A number of Twi'leks believed that slavery was an efficient way to proliferate their species and preserve their culture, as the Twi'leks lacked their own means of inter-planetary travel. Regardless of how it came about, many Twi'leks lived as slaves or entertainers and were considered status symbols, especially the females of rarer skin hues: the Rutian and Lethan Twi'leks.

These Twi'Lek use their skill of seduction to make you feel most welcome on the planet. It is a strange culture, but interesting nonetheless. Regardless that these females are slaves, they have the potential to be powerful by their charms. They use their entertainment such as dancing and performing other arts often to escape from captivity. Interested in their skills customers would bid any price to pay them free to either own them or in rare occasion marry them.

Ayanna kept Kaytoo close by her as they continued into one of the bars. She shook her head, sensing something but she wasn't sure if it was relevant to Li. Also copper head was distracting her somewhat, she just wanted her to fall down a random hole in the ground, then she'd be MORE than happy to deliver the news to the Emperor that she passed away. Mara Jade seemed to bring out a bad side of Ayanna, mainly because of her connection with the deaths in her family.

She walked close to Kalin, speaking quietly, "I sense something but it's faint.... Could be nothing...."

"I sense something too, it could be Li. But who's to know?! We have to get closer to make our senses more..." Then suddenly the crystal in his arm tingled. "What is it with this crystal, there's something else about it, this is not just an ordinary crystal..."

Mara Jade approached the duo. "What are you two talking about?! And what are we doing in this sleezy place?! Just look at those girls dancing... Pffff..."

"Well we sensed something familiar. Too bad you can't. I thought you knew him?!"

"That was a long time ago, Kalin, so leave the arrogance! Besides you said you sensed something, doesn't mean it IS him!" She said in annoyance.

Kalin whispered back to Ayanna. "It wouldn't be such a surprise for Li to be here, we found him on Ryloth before... Maybe he's back in that hotel, where I found you."

"I dread to think....... Though it worries me to suggest this but.... I think I have more chance of finding him if I go looking on my own..... He said he would approach me only when I was alone..... I think..... I'm pretty sure that I could handle it now..... I want to talk to him..... Not kill him..... Yet....." She whispered, not wanting Mara to hear this, "Well? What do you think? You keep 'The Emperor's Twit' busy while I go and look? I'll keep Kaytoo with me.... If anything goes wrong, he'll alert you, won't you..." She said as she looked to the droid who made a few positive beeps.

"Give Kaytoo this with him, it's a com-link." He said. "Good luck."

Ayanna left with Kaytoo to search for Li, but Kalin felt worried about this idea.

"Didn't know we were going to split up?! What is she thinking." Mara Jade said.

"She thinks Li might take the bait more easier if she would be alone. If he sees us here too, then he'll never try something to approach us." Kalin explained.

Mara smiled. "Well it atleast gives us more space to 'think', doesn't it, Kalin. I've heard you're a man of 'action'. You know you remind me much of Vader. I don't know, you have that kind of aura like him. Only you have more limbs than him that's for sure. You could become stronger you know, wouldn't you be interested to replace him?!" She said in a tempting voice.

"You're kidding, right?! Me the apprentice of Sidious? I would never be able to defeat Vader. Even with his loss of limbs, he's still stronger than me."

"But you're potential is far greater! Vader once had a great potential, but after what happened on Mustafar, the emperor got disappointed in him..." She spoke again in a seductive voice, but Kalin knew she was up to something.

"I'm not sure about that, besides what would be the benefit for you? Why are you saying all this?!"

"Because the Emperor would never take me as his apprentice. I just work for him, but he would never take a woman as his apprentice. He still sees women as weak, which is disappointing and frustrating, but there's not much I can do about that. He already did a lot for me. So I should be grateful..." She said lowering her face. She seemed a bit ashamed of herself or was she just acting. There seemed to be some truth in her words. Kalin could feel it.

Ayanna headed out of Lessu, and more into the country. She had the feeling he would never be in the city if he were here, not at this time. Though she didn't know why she felt that way. Perhaps she should've told Kalin her feeling about this, but Kaytoo was ready to send the alarm if something went wrong,

"If you hear anything, you let me know alright?" She said to the droid who answered positively.

She stopped as she began to look around her. There were nothing but black rocks towering above her, she almost couldn't tell rocks from shadows.

"I know you're there.... I can't see you.... But i know it's you...." She spoke seriously, getting a little afraid. She knew he was there, but didn't want to alert Kalin yet.

She could hear the rocks move slightly as there was movement, but she couldn't see anything. She only had a rough idea where he could be now thanks to the noise he had made,

"Please.... I'm not here to fight you.... I need to talk to you..... PLEASE...." She said almost pleading.

She then began to hear laughing, and she for certain now it was him.

"Are you going to keep on begging like that? I like it...." He said sneakily out of the darkness, she could hear he was grinning.

"Listen to me... You don't have to have this quarell with me.... I'm not your enemy... I don't know why you think I am..... Your my brother please....." She said, hoping she would be able to reach him in some way.

"Oh really?...... Then why have you brought your friend and also....... 'Another' here to capture me.... You're wanting to kill me aren't you....."

"No....... Well... Yes in the beginning I did..... But can you blame me?!! You tried to kill me!!!!! When I was a child..... Here on Ryloth..... On Aargonar....." She said, then igniting her lightsaber just so she could see him. Her purple lightsaber reflected all of the black rocks.

"Oh I was just playing....." He grinned, then igniting his saber, with the mixture of red and purple light illuminating everything.

"I don't want to fight you..... I just wanted to see you .....There's something you must know.... Adanna.... She... She wasn't my mother Li! I only just found out..... She was my sister....." She said as she backed off a little.

Li laughed, though he was interested in what she was saying, "Sister?.... Well, that's interesting...... That makes you my 'Auntie' then doesn't it......" He grinned.

"I don't know...... Please..... Why this.... Why does it have to come to this..... What did I do?!" She asked.

"You were BORN!!!!" He shouted, "I don't care who you are, you think I do?!! Why should I!!!"

"Why should you hate me, you don't even know me..... You hate this... This figment of your imagination.... Truly, I would love to see what you see of me.... It must be monsterous, but I just wish I knew why....."

He groaned, as though effected by her words, "I don't want to hear any more of this!!!" He shouted as he launched himself at her.

Ther blades clashed off each other with furious anger, though Ayanna tried to control herself as much as possible. He pushed her with the back of his hand as she was sent flying backwards. Kaytoo made some alerted noises and immediately got out of harms way to contact Kalin with the comlink.

Ayanna leapt back to him, as they continued to fight. Li stretched out his hand, lifting up large clumps of black rocks and throwing them at her. She deflected as best she could, but was knocked by some of them. In this environment, there were no plants for her to use as aid, though that would've only helped him more as well. Li laughed as he watched her deflecting the rocks,

"Pathetic..... You call yourself a Dark Jedi? You would be an insult as even a Jedi padawan...." He grinned, turning to leave the scene as though he'd felt the fight was over.

"NO!!!! You coward!!! Running off...... You say I'm not worthy? What are YOU? Too scared to fight me?" Ayanna shouted provoking him, "I tried to reason with you.... Did I touch a nerve?! I love you Li, despite the fact I shouldn't!! But don't think I'm not ready to kill you!" She screamed with tears in her eyes, "Run away..... Run away..... And I have won....." She smiled.

He stopped in his tracks and slowly turned around to look at her with enraged eyes that nearly burned into hers as they gazed at her. He didn't hesitate, and attacked her again, though she was ready, immediately slicing off one of his arms with one swift slash. He cried out in agony, but she knew that if he was anything like her, then would just be able to grow another back. So while he howlered, she kicked him to the ground and kept pressing her blade against the stump, burning it so that it could never close, "You took Kalin's arm..... Now I'm taking yours....... And furthermore...... i'm letting you live.... I'm not going to kill you.... Not now.... Why? Because I am more powerful than you.... I may not have the skills, but I have the will...." She said as she walked away from him, then grabbed ahold of his severed arm, "This is mine..... Run while you can.... My 'friends' will be here shortly.... And I will not be able to stop them from slicing you into several parts......." She grinned slightly.

Li held to the wound where his arm used to be, staring at her for a moment. Not with anger, nor sadness, just a blank expression, before he ran off into the darkness. Ayanna let herself fall to the ground, still holding onto her brother's severed arm, looking at it. She didn't know how to feel, but more than anything she felt disappointed. Not that she let him live, but that she enjoyed defeating him. After a few moments, Kaytoo wandered over to her with concern, but she merely patted the side of it as she still sat there in the darkness.

Mara Jade talked a little further to Kalin. She flirted a lot with him though he didn't like it and he would try to ignore it. Then she started to talk about Ayanna again.

"Where did you two meet again?! It's strange why you're with her. I mean a man with such power as you and she... Well... You know what I am talking about." She said arrogant.

"We met in the Jedi temple and I was able to convert her to become a Dark Jedi, cause she wasn't even a Jedi when we first met. She helped me tracking down a few and we killed them such as Kreio, the fraude. The one who many thought to be Anakin Skywalker."

"Anakin Skywalker?!" She laughed. "He's long dead, how stupid for people to think so. People can be so naive... No wonder that the Empire was born, cause people couldn't see what was happening right in their own faces." She said.

"So you're not happy with the Empire?!" Kalin said provoking her.

"Don't say that Kalin, don't play with what I said. I said the people were naive, but I'm still happy it happened. The Empire is better and it will bring the galaxy to peace, that's what the Emperor wants! But the remaining Jedi and this rebellion are causing a problem that resulted in Civil War. We tried our best to prevent that!" Mara said defending herself and the one she served. She was heavily biased concerning the Empire.

Kalin's com-link went off and he immediately knew that it was Kaytoo. Thanks to his help they could locate Ayanna in only ten minutes, but it seemed they were already too late. They saw Ayanna with a dead arm in her hand, but they didn't know what happened concerning Li. By only seeing the dead arm, Kalin got reminded of his own. He looked at his artificial arm and formed a fist out of hatred that he had to carry this.

"What happened Ayanna?! Tell us everything!" Mara Jade demanded in a dominant voice.

Ayanna seemed changed, she had a strange smile on her face as she looked at the severed arm, but then she looked to Mara Jade with burning eyes, then to Kalin, "Well, I bumped into Li..... I took a trophy.... He went that way...." She said as she finally stood up, still holding onto his arm, "He's weaker than I thought he was actually..... I think he's still on the planet.... Though, I'm sure you'll be able to find him easier now, I made sure of that..... And getting a new arm? Well, with his genetic make up, he's going to start alarm bells.... His blood is poisonous.... Just as mine..... No one can touch my blood, so I expect the same will go for him, so he's got a problem on his hands....... Hand...." She smirked, she didn't care if they were angry he got away, because she had let him. And she could already feel that he was in agony about it, that she had shown him 'mercy' by not killing him, it was driving him insane with rage. And she smiled knowing that.

"And you just had to let him go and walk away? Great job, Dark Jedi!" Mara said sarcastially. Kalin didn't like her ways, but he had to agree with Mara on this on. It wasn't the smartest choice to let Li go and do nothing. She didn't even pursue him.

"Why didn't you go after him?!" He said in annoyance. Mara and Kalin both ignited their lightsaber. They weren't going to hide it and immediately left off to find Li. What Ayanna was going to do was not certain to Kalin. She seemed so proud that she got his arm chopped off, and he knew all to well why she did so. She really thought she did him a favour in doing so, but did this act bring his original arm back. Kalin was greatly disappointed in Ayanna. By the way she talked she was also sounding more like a common Dark Jedi. Arrogant and overconfident.

Ayanna followed them, though not with the same enthusiasm they had, with Kaytoo rolling behind her as he came after her. She kept holding onto the arm.

It was not long before they came across Li, who sat on the ground groaning over the loss of his arm. When Ayanna saw him, she wasn't sure whether to be pleased or not, though she could hardly believe that he hadn't run off somewhere.

He looked to the three of them, knowing them all, though he couldn't say anything. He merely looked at them as he held onto the stump where his arm used to be. Ayanna began to feel more and more angry, though not exactly sure why.

"You left something behind...." She said quietly.

Both Kalin and Mara pointed their lightsabers in Li's direction.

Li spoke. "Mara, you wouldn't harm an old friend, would you?!"

Mara clenched her teeth. "In the name of the Emperor, I have come to kill you, you traitor!". She lifted up her lightsaber ready to strike at him, but Kalin stopped her. In a calm voice he spoke.

"No! We're not killing an unarmed prisoner!". They both looked at each other with angry eyes. Mara didn't like to get orders, but she knew Kalin was stronger than her and she didn't want to get in another fight with him. She lowered her lightsaber pointing it back at Li. "Have it your way, Kalin. Just get those binders and get him to the ship!"

Kalin placed the binders around his ankles. He couldn't run away this way anymore. With no lightsaber he surely wasn't a match anymore for the three of them.
