In the Clone Wars a mysterious Jedi Syfo-Dyas ordered from the Kaminoan cloners a secret army created from a single indivdual. An agent named Tyranus who was none other than Count Dooku, killed by Anakin Skywalker, selected the clone source: Jango Fett, a man whose natural combat ability and high endurance level would produce the ideal soldier. Under Kamineon Chief Scientist Ko Sai, the clones' genetic code was altered to accelerate their growth to twice the normal human rate, and their mental structure was subtly reconfigured to make them obedient to authority.

Now Palpatine keot the order of Clone Troopers which become Stormtroopers in the Empire, they became more advanced. Other templates are being used since the original source died at the beginning of the Clone Wars. Clones learn faster and become more independant. Growth Acceleration is still used to grow them, but the process is stopped at the age of 20 and clones live in the same lifepan as other humans. Still they stay very obedient, but their loyalty can be changed however unlikely.
