Kalin landed his ship on the platform. He came here because of two things he saw on the holonet. One was of the Chosen One look-a-like and second was that a bounty was placed on a girl's head named Ayanna, although her backname was unknown. Her picture was all over the net. She too showed interest in the one who is suppose to be Anakin Skywalker. It was ironic. It felt like he was looking after himself because of the strong resemblance to Anakin.

Kalin saw that a price had been placed on the girl's head for murder. The bounty was placed by One of the clanmaster's Tol Secura, so that was his first hunch.

Kalin arrived for the second time on Ryloth, but now with completely different intentions. Before the ship landed he had been training very intensly with droids that would now certainly end up in a junk yard. As he made total scrap of them during the training. He stepped down the ramp and was asking round if there were any slave auctions. One of the workers there mentioned to him that there was a special bidding. He didn't know where or who the person in question they were bidding for but she seemed to be quite the catch.

Kalin immediately left to the slave auctions in the hope that he would find the Vigo there.

Kalin watches as the Vigo leaves. When her ship leaves the atmosphere he heads for his own ship, smiling because the first stage of his plan was completed, but this was far from over. He would have to be more convincing on Coruscant to get her on his side. He was thinking of plans of betrayel, of death, but also of rescue. He thought of many things he would do when returning to Coruscant. He entered the ramp of his ship sighing thinking back of Aristal. Someway he had to get her back. He was dealing with mixed feelings, both of hatred and regret, but he knew he had to give her away to gain the Vigo's trust. The ship takes off and entered into Hyperspace, course setting back to Coruscant.

This was the third time Kalin arrived on Ryloth, but this time he was not alone. This time he had Ayanna at his side, but this was her mission, her quest and he promised to help her as best as he could. Though he had no idea what was going to happen. No clue what she would be doing. But he thought she was also thinking about what would be the next move to do.

"So what's next?" Kalin asked subtle.

"Well first thing for me is to get a disguise..... No worries for you but the last time I was here I em... Got in a spot of trouble concerning Tol Secura..... It spun around the HoloNet for a time but seems to have calmed down....... But still, if I get spotted then it will cause me more trouble than I'm willing to put up with right now......." She said, looking around to find a good spot to buy decent attire, "Well what to these blasted women wear on this planet apart from a bikini?!" She spoke loudly.

"I can think of a good disguise! Remember that slave costume you wore? Didn't you have onto it? You could blend in PERFECTLY wearing that!" He laughed.

"Damn, why did I keep that thing..... There must be another way for me to blend in....... Isn't there?" She asked, worried.

He put on a stupid look as though he was thinking, "I doubt it!"

Ayanna pushed herself up from her chair and went into her quarters. After a long while of hesitation, she came out wearing the old bikini that she had debuted in at the casino on Nar Shaddaa. She plated her hair, which was pulled to the front.

"Say anything now and I'll knock your block off, I swear!" She said walking past him down the ramp, "What's the act we put on now then..... Oh let me guess..... Your my 'master'?"

Kalin grinned and subtly said, "Exactly!"

"So what does a slave do then?"

"A slave follows her master..... That would be me!..... Eh hem!.... And does whatever he commands.... Eh hem...." Kalin thought to himself 'This is going to be more fun than I anticipated'

Ayanna rolled her eyes and began to walk ahead of Kalin, she hated having to leave her lightsaber behind but there was no way to hide it convincingly on this...... Outfit!

"Adanna!! Don't walk too far!" Kalin said very commanding, in an exaggerated manner.

"Ayanna stopped and looked at him, "You're pushing it.... 'Master'" She spoke sweetly at the end of her sentence.

Kalin still smiled but then he pulled a serious look, "Keep walking! You don't want to end up in your cage!"

She pulled back until she was walking close enough to whipser to him, "You're just loving this aren't you..." She said in an annoyed tone.

He laughed stupid, "Yeah I am!! Heh heh heh!" He spoke silently. He then kept bullying her, "Okay, no more water for you anymore young lady!"

Ayanna was ready to attack him, but kept up the pretense.

Kalin carefully placed Ayanna in her chamber where she could recover. She was still not conscious, he knew Li must have given her a rough time the fact she was unconscious for so long.

He went through to the cockpit and used the holocomm to contact the Academy.

"Listen, this is very important.... I have my orders from Vader, should Li Sorato return he must be executed on site...... He is now a fugitive.... But no not try anything heroic.... He should be considered very dangerous and nobody should try to face him alone....."

He then opened another transmission back to Vader where he reported his failure,

"It was beyond my control..... When I arrived at the club, they were already gone...."

"You must find him Kalin, and don't fail me again!" Vader's image disappeared, he did not seem to be happy. He was not happy in the first place of them going to Ryloth as he tried to advice not to go. But Ayanna was too stubborn and neglected it.

"This exhibition was just one big mistake...." He sighed.

He went back to Ayanna's chamber to check if she was conscious. He checked up on her wound, he managed to stop the bleeding. From the burn marks on her skin, he knew it was a lightsaber wound and he wondered why he did it. It did not go through to the other side luckily, although on her back he saw a scar which made him think of Li's 'work'. Li always liked to leave souvenirs on his victims. And it seemed that this wasn't the first one. He placed a proper bacta patch on her shoulder so that it would properly heal and not become a greater scar than it already was.

As he had no idea where Li would be heading to, he decided to leave back for Korriban for now. Though he knew Ayanna certainly didn't like it there. He activated the hyperdrive and the ship disappeared into light in an instant.

"Well, if you think you can handle the instructors that's one thing, but what about Lord Vader?... When he hears what we've both pulled just now..." She said in a worried tone.

"Don't talk about him... We have enough worries on our heads now..." Kalin seemed a little annoyed at the situation.

The ship finally began to slow out of hyperspace as it reached the Ryloth system once again. Ayanna was a little uncomfortable to be back in that planet. She even wondered if there was the slightest possibility that Li could still be there, waiting. But she knew that he would not try to kill her, not yet. First she would need to improve, first she would need to train.

"Do you think we will have any time for training on this journey? I want to learn more skills...." She said insistent.

"There's always time for improvement but not for training... If you want to improve, you'll have to work on the mission. If the mission helps you to improve your skills then you might get something out of it... But we are not going to spend time purely on training, we don't have that luxury"

The ship began to land on the planet, back to the spot where they had been a few days before.

The ramp of the ship lowered as they walked down it,

"Where do we go first? Back to the restaurant where we encountered him?" Ayanna asked.

"Perhaps yeah... Wouldn't harm to take a look there.."

They then began to make their way, retaking their old steps.

Kalin and Ayanna made their way back to the Thranta, they had stayed on this planet quite long enough for both their tastes. Though Ayanna was not exactly jumping for joy at where they were headed, and also, the concerns about her brother still plagued her from time to time.

"I know you're not really looking forward to going back to Tatooine, but Ryloth isn't the most interesting planet in the galaxy either..... Besides, I think something very interesting might happen on that desert planet....."

They made their way back into the cockpit, and Ayanna sat herself down, "Oh I'm sure it will be....." She said with a sarcastic tone, "The planet is just FILLED with excitement....."

The ship finally took off, awaiting a new goal.

Ayanna kept herself to herself, apart from Kaytoo who was her only company. She hated having the red haired bantha coming along with them, it didn't make her feel comfortable at all. She only hoped that they would find something useful on Ryloth. The sooner this issue was solved, the sooner they could kick her off the ship and not need to deal with her ever agai,. Ayanna cleaned Kaytoo up a little, though he didn't really need it but it gave her something to take her mind off things. As she was feeling pretty lost. Kaytoo gave a few beeps every now and then, enjoying the attention and company.

During the entire journey, Kalin sat in the cockpit thinking. Mara Jade sat with him, with a sneaky smile on her face looking at him from time to time, while Ayanna kept herself busy with Kaytoo. Later they arrived on Ryloth and Kalin landed the ship on Platform 94. They all left the Thranta. Kalin and Ayanna both wore their cloaks which kept their lightsaber hidden, but Mara was known to the Empire and she had no need to hide hers.

"I guess we should start looking into one of these dancer bars. Should be a typical place for your brother to hang out, no?!" Mara said. Kalin stood behind the two women and didn't reply, but waited for Ayanna to do so.

"Well my guess would be that he would hang out in the most scumiest, sleazy part of Lessu, where only the most pathetic lowlifes would gather...... So just pick a place you'd normally go for a drink and I'm sure we'll be on the right track...." She grinned sarcastically, with Kaytoo giving a few little amused beeps.

They continued down the ramp, walking towards the main city, but AYanna had no idea where to start. There was the place where Li had revealed himself for his true nature, but would he be there again? She doubted it, but then again, nothing was certain.

"We're not going to take that stupid droid with us are we?!" Mara asked in annoyance.

"Yes we are! He might be useful. He has radars and might help us detecting Li.

"Oh if you say so Kalin, but keep him out of my sight, he still stinks of that old metal..." Mara said in a snobbish manner.

"Well let's go to one of those bars you speak of, apparently you know these places very well, Ayanna, so just lead the way!"

Kalin knew Ayanna wouldn't go for this, so it was him who took the lead and started to walk towards the city. He was tired of this competition between them.

Once they got back to the ship, Ayanna sat alone with Kaytoo in the common area. She spent more time with the little droid than any at the moment. Mainly because he didn't say much but was good company nonetheless. She wasn't sure what to think of what had happened. She looked to Li's arm with still lay on the table in front of her, not knowing if what she did was wrong or not. She couldn't have killed him, but it was getting to that stage, even though that wasn't their orders. Maybe if Kalin and Mara had arrived sooner, things wouldn't have gotten this far. She played things over time and time again in her head, but with no answers coming to her. She felt chilled that she was even in the same ship as Li. A part of her wanted to go and talk things through with him, the other didn't, just wanted him to suffer. She sighed, lowering her head a little, hoping that Mara wouldn't strut in with her huge ego that barely managed to fit in the ship. She hated her almost as much as Li, though maybe she was exaggerating.

Mara sat bothered next to Kalin. Bothered that Kalin stopped her from killing Li.

"Kalin, why didn't you just let me kill that bastard. You know he'll be killed anyway and tortured likely." Mara said to him.

"I don't care, I don't want blood on our hands just by killing off a armless man."

"Nice way how you put it. 'Armless'..." She laughed. "I have to say I was surprised when I saw her with Li's arm and she ensured it wouldn't grow back. That's very 'Sith-like'. Maybe there is still hope for her, after all..."

Kalin looked at her. "You call it hope?! I call it arrogant and unnecessary. You have a target, you kill him. I would have killed him myself if we had gotten there sooner. But since he had no lightsaber anymore to defend himself I couldn't..."

"Oh so you would have killed him? Why?! Because he took your arm?!" Mara asked provoking him.

"No, cause he's an enemy of the Empire." Kalin said, but he was lying. He partially wanted to see Li dead, because he took his arm.

"You're lying, Kalin... I know you want your revenge. You just couldn't take it, cause there was no challenge. So don't give me that armless crap! I know you too well!" Mara said grinning with pride.

"No you don't...." Kalin said and they left back to Coruscant to see the Emperor. Kalin didn't look forward to it. It just gave him the chills to face him again. He would rather face Vader alone. He felt a bond with Vader, but with the Emperor he could only feel death itself.

Ayanna had sat troubled for long enough in the common area before she decided to go and speak with Li, she told Kaytoo not to follow her, but instead he went to the cockpit, perhaps to inform them what she was up to but it didn't matter. As she entered the room, she saw how he was trying to escape, though with not much luck. He looked to her, angered,

"Why didn't you just kill me?..." He groaned as he sat back.

"That's an odd thing to say..... Are you more welcoming death than what the Emperor has in store for you?" She asked with a plain expression, sitting in front of him.

"What are you doing here...." He asked after a long pause.

"I'm not sure, I guess because you didn't answer my question properly..... About why you want me dead.... You said because I was born... So what.... I didn't plan it, morron..... I think you're just jealous because you were cast aside and I wasn't...." She said sitting forward.

He groaned, "So?.... Our mother just..."

"Wait! 'Our mother'? I told you she wasn't my mother, I just found that out.... Don't you listen? I just want to learn more about 'our' family..... Don't you?.... We're the only two people in the galaxy who are like this....." She said sincere.

"Oh... So we're getting sentimental now are we?"

"DON'T!!" She shouted, "Don't talk like that..... Just shut your face and listen..... I never hated you..... Not until you tried to kill me..... But am I to be blamed for that?..... I want some answers, you're probably going to be dead in a matter of days, maybe less so you have nothing to loose in telling me..... Are you sure Adanna was your mother?" She asked.

"Yes..... Positive...." He said in a serious voice.

"But..... Sorry, you look older than you should.... You appear in your thirties but I know Adanna was pregnant only a couple of years before I was born...." She said curious.

He grinned, "Biologically speaking, I'm more in my forties, I guess I look good for my biological age...." He laughed, "But indeed, I was born a few years before you were...."

Ayanna was baffled, "How can that be?"

He groaned, "There was another reason I couldn't STAND you.... Not only because you were not a reject as I was..... You didn't have the iffliction Adanna had..... We age fast..... Double that of a normal human.... Look at you.... You're still a teenager.... Late teens anyway..... And look at me.... I should be 23, but I'm not......" He said bitterly.

This began to make more sense to Ayanna, though she wondered why there were differences between her and them, "I'm sorry but I can't tell you why I don't age the way you do.... I wish I could understand.... I'm trying to....." She sighed, "I don't want to kill you Li, I know I got angry and I hurt you..... But I was in the heat of the moment, your lack of understanding was infuriating me..... I felt like I snapped almost...." She admitted.

He looked to her strange, "Why are you saying this? What's wrong with you wanting me dead.... You're a Dark Jedi...." He then began to smile, "I knew it.... You're not a Dark Jedi!" He raised his voice as though he were enlightened, "You're a JEDI!!! You didn't kill me because you COULDN'T!! Because you have the heart of a Jedi beating in your chest, you scum!!!" He shouted more.

Ayanna immediately raised to her feet and pointed her lightsaber under his chin. She clenched her teeth, "If I were a Jedi.... I would kill you right now to save you from the suffering that you will endure at the hands of the Emperor...... But no.... I want you to suffer, the way you made me suffer..... The way you left me to die in a grave..... Orphaned..... But that will all be nothing compared to what you will have to live through..... Death is perhaps too good for you....." She sneered before switching off her lightsaber but still stood above him, both proud and troubled by what she had said.

Li said nothing, and merely looked away from her as she sat herself back down, with them both sitting there in silence.

Kalin walked into the chamber where Ayanna was arguing with Li. Mara was still in the cockpit for now.

"Is everything alright here. Seems things are a little tense between you and Li. You care too much Ayanna, even though you deny it to yourself."

Kalin walked closer to Li. "Thanks for chopping of my arm. Gave me something a whole lot better!" Kalin said presenting his artificial arm to him. He showed even that he could use Force Lightning with it, though he only a few sparks that come from his fingers."

"How did you do that?! What's that crystal in your arm. That's the Kiber crystal!! You do not deserve it!"

"What, what did you say?!!!"

Li didn't say anything anymore, he just grinned at Kalin's lack of knowledge about this crystal.

Ayanna looked to Li as he sat there, though with their connection, she was able to read his thoughts better than she would with any other Dark Jedi, but simply because they were related, "So, you think he has the Kiber crystal in his arm?..... And it can...... Give him the ability of Force Lightning...." She said looking to Kalin with surprise.

Li hissed at her, furious that she was able to read his thoughts the way she did.

"He knows more about it but, now he's doing his best to hide his thoughts from me..." She smiled a little.

"The Kiber Crystal? Yes I've heard it. It grew on Mimban. The locals called it the 'Kaiburr crystal', but it can't be the complete crystal. This must only be a small part of it!" Kalin said. He was highly intrigued about the crystal.

"Nobody says anything about the crystal! Not even you Li, or I will cut off your other arm too!" Kalin said threatening him. But would his threats work if he knew he was going to die?

"If Vader finds out he'll take the crystal from me. Don't even say anything to Mara Jade, she'll surely tell!"

Ayanna didn't trust Li who looked at her smugly, "If you even whisper anything, I'll give you the same treatment as with your arm..... But with your tongue....." She said serious.

His face soured a bit just to an angry expression, before he would've laughed, thinking they were empty threats, but after what she did, he did doubt what she was capable of doing.

"You know I won't say a word, Kalin....." She spoke before leaving the chamber, and walking back to sit in the common area.

"Hmmm, well she won't burn your tongue away, but I don't trust you enough! How will you tell the emperor about the crystal if you have no tongue at all... You'll have to miss it for a long time, Li!" Kalin said in a sadistic voice. Grabbed the man and burned his tongue off. It would take weeks for it to return. He howled in pain. Then he walked back to the cockpit.

Mara sat there with her legs up on the controls. Kalin didn't like the sight of it, cause she still came over as just an arrogant character.

"So did the 'poor' soul say anything! I heard this strange noise."

"The man didn't say anything useful at all... So I cut his tongue off. Don't worry it will grow back if the emperor still wants him to speak." Kalin said with a sadistic grin.

Mara grinned and enjoyed what Kalin had done with Li. "I don't think he'll need Li for anything, Kalin. The Emperor will just kill him without any thought. That's why it was pointless to not have him killed on Ryloth. But I have to admit I like your way of thinking... That was some nice move you made with Li..." She enjoyed Kalin's sadism, though Kalin only did it for security measures.

"Kalin, why don't you drop the Nyx girl and follow me. Together we could be so strong!" She said in a tempting voice, stroking his chin with her finger. "I'll give you something you could never imagine..."

"And what would that be?!" Kalin asked with a sarcastic grin on his face.

"Pure...Unlimited...Power..." She said to him, clenching her teeth in satisfaction.

Ayanna stopped outside the cockpit, hearing what had been said. She could hardly believe her ears, but silently turned around and walked back to the common area. There was no way she was going to walk in there with those two now. She marched a little in the common area, confused and angry, before making her way into her own chambers with Kaytoo, securing the door behind her so that no one would disturb her. She sat on her bed, holding her hands to her head, Kalin sounded very tempted by Mara Jade's offer. Something she could never have expected from him, especially after what they had spoken about a few weeks ago, although, nothing had happened since then. She sighed, almost in a groan as she dug her nails into her skin, causing her to bleed, but as soon as she let go of her skull, the scars began to heal themselves until there was no trace of it.

Kaytoo gave a few sad beeps as he looked at her,

"I'm sorry my little friend.... But if I have to go, I can't take you with me.... You should stay with Kalin...."

She said seriously, as she had clear thoughts that it was possible she was going to have to leave, or at least ask to be assigned to someone else other than Kalin.

Kaytoo gave some sad beeps,

"I know.... But it's only right....." She said as she then shut her eyes sharply, feeling a pain in her head. She opened her eyes startled, then standing up. She knew the feeling, and became scared. She then sat herself on the floor and began to meditate, hoping to clear her mind and her fears for what had just occured

"How could you ever give me that?!" Kalin asked in disbelief.

"I think you underestimate me, Kalin. I'm the Emperor's Hand for a reason! I don't underestimate you, I think you have great potential... Far more than Vader!" Mara said keeping her tempting voice.

"So you want me to challenge him and defeat him?! What if I did become the apprentice?! What benefit would that be for you?!" Kalin said cause he surely thought Mara was just teasing him with one of her sarcastic ideas.

"Well once you're potential becomes greater, I'll help you to kill the Emperor! I swear, then you can take me as your apprentice and we will rule the galaxy together!" She said keeping her tempting voice, though it didn't effect Kalin.

"I've heard those words before, Mara. And I know what happened. The result wasn't good... So thanks for the offer, but no thanks!" He said and turned his look from her, concentrating on the controls of the ship as they were approaching Coruscant.

Mara said in annoyance that her temptation on him didn't work. She was too overconfident that it would have.
