Title: Interogation Room

Anakin - June 30, 2007 04:56 PM (GMT)
Next to the Torture Chambers, the Interogation Room is stalled. The ones who are interogated can hear the screams from the Sith's prisoners which makes them more tense and nervous, and easier to break.

Padmé - June 30, 2007 04:57 PM (GMT)
Ayanna followed the Sith instructor further into the Interogation room, she sat herself down. She did not like the idea of this at all, but at little choice. At one end, she thanked Kalin for this opportunity, and the other she began to wonder what she was doing there.

"So what is this all about?" Ayanna asked a little worried.

"Basic procedures young lady..... We'll just ask a few questions... That's all... There's no use to lie, we can see right through them..... So be honest or it would be a waste if you ended up in the room next door..."

Once more the screaming could be heard from the torture chambers. Ayanna couldn't help but get a slight chill from the sounds.

"I'll bare that in mind..." She said.

"We'll start simple.... What's your name? And your homeplanet?"

She took a deep sigh, "I am Ayanna Nyx, my homeplanet is Cophrigin 5...."

The instructor already pulled up his eyebrow at this,

"Any relations there?"

"Not anymore... They are all dead..."

"So why did you leave?" He asked his questions quickly.

"Because I had nothing keeping me there, and I wanted revenge...."

"For what?..."

"My grandmother's, and my parents' deaths...."

"You have any idea who killed them?..."

"My grandmother was killed by Darth Vader..... My parents by a man named Li... He was a Dark Jedi I believe..." She said reluctantly, but knowing she could not lie.

The instructor was very interested to hear her story,

"So why would you want to join the Sith if you want to have revenge on Darth Vader and this Dark Jedi you speak of?...."

"Darth Vader did what he had to.... That revenge is over.... My grandmother was a Jedi... So his actions are understandable.... And Li.... He is a Dark Jedi, this is true.... But if I come across him, yes I will kill him, but it does not stop my wanting to become a Dark Jedi myself...."

"And why is that?"

"I want to be stronger than he is..... So I can kill him..... This is the only way I can do it....."

"You've answered all these questions honestly, but I sense there is another reason you wish to join us.... Maybe a reason you are not aware of yourself.... If Kalin trusts you, he must have his reasons..... So, I will make sure you are accepted, on a few conditions...... That is all for now..... Proceed to the Force Training Chambers..... There we will test your skills....."

"Thank you..." She said as she rose to her feet, she was happy to get out of there and did not wait around long enough.

Kalin Thalis - July 2, 2007 05:15 PM (GMT)
back in the interrogation room, Kalin discussed the future of Ayanna and Chris...basically they were talking who could proceed to a higher level and who couldn't....The discussion lasted for more than an hour, cause it came to hard choice, Kalin tried to get them both to a higher level, but it seemed one of them wasn't destined yet, which made Kalin angry, almost furious, but there was no point getting angry. These instructors were not gonna be swayed. Their decision was final. Kalin left for the pupil chamber to get in touch with Chris and Ayanna and bring them the good and bad news....

Kalin Thalis - September 1, 2007 05:38 PM (GMT)
As Ayanna and Kalin entered the room, they saw three instructors sitting at a large table, waiting for them to sit with them. Once they sat, there was a moment of silence before the meeting itself began.

One of the instructors sat forward, "So, what happened on Ryloth? Tell us again from the beginning.... We need to know everything.... We were given a small update from Lord Vader but not much detail....." The man spoke in a stern voice.

"Well, we found Li but as soon as I was contacted by Vader, he disappeared. He kidnapped Ayanna and later I was able to recover her, but there was no sign of Li...."

"Ayanna, what happened when Kalin left to speak with Lord Vader? Did Li threaten you?"

"No... Not exactly..... He stayed fairly friendly though I knew it was not geniune....." Ayanna was interupted.

"You knew? How did you know?" One of the instructors spoke.

"I... I just knew! That man killed my family! I know more than anyone what Li is capable of!" She insisted.

"Right, what happened then.... It was said that he left yes? What happened?"

"He seemed to be bothered that Kalin had gone to speak with Lord Vader..... And after only a few moments of Kalin leaving, he went after him in the same direction, so I went to make sure he would not harm Kalin...." She stopped.

The instructors glanced to Kalin then back to Ayanna again, "Again, you did not know for sure what his intentions were, but you acted on your own impressions still...."

"I... I acted on my instincts! I thought that was something we were trained to do..... He WAS going after Kalin, when I followed him, he grabbed me by the neck and threatened me.... Saying that he will kill me when he sees me as 'worthy'.... Then I remember nothing... I woke on the Thranta with Kalin...." She sat back in her seat.

The instructors looked to each other. They were very skeptical and suspicious about this matter. They were whispering to each other. Kalin and Ayanna could not hear what they were talking about but no doubt it was about Li. Finally they turned back to Kalin and Ayanna. When the instructors looked back to them it was as though their verdict had been decided.

"Kalin, we want you to go separate ways now. Obviously Ayanna is too emotionally attached to this mission. Her hatred for Li makes her too unpredictable. So you will have to go after him on your own..."

Kalin interupted him, "With all due respect but I...."

"Silence!" The instructor yelled, "As I said, I have Vader's own authority on this matter.... And he told me that if the situation became too dangerous the decision was mine alone on how we would handle this matter.... So, you will go after Li alone! Ayanna will stay here.... She won't be harmed, she won't be punished. But she must never interfere in this matter again.... You are on your own...."

Kalin nodded but he was not happy with the situation. Both left the interoggation room as Kalin gave a big sigh.

"Well, I guess I better head back to the Thranta.... I really widh it wouldn't be this way but I don't have any authority on this matter.... Clearly Vader doesn't trust us anymore.... Involving Li that is...."

Ayanna nodded, she was not sure what to say at this time, but she had already made her mind up on this matter, regardless of the consequences.

Kalin Thalis - November 8, 2007 02:40 AM (GMT)
After they went to the entrance, some of the acolytes reported Kalin and Ayanna's presence on Korriban once again. The masters went to the first hall where Kalin and Ayanna stood as they knew they would arrive there.

"Kalin.... Ayann.... Folllow us...." One spoke with an angry tone.

They then proceeded to the interogation room where it was dark and cold inside, not a comfortable environment for Ayanna to be in.

"We will deal with Ayanna first!" One of the masters said to Kalin.

Suddenly Kalin spoke up, "No! I know how you people work, I will not tolerate that! I will be present to defend for what she has done, as I am also responsible...."

Annoyed, the master nodded and both were allowed inside. The master sat down at their chairs while the duo stood in front of them, awaiting what they had to say.

"So, Ayanna.... What do you have to say for yourself?...."

"Well I..." She began before Kalin interupted her.

"Well actually.... I called for her..... She left with me without her knowing I was actually using her as bate..... But with little luck ultimately.... Still, in further search for Li, we might be sucessful.... I apologise that I did not mention to you that Ayanna did come a long with me..... But, I had little time..... If I was to find Li on Ryloth, I had to get there as soon as possible....."

Ayanna looked to him a little bewildered, then looked back to the masters once he had finished.

The masters felt annoyed, they knew Ayanna disobeyed an order but as Darth Vader's apprentice, they knew they could not touch Kalin.

"Very well then.... Case is closed.... But you'll have to continue your search for Li.... He must be found..... I doubt Vader will always protect you..... If you keep failing....." He smiled sinisterly.

Kalin smiled himself as he was glad to outsmart these big headed fools who thought they had the upper hand in this matter.

Resei had a bad feeling. Not only becase he had been dragged through most of this Forceforsaken planet, or because the shadow the academy had cast as it towered up above him.
Not only because of the Sith that had walked through the halls and glanced hostile at him.
It was not the fact that he had been dragged into a room with a bad temperature in a corridor that could not mean anything good.
No- it was mostly due to the fact that he heard the same, asmatic breathing behind him that he had hoped to never hear again...

Kalin Thalis - November 10, 2007 04:43 PM (GMT)
"So what is a guy like you doing on Korriban? I mean, if your on the wanted list of the Empire... You should be smart enough to stay off Korriban..... I know you were suspected to those stolen TIE's..." The interrogater walked around Resei. Trying to intimidate him, make him afraid so that he would answer quickly.

"If you don't reply..... We can always go next door if you prefer?....." He hinted at the torture room where the interrogation could potentially continue for Resei.

lewy - November 10, 2007 04:49 PM (GMT)
Resei couldn't help a relieved sigh.
The breathing had just been his imagination! :P

"Ah.. Uhm.. I actually got that TIE from vader.. Sort of.. Anyway, I am here to receive training from a certain Remus-Qui..? So if you could just let me go and speak to him, and I won't trouble you ^^; Sounds good, eh?" ^^;

Kalin Thalis - November 10, 2007 06:13 PM (GMT)
The interrogated was surprised when he heard the name of Remus-Qui, his teachings were very different from other masters in the Academy. That is why they often dispised him.

"And why do you want to meet up with that low life?...." The interrogater sighed, "Oh well what does it matter..... Wait here until I return....."

A few minutes afterwards, the interrogater returned with a strong built man at his side.

"Well, here's the one you wanted to see....."

"So you wanted to see me? What could you possibly want from me?" Then Remus sensed something about him, "Wait.... This is about Kalin isn't it...... He mentioned me to you.... What is he on now?"

lewy - November 10, 2007 07:05 PM (GMT)
Resei considered the man for a while.
So this was the unorthodox master. Interesting.

"Master Remus-Qui. I am Resei Mantok. Indeed Kalin sent me, after we met on Ryloth. I am here to bend of from the path of the light (he mentioned nothing about taking the path of the dark, and hoped Remus would understand), and follow your teachings. He said you were the best one with my... ambitions... could get. I was hoping you could train me."

Resei just hoped Remus-Qui wouldn't deny him!
He had travelled so far, and done so much!

Kalin Thalis - November 10, 2007 08:00 PM (GMT)
Remus-Qui smiled at Resei with a little hint of sarcasm.

"So why would Kalin send you to me? He must have had a good reason to do that..... I mean, there are much better teachers in the Dark Side than me...... I have 'specific' teachings but how could I be sure to trust you with these teachings? You will have to explain to me why you would be interested in them? Why you would walk off the path of the light..... And take that one of the dark...... Or is it more that you want?...." He asked in an intimidating voice.

lewy - November 10, 2007 10:45 PM (GMT)
"You seem to ask many questions even thoug you know so much...
Kalin did not send me to learn about the dark side. Indeed, he sent me here to be thaught in the arts in which there is no better teacher than you.
He gave me an option. The light or the dark. I chose the grey..."

Kalin Thalis - November 11, 2007 03:09 AM (GMT)
Remus-Qui smirked "Haha! That Kalin...indeed he was one of my best student...and I can't deny that I was proud when Darth Vader himself recruited him...but also dissapointed as in the ways of the Sith, he'll probably only follow the path of the Dark instead of following both that of the Light and the Dark...but then again...why did he send you to me if he was purely on the Dark Path..."

Remus-Qui walked around Resei. He sighed and thought for a moment when Kalin graduated as his acolyte. But he dreads the day Darth Vader collected him to become his personal assassin. It seemed like a great honour for both him and Kalinj, but it also worried him.

"Listen...I don't teach like other masters here do. I think it's important that if you want to gain knowledge of the Force you should study as much of its aspects as possible...Question is...can you do that...Can you stay on the light path while following that of the Dark as well. My philosophy in life is one thing 'How can Darkness exist without the Light...and how can Light exist without the Dark.' Follow the same philosophy and I will train you..."

lewy - November 11, 2007 11:10 PM (GMT)
"The dark is not the opposite of the light. It do not even have to be the absence of it. They are both patterns of the force. If I shall learn the force I must study both.
Only if I learn them both, I shall learn anything. If you will not teach me, then.. Well, may the force be with me."

He said the last in the same tone as he would normally say "bottoms up".
He watced Remus with a look that was not pleading, not begging, simply interested.

Kalin Thalis - November 11, 2007 11:35 PM (GMT)
Remus-Qui sighed. He was a bit afraid. Kalin was a rare student. In the beginning he was very tempted by the dark side, though when he grew older so grew his interest in all aspects of the Force. He wanted to know all about it. And Kalin is one of the few acolytes who succeeded to do so. But there where a lot of acolytes who failed as they were too tempted by the Dark Side of the Force rather than also learning about the Light Side of the Force. Would Resei be any different, he wondered...

"Very well...Go to one of the Acolyte's chambers that isn't occupied yet and settle yourself. I will see you in the main hall later and then your training shall begin..."

lewy - November 11, 2007 11:53 PM (GMT)
Resei bowed, and with a slight "yes, master," he went to the Acolyte's chamber.
He had been accepted! He would learn about the force as a whole!
It was with a slight smile on his face he turned around a corner and crashed into his first student...

"OI! Look out! Darned newbie... Should have choked you if I only knew how..."

Then the young Sith arrogantly pushed him out of the way, and strode down the hallways, muttering curses.

If that is the dark side... Then I am not a Sith! I shall not fall to the evil of the empire! I swear on the (somewhat amputated and improvised, he grudgingly admitted) grave of my mother!
Note to self: Ask Remus-Qui why all Sith are so grumpy all the time!

Then he continued, and watched carefully as not to bump into any more Sith, who might know how to strangle him...
He barely dared to ask a grown up (and suspicous, seemingly potential malevolent) Sith where the Acolyte's chamber was.
He followed the vague description he had been given, and after a few dead ends and sarcastic comments he finally got there.
