Walks around looking at blasters and such. He sees everyone having fun but was wondering what was wrong with the senator. He thought about Palpatine and what Ray would do if he could get his hands around his neck. He walked into a small weapons shop.
"What are your cheapest weapons?"
Padmé - January 31, 2007 08:11 PM (GMT)
"Do you have a licence? We do not sell weapons openly here unless you are affiliated with an accepted organisation"
Said a burly looking man
RayCaptain - January 31, 2007 10:58 PM (GMT)
"No I am not in any organization,"
He turned and left the store...Where on the planet would he find a gun. That was it! He didn't tneed to be on this planet. He walked out of the mall.
"Now where to next?"
EbeneezerAl - March 27, 2007 01:57 PM (GMT)
Alucard walked through the mall looking at various shops, looking at the various wares to find what it was he was searching for. Finally he stopped at a counter and gestured at a multitool.
"How much will that be?" he asked.
"75 credits," replied the man.
Alucard paid the required ammount, took his multitool, and left the store, to finally complete his mission.

Cory had found her way back to the mall and had been taking in the sight of it. She had never been to the mall before and it was an amazing feat. There were a total of six floors of all kinds of stores which sold blasters to rare spices, to coffee, anything a girl could ask for. She wasn't here to shop however but relax. She found an empty bench by a large grocery store. She slumped into the bench and closed her eyes taking in the sounds of the mall. Looking above her there was an series of illusions - some were of rain forests with exotic but holographic birds that flew by and even the sound of a waterfall. Other scenes included a lake with fish, a mountain with some sort of bird hovering over it and screeching, and many different ones.
Something caught her attention though. She heard yelling from the store that was across the way. Someone was yelling curses and for someone to get back here. She stood up and watched as a small boy with a handful of apples and water. The kid ran right by her and Cory watched the manager come out yelling, "He's stealing my stock! Get him! The little street rat should be punished! Security!!"
With his luck no security officers were around so Cory took it upon herself to go after the kid. She took off at lightning speed and ran down the mall corridor passing by shoppers. She took a turn where she saw the kid turn at. That was when she came to a stop at a door that led out of the mall and into the back alleyways. She pushed open the door and found herself face to face with a brick wall. She saw several trash cans and heard sniffling and then movement. Using the uttermost quietness she snuck around to where the sniffling was when her arm show out and she picked up a girl who was 10 years old.
"LEMME GO!! LADY! LEMME GO!" the girl wailed as she tried to punch Cory in the face.
"A girl..." Cory said surprised, "look honey I'm gonna let you down. I'm not after you I just want to ask you a few questions."
The girl's eyes opened up and she stuck her tongue out at Cory as she tried aimlessly to get out of Cory's grip but it was no use. After some fighting she gave up and glowered at Cory. "whycha catch me lady?"
Cory sighed. She was about to tell this kid stealing was wrong but by the looks of the kid, she needed the food. "Look...kiddo...what's your name? I promise I won't hurt you."
The girl with gray eyes looked up at Cory and let out an exasperated breath. "Alena....lady....."
"Alena, that's a nice name and you've got to be the ugliest child I've ever seen." Cory said with a smirk.
Alena looked at Cory through squinted eyes and laughed, taking her humor well. Any other time Cory said that she would have gotten a slap in the face. "Alena...I'm sure I don't have to ask this but where are your parents?"
Alena's eyes lowered to the ground. "Dead. I've been on my own for this long...." she held up four fingers.
"Oh...I'm sorry about that. I'm going to set you down now. Promise me you won't run?"
"Okay Lady."
Cory then sat Alena down onto her feet and she knelt down beside the child. She chose her next words carefully. "Do you steal food often...?"
Alena nodded. "I have too...I'm hungry.." and with that said Alena's stomach gave a loud growl.
Cory looked down at Alena's tummy. "Oh my....was that you?" she smiled.
Alena giggled. "Yup..."
"What do you say. I'll go talk with the manager of the store and tell him I couldn't find you and then you wait here and I'll bring you something to eat. Okay?"
Alena's peered at Cory curiously. "You're not gonna take me back to the bad man...?"
"No of course not. I'll be right back. Okay?" Cory stated calmly as she turned toward the door. "Hide in your same spot and I'll be back in a few moments."
"Ok."
Cory walked back into the mall and to the grocery store. The manager was outside looking extremely upset. "did you get that brat?!" he asked as Cory walked up to him.
Cory shook her head. "No I never got the street urchin. Would you allow me to pay for what she stole?"
The manager peered at Cory through squinted eyes. "Why would ya do that missy?"
"Clearly it is a loss for you but if you don't want the money then that's fine with me....I'll be on my way..."
The manager grabbed Cory's wrist before she turned to leave. "It's okay miss...I've just been on edge lately. Sorry."
Cory ignored his babble and continued to smile. "How much?"
"Let's see the fruit and water were worth ten credits."
"Okay." Cory responded as she withdrew the credits and then nodded politely at the manager and walked toward the main entrance. The manager didn't give her a second glance as he went back into his shop. She walked around the building and to the alleyway.
"Alena?" she called wondering if the child hadn't taken the time to sneak off.
"Lady?" Alena answered quietly as she stuck her head from behind the trashcan.
"Come on...." Cory answered in the same quiet voice.
The girl rushed over to her and to Cory's surprise she took her hand and smiled up at her. Cory smiled back down at her and the two of them walked hand in hand to the small park. They found an empty bench and the girl sat down and put the six apples and four bottles of water onto the table. Cory sat across from her watching her cautiously. The girl looked to be only seven years old with untidy sandy blonde hair, gray eyes, a small frame, and she stood foot feet tall. Her clothes were baggy and muddy. She had several pockets in her pants and shirt. She was in clear need of a bath.
Alena watched Cory and smiled again at her. Cory couldn't help but smile back - the girl's smile was contagious. Cory dug around in her backpack and pulled out a bag of chips, two packages of cookies, and an ice tea. She handed Alena a package of cookies and the two of them began eating. Alena finished quicker than Cory did and she waited quietly.
"Where are you parents Lady?" Alena asked as she pushed over an apple.
"They too are dead. My father raised me and I never knew my mother."
Alena nodded and took a drink of water. Cory handed the girl her unopened cookie bag and stood up. "It has been a pleasure meeting you Alena but I don't want you to get into anymore trouble."
"I know Lady....it's hard though...."
Cory sighed. "Yes it's hard. Look...I'll make a deal with you. If you can go by one day without stealing I'll come to the park tomorrow evening and we can have dinner together again. Would you like that?"
Alena jumped up off the bench and nodded happily. "I can do it. I've gone on days without food but I was starving."
"Promise me you'll try your very best....?"
Alena smiled. "I'll try lady."
"Good....now go on with you."
Alena grabbed the package of cookies, the water, apples, and put them into her pockets. She rushed off through the park. Cory turned to make her own way out of the park. Her thoughts turned to the child's eyes. She was so alone but she had the courage of a lion. Her thoughts were interrupted when she heard. "Lady!!! Heeelllpp!!"
She came to a dead halt as she saw two security guards grab Alena and then run back into the building. They were going to put her in jail. Cory snarled as she rushed off after the guards. She was about to get arrested herself for helping a kid. This was going to be fun.

Cory stopped dead in her tracks. A thought had just came to her. She found the nearest empty bathroom and rushed inside. Pulling open her pack she frantically opened her laptop and hacked into the Identification Office. Using the card that Brooke had given her she manged to log in as her and began typing furiously away on the computer. She put in Alena's name and the same last name as her own. Next she put in her height, guess her weight, hair and eye colors. Using the scanner attached to the computer she scanned the seal and signature of Brooke's boss. Next took out a scan-pen and signed like a clumsy child still learning cursive on the scanner.
What the child hadn't realized was that Cory had taken her picture earlier with a camera she had in her coat. Using an art program she cropped the picture as bet as she could and placed it onto the correct slot on the id card. She then took out the proper material for the id and loaded it into the computers miniature printer and clicked the print button. The fake id card shot out but was still hot. She took it off and shook it in the air a few times letting it dry. Next she filled out a form and printed it out too. She shut down her computer and printer. After she had them securely fastened in her backpack she zipped it up and slung the pack over her shoulder. She just hoped everything would work out.
She rushed out of the bathroom as a lady walked in. Running back into the mall she quickly looked at the hologram map for the nearest security office and when she saw where it was at she took off running. Once she got to the office she rushed through the door panting heavily. A woman at the front desk looked up at her. "Can I help you miss?"
"Where......my.....sister...." Cory panted before she took a deep breath. "I saw two guards take my sister for some reason."
The woman at the counter asked. "Do you have proper identification?"
"Yes...I always keep it on me seeing how she tends to loose things." Cory replied as she handed the woman the paperwork and ID.
The woman looked them over and even went onto the database and found the information to be correct. She then handed the ID and paperwork back to Cory. "All right......I'll be right back in a moment Miss Lavinseer."
She left the room and went into a separate room where the child was being questioned. Once she opened the door the officer looked up at her. "Yes Jenna?"
"The girl's older sister is here to pick her up."
"Okay..." the office replied and looked at Alena who stared at the table.
He then left the room and walked back out into the front lobby where Cory sat in a chair. Cory stood up as the Security Officer walked in front of her. He shook her hand briefly. "Miss Lavinseer is it? Might I see your sisters ID cards and paperwork?"
"Of course." Cory handed the ID and paperwork to the security officer who looked it over.
"Might, I ask you sir, why my sister was brought in here? I go to use the bathroom and when I come out she’s gone."
"We believe your sister stole a few things from the grocery store on floor B." the security officer replied as he looked at the ID card.
"I never saw her steal the stuff but I did see her run by as I waited for her on the bench. I then confronted her on the matter and went back in and paid the manager the proper fee’s for what she stole. I’ve warned her time and time again." Cory stated flatly.
"Well...I’ll let her off this one time but if she does it again…you won’t be able to get her out so easily. If you promise me she’ll never again come to this mall I won’t have to result in such necessary roughness. Deal?"
Cory shook his outstretched hand. "Deal. I’ll have another talk with her and if that doesn’t sink in then I’ll have to figure out how to break her of it."
The security officer nodded and left the room. Alena was then escorted out and Cory took her hand. She then bowed her head at the security officer and left the premises. She led the girl far away from the mall grounds and back out onto the streets. As they walked Alena didn’t say anything but when they stopped she suddenly latched onto Cory and hugged her tightly. "I’m sworry Cory...I’m soo sworry..."
"Look Alena....I have a feeling that if I let you go I’m going to regret it because you’ll end up in a detention center for thieves. Look…I’m going to give you one chance alone. You will come with me and you and I can be a family together. Okay?"
Alena looked up at Cory and smiled. "I will I promise not to steal anymore…I promise Cory!"
"Good...Now that that’s settled...you are in serious need of a bath. Come on." She sat the girl on the ground and took her hand once more. The two of them headed back toward the hanger bay. Cory knew she had plenty of supplies on the ship and the two of them were in good shape. Plus she knew she had old clothes from when she was a child on the ship and they would fit Alena. It seemed that the kid had brought an unexpected joy into her heart. The thank you’s were appreciated in Cory’s mind because she had just done something illegal but it was worth it. The kid deserved better.
