| Name: Kalin Scarter Nickname(s): Kale, The Scarter Gender: Male Race: Human Homeplanet: Tatooine Age: 26 Occupation: Shadowtrooper training Eyes: Blue Hair: Dark Brown General Describtion: Kalin is not a small man, about 6’1. Strong body. He has an innocent face with a sad tone to it. He has pretty long hair which sometimes bugs his eyes when it falls down. When he gets angry he frowns really hard and often clings his teeth together. Clothing: He wears an old Jedi outfit he found on Kashyyyk. He tore off the sleeves so people wouldn’t recognize it as a Jedi uniform. He has bandages wrapped around his wrists and hands. Heavy leather boots. He also has an old black cloak which is neither Sith or Jedi. Weapons: When he entered the academy he received both a lightsaber and a light blaster for combat training. Transportation: none Other Equipment: He has a leather utility belt where he can hook his lightsaber on. It has three pouches for supplies and small inventory. Inventory: 500 credits in a pouch attached to his belt. The credits were provided for his training. Family: Kalin was raised by his father. When Kalin turned twenty he took care of his father who was too old to take care of himself or his son. Kalin trusted him but when his father confessed that he wasn’t his real father his trust got shaken. His temper made them split up for more than a year. Kalin later returned and showed more understanding to his father and took care of him until he died. Kalin got really upset when he died, which is one of the reasons he was lured to the Dark Side History: Kalin has no memories of his childhood. He never had a mother or any other relatives. He only had his father who was already at a pretty high age in Kalin’s first memories as a child. He was raised on the planet Tatooine and worked as a teenager in Anchorhead as a technician. As a child it was obvious that he had Force potential, although he never really trained. He used the Force mainly to elevate rocks. But when angry he sometimes used the rocks to smash objects. His father knew then that it was too soon to tell him the truth about his roots. When he grew up he knew his father was dying. That is why his father confessed Kalin’s real father already died many years ago. Kalin’s temper caused him to leave from his father and he only became more ill. He took a shuttle in Mos Eisley and went scooping around the galaxy. But a year and half later he returned to Tatooine, cause his conscience felt like he should forgive the man he knew as his father. The lie was a direct stab in his heart which caused a lot of hatred. Kalin forgave him though and took care of him until he died. Filled with frustration again he took his speeder into the dune sea for no real purpose. He was attacked by Tusken Raiders and Kalin got shot in his shoulder. It was then the first time that he was able to use the Force to protect himself. Unfortunately it became worse. He used the Force to push Tuskens of the high cliffs, because his mind became pretty twisted and he was filled with sadistic ideas. He was still weak in the Force for a man at his age. He wanted to become stronger and decided to cross the Dune Sea as far as he could on his bare feet. He didn’t care where he would end up, nor about the pain he started to feel. The crossing was really tough for him, cause it was hard to find food and shelter. The heat of the twin suns was also burning on his skin. But all the pain and suffering only made him stronger. He could beat Tusken Raiders who crossed his path with no weapons at all, using only the Force. One day it became too much for him and he collapsed. Three days later he was almost dying, but he was luckily found by stormtroopers who were patrolling. They took him to the medical center in Mos Espa where he stayed 5 days in a bacta tank and recovered. The officers at duty interrogated him for a long time. They concluded he was insane to cross the Dune Sea for no reason. After the interrogation he was released because they thought his insanity was harmless. In the cantina he hired a ship as transport and took off to Korriban because he wanted to become stronger in the Force. There they pointed out that he could not join yet because he was too weak. To start small he signed up for stormtrooper training with the purpose to become a Shadowtrooper to learn the basic dark arts. RPG Sample: Kalin woke up in the small room they supplied for pupils. He got dressed and walked around. It was too early to start training. He was anxious to start training though. He walked by the detention level where he heard screaming. He smiled because he loved the sound of it. When he entered the torture room, he saw a person hanging on the torture machine. The machine worked like Force Lightning on him. He wasn’t interrogated. He was attached to the machine to walk a slow death. Kalin liked the idea of it. He himself wasn’t afraid of a slow death, only because of him madness. When training started he took the lightsaber from his belt and ignited it. The lightsabers used in training are pretty weak which made it almost impossible to kill a person for the pupil’s safety. The supervisor walked by him. “Kalin!” He shouted with a strong voice. “I want you to stun the following person.” The superior looked at the other pupils and then he pointed his finger at a certain pupil who was known as one of the weakest. “Try to disable him, control your anger and your fear. Don’t lose focus by the hatred you feel towards your enemy.” Kalin nodded and frowned his eyes towards his opponent. For about 10 second they walked in circles waiting for the first one to strike. His opponent got scared and made the first move. He was in too much of a hurry. Kalin pushed him easily on the ground by using a strong grip on his lightsaber, pushing the blade so hard against the one of his opponent that he lost balance. He stood up and shivered. Kalin grinned with a sarcastic look on his face. Suddenly the supervisor immediately stopped the fight. He was disgusted how Kalin’s opponent was shivering full of fear. He called the guards which took him away and everybody had a good idea where he would be taken. Kalin was disappointed though cause he wanted a good fight. |
