Alucard and Resei stepped down from the transport, and looked around. Alderaan was a beautiful planet, filled with diverse landscapes and a comfortable climate. It was also a place of peace. There were no weapons. No military. No armed force of any kind.
Looking around, Alucard spotted a map, pointing out places of interest across the planet. Scanning, he found what he was looking for. A major shopping district.
"We'll need to go here first," he said to Resei. "If we are to blend in with the nobles, we must appear to be nobles ourselves. We need to dress the part."
"Ehhhm... Dress?"
As the farmer boy he was, Resei was not used to silk and stuff, so this could pretty fast be the most diffivoult part of the operation...
"Yes, dressed. Like the gentlemen we are. Or our cover are..."
Resei groaned, but after a while, he accepted it.
And then they started out for to get their hands on those disks!
So long after last time Resei landed on Alderaan, alone this time.
He disembarked, and hid his holdout-blaster in his clothes. Still the extravagant Alderaanian clothes.
Then he went huntig.
His first objective was to find a beggar who could lead him to Taves.
However, after a good hour's looking, he had still found no beggars in the city.
As a last chance he went to the Landing Platform again.
Fumbling around in the garbage stuffed away far from the rest of the Platform, wearing his rough clothes, receiving many disgusted and/or suspicious looks, he was about to give up and believe he was the only 'beggar' on the planet.
But then he found another.
The man was hidden behind a big pile of garbage.
he was not excactly a beggar, Resei guessed he had more likely been to some party, and then it had gone a bit to wild for him.
Resei sniffed at his mouth, then hastily threw himself away from the stench, and a rough estimation told him this guy had gotten to much Boga noga for it to be healthy.
Boga noga was after all among the strongest alcohols in the galaxy!
He pulled the man up, and slapped his face multiple times to wake him.
"Rise and shine, buddy!"
The man groaned and murmured, Resei thought he heard the classical 'aow... my head', and smiled.
"Now where do you live?"
After the third time the man said it Resei was able to hear what it was.
He pulled him to that adress, and opened the door with the mans key.
The apartement was near the Landing Platform, and from the window you could see spaceships landing and taking of.
After a long bath the man was finally awake.
"Thank you for pulling me home, stranger. Is there anything I can do to reward you?"
"Actually, there is something that I need... This Clawdyte, about this tall (the usual blurry move with his hand), armoured, arrived here about (Resei paused a while to remember the date Torvill had given him). Seen him?"
"At the date you mentioned I was actually outside in the streets most of the day, waiting for a party to start... Uhm... Well, anyway, I saw this stranger, he went inside the protection service training building.
I remember because a couple of days later I saw him walking with Antilles."
"Protection Service Building... Where is that?"
Resei thanked the man for the explanation, and followed it until he stood before the building.
Taves had joined Protection...
Why not?
You might want to get rid of that hatred. If you succeed we may meet sooner than you think...
Taves was clearly thinking of becoming a Jedi.
Resei did not know much of Jedi-stuff, but he thought he had heard they needed some thingie that allowed them to push people into dead trees not having to touch them (he remembered the clearly angry Kalin back at Cophrigin 5).
Taves had left for the very same reasons he himself sometimes doubted his job. They were pretty alike, that way, but Taves had gone further than himself.
Now he was heading back to continue training to raise inside the Guild, while Taves was to remain on Alderaan and keep trying to struggle towards Jedi.
He powered up the engines, and left.
Resei had been to Alderaan twice before. And only once alone. It had been an easier time. But now it was important He had to find a way to join the rebels. Maybe he would meet his brother again.. The thought made him slightly light headed, and he felt he really missed him... But that was a matter for another time. A sith and a bounty hunter who was joining the rebels? He had a long way to go...
Now time to walk it.
