History: As all Twi’lek women raised on Ryloth, Yuli’s destiny was always to be that of a slave girl or escort girl for rich men. At the age of 15 she was bought by the then Vigo of Black Sun for the Core Sector. He was old and losing his grip on life. For many years she served him, grudgingly, yet patiently, waiting for the day when she would turn things around. By the age of 20, her Master was almost entirely lost in the mind, only being able to speak through her when speaking with Prince Xizor himself. Through this opportunity, she learned all the dark and twisted secrets of Black Sun, this is what kept her Master alive as she saw it. She wanted to learn. Though her presence was not favoured, it was necessary. Any other Vigo would have been eliminated due to the lack of mental balance, but as he and the Prince had known each other for many years, Xizor could not betray him this way.
During one of the Prince’s visits, he discovered that Yuli had murdered her Master in the night by slashing his throat as he ate. This initially brought rage to the Prince, but Yuli spoke of her plans, what she had learned, what she felt was right to do in this Sector. The Prince himself for the most part looked over this sector, so convincing him to let her live and more than that give her power, was a great gamble. But in her words, he was very impressed and gave her the opportunity to prove she had worth other than that of a slave.
Since then, she has charged over the Core Sector with vicious fingertips and cruel punishments for those who betrayed Black Sun. The Prince’s assistant Guri however has never trusted her due to the way she removed her former master and because of her attitude. Even though she was once a slave herself, she demands to always have Twi’lek slave girls tending to her, treating them every bit as nasty as she was once treated by her master, perhaps crueller. She has cut off all recollection that she was once a slave herself, and has been known to kill anyone on the spot who brought up that fact to her.
