Training starts with basic combat training. After that you can choose what trooper you want to become. Stormtroopers and Scout Troopers have light training, while troopers such as Sandtroopers and Snowtroopers are heavier and train often on different planets to test their skills in different climates.

Shadow Troopers begin their training on Kamino to learn the use of lightsabers which holds basic training but evolves to more experienced training on Korriban where they also learn the use of Force Powers.

Storm Assassins have a very light training in wielding blasters, but start the use of wielding several melee weapons but are specialized in vibro-blades attached to their wrists.

Darth Vader arrived with his Shuttle. He came all the way from Korriban to Kamino for an inspection for new troopers in training. During the inspection he often provoked troopers in training to attack him, but because they lacked training they were no match for the Dark Lord of the Sith at all. It often ended with their heads roling over the floor, decapited by his lightsaber. Both Lamu Su and Taun We were shocked by his actions although they knew Vader could be very strict in inspections, they never expected this. Vader moved from one trooper training to the other. He inspected troopers such as Sandtroopers, Snowtroopers and other. Lamu Su spoke of a promissing trooper in Shocktrooper training so Vader was anxious to meet this "promissing" trooper.

As Ray and the clones walked down the hall they saw Darth Vader.

"Hay Ray!" one of the clones,who hated Ray,whispered to him, "I dare you to talk to Lord Vader!"

Ray never turned down a dare and still disliked Vader for killing Faaron. Ray slunk to the back of the line and waited untill they turned the corner. Then he went behind Darth Vader.

"Um..Lord Vader may I have a word?" Ray begin to sweat very heavily.

Vader turned around to speak to the one who had the nerve to approach him. His dark image frightened the whole facility. With a cold voice he spoke.

"What is it trooper..."

Ray took off his helmet and took a long gaze at Vader. He had never heard a such a cold voice...never had he met such a man of great power.

"I heard about those troopers that you..er..did away with. One of those were my friends though and I was wandering. What do you think of my performance?" Ray was jumping from subject to subject trying not to say the wrong thing.

Egone walked down the hallway. Then he saw him. The great Lord Vader was speaking with a clone. A normal clone. It didn't make sense to him. He stopped and snapped to attention and saluted smartly as he walked by Lord vader. Hoping he would notice his servent.

Almost a minute passed and he grew tierd. But still he stood.Until an officer said "At ease for Gods sake!" Egone rested. Then he thought. Then he acted. He walked toward lord Vader hoping to get to hear his voice.

Darth Vader found it amusing that this clone was asking such silly questions about what happened to those other troopers, but to keep the clones disciplined he stayed firm and always responded harsh

"That is not your concern, trooper...Or do you like to share the same fate as them?!"

Ray sighed in relief because Vader wasn't as bad as he thought he would be. So Ray realaxed and talked more calmly so he wouldn't studder.

"Lord Vader,I am Ray Malvia Captain and as of right now I would like to know how my scores rest in yuor eyes because if you dislike my scores I might be able to bring it up to your standards,"

Ray tried to act as if it were one of the senators he was talking to not a ferocious Sith Lord. Ray noticed the other trooper trying to listen in on them talking and attempted to make him leave. Ray turned to the clone.

"Do you mind?!" Ray straightened up and puffed out his chest.

"Your score does not interest me.... trooper......... If you prove that you have the loyalty and ability to serve the Emperor..... Then we will see..... But you are not at that stage yet!"

Vader looked straight at Ray and saw the fear in him. He left without saying anything further, continuing his inspection. His presence left a cold atmosphere. The Prime Minister took him to the Shocktrooper training area.

Ray was amazed at how he had talked to one of the most famous people around but was kinda mad because even with his score Vader didn't aprove. He was jumping with excitement and left towards the Basic Training to show he still had all his limbs. He entered the Basic Training area,Got in the line wherre they were being briefed,and stood right beside the trooper who dared him to talk to Darth Vader.

Do you mind?, the trooper had said. Egone had thought of "giving him the finger" as one of the non-clone troopers had tought him because he had humiliated him in front of Lord vader, but Lord Vader was still there and he dared not. He also did not want to get into an argument with Vader around, so he just walked off down the hall way to his room.

Egone had felt something that he rarely felt when the trooper said that to him. It was a sort of burning inside him. A desire to fight back. It was anger, another trooper had told him. He had learned most of the non-military things he knew from other troopers. Well, he desired to meet this "trooper" again. He wasn't of Mandalorian blood. He was lower.

TK 987 placed his heels together with the feet pointing outward at an angle of about 45 degrees. His knees were slightly bent and his hip was tucked forward. His shoulders were pulled back and down while his arms relaxed at the sides. The fingers on his left hand were curved slightly inward with his thumb pressing lightly against the inside of the first knuckle of the pointer finger. In his right hand was an electro-staff, which he would use to defend himself against Lord Vader. His head was erect, with the chin tucked in. TK 987 raised the electro-staff above his head and placed his left hand on the handle. His elbows were held wide apart and the handle was parallel with the back of his head. While bringing his elbows together he brought down the electro-staff, making a slightly elliptical arc in the air. While practicing this over and over, TK 987 thought about the past couple of days.

While the rest of the class was just finishing basic missile training, TK 987 had been secretly studying advanced thermal detonator training, mine setting, and advanced missile training. TK 987 was so skilled with his Merr-Sonn PLX-2M that many of the other clones in the group started calling him Merr-Sonn. Maybe that is why he was here practicing to go one-on-one soon with Lord Vader. Maybe TK 987 was destined for greater things and Lord Vader recognized this. Or perhaps Lord Vader would kill TK 987 as soon as the match started so that the other troopers would remember what happens to those who think they are better than the rest. TK 987 stopped practicing as someone entered the room.

Lord Vader took an electrostaff and approached TK 987. When Vader got closer he picked up his staff as defence. The fight went on and on but basically Vader was playing cat and mouse with him. Vader didn't give his best shot but TK 987 did. His defence and attacks against the Dark Lord were good for someone who was training as a storm assassin. Or maybe there was something more. At least that was the impression Lord Vader had.

The fight ended with a large stab in TK 987's chest. It didn't kill him because his armour protected him. But it stinged like hell. But as a loyal trooper TK 987 stood up again and stood firm if he would be killed or not, he stood in a formation like any trooper would do before the Dark Lord.

Vader dropped his electrostaff and stepped towards TK 987.

"Your actions are impressive but not good enough! At least not good enough to become a Dark Jedi...Yes TK-987....I'm giving you a choice...or you can stay here to become a storm assassin...Or you can join me to Korriban...and become something more!"

Vader waited for his response.

TK 987 kneeled before Lord Vader and bowed his head, saying "My lord, I am nothing in this world. I walk among these weaklings as one of their own, for they hold me back in fear of what I may accomplish. But I need more in life. I need to show them that I stand above them all. That I am superior to any clone before me. That I am superior to the original. This is the fork in the road of my destiny, and I choose to take the high road. My will is in your hand, my lord."
