School of Business - Here you will learn everything from management, economics, accountancy, ethics and so forth. this course will truly prepare you for your venture into the world of business.

School of Law - Here you will learn all about the legal systems that apply to the galaxy as a whole. You will also have options to study the local legal systems of certain appointed planets.

School of Politics - In order to have a voice in the Senate, you must take your first steps. Here you will learn a vast range of topics related with business and law as well. You will be groomed in your body language, as well as elocution lessons.
School of Musical Art - If you have the talent of music, here you will learn to use all of the aspects of your gifts. From dancing, singing, performing, composing, and studying musical theory. This will prepare you for any kind of musical work.

School of the Arts - Art does not simply mean a paint brush to canvas or pen to paper..... Here you will learn the history of art from a wide range of planets. You will learn to use every form of artistic expression.

School of Medicine - Here you can explore any course of medical occupations from nursing to surgery. this will prepare you for a service to the people, which in this growing galactic population is ever more vital.

School of Science - Here you can expand in all sciences. This is a thorough course and graduates always advance to high statures.

School of Engineering - This covers every form of the word, from buildings, machinery, weaponary etc There are many departments for this area.

School of Languages - this will enable you to either improve in your mother tongue or learn languages from across the galaxy. This enables options as an interpreter.

School of Protection Services - Though many planets have their own form of protection, individuals need their own. Here you can learn how to be Royal Guards, Handmaidens, Security and so forth.

Jin-Ho - School of Protection Services

Elan made his way across the tiled floor of the universities reception. Taken aback by the amount of courses on offer Elan had to take a moment to absorb it all in. Finally after much deliberation he made his way to the reception desk. He was suprised to see a human sitting behind the desk, normally they programmed robots to these mundane administrative tasks.

He had thought long and hard about his decision. He had spent many years protecting people. It seemed like a natural choice, a choice that would teach skills that he was sure he could use to help people and to join the rebel cause.

' I'd like to apply for the protection services course' Elan stated pleasently.

An elderly woman looked up to him. She pointed to a large oak varnished desk where a younger woman, around 40 sat writing.

The woman had already seen him come in and signed for him to come over and sit down.

"Welcome young man, I am the Dean of this University. Protection Services you said? Excellent, more and more we are needing fine young officers to forfill these rolls. The course is 100 credits as with all the others."

She began writing down a few notes, occasionally glancing at him.

"If you become very successful in this course, you may even be offered a job protecting our Royal Family place to place......"

She continued to right down.

"Now, the course does take some time, so I think getting some form of other job would be best for you...... However, I'm going to give you this certificate..... It will grant you access to the Royal Palace, go there, they'll know what to do..... It will be good experience for you while you study......"

She handed over the golden certificate which had her signature at the bottom right corner, it shined as the ink was still wet.

OOC: Bringing Amyante (Jin-ho's cousin) along for moral support... Background NPC only.

Accompanied by Amyante, Jin-ho made her way through the University campus. Although her older cousin didn't really need to be there herself, she had decided to follow her for moral support. As the red headed girl was still feeling a tad nervous, she found that having someone along that she knew did indeed manage to make her feel more at ease.

Well, that, and she had the money for the entrance fee.

Walking over the tiled floor up to the receptionist's desk, she looked over her shoulder to Amyante for support, before stating what she had come here for.

- "Umm... Miss? Is there still an opening for the School of Protection Services?" :unsure:

Behind her, Amyante took out a small holodisc. It held the information that the university would need to know in order to enroll her: Birth certificate, Planetary ID, graduation certificate from her last school on Dathomir... That sort of thing. Even though she figured it'd be readily accessable through the Interplanetary Computer Network, it never hurt to be prepared, just in case.

"Good afternoon, yes there is. It's wonderful to see more and more young people becoming interested in protection services."

She handed Jin-ho a form.

"If you complete this, and also sign at the bottom then that will be perfect...... If you complete this course then you may be lucky enough to be appointed as a handmaiden for Queen Breha herself!"

She took the completed form back from Jin-Ho.

'That's excellent, alright young lady, you are now officially a student with us. Take this slip, it proves that you are a student with the university. If you proceed to the training, they will sort everything else from there"

The lady smiled as she passed the slip to her.

"Remember to deposit your 100 credits for the course before you leave. Welcome to the University of Aldera"

The lady stood to shake Jin-ho's hand in congrats.

Jin-ho shook the woman's hand after recieving the slip, beaming a wide smile. That is, until something occurred to her... Getting her enthousiasm back under control, she looked at the receptionist semi-embarassed.

- "Umm... How would i get to the training facility from here?" ^^;

True, she had seen a couple of maps hanging around the place, but she had no clue what half of it meant, never really having been on the campus grounds themselves. Getting lost would be easy especially considering how huge the place was compared to her previous school on Dathomir.

After having recieved the directions -- as well as a brief explanation of the map legend -- the young red headed girl was on her way to the training area, while her cousin was heading back home, her shift starting in an hour.

Zane found his way inside the university and soon caught back up with the zabrak he had met on the shuttle, they were both equaly confused. after about ten minuets of searching they found the area for the protection sevice and Zane's companion Quickly ran up to one of the desks before it became a large line, Zane walked up to a desk that had a line of only a few people and waited for his turn.
Zane finaly made it up to the desk with credits in hand ready to set out on his new journey.

A young woman looked up as he entered the building,

"Can I help you?" She said with a polite and light hearted voice, "Are you wishing to apply or are you merely visiting?"

Zane neviously replied

"oh yha sorry just kinda overwhelmed at the moment, yes i am here to apply".

Zane held out his hundred credits and waited for the woman's response.

"Very good, which course are you interested in studying young man....." She spoke in a polite voice while organising some of the files and papers ready to hand to him.

Not fully prepaired Zane replied,
"uhh well i was thinking something along the lines of a body gaurd or some sort of military thing".
"unless you have a nother suggestion ma'am".
Zane was shaking nearvously but regaind his composure and stood ready.
He would have to overcome his fear if he was to survive, he thought to himself.

"Well concerning military then that is the Empire's business..... But we do have a course in Protection Services..... If you sign up then you will be sent to train with Captain Antilles..... But the choice is yours alone....." The woman said as she waited for his answer.

After some negative images of the empire flashed through his head, Zane replied.
"ok protection service it is!" (finnaly remembering that it was the reason he was here in the first place)

"Alright, well if you pay the 100 credits, you can go over to the protection service center where you should find Captain Antilles.... Take this... It shows that you are now a student with us and he will begin training you..... Good luck young man...." She said as she handed him a certificate.

Zane paid the 100 credits, and accepted the pass.
"Thank you".
Zane then saw Norish Vron running the direction the lady had told him and Zane quickly rushed to catch up.
