Title: The Thranta
Description: Kalin Thalis' Ship

Anakin - April 5, 2007 10:49 PM (GMT)
Kalin finally arrived at the landing platforms. He actually was tempted to land on the plaza of the capital to make a certain impression. But he decided to stay more undercover so he couldn't draw any attention. He wore his cape and saw the beauty of the city. Maybe he was wrong. Maybe this city did have its beauty. He headed to the plaza to search around for the mysterious girl he met at the Jedi Temple.

Anakin - June 24, 2007 11:41 AM (GMT)
By the time, their young visitor was out of sight, Kalin and Ayanna finally arrived at the hanger bays. There stood the Rogue Shadow ready for departure. The ramp lowered and both were about to enter the ship.

"Sad to say goodbye to this planet?" Kalin asked her.

"No...afteral...if I didn't came here...I would never have the great oppertunity to meet 'you'..." She again replied in sarcasm.

Kalin was thinking: "I'm really getting fed up with this...."

"Wait!" Kalin said

"What now...." Ayanna said in annoyance

"There's something not right...." Kalin said.

He focused his senses, as it was dark he barely could see someone moving, but he knew something or someone was watching them.

Christopher Enyar - June 24, 2007 07:00 PM (GMT)
Chris' movements were quick. He expected his fellow assassin would move as well. Chris jumped out directly behind the female. He put his right hand blade across her neck, and the other arm trying to grab her arms. "Don't move," he commanded to the other, his voice much colder and masked by the helmet then when they had met before. His emotions were empty, and cold.

Padmé - June 24, 2007 07:48 PM (GMT)
Out of anger Ayanna elbowed the Storm Assassin, causing her to fall on the ground as she did. She held to her elbow after it smashed off his solid armour. She then immediately ignited her lightsaber and merely pointed it at him. Though she was in a very vulnerable position, she hoped that Kalin would step in for once.

Kalin himself ignited his lightsaber also but unlike Ayanna he did not make a move, and waited for the storm assassin to make his.

Christopher Enyar - June 25, 2007 12:21 AM (GMT)
Waited for a moment. She had escaped his grasp, but he suffered very little damage from it. He was in a defensive position, both blades out, and he was ready.
Chris was rather good at fighting. He moved swiftly, and elogantly, with knowledge and precision. His movements were quick, and he attacked the female with a swift stabbing motion, followed by a slash to her face.
His partner, in the mean time, went after the male suspect. His strikes were more about speed, and he swiftly swiped at the Suspected Jedi's stomack.

Anakin - June 25, 2007 10:53 AM (GMT)
Ayanna just managed to dodge the strike at her face. However she was caught at her shoulder. She still could not understand why this assassin was striking at her after she stated she was not a Jedi. However she thought her lightsaber spoke for itself and he had drawn the wrong conclusions.

Kalin was playinjg with the Storm Assassin who tried to catch him with speed, but Kalin was always a little faster than the assassin. He always dodged. He never used his lightsaber. Until it got too boring for him slashing both Echarn's hands off, which caused him to be defenseless as the vibroblades fell to the ground still attached to his wrists. The Assassin then fell to his knees. Kalin didn't bother about him anymore and moved to the other Assassin who was attacking Ayanna.

The Assassin was good in what he tried to do. He gave Ayanna no oppertunity to strike back, but she was still too fast for the Assassin to eliminate her. She dodged another attack where she could escape from the deadly vibroblades on his wrists, but the side of his armour hit her pretty bad in her face, knocking her unconscious. Kalin watched as it happened. She fell to the ground and he quickly catched her preventing more damage.

The Assassin waited to make his next move, but Kalin had something else in mind.

"Listen...I want to make a deal with you...You can either face a certain death....or you can join me......"

He paused.

"Yes....What I'm talking about is that I can get you connected to the Sith, which will make you more powerful than you can possibly imagine..."

Christopher Enyar - June 25, 2007 11:57 PM (GMT)
Chris paused for a moment. He did not let down his guard, staying in a defensive position. He had to think over this offer for a moment. Well, let's think about this. On one hand, becoming connected to the Sith would be rather advantagous for me, and this one actually seems to know how to fight. On the other hand, this could just be some ploy to get me to lower my guard.
"Why would Darth Vader approve a mission to hunt you if you are a Sith?" questioned Chris, his voice still a little masked by his helmet and his cold, emotionless tone.

Anakin - June 26, 2007 12:01 AM (GMT)
"It's all about deception, my friend.... You were supposed to die here.... Darth Vader knew this.... After all... I am his secret Apprentice.... Why would he have me killed?" Kalin laughed and looked firm again to him, "But on the other hand.... Nobody can know I am his Apprentice.... This is why you were sent on a mission to kill me.... To keep up the act..." He grinned.

He continued, "But now I have other issues..... The girl I have with me could be a Jedi.... So it's your duty to kill her.... BUT..... There is more.... And I intend to find out what..... So she's to be left to me.... And nobody else will know about this..... Agreed?..... You stop hunting us.... And I will get you connected with the Sith.... You can either accept it.... Or die here.... Now...."

Christopher Enyar - June 26, 2007 12:10 AM (GMT)
Chris did not need much more thought on the subject. He nodded his head, and his blades retracted back instantly. "Fine," he said, his voice still cold. He then walked over to his once fellow assassin and twisted his head in an instant with a disturbing crack, and the Assassin was dead.

Anakin - June 26, 2007 12:13 AM (GMT)
"Good... I can see you have some sense.... Here.... Take this...."

Kalin handed him over a datacard encripted with a code that would allow him into the Sith Academy on Korriban.

"This will get you anywhere.... You should have no difficulty getting inside the Academy but you'll have to prove your worth..... It's not like you can swap your vibroblades immediately for a lightsaber, son.... Understand?"

Christopher Enyar - June 26, 2007 12:22 AM (GMT)
"Yes," he said, coldly. He took the datacard. He waited for a moment. He started to walk away from them. He was going to go back into the Imperial Transport, that would now house only one.

Anakin - June 26, 2007 12:25 AM (GMT)
Kalin smiled as the once Storm Assasin left

"By the looks of it, he had a very short career...I wonder how he will survive in the academy....longer I hope...hehe" He was thinking

He dragged Ayanna in his ship and took off, heading for Tatooine.

Kalin Thalis - March 25, 2008 10:46 PM (GMT)
Kalin landed the Thranta once again with annoyance. He knew he had to hunt some Jedi down and he didn't want to be, but he knew he didn't have a choice in the matter. He wondered what he was going to be confronted with now. Maybe it was just a bunch of newbies which could be wiped out in a second. Somehow he hoped for that, but on the other hand he hoped for a challenge. If there were newbies, there had to be a Jedi Master around, most likely. So that could be a challenge to him. And this would provide some good exercise for Ayanna. She needed more experienced, though her vision of the Force had changed lately, so he wondered if she would still follow him on this. The ramp of the ship lowered and Kalin already had his ligthsaber inside his artificial hand. It seemed like the crystal inside the arm was giving him a feeling as if it was tingling. The beam of it was strong and he felt a certain attraction. He sensed something was going on. A great disturbance in the Force, nevertheless, the hunt was going to begin...

Ayanna Nyx - March 25, 2008 10:52 PM (GMT)
Ayanna wasn't too comfortable with this, she had remained pretty quiet but decided to speak, "Kalin.... If we find these Jedi.... If they are on Naboo.... What..... What will happen..... What will we do?..." She asked cautiously.

Kalin Thalis - March 25, 2008 11:38 PM (GMT)
"Easy, we kill them. They are potential threats to the Empire and any potential threat must be eliminated. I'm sorry, but that's just the way it is. In these time you're forced to choose a side and believe me, you don't want to be a Jedi in these times. I don't believe them to be evil, but they still are against the Empire and there's no way they'll ever win over Palpatine - At least not on their own. They wouldn't stand a chance." Kalin explained as he tightened his grip on his lightsaber. Somehow his words contradicted how he was feeling. He did want to hunt the Jedi down, but not for the reasons he mentioned to Ayanna. It didn't make sense, but that was just the way it was.

Ayanna Nyx - March 26, 2008 01:26 AM (GMT)
Ayanna didn't like the sound of this, "Is there no way that we can try to convert them? Many a Jedi have fallen to the dark side before, perhaps if we give them a choice?..... Then maybe we can gain more to our cause withouth having to merely kill innocent people needlessly...." She wasn't sure if she had the right to say such a thing, but she felt she had to speak her mind on the subject.

Kalin Thalis - March 26, 2008 01:33 AM (GMT)
"Well that depends on them. If they are willing to surrender, then we will take them to prison and The Force knows what will happen to them. Jedi are stubborn and wouldn't give up the Light Side so easily. That's the problem. They would feel like they are selling their souls for choosing the Dark Side. And it would be very unlikely for them to do so." Kalin turned to Ayanna.

"Look, I understand why you feel troubled, so you don't need to try to hide it. At least not with me. These people have made a fatal mistake choosing the light side. What does it mean in the first place anyway. Light Side, Dark Side? There's no such thing. You know I tried to teach you to become something in between, so you are neither a disciple of the Dark Side or a servant of the Living Force. Instead I try to learn you to become an individual, so you can make your own choices and goals. Whether you use the light side or the dark side, doesn't matter as long as you believe you're doing the right thing. Unfortunately no everybody thinks that way and there is no way that either the Jedi or the Sith will change in that aspect."

Ayanna Nyx - March 26, 2008 01:39 AM (GMT)
"I believe in Individualism also.... But why should we then force these people to believe what we do Kalin..... They are wanted by the Empire but not by us..... If they wish to follow the light..... Or even the dark side..... If it is their choice..... Then I don't want to force them to not do so.... Otherwise I am then no different than Palpatine.... He tells, think like me..... Or die..... I don't want that.... I may not agree with them, but it is their life.... In a democratic society, we have to accept people's choices.... Whether good or bad....." She sighed, she didn't like the idea of having to kill these people just for walking the light path, "I will stand by you, you know I will... But I will not hide how I feel...." She said as she looked to him.

Kalin Thalis - March 26, 2008 02:10 AM (GMT)
"That's the problem, it's not really a democratic world, is it? The Senate agreed to become an Empire, it was their choice. A choice that is now maybe regretted, but a choice of the people as the senate speaks for the people! They choice to give up their freedom and surrender it to a dictator who controls everything in his way. And don't forget that the Jedi tried to overtake the Republic too. Maybe for good, but it was their choice, not that of the people! Do you agree with such actions?" Kalin asked but he shook his head and already moved forward to follow the scent of the Jedi.

Ayanna Nyx - March 26, 2008 02:17 AM (GMT)
"I don't believe one group of people should be allowed to determine what many do.... I think that the Senate.... Of the Republic, had the right idea.... But it was too flawed.... Too many gaps and cracks for corruption to grow and spill out onto everything.... The Empire was already waiting there for Palpatine.... It is a credit to show just how corrupt the Senate was, that a man like Palpatine could climb to power so easily.... And demolish everything..... The Senate of the Old Republic was flawed, but it was not as bad as the Empire..... And concerning the Jedi wanting to take over.... That too is dangerous.... But either way, someone would have had to take over from Palpatine.... Who would be better? A jedi? Or another corrupt politician?" She asked.

Kalin Thalis - March 26, 2008 02:54 AM (GMT)
Kalin kept on walking. "You'll never find perfect leadership. Everything is flawed...even the Jedi. But I already told you. The Jedi made their choice and so did we. At least so did I. I tried to show you a way between that of a Jedi and a Sith, cause they are both flawed, even in the choices they make. How else do you think they got themselves killed?! They were ignorant. It's a burden on us that we have to learn the teachings of the Jedi and the Sith under their mask, that of the Sith, but there is no other way to do so. So I'm giving you a choice, you can join them and live in fear from the Empire. Or you can stay with me in a safer world where you will still have choice. Either way, if you're not with me, you're against me!" Kalin said rather frustrated of what Ayanna was talking about, though he did react rather harsh.

Ayanna Nyx - March 26, 2008 03:02 AM (GMT)
Ayanna stopped walking as he continued on ahead of her, she found his outburst rather strange, on not the neutral way in which he said he tried to teach, "I never said anything about joining the Jedi, Kalin..... I was merely talking...." She said, looking rather annoyed at him, "All I was saying, was just as you said.... Everything is flawed..... The Sith are afraid of the light, and the Jedi are afraid of the dark.... But I fear neither..... They are both part of the same thing....." She frowned slightly at what he said, not sure what to make of his outburst, "That anger of yours...... You shouldn't take it out on me..... Use it for when it's necessary..... I'm not your enemy.... I though you realized that by now....." She said a little hurt.

Kalin Thalis - March 26, 2008 03:10 AM (GMT)
"Then why were you so desperately trying to save these Jedi? You don't eve know who they are? Heck, they might even be Dark Jedi, we don't even know. But it doesn't seem to matter to you. No you don't like the fact that they are being killed. Well it depends on the choice they make. I didn't want it this way, but we can't do anything about it. I thought you would understand that by now. The rebellion will be crushed, just as the Jedi were. It's even stupid trying to train them. It only leads to their death. So who's really responsible here? Me or the one who trains them to become enemies of the Empire in the first place, pushing them in a conflict they might not have chosen to be in, in the first place?!" Kalin said, though he had calmed down. "Everything is flawed. It's for us to make things better. If turning these people into Dark Jedi will save them, doesn't that mean we did a good thing? Doesn't it mean we saved them from their deaths? In the end they can still choose to run, but you know what that will result in..."

Ayanna Nyx - March 26, 2008 03:14 AM (GMT)
"I understand killing them if they are a threat.... But I don't want to seek these people out intending to kill them.... Just as you said, we don't even know who they are.... I will judge as soon as I meet them.... If we can convert them to our cause, then I don't mind that..... But if they do not, I will not rejoice in taking their lives.... But it doesn't mean I will not become a murderer..... I just don't like feeding the beast that is killing everything that is good in the galaxy, including us....." She said as she continued to walk again at his side.

Kalin Thalis - March 26, 2008 03:30 AM (GMT)
"So you do consider the Jedi to be good?! That's narrow-minded. I thought I taught you that both Sith and Jedi are flawed. You can call neither call them both good or evil. I told you, good is a point of view, the Jedi and the Sith are almost similar in any way, including their quest for greater power. They were afraid of losing it, and that's exactly what happened. Now they are lost and scattered around the galaxy. Now choosing to become a Jedi isn't evil. I never said that. But they are potential threats to the Empire and I have to take care of that. The problem is your view in politics. If you think the Jedi were democratic, I think you got it wrong. Why would they overtake the Republic, if they were? Or do you doubt that ever happened? The fact is I know it happened, but it isn't as the Empire displays it. They didn't want Palpatine to rise as he was a Sith. And you know Jedi and Sith don't mix well. So since they didn't want the republic to fall, they wanted to take over, cause let's face it, both the republic and the empire is flawed. But there was no way to save either the Jedi or the Republic. If you want a democratic world, then the Empire has to fall too and a new republic should be born, but I see that far from happening."

Ayanna Nyx - March 26, 2008 03:36 AM (GMT)
"Kalin, I never said I thought the Jedi were good either..... If we were seeking out dark Jedi, Jedi, politicians, doesn't matter... Anyone, with the intention of killing them... My first question would always be why, and do we have that right..... Not because I think they are good or bad, just I value life, in whatever form it may take.... I don't think the Jedi were democratic... Though I think they believed themselves to be.... They wanted to take over the Republic... But why? Because the next politician in line may not have been able to keep the countless systems at bay, because he was not voted for democratically... And also because Palpatine had power over not only the Senate, but the Courts also.... And those there favoured him, and may have ended up doing exactly as what did just happen..... The creation of an Empire.... Palpatine wasn't the first to start this ball rolling, he merely took the wheel ..... The Jedi decided to do what they thought was best.... What THEY thought.... But at the end, what would have been the best thing to do? Without a Chancellor, the Senate would have crumbled. People would have shouted on and on for a replacement. Demanding a vote... But who would supervise over that vote? Usually the leaving Chancellor would, but that was impossible. I think the Jedi, their intention anyway, was to take that role while the voting commenced until it was decided who would take over... I don't think they ran into this with excitement.... They must have known the dangers it would bring...... I'm trying to look at both the Jedi and the Sith objectively.... I don't see the Sith as completely evil..... But they are not good.... And I don't see the Jedi as completely good.... But they are not evil..... I do not know what the galaxy truly needs in order for peaceful times to reign.... Perhaps if I did, I wouldn't be standing here now... I'd be out there trying to bring that day to it's dawn.... But I know I can't......" She said with a sigh.

Kalin Thalis - March 26, 2008 03:50 AM (GMT)
"Oh you don't know how much I have asked myself the same questions as you, everything you just said. Don't you think that ever crossed my mind. Take a look at Obi-Wan Kenobi. Why didn't we kill him, huh? If I'm such a killer-without-thought, why didn't I just kill him. He was a Jedi? But I know the Force still has great plans for him. And I see a tiny bit of hope for the galaxy. It small, but it is there. I see a new hope. But it's not the Jedi or him. It's something else. And I would place my bet on that kid, Luke Skywalker. But if you want to live under the mask of the Sith, then we must do what we have to. Otherwise we'll be hunted down too, and we'll die for sure. With that more hope dies for this galaxy, cause at least I still try to keep things in balance for myself and for us. I never said I would kill these Jedi without thought. If they show that they are a danger, then there's not much choice left, but if they do show that their intentions are good, then I'll help them all right. I'll try to set them on a better path. But a path that is neither that of the Jedi or the Sith. Again they are both flawed. But I just question what you'll do! If they show nothing but stubbornness and only fight back to survive. What will you do? Run away, so you can allow these people to live, while you know they'll just be hunted down by someone else. You might as well give them a quick death, before they get captured and tortured by a sick minded dark Jedi. Wouldn't that be merciful, or do you also think that would be evil?"

Ayanna Nyx - March 26, 2008 03:56 AM (GMT)
Ayanna stopped, placing her hand on Kalin's face, "I don't think you are just a mindless killer.... Of course I don't..... And in the end, as I said, if they will not listen to reason, I will side with whatever you think is best to do..... I am still learning Kalin...... And my perceptions on things have vastly changed recently, you know this..... If we had been having this discussion a month ago, I'd have been drooling to kill these Jedi.... Why? Because they are Jedi, nothing more.... But now I'm not like that at all..... And I agree, to give them a peaceful transformation into The Force is better than the twisted kind of death they could and probably would recieve at the hands of Dark Jedi......" She said as she looked to his eyes.

Kalin Thalis - March 26, 2008 04:04 AM (GMT)
Kalin nodded: "I'm glad we agree on that part. Now let us try to find these Jedi. Then we'll see if there is a chance to save them, however unlikely."

Kalin walked forward again, with his deepest concern for Ayanna's dark thoughts. In a way he wanted her to think as an invidual, that was the point of his training to begin with, but her thoughts would be very dangerous for herself. For her own life. If she had shared this with anyone else, her death would be sealed. The teachings of the Sith would never have allowed this. She would be neither accepted by the Jedi or the Sith. So she should consider herself lucky Kalin was trained by Remus-Qui and that Kalin tried to pass those teachings onto her, though he felt he was failing.

Ayanna Nyx - March 26, 2008 04:09 AM (GMT)
"Where were these Jedi supposidly seen? I'd once read of rumours of this Queen having some sort of connection with Jedi, but I never really believed it.... If it was so well known then the Empire surely would have investigated before us and then dealt with the Queen accordingly....." She said as she looked to Kalin for his opinion.

Kalin Thalis - March 26, 2008 04:25 AM (GMT)
"There was no information, where they were last seen. And I don't think it would be wise to ask the Queen about this. If she knew that we were looking for Jedi, asking her about it, it might endanger us, making her think the Empire suspects her, hiding Jedi."

Kalin walked further and tried to sense something, but so far he only felt something faint.

"No, we can only rely on the Living Force now. That is our only chance in finding them."

Ayanna Nyx - March 26, 2008 04:31 AM (GMT)
She turned her head a little, she could sense something but she wasn't sure if it was a Jedi, it was something else. Very faint, but she wasn't sure if it was important enough to mention to Kalin, "Well, where would be the most likely areas... Jedi would not stay in the open... They would do as many have done, such as Obi-Wan Kenobi.... Hide somewhere where their presence will blend in..... There is Otah Gunga... Though it is heavily populated.... And their connections with the Naboo is strong, so I don't think they would hide ...... But there are the forests.... And the mountains......" She said as she looked to him.

Kalin Thalis - March 26, 2008 04:39 AM (GMT)
"I'm not sure where they would hide. First we'll go to Theed, the capital of Naboo. Then we can make out later where the Force will guide us. I already ordered the 501st to guard the platforms. They'll inform us, if they indeed spot suspicious activity, cause no doubt they know that we are here. But we are ahead of them, that might be our only advantage."

Kalin made his way to the city itself. It was pretty crowded there. So he wondered how they would start looking for those Jedi, from here. "There's something around, but they're not here, that's for sure."

Ayanna Nyx - August 27, 2008 01:46 PM (GMT)
Ayanna kept very much to herself while they traveled to Naboo, she was deeply tormented on what she should do. Vlasta had pretty much indicated that she would make sure Kalin was destroyed if she did not complete the task. Was it possible she could do that? Of course it was, she thought. She could not stand that thought, but if she killed Vader, could she live with that either? If Kalin found out, what would he think of her? He would never understand, perhaps never believe her if she said it was the involvement of Black Sun, even she had difficulty believing it. It was all too much for her. She hated having to keep this from Kalin, but if she did tell him, it would mean they would both be in very serious trouble.

As she sat in her chamber thinking, the comlink vibrated again. She looked at it oddly, as it should not do that, but she started it up nonetheless.

"Ah finally, was beginning to worry about you. Where do you think you are going? As indicated you are nearing on Naboo, I don't think Lord Vader has a holiday home there by any chance..."

The voice snickered, it was Yuuli Vlasta.

Ayanna kept her voice quiet, "No, Kalin is coming here just for, well business." She did not want to reveal anything about Kalin, it was not her business.

"Well, don't forget our little understanding. You'd better not stay away from Coruscant for too long. A few days perhaps, but then back you come. Even if your master is not present, doesn't matter, just get back and finish your job."

"What you ask is impossible! I can't do this! I can't lie to K... To my master! And to kill Vader is just ridiculous! Better than I have tried to do that and not been successful, you're insane!" She said, raising her voice slightly.

"Let me remind you of the price you will pay if you do not settle our agreement. A pesky Sith Apprentice is not out of the reach of Black Sun and our minions. And neither are you darling.... I'll be in touch"

The transmission ended, as Ayanna flicked the comlink shut and placed it back into her pocket. She crawled herself up into her bed, her face wet with tears of frustration, anger, worry. She did not know what to do, and she could already see that Kalin was suspicious of her. Only time would tell...

Kalin Thalis - August 27, 2008 02:05 PM (GMT)
The Thranta landed in the capital of Naboo, Theed. Kalin wasn't happy to be here again. Every visit he took, he took with great reluctance and this visit was no different. If he had to train here, where would he? Ayanna suggested to go to Lake Country, but that is what struck fear through his heart, though not only fear, but remorse and other emotions he felt conflicted with. He was pretty sure Ayanna couldn't sense that he was feeling conflicted. She wasn't as experienced as him, though maybe he was underestimating her. Maybe she was now stronger than he presumed. He decided not to dwell on it and if she would start asking questions he would surely have a good lie ready to sweep it off.
"So is there anything you wish to do before I start my training. I can't train here. That would just be asking for trouble. Even now these stormtroopers give me the chills. Vader surely must wonder where I am now. I'm surprised he hasn't contacted me yet."
Talking about Vader made him feel guilty. It was such an issue what the Will of the Force had in store for him. And what did the Will of the Force demand of him. Kalin didn't know however that other demands were made, which he didn't know of. He only thought about his experience in the palace where he stole the Holocron. It still seemed to easy but again he decided not to dwell on it.
