Title: Holographic Transmission

Anakin - January 10, 2007 06:21 PM (GMT)
The more advanced communication which sends a holograpic image through to clients who don't wish to stay anonymous. The most important being the Empire itself who uses this technique also.

Alucard arrived at the communication center and stepped in front of the the holographic transmitter. He opened a channel to the Bounty Hunter's Guild on Coruscant.

"What do you want," came the voice from the gruff looking man on the other end.

"My name is Alucard Loran," said Alucard. "I've completed my training as a Mandalorian, and wish to register as a member of the guild."

"Very well," said the man. "Congratulations, Loran. You are now a member of the Bounty Hunter's Guild. Welcome to the life."

And with that, the transmission ended.

Alucard returned to the camp to pick up his new equipment.

EbeneezerAl - April 24, 2007 08:01 PM (GMT)
Alucard arrived at the communication center and activated the terminal. He typed in the cheannel that would put him in contact with the person who had posted the bounty. A moment later, an image appeared of a slightly heavyset man with a menacing face.

"You would be contacting me about that bounty I posted I presume," said the man in a low growling sort of voice.

"You presume correct," said Alucard.

"Well, I'll tell you up front, no one is to die during this mission. Your target is not actually a human one."

"What, then, is my target?" said Alucard.

"My crew and I are slavers," said the man. "We have a mind to pick up some...er, cargo, at a small villiage in the midst of the Dune Sea on Tatooine. It's isolated, so no one would really miss the people or wonder where they'd gone. And if anyone does, it's a harsh environment. People disappear out there all the time. What with all the sandstorms and the Tusken Raiders."

"What's this got to do with me?" Alucard asked imaptiently.

"Well, the thing is, one of my men got cold feet," said the man. "Started lettin' his conscience get to him. Sent a trransmission to the villiage warning them that we were comin'. He of course has been dealt with. However, now our intended cargo has advance notice.

"Now goin' to the authorities won't do no good, bein' on Tatooine. Place is swarmin' with criminals. And the authorites are paid handsomely to turn a blind eye to anythin' supicious. However, these folks got it into their minds to take matters into thier own hands. They set up defensive measures designed to keep us out. Damn good ones too.

"Our ship's ain't designed for combat, and most of our trade relies on surprise. We can't force our way around these obstacles without outfittin' our ships to withstand them and that takes time and credits we don't have. So we've decided to enlist your assistance."

"What is it exactly that you want me to do?" asked Alucard.

"What we want from you is for you to sneak in and disable the security measures. Once thier defences are gone, we can swoop in and pick up the villagers. You will then meet us on Ryloth upon completion of this task, where we will pay you your bounty of 750 credits."

"Sounds easy enough," said Alucard. "We have a deal. Transmit the coordinates of this village,"

"There," said the man after pressing a few buttons.

Alucard downloaded the coordinates into his datapad and the turned off the communicator and left.

Resei had found the HoloTape of the reports of the rebel Jin-ho.
He watched them over and over again.
It all seemed ok, yet something was... not right!
First some Alderaan-related thing saying she was killed in battle.
That was really a lousy attempt, transparent as ****!
Then an "unknown person" had claimed the bounty.
No details, no body.
If the first was an attempt of erasing the bounty...
then... Off course! That was it! What hadn't made sense!
This.... girl has powerful protectors... Just a shame it was so badly disguised! Two attempts of erasing the bounty, and now it was clear to him that they both ruined for the other.
He smiled. Now he just had to find the whereabouts of that little sabotour. And be watchful of those powerful friends...
He studied all the pictures they had of her.
Some of them didn't at all look like the others, but he thought he got a clue of what to look for.
To Alderaan!

As he started to leave, he found his path blocked by a big Mandalorian.
"I saw your expression. Believe me, she is dead, we HAVE investigated. The best you can do is to stay here and train recruits, instructor.
You are NOT permitted to try to hunt her down, as she is already taken care of.
Is that clear?"
Resei sighed, and nodded.
He got a sharp, but satisfied look from the Mandalorian, and went out to train more recruits.
Powerful friends indeed... One day they'll realise I was right... Unless they know already! I hope her friends is not THAT powerful! Well, in the mean time, I've gotten some recruits to train... It seems my destination is again Jedi Hunter, instead of Alderaan.
He sighed, and started to look for recruits.
