History: Pooja was born 26 BBY on the beautiful planet of Naboo. Being the youngest of 2 daughters, she was certainly the most spoilt and the same time, most adored. Both her and her sister carry the name of their mother rather than father. This was due to the fact that the name was well known and respected in the politcal and social circles on Naboo.
As a child, she was considered to be very talkative and like many other young children, she seemed to have a new idea for what she wanted to be when she grew up every week and often spoke of being a Senator, a teacher, a starfighter pilot, a tusk cat trainer, and even an astromech droid. It is said that she had a crush like her sister on Anakin when he visited and she also liked playing games with him and asked a lot of questions.
At the age of 7 years, she was devastated by the loss of her aunt Padmé Amidala, who was said to have been killed by Rebel Jedi on Coruscant. She along with her family, and thousands of others, attended the funeral of the beloved Senator and former Queen. This is a day she has never forgotten, and often sees that as the end of her childhood as she knew it.
She would one day follow in her aunt's footsteps, and in 6 BBY, was pronounced the new Senator of Naboo, suceeding Jar Jar Binks. This made her a colleague of Leia Organa, the Senator of Alderaan, and the two became good friends, completely unaware that they were cousins.
