was getting dark now and the crowds were beginning to disapear. He would have to take her, get her out of here with him. But where would he take her? Korriban? No... He didn't have to go too drastic with this. And he didn't want to. Somewhere other then here. This place was too open for it.
Ayanna Nyx - July 5, 2007 01:58 PM (GMT)
Suddenly Captain Antilles along with 12 other guards arrived on the scene after recieving a stress call.
"What's going on here?!" Antilles called out as all of his men raised their weapons

The spasm Jin-ho had gone through after being hit by Force Lightning had managed to tear what remained of the bonds around her wrists. Half-dazed, she believed to hear a familiar voice calling out, and turned her head into the direction the sound had come from. Upon recognising Captain Antilles however, her eyes went wide as she struggled to get a warning out to him and the other guards.
- "Ugh... Crae... Careful! He's a Sith!"
Trying to jump up to get away, the combination of numb legs and bound ankles made her fall again. However, she tried to fall away from Chris, and proceeded to 'army crawl' towards the guards for all she was worth.
- "He's got a Lightning attack... And he can do stuff to your mind..."
Her stamina drained, she rolled behind a nearby dumpster halfway between the guards and Chris, panting heavily as she hoped the cover would be enough. Taking out her own blaster, she held it at the ready should the Sith get closer. With her free hand, she tried to undo the knot to free her ankles while the feeling slowly returned to her legs.

Chris was calm, cold and silent. That made fourteen victums. He ripped off the robes to reveal his normal clothes, which were more combat ready. He then raised his hands upon the guards and unleashed Lightning upon them. He would unleash his wrath upon them, take the girl, and run. Now that they had heard, they would have to die.
