Cloaked Kalin arrived at Xizor's palace. He identified himself as Palpatine's representative. Though the security seriously doubted his word, they opened the gates to his palace, where they firstly took his lightsaber from him. Then they informed Prince Xizor immediately of his presence. Prince Xizor didn't trust the situation but he was intrigued what this representative came to do here on behalf of the Emperor. If Kalin's reasons to come here were genuine this could be very useful to him. Xizor agreed to meet Kalin in the guest area. Kalin slowly walked escorted by guards of Black Sun. He felt some satisfaction that he at least was able to reach him. Now he simply had to find a way to release Ayanna from the Prince's grip.
Once inside the guest area, Kalin was left alone with the Prince who feared no hostility from him, which was another advantage on Kalin's behalf.
"I thank you for this meeting, Prince Xizor. You won't regret this. I come to speak about urgent matters that might intrigue you."

The Prince glanced Kalin up and down, his talk regal green figure standing tall above him, "Is that a fact? Well, you know that I am always happy to meet with ambassadors of the Emperor, we have always had a good business relationship." He said with a hint of interest in his voice, though he still seemed curious as to what this was all about.

"I hope I am not forgetting some previous trade agreement." He grinned, knowing fine well that he wasn't but trying to charm his new guest.

Kalin gave a little smirk, "No this is a proposition for you, my Prince. The Empire is concerned of the dealings of one of your Vigo's, namely Yuli Vlasta. As you of course know all activity of Black Sun are declared legitimate when the Empire has its shares in its dealings. However it seems your Vigo has been dealing in spices, smuggling them in an attempt that the Empire wouldn't know about it. But we are no fools, my Prince."

Kalin began to look more sincere. This was no joke and he was lying. But he had to convince the Prince that he was truly sent on behalf of the Emperor.

"Of course we don't want to jeapordize our relationship with Black Sun, so the Emperor wants to solve this peacefully. So I came to ask if you will take care of this matter personally."

Xizor's face soured, "Ms Vlasta is an ambitious character, but she would not perform such an action without my approval." He said, though he didn't seem entirely convinced, "What evidence do you have of such dealings? If you have it then I would most like to see it, if any of my Vigo's put a foot out of line they are dealt with most severely. Ms Vlasta is one of my protégés, she has never done anything against my will before, I find it hard to believe she would be so foolish as to do something like this now."

"I admit I can't deliver you any evidence Prince. But isn't this kind of the relation the Sith have with each other? You know as well as I do that both the Emperor and Vader are Sith. And when the apprentice wants to raise to the title of that of the master, then he'll backstab him, no matter what their relation is. Well I presume this matter is no different. You said yourself that she is very ambitious. Ambitious enough to lead Black Sun herself perhaps?" Kalin said in a voice that provoked the Prince that he might be right on this subject.

"If Vlasta earns the money with dealing and smuggling. And you wouldn't even know about these threacherous actions, wouldn't she be capable of taking over Black Sun. She has many loyalists, who would help her to become leader of Black Sun."

Prince Xizor inhaled deeply as he listened to Kalin's words, "Yes, I see your point, but see from my point of view. Without this evidence you speak of, I am blind in the dark. I cannot go ahead and punish one of my most respected and prosperous Vigo's for the sake of this word of mouth information. Surely you Sith would not do the same in your positions, no, you gather information first and then act on the results. But this is tricky. If she is doing as you say, she will deny anything I ask or inquire about. However, perhaps Imperial intimidation would be in order?" He said with a sneaky grin, "The perfect way to know if she is truly dealing behind my back, and essentially yours is to go to her about the matter. Tell her that the Empire is aware of such dealings, that you will report her to myself unless she is willing to cooperate with the Empire. Make her fine promises that she will take my place if she is to listen to your word. She will have the intimidation of not only a Sith but of the Empire, and my wrath also. If she runs cowering to you, then I will know of her treachery and deal with her immediately, and of course compensating the Emperor for any loses he may have experienced." He said finally as he turned to Kalin.

Now came the point where he had to intimidate the Prince of how striking Vader's wrath could be if he continued his plan to kill him.

"I will go to her just as you requested, Prince Xizor. Though before I leave there is another matter you should know about. The Emperor wants a peaceful solution to this. Though Lord Vader isn't convinced if you want to solve this in a peaceful manner as well. What can I say on your behalf to my masters so they will know your intentions are still honest?" Kalin asked to see how Xizor would respond to this tricky question.

Prince Xizor looked to him with genuine suspicion, unsure of what he meant with that strange question, "Know that if Ms Vlasta is seen to be doing anything behind my back that I will deal with her most severely as promised. I am a business man, and I would never break the ties that I have with the Empire, even I am not too proud to admit that without the approval of the Empire, Black Sun would not be what it is today. Send my apologies to your masters, that is, if Ms Vlasta is proven guilty of these dealings."

It was clear that the Prince had no idea about any plot concerning Vader, but only assumed Kalin was talking about the situation concerning what Kalin had mentioned before hand.

"My apologies to bother you with that last question, Prince. But these are dangerous times and Vader's suspsicion is explainable. There have been rumours of a plot to kill him and these rumours are not taken for granted."

Kalin turned around ready to leave as he raised his hood back up.

"Of course we would be very grateful if you could confirm if these rumours would be true. We know you have powerful connections, Prince Xizor..."

Prince Xizor seemed genuinely shocked by this, "Well I have not heard of these fictitious rumours, they are diabolical. I have had great dealings with Lord Vader as well as Emperor Palpatine, like I said, I would never do anything to damage the arrangement we have. That would be bad management, which is something I am incapable of." He said in a boastful manner, "Please let your masters know that." He seemed concerned by all of this, two shocking news stories concerning him and his organization, he did not like the sound of it at all, but appreciated Kalin's honesty with it.
