Finally he was there.
A mission on Tatooine.
He wore just filthy clothes as he had been told, and hoped he looked shabby enough.
He would off course have no problems acting like a Tatooinian, as he actually was. piece of cake...

He sucked in the fresh Tatooinian air, and covered himself in a little more dust to cover the Mandalorian soil. He had to look like he hadn't been there... He couldn't cover it all, but as long as the dust was Tatooinian the other soil could easily pass as mud.

He headed straight to the more shabby Mos Espa.

Not having left more than about an hour ago, Resei returned to his ship having solved the mission. He had to deliver the moneys of course- but he already felt free of shame.

He entered the shuttle a split secong before a blast hit the ship where he had stood short time ago.

- Buggar!! he shouted in anger, closing the door to the ship.
Damn liar!! He wanted his 50 credits back...

He powered up the engines, and felt the ship rocking from to more shots.
Then the ship took off, and was soon outside shooting range.
Resei let his breath out, and focused on the piloting.
No reason to get yourself killed, boy... Not yet he thought.
But it gave him no comfort...

Resei arrived again.
He knew his TIE would make people stare, but he did not care.
He would soon get rid of it, and by a new and better shuttle.
He went out, soon eyeing one of his recruits, Taves.
That was fast, he mused. Good!

He eyed his recruit for a while, before heading towards his old moisture farm, with his new and better equipment.

Two stormtroopers approached Resei:

"Excuse me sir, just policies...but is that ship yours."

They were carrying very heavy blasters. These weren't just stormtroopers. On Tatooine they were known as Sandtroopers, very good survivors.

"Oh, of course.
Take it, return it to the death star or wathever you want.
Send my greetings to Lord Vader when you're on about it..."

Resei had no problem giving it away.
It was just a ship!
The Sandtroopers looked puzzled.
He did not care to explain, he just had to see his old moisture farm.

He left.

(Resei Mantok's Moisture Farm)

"Hold it!" He pointed his blaster at Resei

"Stop right there!"

His partner walked to Resei

"As I said...where did you get the ship from...you better have a good explanation. There have been reports of Tie Fighters being stolen....you better pray for yourself, you're not involved...."

He spoke in a very treatening way, while his partner still pointed his blaster at him.

"I wouldn't make any funny moves or...."

He crossed his fingers over his neck warning Resei that if he just walked away or tried something else he would be dead.

"Get the picture?!"

Resei got angered.
Not only was he being stopped in front of his recruit, he was also delayed.

"Well, if you really want to know Lord Vader sent me in it to complete and urgent mission on Mandalore.
I'm trying to give it back.
Just speak to Lord Vader himself, he can comfirm what I say."

He spoke in a threatening tone humself, not liking the delay.

The Sandtrooper was still pointing his blaster at him.

"Then you can join us to the outpost and contact Lord Vader himself....let's see if he can confirm your little story."

They escorted Resei to the outpost where they immediatly moved to the communication centre.

"Last chance, either you tell us the truth, or you can take your chances with Lord Vader....are you prepared? We are...."

Sandtroopers were known for their independance, unlike most stormtroopers who were clone, they could work independant and were more bolder and sometimes even rebellious against their superiors. Character traits that ARC-Troopers also possess.

Resei and the recruit landed.
Resei then took the recruit straight to the perhaps most shabby place he knew, Bonta Eve...
The recruit did not say a word, but Resei saw his nose almost twitch at the stench.
He smiled behind his visor, and then they went looking for a space pirat...

Resei pulled the recruit with him to the hangers.

"I won't be long.
You wait here for the Pirate.
When I return, you will know what things a skilled bounty hunter need...
And then it's your mission..."

Resei sat in the shuttle, leaving a confused and frustrated recruit behind him as he plotted the course for Ryloth.

Resei landed.

"Wait inside until I tell you, Moirine, OK?"

She nodded, still not used to being given a chance to deny things.
Resei smiled and went out to meet the recruit.

"You will fly my starfighter back to Mandalore when it shows up..."

"Yes, Sir.
Sir, what is the thing needed to be a skilled Bounty Hunter?"

Resei smiled.

"Skills, lot's of luck, a starfighter, informants, and off course someone like Moirine by your side for certain missions."

The recruit looked confused.

"Moirine, Sir?"

"Off course you must be able to lie, and to hide your feelings, too.

He smiled.

"This is Moirine," he said as she, too, disembarked.

The recruit looked at her with big eyes.
Resei knew she was beautiful, but still he hit the recruit in the back of his head.

"Hide your feelings, I said!" His voice had a humourus tone, but the recruit didn't understand it.

"Sorry, Sir, I diidn't mean to..."

"And now, " Resei interrupted, "we wait for our Pirate to show up."

After one hour, Resei, not knowing the Pirate could not enter hyperspace, was tired of waiting.

"Ok, folks, we don't have time for this... Recruit- you have hopefully learned something by observing me for a while.
Now you know how a great Bounty Hunter can trick a man to believe he's going on a dangerous mission on a wasteland-asteroid, while he is only being used for help..."

Resei smiled, and Moirine gave a short laugh, then was terrified at her own boldnes, not used ti her new freedom.

"Just kidding, youngster. You have not been used, but you have been usefull. If you have learned any of my better sides, it should help you on the mission I will send you for once back on Mandalore."

Then they all went into the shuttle, discovering there was barely room for them all.
Resei got some not actually free-willingly intimacy with his new "slave".
With great difficoulties they finally set off for Mandalore...

Resei landed in the hangers again.
This place brought so many memories, and Resei could almost see pictures in his head not having to use his Kiffar sences.
He disembarked, and headed straight to the Dune Sea, in search of the Twi'lek family.

Resei was slightly disappointed at what he had found, but he had promised Fett to be quick, and had no time to lose.
He sat in the shuttle, and headed for Naar Shaddaa...

Resei decided against showing of, and landed simply but good in the hangers.
He had to find that recruit he had sent to a planet to find an informant.
He knew he was located somewhere here, without money or transport...
Then he was going for a revenge-assault.
He decided to start in the cantina.
He had a feeling they would have seen the recruit.

When Resei finally returned to the shuttle, he was exhausted.
He had at the worst been creeping through the desert, needing water desperately.
He had only rested once, when he had been knocked out by exhaustement for some hours.
Now he was tired, but proud for his achievments.
He crawled into the shuttle, put on the auto-pilot, being to exhausted to pilot himself.
He didn't wake up before the control board was beeping furiously, warning that Mandalore was right ahead.
