Taves approached the cloning center as the rains were almost over. Kamino sure looked different without a sheet of rain constantly drenching it. As he approached the facility he saw a Kaminoan come out of the door to greet him. This was something he had not been expecting, but he rolled with it. He bowed and said "I have been sent to investigate the incident with the cloning tubes."

It was Taun We personnaly we greeted Taves. "Investigation?" She wondered...."We were not informed someone would come to investigate the crime which was recently commited...May I ask who sent you....on whose authority are you here" She asked friendly though supsicious.

I'm sent on the authority of two organizations. The Galactic Empire wishes to look into who destroyed their clones. And Boba Fett has sent me on this mission for the bounty hunters group that was hired to do so.

Taun We was surprised to hear the name. It was more than 20 years that she heard the name Boba Fett, son of Jango, the first host.

"Okay...Can I see your papers? I'm sure that if the Empire indeed sent you, you would have some proof of this." She smiled but kept her suspicion. After her affairs with Jango, she became extremely suspicious of Bounty Hunters and she stayed cautious.

"Ahhhh!"
Taro ran toward the two, tripped, then laughed. He got back up and started to speak with Taun We.
"Hello! How are you? You're very tall. I wasn't greeted when I landed, sooo I figured I'd just come right in and say hello!"
Taun We began to reply, extremely perplexed as to who the space pirate was, why he was drunk, and how he had gotten in, but Taro cut her off.
"And who are you, my dear fellow? You're dressed rather sportingly for a place like this."

Taves was embarrassed. He ignored the pirate momentarily. He hadn't thought of bringing papers. Of course he had never been on a mission so formal. Then a thought popped into his head he got on to his wrist holo-projector. "Boba Fett" he said. A holo image of Fett appeared on his wrist. "Sir, this Kaminoan needs someone to vouch for me on this inspection of the cloning facility, and I thought you could oblige."

"That's a nice little holoprojector you have there."
Taves, again, attempted to ignore him.
"Well, that's fine. But I noticed that you don't seem to have any ships. I've got one of those. It's a nice one too. Doesn't look too nice, but it runs like a dream."
Taves seemed to still be waiting for a response from Fett.
"C'mon, what d'ya say? Whenver you need a ride off this planet, you give me a call and I'll only charge you a small fee. A little more pricey than public transport, but a whole lot better. No pesky people, free music...?"
Still no response. Just an angered bounty hunter.
"Tell ya what, I'll be right over here." Taro went and sat down next to a window looking in at the clones.

Boba Fett spoke to Taves on the holo-projector.

"Just give me a few minutes, I'll handle this...."

A few minutes later, Lama Su appeared on the scene. He spoke,

"I just had a message from Darth Vader, it seems he sent a Bounty hunter to investigate the recent sabotage..... They wanted this man to come to keep the investigation discrete.... So let him enter...."

Taun We bowed to Lama Su and spoke elegantly,

"As you wish Prime Minister....." She then turned back to Taves, "You may proceed..... Please follow me... I will take you to the crime scene...."

She walked very slowly, then showing him the Terminal that had been accessed by the spy.

"This is where it happened, the girl changed a few strands in the DNA codes of our future clones..... It will take many months to repair....."

Taves was silent for a second for a second. "Have you been able to get fingerprints, a strand of hair, maybe even a good look at the spy's face?
Anything we can use to ID this person is helpful." Taves stood there as he watched the Kaminoan scrunch her face in thought. His train of thought began to stray away to that drunken space pirate. "Who was he and what was he doing here." Taves thought to himself, but couldn't draw any sound conclusion.

"Indeed we found a strand of hair, but a DNA code is very complex so it will take a long time to identify the spy even with our modern technology...All I can tell you is what she looked like. She's about 16, was about 5'6" tall, athletically build. Her skin was very pale...Her hair was very red...you could easily spot her in a huge crowd....I hope this will help in your investigation, sir....?" She asked for his name in a polite way.

Taves responded trying to abandon his sarcasm for a more polite tone to match his host's. "My name is Taves Sarfell" he replied giving a short bow.
"That description might be substantial, but you said something about the DNA being complicated. How so? What I mean to say is Kamino has some of the greatest genetic understanding in the galaxy. What has seemed to have stumped you?"

"Like I said, even with our technology it will take days, maybe even weeks to decipher the spies DNA code. We don't even know we can match it with the information that is given to us...for all she could be is a rogue girl which has never been secured with her DNA. If there are no records of her with the data we need, then we could be stuck forever. I'm sorry I can't help you any further. I know this could slow your investigation down, but I hope your visit here has not been in vain..." She said in a calm and soothing manner.

Taves was dissapointed, but he didn't show it. "No, it wasn't in vain. You told me what you knew, and I at least know more than I did," Taves bowed and began to walk away.

However he stopped short as a question suddenly popped into his head. Turning around he queried "One more thing. I know that Kaminoans aren't usually betting people, but the Empire would jump to this conclusion too soon. I need an unbiased opinion. Do you think this was the work of the Rebel Alliance?"

"Which other organisation would attempt such an act? None would dare to, even Black Sun would never, they have connections with the Empire, and we do not believe they would do anything to jeapordize that...... We are pretty certain.... The Rebels have fought constantly against the Empire and have carried out countless of spy and sabotage missions before this...."

She escorted him to the door, and bid him farewell.
