Far outside the city,a small but deadly outpost sits. Normally something this small wouldn't be a problem but these Rebels had an ion cannon. That could be bad in many ways.

A stormtrooper walked up to Ray as they camped on a hill and asked,"What would you have me to do sir? The bombers are ready and the troops are on edge,"

"Well I say..give me my weapon! I want to lead my men to battle. Also,I want it gone before we give them the bombs!"

Ray recieved his blaster and he led 19 of the best men onto the right flank of the camp. When they were in striking range Ray ordered a Shock Trooper to put a missle into the wall. This was done and a huge hole appeared in the outpost. After this the 19 troopers and Ray lay on the ground and waited. When some 50 Rebels came out of the hole they were slaughtered by the snipers on the hill and by all 20 of the men on the right flank. Then something terriable happened. A few Rebels fired missles right at Ray's position. The missles hit hard and Ray was knocked back from the blast. Ray's sight went blurry and his leg was in terriable pain. He felt like he was getting close to fainting so he gave the order to send the bombers.

The two bombers screech past the base and in a second or two half the base explodes. The Rebels take off and retreat towards the south. With Ray and his squad to the east and the rest of the troopers to the north-west,the Rebels had nowhere else to go. Most are just sniped off but about fifty made it to a plain about a mile away. Ray was loaded onto a strecher and carried to the edge of the plain and there sat the fifty Rebels. Most of them had ran without a gun and the ones with a weapon had blaster pistols. Ray stood up and went down,by himself towards the Rebels. He limped until about 20 yards away before a Rebel took aim and called out.

"Take another step and I'll put a hole in your head!"

Ray stopped and took off his helmet. He put it down and limped with his hands in the air. When he got to the sole rebel he talked him into giving up. They walked back with Ray in front. Ray walked over to a soldier and whispered an order. When the Rebels got about ten yards away the clones opened fire and killed them all.

"I said I'd kill them all,and I did. Now get me back to my ship!"

The clones carried him back to the hill and then loaded him up. He thought about the chat that the young boy and Ray had talked about. The Rebel boy had been only 15 years old but he had chosen to fight so he had to be killed. Ray's mind was now playing tricks on him. He saw his mother scolding him for doing such a thing.

"That damn blast must of put shrapnel in my brain..." Ray then blacked out.

When he awoke they were just docking into The Devastator.
