Taves Sarfell - June 28, 2007 01:26 AM (GMT)
Taves walked into the weapons store looking at its wares. Then he saw what he needed mounted on the wall.

He walked up to the counter and looked the woman behind the counter in the eye. "I need a KYD-21 blaster pistol." The woman smiled "excellent choice" she said that will be three-hundred credits. Taves winced at the price but he paid up.

KayenXStorm - June 28, 2007 11:30 PM (GMT)
Kayen entered the weapons shop outside of Mos Eisley, shaking the dust and sand from his vest. Orange eyes looked around the small shop as he walked to the desk and spoke to the dealer "I'll take a DL-18..."
The shopkeeper quickly took the blaster from the display case and Kayen left the credits on the counter, sticking the blaster into the right side of his belt as he left quickly.

Anakin - June 28, 2007 11:33 PM (GMT)
OOC: Don't forget to take the credits off your balance

Taves Sarfell - July 2, 2007 02:14 AM (GMT)
Taves walked into the weapons shop he was happy because he was about to buy his first blaster rifle. However he felt sick about the amount of credits he was about to spend on it. He walked up to the counter, spying the weapon he was looking for. He smiled at the shop keeper. "I need a Senate Guard Ceremonial Blaster Rifle." The shop keeper smiled back. "You're lucky, we don't get much call for those. You got the last one for now."

The shopkeeper handed him the rifle. Taves touched the rifle like a delicate woman. "Thank you" he said. He paid the man and left.

Taro Jetter - July 2, 2007 05:35 AM (GMT)
Taro entered the weapons shop where he heard he could get a new blaster since he had lost his old one somewhere..
Where was I that day?...
"Hello?" the kindly shopkeep interjected.
"Oh. Hi. Um.. yeah. I was looking for a place to buy a new blaster."
The owner gave him a look of disbelief along with a raised eyebrow. "Well, if you'd look around, I'm sure you'd find some."
"Right.." Taro scratched his head and walked out.
"Oh! Wait. haha. Sorry. I'm a little tired."
"I wouldn't know if you hadn't told me."
"Sarcasm, eh? Well I'll take the KYD-21 you've got up there on the wall."
The gun was carefully pulled from the wall and currency was exchanged.
"Thanks. I'll see you around." Taro smiled and walked out.
"Yeah.. probably not."

Nexus - July 5, 2007 07:57 PM (GMT)
Kilek entered the weapons shop and began looking around for what he would need. They had quite the selection but he didn't really see much until he was almost ready to leave. A Slug Thrower, original; some would say out of date. " I want the Slug Thrower Pistol. " Kilek said to the owner.

Kalin Thalis - July 5, 2007 07:59 PM (GMT)
The salesman handed the weapon over...that will be 250 creds, sir!

OOC: please take 250 credits from your balance

Shiv Sedran - July 7, 2007 01:47 PM (GMT)
Shiv entered the shop as an other man was leaving. Looking up at the array of blasters, he smiled. His smile turned into a frown when he looked at the price tags. His eyes lingered on the DL-44. Classic Smuggler. He wished he had enough for it. Maybe next time, he thought. "I'll take that DL-18." He gestured to the simple pistol in the glass case. The shopkeeper opened the case and brought it out. Sliding several credchips over the counter, he clipped the weapon on his right side. That felt better.

KayenXStorm - July 13, 2007 01:32 AM (GMT)
Kayen entered the weapons shop quietly and stepped up to the desk. "I'm interested in purchasing a Slugthrower..."

"That'll be 250 credits..."

Kayen put the credits down and took the Slugthrower rifle and ammunition as he left the shop.

Taves Sarfell - July 31, 2007 03:17 PM (GMT)
Taves had always imagined the idea of having a pair of blaster pistols. Now since he had just received his first paycheck he decided he might as well get his second blaster and train with a pair. He walked up to the counter of the store. "Hello maam" he said to the woman behind the counter. "I'd like to buy that KYD-21 blaster pistol." "Ah, alright Sir that will be 300 credits" said the woman as she passed the blaster over the counter. "Thank you" said Taves, taking the blaster and handing over the credits. He walked out of the store. He was eager to start training with his new blaster.

RayCaptain - August 16, 2007 11:45 PM (GMT)

"I'll take the Holdout Blster,"

He payed and walked out to the misc-weaponry store.

rkv8291 - November 2, 2007 05:42 AM (GMT)
Rasha made her way slowly down the row of blaster pistols that were on display at one of the gunshops she was visiting. Every so often, she would pick up a pistol, examine it, see how it felt in her hand, and then put it back down again, all under the eye of the watchful shopkeeper. Finally coming to the end of the row, she went back to the middle, picked out a DL-18, and turned to the shopkeeper.

"Can I try this out with some of your gunbelts?" she asked. The man -who had been watching the scantily clad twi'lek with an appreciating eye- nodded his head.

"Go ahead."

Rasha smiled.

"Thank you."

Walking over to the selection of gunbelts and holsters that the shopkeeper had on display, Rasha selected two set ups that had the features she wanted and tried both of them on, testing both how they felt to wear and move around in and how well she was able to draw from them. Deciding that the second one was the better of the two, she holstered her blaster and walked up to the counter wearing it.

"I'll take these," she told him, patting the gunbelt and swaying her hips just a little as she did so. The store owner nodded.

"That'll be three hundred credits," he told her. Rasha put on a pouting expression.

"Isn't it supposed to be two hundred and fifty?" she asked. The shopowner shook his head.

"That's just the gun. The belt's an extra fifty."

"But a gun's not very useful without someplace to put it."

She shook her head.

"And I was about to tell all my friends about how good a bargain your store was. Too bad you're just a little outside my budget."

The shopkeeper sighed.

"Okay, fine, I'll throw in the belt as a freebie for you this time."

Rasha smiled and clasped her hands.

"Really? Thank you so much. I'll be sure to put in a good word for you with my friends."

The shopkeeper grinned.

"Thanks. Please come again. I really..."

He coughed as his eyes wandered down his customer's form.

"...I really appreciate it."

Rasha winked as she laid out her payment.

"Thank you very much!"

"You're welcome," the shopkeeper replied as he watched his customer leave. His didn't take his gaze off her until she was out the door.

Ve Das - November 2, 2007 11:30 AM (GMT)
Fenrir slips into the dark warehouse and surveys its dark interior. It takes him a few moments, but he finally spots the shadowy form of a large transport and cautiously moves towards it.

"Evenin', Dul Gurak. You got my wares?"

The pallid Twi'lek wordlessly pulls out a crude low tech weapon, somewhat resembling an age-old firearms concept known as the "uzi". Fenrir looks him straight in the face, green eyes burning into red as his aching fingers fumble for some credits which he puts into the Twi'lek's outstreched palm.

"Now gimme that gun."

With his new slugthrower in his possession, Fenrir quickly leaves the warehouse.

RandomStarWarsFan - November 11, 2007 03:57 AM (GMT)
Caedrit entered the rather shady looking establishment, eager to purchase some protection for himself. He'd realized his new profession came at a price. The more risky and dangerous lifestyle he chose to pursue, the more often he'd run into th wrong end of a blaster barrel. He didn't want to be caught empty-handed if it came to that.

"Excuse me," he said to the clerk. "I'm in need of a blaster..."

"Yeah, you and everyone else in the galaxy," the curt attendant replied.

Why does this always have to be difficult?, Caed thought to himself.

"Alright, I need something relatively discreet without lacking firepower," he added. "Something like...that model." Caed pointed out the Scout Trooper Blaster Pistol.

"350," the clerk replied, placing the pistol on the counter top.

Caed reluctantly placed the credits on the counter and took the weapon, stuffing it into the back of his pants and loosely covering it with his shirt.

"Much obliged," was his only reply as he swiftly slipped through the exit and continued on his way.

Approx - November 14, 2007 03:34 PM (GMT)
Aaron Carr walked into a blaster shop, all around him were blaster rifles and pistols, He was in need of one since in his line of work there would probably be much shooting and fighting. He saw something he liked and walked towards the counter and soon as the attendant saw him it started greeting him " Good morning to you mister, is there anything i can help u with?" "no thank you, At the moment i am just looking around". He kept looking around for a few moments when he finally found what he liked, It was a Kyd 21 Blaster pistol. "Excuse me i would like that Kyd 21 blaster pistol". "Certainly, Here you go". The attendant handed over the blaster and Aaron handed over 300 credits to the attendant and then made his way outside.

gaaraofsand13 - November 29, 2007 04:13 PM (GMT)
Biggs walked into the store, which was surprisingly neat and tidy. He glanced at the weapons, looking for the right one to keep his enemies off his trail. Immediately, he saw a Holdout Blaster, which was enough to keep him protected.

"How much is that holdout blaster?" Biggs asked the storekeeper.

"Two-hundred and fifty credits," she said with a smile.

"That sounds fair enough," Biggs said, as he handed over the credits.

"If you'd like, I could upgrade it with a chrome finish for an extra fifty credits," she said in a perky voice.

"No thank you, this will do it," Biggs said, in his own polite voice.

He immediately strapped the blaster onto his belt, and strode off out of the store, his black cloak billowing.

"Thanks again!" He said, just before he left.

"He seems nice... I wonder what he does for a living?" The storekeeper thought to herself.

KayenXStorm - December 17, 2007 11:38 PM (GMT)
Kayen entered the shop still angered over the horrible pay that he had received. He looked around quickly before pointing to the Dual Westar-34 blasters.

"I'll take them."

Kayen handed over the 1,250 credits and took the blasters, slipping them into his belt.

Jikkata - February 18, 2008 05:30 AM (GMT)
Jikkata entered the weapons shop along with the chrome plated protocol droid, C-2D0. Jikkata glanced over the wares, giving a friendly growl of greeting to the shopkeeper. Finally he gave a series of howls and pointed. Toodio chimed in brightly, "Hello, sir. Master Jikkata will take that DL-44 Heavy Blaster Pistol please." Jikkata paid the man and the pair left.

scottborek - March 2, 2008 01:13 AM (GMT)
Scott entered the clean looking weapons shop and asked,"Can I have a pair of WESTER-34 pistols please?"

Jikkata - March 11, 2008 08:29 PM (GMT)
Jikkata entered and surveyed the wares. He gave a friendly nod to the shopkeeper and finally his eyes fell on the object he had come here for. Pointing he said, "I'll take the Wookiee Bowcaster, please."

He paid for the weapon and left the shop very pleased.

Northman - April 17, 2008 12:09 PM (GMT)
Many years ago...

"What can I do for you today, Sergeant Valton?" the requisitions officer asked.

"I'd like a personal sidearm," Davish replied.

"Sure thing, here you go!" the officer handed him a standard issue blaster.

"No, no. I said personal, so I'd like it to stick with me for quite some time. I need something a little less... standard, if you don't mind," Davish explained.

"Of course. Personal sidearm. I see. How about the new KYD-21? It's quite expensive, but you're entitled to a discount on personal equipment," the man explained.

Davish studied the weapon, felt its grip and adjusted the sights to his liking.

"It's a fine weapon, indeed. I'll take it. You can draw it directly from my salary."

"Aye, sir. That'll be 300 credits. Have a pleasant day."

The blaster has stuck with Davish ever since then.

OOC: The "discount" is obviously just for RP reasons (and to accomodate the fact that this weapon is fairly new at the time it is bought, but has been on the market for a few decades in the campaign's "real time", thus there would probably be a price difference in-universe)

rkv8291 - July 12, 2008 07:09 PM (GMT)
OOC: Hope the 'custom' nature of Rasha's new weapons here is okay...

IC:
The showroom of Kodal's Custom Blasters did not look all that impressive at first glance. It was a fairly small weapons shop, and the number of blasters on display did not seem to be particularly impressive. That impression tended to change however when knowledgeable customers took a good look at the merchandise on display.

Kodal's was not a cheap weapons shop. It dealt with high quality, custom made weapons, generally either made or modified by Kodal himself to meet his customers requirements. It was a place where serious gunmen who could afford to spend a bit extra went to get there weapons.

It was also a place Rasha had been to before while she was still being mentored by Lajar. She knew the value of the work Kodal did.

Walking through the shop's front entrance, Rasha was greeted by the aging but still capable master armourer.

"Ah, Rashavar'til," he greeted her using her twi'lek name. "I've been expecting you."

Rasha nodded her head.

"Hello, Kodal, it's been a while."

"Indeed it has. I'm surprised to see you striking out on your own. You seem to have done quite well for yourself."

Rasha shrugged.

"Yeah, well, Lajar wasn't going to keep me around forever. He wasn't thrilled to have me to begin with."

Kodal laughed.

"True, he didn't like being burdered by others. Not that I think you actually burdened him, of course -your usefulness more then outweighed the burden you put on him- but it's the impression he had."

The old proprietor smiled.

"Anyhow, I'm sure your eager to see your new pieces. I'll fetch them from the back for you."

Kodal disappeared into the back of the store and returned several minutes later with two sleek looking blaster pistols which he handed to Rasha.

"Do they meet with your satisfaction?" he asked.

Rasha studied the weapons closely, feeling their weight balance and checking the fine craftsmenship of their internals. They two guns were more or less clones of the S-5 Heavy Blaster pistol, but differed quite heavily from the base gun. Where the S-5 was loaded down with all sorts of extra hardware, the guns Kodal had built for her were lightweight quick draw pieces, their emphasis not on extras but on a simple, fast to draw weapon built to higher standards then almost anything else on the market.

"They look good," Rasha decided as she looked down the trapezoidal fast acquisition sights. "I might want to play around with the grips though."

Kodal nodded.

"Of course. You want it to fit your hand right."

Pointability was an important consideration with quick draw weapons. Leading Rasha into the back, Kodal allowed the twi'lek to try out several sets of grips, seeing how the guns pointed for her with each of them. They finally settled on a specific set and proceeded back to the front, where Rasha paid Kodal 1800 credits for the two blasters -a price comparable to that of an ordinary S-5. To an inexperienced user, it might have seemed like a steep price given the fact that Kodal's custom pieces lacked the Scopes and accession gun of the guns they were based on, but it was actually quite reasonable given the high degree of craftsmenship and customisation inherent in the weapons. Kodal even threw in an excellent gunbelt for Rasha. He obviously had a certain fondness for the young twi'lek.

Twirling around once with her new weapons holstered at her sides, Rasha turned to Kodal and smiled.

"Well, looks like I'm set."

She glanced over at her old DL-18 and Model 434, which now rested on Kodal's counter.

"I don't suppose you'd be willing to buy that DL-18 off me?" she asked. Kodal smiled.

"For 250 credits, yes. It's actually pretty well made by DL-18 standards. It ought to be able to make a decent custom piece out of it. The other one I'm not so sure about. It's already been heavily modded -I couldn't do much more for it and I hate to sell other people's work as my own."

Rasha nodded.

"I was planning on keeping that one anyway. With a good scope and a shoulder stock it could make a decent compact carbine for ranged work."

Kodal laughed.

"Hey, if that's all you want, I can mod her for you pretty quickly."

Rasha smiled.

"Sorry, but I can't really afford it right now. Maybe some other time."

Kodal shook his head.

"Don't worry about it, you can pay me back later. It's not a big job-"

Rasha shook her head.

"No thank you, Kodal. You've been generous enough already. I'll see you around. Good luck."

Kodal smiled softly.

"Good luck, Rasha."

The weapons smith watched with a sad smile as his old friend's former charged walked out of his shop.

Taves Sarfell - September 1, 2008 09:09 PM (GMT)
Noddian approached the counter. The man behind it looked at him sideways. "You know, you look familiar." "Not really" replied Noddian. "I'm just another man trying to make his way in the Galaxy." "Well we don't tend to be the making kind around here" said the salesman. "What we sell around here tends to undo." Noddian looked up at the racks of weapons, imagining which one he might use to one day put a hole in Brogen's face.

It was a good few minutes before he had made up his mind. "Alright, I'll take the E-5 blaster rifle and the 434 blaster pistol." The salesman took down what was requested. Noddian looked at the rifle, passing an expert eye over it. "Give me another E-5" he said. The salesman looked at him as if he hadn't quite heard him right. "Sorry?" "Another E-5" repeated Noddian "the power pack compartment is broken on this one." "Listen here" returned the salesman "that's the one I gave you. That's the one you'll take."

In the next few seconds the salesman found his face on the glass compartment in front of him, with the 434 blaster pistol pressed against his temple. "How about you listen to me" said Noddian. "I have money you have guns. Your job is to supply me with a reliable weapon. I also have a job to do and not alot of time for your flak. I suggest you get a new E-5." "Alright!" said the salesman. He returned to the rack and pulled down a new E-5 while Noddian kept the 434 trained on his head. "Here you go" he said. "And here you are" said Noddian as he placed the credits on the counter.

As Noddian turned to walk out of the door, the salesman called out to him. "What are you planning to do with those guns, put a crater in someones head?" Noddian turned and looked at the salesman "If it suits the job."
