Title: Refugee Centre

Anakin - January 19, 2007 07:45 PM (GMT)
Here visitors can stay for a cheap price. Tatooine is poor and offers no luxury. These are poor rooms but they should be enough to survive on this desert planet.

Rent: 35 credits

Kleko - January 24, 2007 07:34 PM (GMT)
A purple Twi'lek comes stumbling into the entrance of the refugee center.
"hello i would like a room for the night" She manages to say between dry lips.
The young man siting there looks up. "well that will be 35 credit show me the money"
She takes her hand down in her punch and takes up 35 credit #what luck that noble dint see her taking it# "here you go and can i have some water brought up to my quarter?" "No can do but if you want you can buy this bottle for just (Ill let Anakin decide the cost of this bottle)" and hand her the precious liquid.

Anakin - January 24, 2007 07:40 PM (GMT)
"Here's the bottle my lady! That's two credits...and hurry up, hun! Don't have all day!"

The bartender was rude. He received the credits and walked away in a grumpy mood. He walked behind the bar again and served other customers. While he looked at Kleko he was thinking: "She sure is something...gotta admit! Hehe...Outlanders...phuh!!!"

He spat on the floor and and took a drink himself.

OOC: When you leave the RPG don't forget to change in your signature how much money you've spent.

Ignores the rude service (at least she got her room) and enters her small quarter. "Well its all i got for now" she mumbles as she goes to bed. "At least its not the cardboard box another freezing night. Maybe ill start the trip for Jabbas Palace tomorrow or maybe not"

OOC: wow that was fast ^^ well i was going to do that but first i would go to bed.

Kleko - January 25, 2007 10:56 AM (GMT)
As the twin suns slowly begins to rise the young twilek woke up.
"aah time to go to work" she mumbled to herself. She carefully opened the door and sneaked out. Well out on the streets she looked around. "were to work today? hmm maybe the bar? No i think ill want some... WATER! She grabed for her bag and looked. S***!" it was empty of all her water. "Damn those thiefs  if i ever get them ill rip their balls of!" Slowly walking down the road she looked around for a farm to sack. "hmm why do everybody have to attack water farms its so much hard to steal now!"

Phoebe had just arrived in Mos Espa and she noticed everything had changed since she was last here those 9 years ago. Sweat was already beginning to drip down her forehead. This drought was just as she had experienced years ago but she could handle it. As she hugged her backpack tighter against her frame she put her mind into a state of caution. As she roamed silently and carefully through the streets she noticed many Storm Troopers in the area. Taking care she pulled her black hood up and made her way to the local bar where she wanted to take a break before going to visit her father.

Yet her mind was filled with many questions while her main concern was the fact that he or rather they abandoned her and sold her to a slave trader. In her rightful mind she couldn’t forgive him but Marcus had taught her not to hold any grudges. In some way her father thought what he did was right while in reality it was frowned upon. Yet what did he care? He was rich and had everything he ever wanted.

She had made her way through the Storm Troopers and entered the bar that had music playing in the back ground. Walking up to the bar she sat down and asked for the barkeep over.
“Excuse me, sir?”

The bartender like always looked in a bad mood: "Yes, what do you want!?"

OOC: We mentioned in the rules you can't play multiple characters but that is mainly for main characters or other characters you wish to use for a long time period. If you wish a respond from a bartender or a businessman, you can stand in for them yourselves, just be careful when it comes to prices.

OOC: Okay - I'll keep that in mind.

"I'm looking for a slave trader named Vega - is he still around here?" she asked as she ignored the bar tenders gruff mood.

Anakin - January 25, 2007 03:40 PM (GMT)
The bartender was thinking

"Vega...Vega...mmm doesn't ring a bell...Maybe you should try to go over to Jabba's palace...a lot of businessmen do business with him. He's the one who keeps Tatooine running in my opinion...hehehe"

(OOC: Spelling errors fixed. Sorry.)

"All right thank you very much sir." she responded and then left the bar. After traveling some short distance she came to a halt before an inn. She moved out of the way of the crowds and snuck back beside the inn where she sat down thinking. Did she really want to go and see Jabba? Why was she even concerned over Vega? She had been thinking like a fool lately.

Taking a deep breath she let it out. "It's settled...forget my past. I am Marcus's daughter and he is my loving father. I never want to disappoint my father. I'm going back to Naboo where I can become a worthy senator and represent those who are free."

The Twi'lek starts wandring of towards the dune sea. (I'll be there)

EbeneezerAl - April 3, 2007 10:36 PM (GMT)
Alucard arrived at the Refugee Centre and waited patiently. Blending in with the crowd was the best way to go. He had decided that asking around for Kayla would only arouse suspicion. Best to lie low and listen out for any indication of who this Kayla Tarn girl was.

He had been waiting for a while when he finally heard what he had been listening for.

"Kayla, will you take this out to the dewback pen?" came a voice.

"Of course," said the voice of a young girl.

Alucard looked in the direction of the voice and saw a the girl picking up a pail of water nearly half her size. Using both arms to keep it off the ground. Then she set out the back door.

Alucard who had been hanging around for quite a while, took a different route, so as not to be seen following the girl. He had seen the Dewback pen earlier that day, and knew it's location.

He circled around the building, coming around to the exit the girl had used. It was in a side alley. The girl had taken it because it was the quickest way to the dewback pen. Alucard was rather pleased with his luck, in that it was also a very convenient location where he could avoid being seen.

At the place where the alley opened up to the pen, Alucar pressed against a wall, taking care not to step into view. He couldn't see anything, but he heard the voice of the herder.

"Thank you very much Miss Tarn. Run along now. I'm sure you're needed elsewhere."

Alucard backed quitely down the alley, halfway between the pen an the back entrance to the main building they had left. After a moment, Kayula came walking down the alley, her shoes and pants wet from the sloching water. She looked quite cheerful.

Before the girl knew what was happening, Alucard grabbed her, clapped one hand around her mouth, and gave her head a strong jerk, snapping her neck and killing her instantly.

Activating his datapad, he looked warily to make sure no one was coming. he contacted the secure channel and activated the holographic feed. When the channel was open, he spoke.

"The girl is dead," he said.

"Show me proof," came the reply

Alucard has anticipated this, which was why he had chosen to contact him right then. Turning the datapad around, he alloed the narrow field of view to focus in on the girl. The reply came back.

"Very well," came the reply. "Meet me back on Taris as we discussed and I'll have your bounty," said the man.

"Make sure that you do," said Alucard. "It would be a shame to have to kill my first client."

Alucard then deactivated the communication channel, and put away the small datapad. He was about to leave when he heard a voice come up the alley. A young boy was approaching, obviously sent to see if Kayla was done yet.

"Kayla," he called. "What's taking you so long? I've been sent to tell you to hurr...."

The boy's voice stopped as he looked saw the scene before him. Before he could recover to scream, Alucard drew his blaster and fired. There could be no witnesses. The deadly red bolt pierce the childs nack before burning into the ground. The boy fell, dead.

Although Alucard doubted anyone had heard the blaster, he quickly retreated into the maze of alleys, re-emerging into the crowded street some distance away and made his way back to the landing platform.
