Title: The entrance
Anakin - June 26, 2007 12:33 AM (GMT)
Guarded by two Dark Jedi, the entrance is a certain doom for those who are not allowed to enter the academy.
Christopher Enyar - June 26, 2007 12:37 AM (GMT)
Chris walked toward the door. He had his armor on, but was not wearing his helmet. He seemed to be rather calm considering where he was. He walked toward the door, and looked at one of the guards. He showed his datacard. "Allow me entry," he said.
Anakin - June 26, 2007 12:43 AM (GMT)
One of the guards grabbed the cards out of Chris hands and looked at it. He consulted with the other guard
"It seems to check out..."
"So what are we going to do?!" The guard asked his collegue.
He grinned sarcastically, "Let him enter...let's see if he can pass the tests...."
The huge door opened and inside you could see a huge corridor that was filled with darkness.
"Good luck....you'll need it..hehehehe"
The guards handed the datacard back to chris and took their positions at the gate.
Christopher Enyar - June 26, 2007 12:54 AM (GMT)
Chris paid them little attention after the door opened and he entered in. He could feel Darkness surge all around this place. It seemed to be both a whisper and a yell at the same time.
"This place... such darkness... Makes me feel more comfortable." His voice was cold and empty of emotion. He looked around at the place, noting the style of architecture.
It seemed perfectly made for the job of dark and creepy. "Anyone here?" he called out, and his voice echoed out.
Anakin - June 26, 2007 01:33 AM (GMT)
A instructor aproached him. He had no idea why a guy who seemed to be a Storm Assassin was doing here inside the academy...
"And what brings a low Assassin as you here...." He said looking down on him. As a Dark Jedi he looked down on everyone who wasn't Force Potential until proven.
Christopher Enyar - June 26, 2007 01:48 AM (GMT)
Chris studied the man. He then spoke out coldly, "I am here to proove myself and become a Sith." There was no emotion in his voice. He seemed merely calm, cold and yet dangerous.
Anakin - June 26, 2007 09:07 AM (GMT)
He grinned concerning Chris' attitude. He was bold, even he had to admit that.
"Well I guess if you managed to come through the gates, you must at least be here for a reason."
He walked over the a chest, which opened with the press of a small button at its side.
"But words wont help you...actions will...pick up this lightsaber...and try to get me....I'm serious...."
He handed over the lightsaber to Chris, who at first didn't seem to know what to do with it. The instructor already had his one ignited.
"What's the matter?! Afraid?! Hehehehe!!!"
He wanted to provoke Chris to fight, so he would make the first move.
Christopher Enyar - June 27, 2007 04:24 AM (GMT)
Chris had to study the device for a moment. It was ratherelogant, and seemed to fit well in his hands. He was able to tune out the provokation, ignoring it almost completely. Chris found the small trigger, but seemed less like finding it, and more like being guided to it. An elogent red blade formed out. He twirled it around for a moment to get used to it.
While he was very used to Vibroblades as a primary weapon, the Lightsaber felt different. For one, it felt alot lighter, making it easier to move, but also easier to harm yourself. Another thing was that it left little room for error. A single mistake could cost an arm or a leg, or even your head.
He went into stance. His stance was cautious and defensive, but at the same time, easily able to counter-attack. He made a straight strike at his opponent's heart. He knew this would be blocked, and as soon as it was, the lightsaber would twirl downwards and then come back up and strike at the opponents head.
Anakin - June 27, 2007 02:46 PM (GMT)
"That's enough for now...I can see you have skills but they seriously need more developping...You can keep that lightsaber, they are not very advanced but they will serve their purpose in your training...I will soon guide you to your quarters. The Sith Academy holds more than 150 students. You can easily interact with them by challenging them for a duel for example. If you have questions you can always turn to our teachers. They will show you the true nature of the Force...."
The instructor guided Chris to his quarters.
"Here....These are poor chambers for you to sleep, but they are suffeciant enough...You can stay here during your education. After you graduate...you're on your own..."
Christopher Enyar - June 27, 2007 10:50 PM (GMT)
Chris nodded, but stayed silent the entire time. He studied his lightsaber for a moment. It suited him, he thought. He had clicked it off already, but he was already remembering the blade. The pure beam of Red Energy that had shot out was a glorious sight to behold.
His room was a simple one. It was made of old stone. There was a small computor, a stone chest for his belongings, and a bed. Not a bad place for rest.
Christopher Enyar - June 29, 2007 08:42 AM (GMT)
Chris had moved quickly toward the entrence. He pulled out his Lightsaber and already clocked it on. It was hard to sense the creatures as they were so immersed in the Darkness of the Force here. He had to be very cautious.
Chris saw one of them before it saw him. The large creature was a perfect predator, and was filled with the energies of the Dark Side. Chris went for it while he still had stealth on his side.
He jumped at it and tried to slash downward at him. As he did, the second one jumped at him ina a surprising pounce and made him hit the ground.
He was directly under the beast, and it snapped at Chris' face. Chris kicked the beast, trying to keep it off. He then used the Illusion technique, making another him to confuse the beasts. They jumped at the image, and Chris got up, slashing at the beast again. While it stung a little, it did not go completely through the beast. Chris would have to get more focused. He stood in a Form VII position.
He fought back again, and sent a large series of slashes and stabs at the first one. He eventually made the beast fall. He did not wait to see if it was dead or merely unconcious. He stood and waited for the next one to attack.
They stood still. Both merely made eye contact and stared at eachother. Chris' eyes seemed to keep it's interest, as they looked so inhuman. Chris made the first leep. He attack with a jumping motion. The beast jumped bac away from him, and seemed to speak ina alanguage Chris could not understand.
Chris did not allow it much chance to make conversation, and continued to try and strike it down violently. His face was calm, but he fueled his attacks with his own inner emotions, making him powerfully charged as he attacked.
The beast, however, was evasive. It continued to evade his attacks with animalistic speed. It then bit at Chris' arm. Chris was suddenly feeling a shot of pain that made him drop his lightsaber.
The beast pushed Chris down, and bit him on the shoulder, keeping him down. Chris was bleeding, but not dieing. He was completely at the creatures mercy now, though. He could only hope some other being would help him, but then thought it was unlikely.
Chris was being dragged by the creature. It was dragging him farther from the academy then he would have liked. Was it taking him to the valley? Perhaps. He was trying to regain his energy, but always felt the constant pain of being dragged from a bite to his shoulder.
He had been bleeding for a good bit, but blood flow seemed to stop. Chris suddenly was let go of at a cave like area. The beast seemed to just be standing over him now. He had no weapon, and the creature no longer seemed to be acting hostile toward him, for the moment. The Hound then began to speak in a language Chris did not understand. Chris then tried to apply the Force to this, trying to speak to the animal's mind. But he found something interesting. He started to dominate the beast's mind, and control it. He mayed it carry Chris on it's back.
They walked back to the academy. Chris grabbed his lightsaber and entered again. He eventually found the same dark jedi who had given him this mission. "I have one alive," he said.
Anakin - June 30, 2007 11:31 AM (GMT)
The Dark Jedi ordered to capture the beast to other pupils who seemed to have nothing better to do.
"Good...well you had a tough fight...check up to your wounds...then return to me...I have another task for you...."
Christopher Enyar - June 30, 2007 11:34 AM (GMT)
Chris bowed and left with a slow walk. He would need to wait a while for this to heal, but the Force would be a small help. He went to his room for the rest.
Anakin - June 30, 2007 04:08 PM (GMT)
Once past the entrance, they stood in the great halls as Kalin was looking for the nearest instructor to talk about Ayanna's new position. That is, if she was to be accepted.
After a few moments, one approached him.
"Kalin, welcome back to the Academy..... Who is this? Is she authorised to be here?"
Kalin replied, "I have Lord Vader's approval.... He said he wants a full report on her..... So I request that she is tested....."
"Very well..." The instructor said, taking them to a dark interogation room. Scarly close to the torture room.
Ayanna gave a worried look to Kalin, he'd never seen her worried before. Not genuinely.
"Kalin, you will have to wait outside..... Explore the Academy..... I will find you when it's over....."
Kalin did not like the sound of leaving her alone with these butchers, but he had no choice but to accept it. He left for the lightsaber training.
Christopher Enyar - July 3, 2007 03:07 AM (GMT)
When Chris walked out, he looked different, mostly from his armor. He had recolored and modified it. It looked more intimidated. The black figure that was Chris looked up into the sun. He was going to leave for a bit, and work on his own business, until the Dark Jedi needed something done. He moved out on his way to get a ship.
Ayanna Nyx - August 30, 2007 03:15 PM (GMT)
Back at the entrance Kalin sighed again.
"Here we are again....". He gazed at the entrance which was so familiar to him. It opened up automatically when both stood before it as if they were expected and yes indeed, the door opened and a few of the instructors already stood in front of them with a not very happy look.
"Welcome back Kalin...Ayanna...We've been expecting you!"
Kalin didn't reply. He only thought to himself, 'Why am I not surprised..."
Later they walked further to the interrogation room where they would consult, debate about the doings of Li. Where would he go to next? Nobody exactly knew...
Ayanna didn't like where this was headed. The aspect of Li beforehand was troublesome, but now with it being a 'family matter', it just made everything feel more raw and more personal. She didn't like it but she had little choice but to accept that it was everyone's right to know what was going on with him. She couldn't help but wonder if the Dark Jedi would now see her as a threat rather than a comrade.
